NWA Hybrid Pro TV 17/05/2013[/u]
Welcome to Hybrid Pro TV. Dan Maff won the Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title last week, but it has been announced that he will be defending inside of a steel cage at Redemption against Sheamus. How will Maff respond, and what else will we see on Hybrid Pro TV tonight.
NWA Hybrid Pro owner Magnus D makes his way out to start the show.
Magnus: I want to come out here to apologise for the end of last weeks show. First of all I want to apologise to Karl Anderson for the tainted means by which his title run was ended, and assure him that he will receive a rematch in the very near future. Next I want to apologise to the fans who had to sit through that debacle, and I want to apologise to the viewers at home to for having to watch that. Finally I want to apologise to the locker room, you were put in a very difficult position by Kyle, and it is something that I will look to rectify in the near future. Thank you.
As Magnus turns to leave, The Prophecy make their way out and surround the ring, as Matthews gets in.
Matthews: Hey Magnus, that was very nice of you, apologising for our actions, you saved us a lot of trouble. Because you see, we wanted to apologise to everyone for last week. We are "very sorry". SORRY THAT WE DIDN'T DO EVEN MORE!
The fans boo as Matthews soaks in those boos, and launches another attack.
Matthews: Magnus, you can say all you want, but the truth is, it was you that caused all this. You were the one that gave Kyle Matthews his shot, you were the one who pushed him to the moon, and you were the one who rallied behind him to get a shot at this belt. If you hadn't, maybe the NWA wouldn't be in the predicament it is now with an antichrist for a world champion.
Magnus: How dare you try and pin this thing on me Kyle, after all I did for you. This is your responsibility Kyle, you let everyone in that locker room down who believed in you, you let down all your fans who wanted you to win that belt. And you've let yourself down, look at what you've become, your not the same talented young star you were when I first gave you your shot.
Matthews: And who's fault was that Magnus, the guy who ran with the ball he was given, or the guy who gave him the ball to run with in the first place?
Magnus: I'm warning you Kyle, do not try to pin this thing on me. I made you, and I can break you just as easily!
Matthews: Heh heh, thats a nice choice of words Magnus, break. Because you see, there is going to be some breaking going on, but not the sort you have in mind. No, the breaking going on IS ME BREAKING YOUR ARM!
MATTHEWS LOCKS MAGNUS IN THE HIDAKA LOCK! He has the owner of this company in the hold, but not for long as THE ENTIRE LOCKER ROOM MAKE THE SAVE! The Prophecy bail as officials tend to the owner, he doesn't look too hurt but that arm has likely suffered some damage. Is there no low The Prophecy won't stoop to?

Six Man Tag Team Match
The Pistols ("The Chaotic Idol" Matt Taven, "The FN Machine" Brian Cage and Samuray Del Sol) vs "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy and 2 Dudes ("The Real Showstopper" Michael Shane and "Big Rig" Brodie Lee)
A great choice for an opener here, as you had the exciting Pistols trio, all great wrestlers who can take to the air, and you had the fun 2 Dudes duo alongside the number one contender to the TV Title Jeff Hardy, who had Chris Sabin watching on from the crowd. Hardy went up top looking for the Swanton on Del Sol, but Chris Sabin started shouting to Hardy, distracting him for a brief moment. Hardy went for the move but missed, crashing into the canvas. Brian Cage then ran in, WEAPON X! 1-2-3, Brian Cage gets another massive win over a former NWA World Tag Team Champion!
Winners- The Pistols
Hardy shouts at Sabin in the crowd post match for costing him, but not before The Pistols get up in Sabin's face, as Taven takes the mic.
Taven: How often do we have to say this to people like you Sabin, do not interfere in our matches. Your very lucky that you managed to overcome the odds and win that TV belt at all Sabin, get involved in our matches again and that belt might belong to someone else sooner rather than later!
Taven leaves as Sabin looks a little perplexed, especially considering he effectively just helped them win this matchup.
"The Real" John Cena vs "The Generic Luchador" El Generico
This is a grudge match stemming from last week where Cena assaulted Generico post match with the ring bell, with Cena having displayed an almost sick enjoyment of breaking the rules and getting under the fans and wrestlers skins. He did the exact same thing here, breaking the rules constantly and shouting at the fans, with the referee warning him time and time again. Generico fought back the way only he can, with the chants of "OLE" from the fans, as he nailed all of his big moves. As he went for the Ole Kick, Cena grabbed him and nailed a Low Blow, but the ref didn't see it, 1-2-NO, GENERICO KICKS OUT! Cena lifts up Generico for an Attitude Adjustment, but Generico reverses, going for the Brainbuster. Cena pushes Generico off and blatantly kicks Generico in the balls, and the referee has no choice but to call for the DQ.
Winner- El Generico by DQ
Cena grabs a chair post match and NAILS Generico over the head with it. He then goes for the mask, AND RIPS GENERICO'S MASK OFF! He puts it on and mocks Generico, airplane dancing and shouting "OLE" over and over again as the fans boo him relentlessly. Cena leaves as Generico gets a towel to cover his unmasked face, this one just got very personal!
The Pistols of Mike Bennett and Tommaso Ciampa are out, ready for a tag team match against Randy Orton and his mystery partner. Richie Steamboat has accompanied them to ringside. Randy Orton comes out and has a mic with him.
Orton: When I was given the opportunity to pick my own partner, I figured that I could go the route of having no partner, and fight you chumps alone. But then I gave it some more though and figured, why only 1 partner. The way I see it there's 3 of you, and I can't face Matt Taven if I haven't defeated you all, I should have an additional partner, and we can make it a six man tag. Thats why my partners for tonight will be Josh Raymond and Shiima Xion, The Lightning Express!
The Lightning Express come out as The Pistols are a bit thrown off here, they weren't expecting this. It looks like this tag match has turned into an impromptu six man tag!

Six Man Tag Team Match
"The Viper" Randy Orton and The Lightning Express ("Pure Lightning" Josh Raymond and Shiima Xion) vs The Pistols (Richie Steamboat, "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett and "The Project" Tommaso Ciampa)
There's no denying that the arrival of The Lightning Express, The Pistols opponents for the Tag Team Titles at Redemption, threw the champs off their game here, they looked flustered, and Raymond and Xion took full advantage with that great teamwork of theirs, and combined with Orton's many talents they looked great. The Pistols were not to be easily denied though, they to had sharp teamwork, even if they seemed a little off tonight, plus with the power and mat skills they have combined, they were always going to be a threat. Following a period of isolation on Xion, he made the tag to Raymond and Orton who both cleaned house. One RKO on Steamboat later and Orton pinned him 1-2-3, and he continues his path towards facing Matt Taven, Brian Cage being the only man in his way!
Winners- Randy Orton and The Lightning Express
"The War Machine" Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring and gets the mic.
Lesnar: Broken arm or no broken arm, I want a match to warm up for my tag team match against Kyle Matthews and Bray Wyatt. So I issue an open challenge to everyone in the locker room, come and face me if you think you can take down "The War Machine"
The challenge is answered by "The One Man Band" Heath Slater, are you kidding me? Slater takes the mic.
Slater: I'll accept your challenge "War Machine", because your a cripple with a broken arm. If a midget like our champ can beat you then I've got nothing to worry about. The win is coming home to the greatest wrestler of all time, THE ONE MAN BAND!
Lesnar answers this with a Clothesline, taking Slater down, and the match is on.
"The War Machine" Brock Lesnar vs "The One Man Band" Heath Slater
Lesnar picks up Slater's near lifeless body and drops him with the F5, 1-2-3. RIP Heath Slater!
Winner- Brock Lesnar
Lesnar lifts up Slater again post match and drops him with another F5, then yells at the camera "I WILL BE THE NEXT NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION". Based on this you would be hard pressed to deny him that honour.
If Walker Wins He Faces Dolph Ziggler at Redemption
"The Shooter" Vordell Walker vs "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters w/"The Reflection of Perfection" Dolph Ziggler
Walker is determined to face Dolph Ziggler at Redemption for his North American Title, and if he could defeat Chris Master here he would get that shot. Masters however was not going to simply lie down for Walker, he was a real challenge thanks to that size and power advantage, making it look almost too easy at times in there. Masters however had an ego, constantly stopping to pose to the fans instead of capitalising on Walker being down, and he paid for it when Walker scored a knockout punch taking Masters to the canvas. Walker fought back, and Ziggler got desperate, leaping onto the apron to distract Walker. Masters charged and missed Walker, nailing Ziggler with a Forearm! Walker locks the Juji-Gatame, and Masters taps out almost immediately!
Winner- Vordell Walker
So this means Dolph Ziggler must now defend his belt against Vordell Walker at Redemption. How will Ziggler deal with the challenge of "The Shooter"?
Jimmy Bower has caught up with Karl Anderson
Bower: Karl, obviously your disappointed about losing your belt last week, but you will get a rematch in the near future according to Magnus D. What are your thoughts at this time?
Anderson: Obviously a shot at the belt is a good thing, but first things first I want some payback. Prophecy, bring two of your best to Redemption, and I'll bring a surprise for a tag team match. And you'll better be ready for a fight, because I'm going to kick both of your asses and then get my belt back!
Anderson storms off, as no nonsense as ever. Who will Anderson's "surprise partner" be?
Grudge Match, Former Partners Collide
"The Lone Wolf" Paul London vs Spanky
These two are former NWA World Tag Team Champions, but following botched interference from Spanky in his match with American Dragon in Ring Warriors, London turned on Spanky and ended their team. Despite this, London was the default fan favourite, as Spanky is seen as an outsider by the fans here while they have been cheering London since his arrival in Hybrid Pro. The fans got to witness a great matchup between these two, it had the same crisp high flying action you would have seen from them ten years ago, yet with equally good mat wrestling developed over the years, these two have become great all rounders. The match went right to the wire, as Spanky went for Sliced Bread, but London reversed and took Spanky down with a Dropsault, following it up with the London's Calling to pin Spanky and win the match!
Winner- Paul London
Post match London shouted that "this is what he's going to do to Dragon at Redemption". Will London get a win over the American Dragon at Redemption, or will Dragon well and truly prove he is the better man?
The Prophecy ("The Antichrist of Professional Wrestling" Kyle Matthews, "The Grim Reaper" Dan Maff, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and "The Angel of Death" Azrieal) w/Bray Wyatt vs "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson, Sheamus "Fella" and The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe)
Anderson and Sheamus' strained alliance continued in this contest, as Anderson was determined to get revenge on The Prophecy for costing him his title belt to Dan Maff last week. As for The Briscoes, well they just love to fight and volunteered to be in the corner of Sheamus and Anderson for a good brawl. And a brawl it was, there was very little actual wrestling here, as instead we got fists and kicks aplenty, not to mention some weapon use that the referee allowed. Bray Wyatt got involved constantly to ensure The Prophecy kept a stronghold of this match, but it backfired when as Matthews and Maff held Anderson for a Splash Mountain in the corner Anderson pulled Maff in the way and Wyatt nailed Maff! Anderson took out Wyatt but Matthews grabbed Anderson, locking him in the Hidaka Lock! Anderson somehow made the ropes, and Matthews was getting frustrated. He picks up Anderson to go for something, BUT ANDERSON GETS THE STUN GUN! 1-2-3, KARL ANDERSON JUST PINNED THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!
Winners- Karl Anderson, Sheamus and The Briscoes
Post match as Anderson and the rest leave celebrating this massive victory, Johnny Gargano comes out onto the ramp.
Gargano: Kyle Matthews, do you see what just happened? You lost clean in the middle of the ring, and you can't blame this on Bray Wyatt. No the blame lies with you Kyle, you've become obsessed with that World Title belt, and its consuming you just like the World Junior Heavyweight belt consumed me. I want to help you Kyle, your not the man I once battled in the best match of my career in NEXT, you've lost your way just like I did, and I don't want to see you lose it all. I can save you Kyle if you'll just let me.
Matthews gets a mic.
Matthews: Listen Johnny, I am the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, while you are a loser who's been tossed aside by everyone he trusted. As long as I hold this belt and the power here in the NWA, I have no reason to listen to a FORMER World champ. You want to "save me"? Make your own group and come and get me!
The show ends with Gargano and Matthews staring each other down, could we see Matthews/Gargano II in the near future? And will Gargano form his own group? We will hopefully find out some of these things next week on Hybrid Pro TV!
