Interview with Rob Van Dam & Cody Rhodes
The interview started out with RVD coming out and saying how hard he has worked over the years, and how great it feels to be back on the top of the world. He said at Slamboree there was confusion, controversy, but in the end, HE is the new California Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion!
With that, out came Cody Rhodes. Cody said it was as 'CLEAR AS DAY' that he was not legitimately pined in the center of the ring. He said the review showed that he had his foot on the bottom rope, and that he should NOT have been counted down.
Cody said that he was taking this injustice to court. RVD said there was no need to be such a prick about losing. Everyone loses some times. RVD said he was willing to give Rhodes his re-match... TONIGHT!

Interview with: AJ Styles & The Miz
The Miz and Mike Knox came out and said that while things didn't go exactly as planned at Slamboree, in the end, AJ got his. Miz said he is exercising his return match clause that is in his contract tonight.
AJ came out and said that sure, in the end... at the end of the night he got his ass handed to him by some big ass ape, but not before he PINED The Miz in the center of the ring for the Television Championship!
The Miz said that AJ's tactics weren't working on him! He isn't going to get distracted, frustrated or deterred from his goal... regaining the Television Title!

Interview with: Chris Jericho & Paul Burchill
Paul was seen back stage and said that he and Chris have a mutual understanding. That understanding is that he is the better man! Jericho came in and said that, THAT is where the misunderstanding is at. He said that HE was the better man, better performer and better wrestler!
Paul chuckled a bit and said that in his old age, Chris can think anything he wants to, but the truth is in the numbers... Jericho said he is a multi-time WORLD champion... How many of these does Paul have?
Paul conceded that he doesn’t have any.... yet... BUT he is willing to bet a fairly large wager that he can win CPW gold within the next 45 days with ANY partner he picks.
Jericho said that is a mighty lofty bet. Jericho said he is willing to take Paul up on the wager... the “Gentlemen’s Wager”.
Paul smiled and said he would have his partner here at the next show. Chris said he couldn't wait and would be here, JUST to see what unlucky sap gets suckered into being the partner of the 'Pirate'!

Interview with: Alberto del Rio
ADR said that at Slamboree, he defied doctors’ orders. He said that he was fighting on the pure desire to defend his honor. He said that he disappointed the fans, his family, and himself. He said that the medical staff said he has torn rotor cuff in his shoulder that will require surgery. He will miss some time in the ring, but not away from the CPW action. He said he as applied for both a CPW referee’s license and a NWA referee license. He said he is going to start refereeing NWA World Title matches as the 'Second Official', as stated in the NWA Rule Book! He said is he going to make sure that the NWA World Champion, Mr. Mathews is going to be held to the high standard of the NWA World Champions of the past. He said that after his upcoming tag match, he would have surgery, and he would be back in the announcer booth for a few weeks, then he would be dawning the stripes until he is cleared to return to the ring.... to reclaim the NWA World Title... for the fans!
