The show opens to applause from the crowd as NWA President, Dustin Smith is standing in the middle of the ring with a mic in hand.[/i]
Dustin: Ladies and Gentlemen, I used to be the owner of NWA Impact but decided to move to Georgia, a place that was once a pro wrestling hot bed. You folks were soo loyal and now I’d like to bring quality pro wrestling back to this state! I’ve been thinking long and hard, and realize that as NWA President that I should be a strong presence in the Alliance! So this is NWA Empire, there are no promotional titles in this company. We will bring in the alliance wide champions as much as possible; in fact tonight Alex Shelley will defend his Junior Heavyweight title against Brian Kendrick! Now I have a bit of personal business to address, if any you remember I was put on the shelf until tonight by a man named Bobby Fish. Bobby I’m not letting it go, in fact I brought you back just because I want to punish you for your actions, that’s why TONIGHT you will face off against KANE!
Mike Tenay and Ricky Morton were feeding off the electricity of the opening night, and the electricity kept flowing in this match. This was a match between three talented high flyers from different parts of the globe. Fox and Dutt would form a shaky alliance to take on Mistico, but Dutt eventually turned on Fox and ended up getting killed with karma as Mistico would slap on La Mistica forcing Dutt to submit. The match continued at a frantic pace with both men trying to make a name for them self as the winner of the first match in NWA Empire history. AR Fox met the same fate as Mistico locked in La Mistica making Fox tap out as well.
Konley is so damn arrogant, and Petey Williams wasn’t having any of it. Williams would get frustrated with the skill of Konley who can actually match holds with Williams. Konley would play to the crowd at every chance he could get and eventually paid for it as Williams took advantage. Williams tried for the Canadian destroyer but Konley would power out and hit a huge powerbomb soon after putting a foot on the chest of Williams in disrespect. Williams was fuming at this point and Konley made him forcing Williams to submit to the sweetest submission you’ve ever seen.
Morrison sees himself as bigger than NWA Empire, with his movie star good looks and he’s million dollar smile. Whitmer is a roughneck from Kentucky who doesn’t do anything pretty. This was a clash of styles and personalities. Whitmer looked pretty happy to put a beating on the pretty boy of pro wrestling. Whitmer took the fight to the outside when Morrison tried to take a powder to get away from the Buzz Saw. Morrison was able to take a short cut, dropping Whitmer across the guard rail throat first with a drop toe hold. Morrison can scrap, as well as fly as he hit a moonsault off the guard rail getting a nice pop from the crowd. Morrison wanted to end this match, just to stop taking a beating at the hands of Whitmer, nailing his twisting split legged moonsault but only picking up a two count. Whitmer got a second wind punishing Morrison with blistering chops, building momentum and dropping Morrison with a reverse piledriver! Whitmer drug himself to the top rope looking to take too much time but was still able to hit a frog splash to pick up a great win.
The usually confident strong style athlete, Bobby Fish looked concerned. The ring posts would explode with fire as the lights changed to crimson. The ominous organ music would play as the masked monster Kane skulked to the ring tugging on his glove. Fish was all over Kane, as soon as Kane put one foot in the ring Fish would target it with kicks trying to make a weakness to exploit. Kane would shove him off like a pesky child, but Fish would come right back attacking the leg of Kane. Fish did everything he could but Kane would no sell most of it and plant Fish with a huge chokeslam to pick up a scary win. Tonight Kane has returned to form.
The south loves ‘dem boys’ and they love the south! The crowd was huge for the Briscoes as they went against the technically sound team of Pure Dynamite. This match was a fun one to watch as the Briscoes got a chance to play to the crowd a lot and it got the crowd very loud. The match ended with Jay hitting his J-Driller on Walters to pick up the win.
These guys were very recently in NWA Ring Warriors together, and Kendrick seemed pretty annoyed by being passed around recently. This match was incredible as Shelley helped to set up Kendrick as a major player in this new promotion. Kendrick got a chance to showcase and looked like he might get the win going for sliced bread but Shelley would counter dropping Kendrick on the top rope, hitting a jumping enziguri to lay back Kendrick in a tree of woe. Shelley would come off the ropes with a head of steam nailing a dropkick to the face of Kendrick nearly knocking him picking up a long two count. The match continued with a few more near falls with Shelley having to hit the shell shock, transitioning into the border city stretch but Kendrick would fight out, getting rolled up tight by Alex to barely hold him down for a three count.
This match would decide who would face off against Kyle Matthews at a later date for the NWA World Heavyweight title. Abyss and Sheik eliminated themselves due to a count out, as Sheik would eventually pull out a spike from his boot to use on the forehead of Abyss at ringside. Security was eventually able to separate the two as Show and Cena would face off in the ring. Big Show is soo powerful and he would batter Cena with headbutts and clubbing blows as Cena fought to keep himself alive. Show tried for a chokeslam but Cena would slip free and hit a huge belly to back suplex on Show making the ring shake. Cena looked pumped waving his hand In front of his face, before nailing Show with the five knuckle shuffle. Cena would pump his high tops getting ready to give Show a big FU, but Show would fight out blasting Cena with a knock-out punch but Cena was able to kick out! Big Show would drop the straps roaring, but Cena was able to fight out of another chokeslam attempt, this time Cena would transition into the FU slamming Show to the mat for a three count!
Cena would celebrate in the ring motioning a title around his waist. But Cena doesn’t seem to comprehend what’s to come… When the Prophecy arrive, Cena has one a chance to topple Kyle Matthews, but can Cena handle what comes with it?
