OPENING SEGMENT
Out to the ring came one of the men who is helping to get this project off of the ground, and his name is Mick Foley. Foley has many accolades, and was the commentator for "Monday Night WAR" for a short and spirited stint while NWA War Zone was still around. The fans are very happy to see him as Foley talks about just the level of energy and the talent that are backstage, and what this show is all about.
He says that it is the love of each and every one of those men and women in the back to perform, and that's what this show tonight is about, taking place in perhaps the last historic wrestling venue left standing.
Foley says he has been in a lot of "hardcore" wrestling matches in his life, but he doesn't feel that term should be defined by thumbtacks or tables and chairs, but instead, the amount of passion, the amount of drive you take into a match, giving it your all each and every time, and with for that, this might be the most "hardcore" wrestling promotion on the planet.
He says he hopes everyone enjoys, because this... is RING WARRIORS!

SINGLES MATCH
Maurice "The Beast" Porter vs. "Long Island Iced-Z" Zack Ryder
"The Woo Woo Woo Kid" himself was here to open up this card, and the fans were entertained by his cocky, brash antics and mannerisms. Maurice Porter, however, was not, and he let Ryder have it early on with punishing forearms and knees, pounding Ryder and knocking the wind out of him early.
Porter is said to have the greatest vertical leap in Ring Warriors, and standing at 6'03" and 238 lbs., his size plus his agility make him a pretty imposing force. Porter looked a little green in his mat wrestling, as Ryder would take him down and try to stifle his high impact offense, which contests of dropkicks, suplexes and slams, wanting to get things going more his way. Porter, however, would manage to get things back on track by sending Ryder rolling to the outside after a very high elevation Hip Toss, following him out with a Suicide Dive through the ropes!
Ryder would manage to gouge his eyes on the outside and send him into the turn post to switch the momentum, nailing his Zack Attack finisher on the outside, before rolling him back into the ring. Porter picks himself up in the corner, but Ryder manages to catch him with high knees, smashing him into the buckles, before pumping his fist with a big "WOO! WOO! WOO!" and then nailing a Broski Boot, which earned him a two count afterwards.
Porter manages to fight back with fists to the gut and a dropkick, changing up the momentum a bit. Porter knocks Ryder down with a high leaping Clothesline, followed by a Diving Shoulder Tackle from the middle turnbuckle, but that only earned him a two count! Porter would call for the end after that unsatisfying count, tossing Ryder into the corner and trying to set him up for what looked to be a Muscle Buster, but Ryder managed to punch his way out before kicking Porter in the face, backing him off. Ryder then hops down and runs at him, leaping up and nailing the Rough Ryder, which leads to a three count for "Long Island Iced-Z"!
The fans give him a pretty good reaction for a well earned victory.

SINGLES MATCH
"The Female Terminator" Alissa Flash vs. "The Canadian Ninja" Portia Perez
This was a great showing, as expected, by two women who have recently been competing in Hong Kong with JPP. Perez would start off the match doing some posing, trying to get into the head of Flash by walking away from lock up attempts and jawing with the fans instead of focusing on the task at hand.
Flash would fall into "The Canadian Ninja's" trap, attempting charge her, only to catch a kick to the midsection and get taken down by her hair, following up with some ground grappling. Once into this thing, these two were very gritty and raw, this match not resembling a lot of the more choreographed looking fare that these fans were obviously used to seeing, as these two really told a vibrant, enthusiastic story, grappling with all of their might and stretching and pummeling one another as if they were both in the fight of their life.
Flash would manage to withstand Perez's assault, managing to kick out of her numerous pin attempts and not tap out to her submission prowess. The match became a battle of who could nail their finisher, as Perez's Kosher Pickle is practically the set-up for Flash's Kudo Driver and vice versa, so they had to be very careful that attempting their own patented move wouldn't be a death trap leading to the opponent's.
Perez thought she had finally worn down Flash near the end after she hit the last of numerous Superkicks throughout the match, which staggered "The Female Terminator," but Flash was still not ready to die. Flash would escape her arms and hook around Portia's arms, looking for a Tiger Suplex, but Portia would break right arm free, thinking she could escape, but Flash grabbed her wrist, pinning it close to her chest and nailing a really gnarly looking Wrist-Clutch Tiger Suplex, which was enough to keep Perez down for the three count!
The fans gave these ladies a short standing ovation, as that was a truly inspired contest by both women.

SINGLES MATCH
Nate Vinaldi vs. Trent Barreta
Barreta would have the fans behind tonight, as he exuded a lot of charisma coming into this, while Vinaldi just didn't seem interested in playing those sorts of games. Vinaldi, instead, seemed to be very focused on one thing and one thing only, and that was punishing the left leg of Trent Barreta.
Barreta and Vinaldi would lock up and struggle it out early, but Vinaldi would trip up Barreta and take him down, beginning his dilligent, workmanlike assault of the Long Island native's left lower extremity. Barreta would try to regain his footing, suffering through multiple joint locks on his knee and ankle, but Vinaldi was persistent, grabbing the leg and slamming it off of the mat with a rolling motion, which finally lead to him acknowledging the crowd, giving them the high sign to, "Fuck off," pretty much. Vinaldi is a fiery Sicilian, after all, so subtle, tactful retorts aren't really his "thing."
Barreta is able to kick and kick on the mat, dazing Vinaldi who is wrenching his knee, trying to obliterate the cartilage, and Trent finally is able to roll away and pull himself up on the ropes. Trent is in a lot of pain, hobbling, but manages to get off a big Dropkick to the face of Vinadli to send him down and out of the ring. Vinaldi is holding his face on the outside, obviously stunned as he is taking a knee. Barreta hops on one foot, gouging the risk, but he decides he can build up enough steam and goes for it. He hobble runs and leaps, clearing the ropes and coming down somewhat awkwardly on top of Vinadli, smashing down on him, but also landing on his left knee, which seems to leave him in a lot of agony.
Barreta and Vinaldi are back up on the outside, where Barreta tries to keep control, but Vinaldi unleashes three big shoot kicks to his left leg, before grabbing him and dropping him shin first right on the guardrail! Vinaldi then tells the crowd to "shoosh," getting boos in return, before running and punting Barreta from behind, taking out his hamstring and sending him back to the floor writhing in pain! He rolls Barreta back in the ring from there, locking on a Half Crab and setting in on it.
Barreta manages to get to the ropes, looking like he might just give in, but doesn't. However, things only get worse from here, as Vinaldi pulls him out to the center of the ring and makes a downward slicing motion with his right hand before wrapping his around the bend of Barreta's left knee and practically sitting on top of his foot, falling and placing his left foot against Barreta's torso, using it to push as he applies an excruciating looking Calf Slicer! Barreta is crying out now, and it looks like he is about to tap out!
Barreta is fighting it, as the fans are cheering, but this looks like too much. He reaches, trying to pull himself, but he can't do it... he reaches for, but Vinadli wrenches back, really trying to apply the pressure... oh man, Barreta looks like he is going to die from the pain, but he just doesn't seem to know how to quit. Finally, finally he gets to the ropes, and the referee mercifully makes Vinaldi release, Vinaldi hanging on for every precious second, threatening the referee when he starts to interject physically.
Vinaldi picks up Barreta, kicking him in the leg twice before Barreta storms at him, nailing three big inside elbows, ducking a chop from Vinaldi and grabbing him with a Northern Lights Suplex, earning a two count! Barreta is back up, hobbling, but he's feeling the energy now, as he catches Vinaldi with a back elbow that sends him into the corner, followed by a Running Flying Clothesline into the corner, which he follows up with a Bulldog, but only gets a two count. Barreta picks up Vinaldi from here, still favoring the leg, but adrenaline has fully kicked in now.
Barreta whips Vinaldi, and waits a second before following him. Vinaldi hits the ropes and runs, but Barreta is a second behind him. Vinaldi stops and turns, BOOM, getting caught with the Gobstopper! Barreta rolls, though, and picks himself up in the corner, climbing to the middle turnbuckle. The fans are cheering big time now, as Barreta motions for Vinaldi to get up. The Staten Island native picks himself up, obviously on dream street, when Barreta flies off the ropes, grabbing his head and twisting him with a massive Swinging DDT! Barreta beautifully floats over it in one fluid motion, and the referee makes the count, giving him the win!
That was a very exciting conclusion to a grueling, methodical match.

TRIANGLE MATCH
Corey Graves w/ Brad Maddox vs. Matt Hurley vs. Tony Nese
Both Graves and Nese didn't have a lot of luck in tag team action at the first Ring Warriors show, but both men looked to have success in singles competition. The wild card here was Matt Hurley, as neither man had ever heard of him, so preparing for him was nearly impossible, and Hurley was able to sort of use that to his advantage. It is sometimes scary to delve into the unknown, and neither man seemed all that eager to try to jump into that, and when they did get so venturous, it did turn out to be a risky endeavor.
Nese has a lot of power and speed, so he tried to drive the early goings with his intense and hard hitting offense. Graves is more of a measured performer, as he is an entertainer that likes to pick his points and make his moves count. Hurley showed himself to be a little more devil may care than either one of them, as he showed that he wasn't afraid to put his body on the line or go for something a little more unorthodox to try and get favorable results, taking the opportunity to make a big dive or trying a risky move that might not pay off.
In the end, it looked like Graves would have this match dead to rights, Hurley on the mat after a getting smashed with a Dead Lift German Suplex from Nese, Graves was able to come in and make the save, tackling Nese and applying a stiff looking leglock he calls the 13th Step, but Nese was able to muscle himself over to the ropes to break it up.
Maddox would choke Nese as the referee wasn't looking, Graves getting in his face. Graves would see Hurley stirring and up to a knee, so he decided to go over and start kicking him, looking to finish him off, perhaps. Graves would land two solid kicks, but on the third, Hurley would block it. Taken aback, Graves would try for a clothesline, but Hurley rolled under it, sitting on the mat before rolling backwards and popping up, delivering a huge Mule Kick from the apron that caught Graves with under the jaw, popping up with his arms and his two feet just planting perfectly for the knock out shot!
Graves would fall face first on the mat and Hurley would get him in a half nelson to roll him over, covering and getting the shocking three count! Hurley takes one out of nowhere to the shock and delight of the audience with that wild kick! Brad Maddox can't believe it, and neither can Tony Nese. It takes Graves quite some time to wake up after that shot, as that was just a stunning surprise knock out blow from the rookie in Poughkeepsie tonight!
Put that on your highlight reel!

TAG TEAM MATCH
The Coven: Benedict Priest & "The Scandinavian Scavenger" Erik Marduk vs. The Killer Elite: "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards & "The Real RocknRolla" Prince Devitt
This was really a nice little tune up match for the newly formed Killer Elite team, as they took on two guys of much lesser experience, though Priest and Marduk showed some pretty competent tag team work tonight. Edwards and Devitt, however, were really on their game and looking to try and fine tune their skills, as they were none too pleased about taking a very hard loss at the first show.
The Coven are a dark and sinister team, as one might expect given their look and their names, but they were able to mix that with some good, basic tag team psychology and a pretty exciting style. Benedict Priest is a very flashy type of wrestler, who uses a lucha libre influenced style and a lot of posturing to keep the fans invested. Marduk is just gritty, but he is high impact and has some impressive looking moves that can really punish his opponents, such as a Straight Jacket Suplex he used on Eddie Edwards to get a two count before the "Irish Captor" came off the top and landed a brutal Double Stomp to his midsection to break the bridge.
In the end, the Killer Elite would overcome the heel tactics of The Coven, able to fight back after multiple attempts from their lesser experience foes to cut off the ring, ending the match with some solid double team work, which was completed when Edwards lifted Priest for a Powerbomb and Devitt hit a Double Knee Backbreaker while he was performing the move, putting Priest down for the three count in an impressive showing.

SINGLES MATCH
"The Cyborg" Cameron Mitchell w/ Darren Reeves vs. Mark Briscoe w/ Jay Briscoe
This was a little warm up match for both men, as both of their teams square off next week to determine who gets a World Tag Team title shot. Mark looked pretty cautious, talking a lot of his strategy over with Jay at ringside, as everybody saw the kind of power and ferocity "The Cyborg" brings to the ring last week.
Mitchell stalks Briscoe early, as Briscoe tries to pick his spot, deciding to attack the leg and then try a headlock, but Mitchell lifts him up and tosses him completely out of the ring. Mark lands on his feet on the outside, but his eyes are wide, Mitchell flexing and roaring like a tyrannosaurus in the ring! At 5'10", 229 lbs., he may not seem like much on paper, but this guy is very physically daunting in the ring.
Mark gets back in and starts to go for some chain wrestling, realizing he can probably out wrestle and maneuver Mitchell, and he's right to an extent. Mitchell does not appear to have a very refined sense of mat grappling, but he manages to escape Briscoe's attempts to hold him down, plowing him into the turnbuckles with multiple shoulderblocks, followed by nailing him with a Standing Rock Bottom in the corner, causing the back of Mark's head to pound down onto each turnbuckle in a bad way! Mitchell then dead lifts him off the ground by his legs, spinning and delivering a Sit-Out Powerbomb that shakes the ring to its foundation, but only gets a two count!
Briscoe manages to fight back with multiple throat thrusts, realizing that the wind wipe is a necessary thing, even for a "Cyborg" before hitting a Leg Lariat to the back of Mitchell's head, but only gets a two count on the pin attempt. Briscoe nails him with two consecutive leg drops before going to the apron and flying in with a big Slingshot Double Stomp, but that still only gets him a two count!
Mark calls for the end, not wanting to press his luck any further, and attempts to hit his Cut-Throat Suplex, but Mitchell rolls over it and lands on his feet, grabbing Mark by his throat and lifting him with a sort of awkward but effective Choke Bomb! Mitchell rolls away, obviously not finished, as he grips the middle rope, rearing his left leg back like a raging bull, and then rushes as Briscoe regains his footing, catching him straight to the midsection with a Spear, which he lifts up and then slams him down, nailing that devastating SpearBuster!
Jay can be seen outside saying, "Oh damn! Shit... better him than me!"
Mitchell still isn't done, though. He screams out again like a raging lunatic, before grabbing Briscoe's legs and then twisting them up, wrapping his legs around his body into an Inverted Cloverleaf he calls the Cyborg Clutch. Mitchell wrenches his legs towards his back, which he has done considerable damage to in the match, and Briscoe has no choice but to tap out!
If this is a sign of things to come, it looks like Future Shock will be meeting The Pandemic very soon!

FATAL FOUR-WAY MATCH
Curt Hawkins vs. "The Notorious 187" Homicide / Shelly Martinez vs. "Brooklyn's Flyest" JTG vs. "The Filipino Flex Factory" Shiima Xion w/ Brad Maddox
This was a match where there was definitely some bad blood between the parties. Hawkins and Xion had faced off in a Fatal Four-Way at the last show, which Hawkins came out on top of to earn a shot at Delirious' No Limits Title next week. Homicide was bested by JTG on the last show as well, and feels like JTG has severely disrespected him. And thus is begins, with each person going after he who they feel has slighted them.
This was a pretty well worked spotfest, as we saw some nice little high spots and a lot of big, high impact moves throughout. The valets and managers on hand played nice roles, Shelly slapping JTG across the face at one point and Brad Maddox putting the boots to Curt Hawkins in another instance.
In the end, Maddox would actually prove himself to be helpful for once, putting Xion's boot on the ropes after Homicide nailed him with an Ace Crusher close to the ropes, causing him not to get pinned. Homicide would argue with the ref and then try to grab Maddox, as Martinez went over and started slapping him. Homicide would turn around and get caught with a boot, followed by the One Night Stand from Hawkins, taking him down. Hawkins would get caught with a Flying Legdrop from JTG, who was breaking up the pin. JTG would go on to nail Hawkins with Da Shout Out, attempting to get the win, only to get hit with a Springboard 450 Splash from Xion, and that was it!
Shiima Xion pulls off a big time in here, pinning Curt Hawkins! The fans had to give it up for that impressive 450 from Xion, but his attitude made it easy for them to revert to loathing him as Maddox sang his praises all the way to the back, desperately needing one of his clients to get a win after having a recent rough patch.

SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Alex Shelley, Delirious, Jay Briscoe vs. "A-Double" Austin Aries, "The Death Machine" Chris Dickinson, "The Doomsayer" Darren Reeves
This was just a big mash up to give the fans a nice, big ending match. Darren Reeves really lucked out here, as he got to work in the main event with some of the best in the world solely because next week his team is taking on Dem Boys to see who will face Future Shock for their title, and Jay Briscoe just happened to be chosen for this contest. Really, that's the only thread in this match that has any real backstory, as the rest of this is very simple good guys versus bad guys type of stuff.
Reeves was able to follow the leads of his very vocal and provocative tag team partners, as Aries and Dickinson are just brilliant at working crowds and making every move important and effective. Aries is a true showman, working very crisply and having great exchanges with each of his opponents, while Dickinson thrives on being such an unorthodox, gritty, raw character who likes to fight but can really go on the mat and has a plethora of moves at his disposal.
Speaking of deep move sets, Alex Shelley and Delirious were a real treat to watch team up, as both men can work a crowd so well and get them behind them, while also having literally hundreds of moves at their disposal. Delirious was able to use his off beat antics to turn the tides in the match and keep it interesting, while the pure intensity of Jay Briscoe and his almost underrated skills really turned out to be an excellent match for his team. Jay was able to get the crowd involved just as much as his partners, which made this a successful match up on all fronts.
Jay was able to pick up the win for his team, besting one of the men he'll be squaring off with next week in Darren Reeves. Reeves has good agility and can work through spots pretty well, but for now, he comes off pretty run of the mill in terms of more cruiserweight style guys, but for this match, that's really what they needed and he's got plenty of room and time to grow, and a lot of great teachers around him. Darren would try to beat Jay with a Koji Clutch at one point, but Shelley would break it up with a Springboard Dropkick to the side of his head. Jay would go on to nail the dazed Reeves with a major exclamation point, lifting him up into a Military Press and then dropping him into a Death Valley Driver, which earned him the three count!
The fans left very happy with that, as the good guys took the win in what was a very well worked and entertaining match.
This show was meant to spark more localized interest in the product, hoping to prove there is a nice market that can earn this group a television deal, and with outings like this, the product is sure to be on TV screens across the region in no time.
