Another promo heavy show here, but it was kind of necesarry again. Anyways, enjoy the show.
NWA Hybrid Pro TV 24/05/2013[/u]
We start the show with "The Antichrist of Professional Wrestling" Kyle Matthews, alongside the rest of The Prophecy, making their way to the ring. Matthews has something to say as per usual.
Matthews: For those of you lucky enough to be able to tune into South Beach's debut TV episode, I proved once and for all that Christopher Daniels is completely unworthy of a shot at my belt. I called the match right down the middle, and when it was all said and done, Bully Ray pinned Daniels and dashed his dreams. Then we sacrificed him to the heavens, we sent "The Fallen Angel" back where he belongs in the same way the great saviour went, on a cross. But this time, he won't be rising again!
The fans boo, and Matthews isn't done.
Matthews: Apparently the TV executives got a bit hot under the collar with our actions, but this Sunday on iPPV there won't be anything stopping us doing the same thing to Alberto Del Rio and Brock Lesnar. When we defeat them the NWA will have nothing left, and it will be time to kill it DEAD!
Johnny Gargano comes out onto the ramp to interrupt.
Gargano: Kyle Matthews, if you think that the NWA won't have a thing left your very much mistaken. You see, I'm going to take up your challenge and form my own group, to help you and The Prophecy see the errors of your ways. If you hadn't become so consumed with that belt I wouldn't have to do this, but I have no other choice to save you from yourself!
Gargano throws down the mic and leaves, as Matthews and The Prophecy laugh and mock being scared. Clearly they don't see Gargano's threats being particularly serious, but could they be wrong to dismiss him so easily? Will Gargano be able to form a group that can stop The Prophecy? We will find out soon.
Proving Grounds
"The Real American" Jack Swagger vs Chad Collyer
Collyer was given another shot to shine here in Proving Grounds against the re-debuting Jack Swagger, but outside of some holds early on Swagger didn't give him any kind of an opportunity to shine. Indeed it was Swagger who looked the part, his great mat wrestling talent coming through here and he looks like he might start fulfilling that great potential of his. One Swagger Bomb later and Swagger picked up the win.
Winner- Jack Swagger
The team calling themselves "The Perfect Masterpiece", Dolph Ziggler and his bodyguard Chris Masters, came out to the ring.
Ziggler: Oh yeah baby, the Perfect Masterpiece are in the house! People have been doubting my bodyguard Chris Masters after he lost to Vordell Walker last week, and I say that its foolish to write off this man, I mean look at those muscles, have you ever seen someone more intimidating in all your life? I don't think so. So tonight we want to prove just how perfect we are by challenging any tag team to a match, so if you think your up to the challenge, get out here and face us!
The challenge is answered by 2 Dudes, Michael Shane and Brodie Lee, who will certainly prove to be a challenge, especially considering that they share a very similar dynamic to The Perfect Masterpiece.

The Perfect Masterpiece ("The Reflection of Perfection" Dolph Ziggler and "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters) vs 2 Dudes ("The Real Showstopper" Michael Shane and "Big Rig" Brodie Lee)
The Dudes have returned, well they never left really but have been rehired after being let go last week. They faced The Perfect Masterpiece, who perhaps took their opponents too lightly here, mocking Shane and Lee. They soon paid for this as Shane managed to get the better of Ziggler aerially (even if on the mat he was a level or two below Ziggler), while Lee and Masters duked it out with power. Masters actually had a slight weight advantage, and tossed lee around with ease, but Lee had the definite size advantage and used that to his advantage. Lee and Masters brawl got more and more heated as they went to the outside, while Ziggler setup for the Zig Zag in the ring. But Vordell Walker ran in, grabbed Ziggler by the hair and pulled him down to the canvas, distracting Ziggler who shouted and Walker! Shane is back up as Ziggler turns around, SWEET SHANE MUSIC! 1-2-3, SHANE JUST PINNED THE NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION!
Winners- 2 Dudes
Ziggler looks horrified at suffering this loss as Shane celebrates, and Walker laughs from the ramp. But the real action is happening at ringside as Lee has Masters in position, BRODIE BOMB THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Masters' credibility has definitely not been helped here, and you have to think Masters will want revenge very soon. Maybe we will see it at Redemption?
An unmasked El Generico comes out to the ring. Generico had his mask ripped off by John Cena last week, an action that saw Cena fired from Hybrid Pro.
Generico: OLE!
The fans OLE back.
Generico: No, I can't keep up this charade. The truth is, I'm not Mexican, nor am I an "Generic Luchador", and when John Cena ripped off my mask he exposed that. My real name is Sami Zayn, and I'm from Canada. While people may be upset that I'm unmasking, I feel that I no longer have an identity to protect, and that its the right time to show the real me. It may upset some of you who loved El Generico, but I hope that those of you who cheered me under the mask will cheer me even more now you can see my face and my emotions, and that with time Sami Zayn will become an even bigger star. Thanks for your time.
The newly named Sami Zayn leaves as the fans give a somewhat mixed reaction some cheering through respect for the man, others booing through respect for the character he once played being thoroughly dropped.

8 Man Tag Team Match
The Pistols (Samuray Del Sol, "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett, "The Project" Tommaso Ciampa and Richie Steamboat) vs Chris Sabin, "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy and The Lightning Express (Josh Raymond and Shiima Xion)
Raymond and Xion will challenge Mike Bennett and Tommaso Ciampa for the Tag Team Titles in 2 days time, meanwhile Sabin has a grudge to settle with The Pistols after last week. Meanwhile, Hardy has his own grudge to settle with Sabin, the two men facing off in 2 days for the TV Title, so they were far from friends when it came to teaming with each other. Indeed while the teamwork of The Pistols was flawless as always, their opposition struggled when The Lightning Express weren't in there, miscommunication was rife and they looked a level or two below The Pistols. Finally Sabin and Hardy snapped and started brawling around ringside, leaving The Lightning Express at a 4 on 2 disadvantage, and they couldn't defeat those kind of odds. Xion was dropped with a Box Office Smash which was followed by a 450 from Del Sol to pin him for 3.
Winners- The Pistols
Post match the brawl between Sabin and Hardy continued, with officials rushing out to seperate the two. This one has gotten heated in a hurry.
"The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson is backstage with our new backstage interviewer, Sean Waltman.
Waltman: Karl, tonight you get the shot of a lifetime, a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight Title of Kyle Matthews. What are your thoughts ahead of this massive match?
Anderson: There's nothing to say other than I will defeat you Kyle, and that belt will belong to me son. So you'd better shine it up real nice before I kick you and the entire Prophecy's ass tonight!
Before Anderson can add anything else, Johnny Gargano comes in.
Gargano: Karl, I know you want to become the champ, and I can help you. Your an amazing fighter but against a group like that there's no way you can beat them all on your own. Let me help you Karl, I can be in your corner, and this Sunday I can be your tag partner, if in exchange you join the good fight against The Prophecy as a part of my group. What do you say?
Anderson: I don't need your help son, I can beat The Prophecy on my own. When I win the belt tonight I'll run them out of town, and your services will no longer be required. Stay out of my business!
Anderson leaves as Gargano looks rather perplexed by this. His first attempt at recruitment has clearly failed.
"The Viper" Randy Orton vs "The FN Machine" Brian Cage
Cage has been nothing short of an unstoppable force since he joined Hybrid Pro, he is undefeated as not a single wrestler has been able to make him tap or pin him, while Orton has been tearing through The Pistols to get to their leader, Matt Taven. Cage was an entirely different prospect to what Orton had faced before, he matched Orton on the mat, and was able to overpower Orton to, meaning Orton had to resort to his fists to keep up with Cage. Orton had unpredictability working in his favour it has to be said, yet this still wasn't truly enough, as Cage reversed an RKO attempt into a vicious German Suplex, following it with Weapon X to pin Orton clean in the middle of the ring, wow!
Winner- Brian Cage
Post match as Orton looks on stunned, Matt Taven comes out.
Taven: Aww, thats too bad Randy, you came so close, yet your still so far away from facing me. But hey, I'm a fair man Randy and Brian is on a bit of a roll right now, so I'm going to give you an opportunity to get your match with me this Sunday. However, as you didn't beat Brian either, its going to be in a Handicap match. And if you don't win Randy, you must leave Hybrid Pro forever! Do you accept, or are you going to chicken out!
Orton pounds the mat with rage and shouts "YES" to signal he is more than willing to accept the challenge. Could this however be one step too far for Randy, taking on both Taven and Cage at the same time? or will he defeat both men in the same match and prove that the current generation is better than the future?
Sheamus "Fella" vs "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero w/The Prophecy
Sheamus challenges Dan Maff for the NWA Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title this Sunday inside of a steel cage, but he had to deal with a man making his singles debut in Dinero who wanted to deal as much damage to Sheamus as he could before that matchup. That was no easy feat as Sheamus had the size and weight advantage, combining power with those big fists and boots of his to toss him around with ease. Dinero however had the advantage of The Prophecy at ringside, who constantly interfered, and with the number so far in their favour nobody was stupid enough to come out to even the odds. After a period of control on the mat by Dinero, Sheamus fought back and got ready for a Brogue Kick, but before he could hit it DAN MAFF NAILS HIM WITH THE HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE! The ref calls for a DQ as Sheamus is cost a clean win which would boost him going into Sunday.
Winner- Sheamus by DQ
The Prophecy start to beat down Sheamus, but Maff shouts at them to stop. He then says "save him for me on Sunday", and Matthews loves this, ordering The Prophecy to kneel before Maff. Maff holds up his belt as The Prophecy practically worship him and the fans boo.
"The Lone Wolf" Paul London is backstage with Sean Waltman.
Waltman: Paul, you have a massive matchup this Sunday against American Dragon. What are your thoughts ahead of that match?
London: Its a big match for me Sean, you see in order for me to make progress in my career, to make that next step towards NWA gold, I have to defeat American Dragon this Sunday. If I don't, everything he said about my career rings true, he really is superior and I may as well give up my dream of NWA singles gold. But if I defeat American Dragon clean in the middle of the ring this Sunday, I will prove that I am ready to make the next step, to challenge the likes of Alex Shelley, Dolph Ziggler and Kyle Matthews, and prove I am no longer professional wrestling's afterthought!
Waltman: One final question Paul, you'll have seen that Dragon is currently suffering from some memory loss. How do you feel this will affect your match?
London: There's only 1 thing I have to say about your memory loss Dragon: you might have amnesia but I'm not gonna go easy on ya!
London leaves chuckling to himself as Waltman shakes his head, that was a pretty poor quality joke from London.
NWA World Heavyweight Title Match
"The Antichrist of Professional Wrestling" Kyle Matthews vs "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson
If there is one thing you can rely on with Kyle Matthews, its that he will take a big match like this as seriously as it gets, he did not underestimate Karl Anderson one little bit and wrestled the former Hybrid Pro champ with the same efficiency that won him the belt in the first place. But in this, Matthews's first singles matchup since becoming "The Antichrist", you could see how much his style has changed: gone are the flashy moves and the crisp wrestling holds, replaced with attitude and a real sense of wanting to hurt, even cripple an opponent like Anderson. He went after his arm relentlessly, trying to rip it out of its socket, with the Hidaka Lock in mind all the time. Anderson is one tough SOB however, and battled away, taking the fight to Matthews for much of this matchup with his fists and with anything else he could get his hands on. And Anderson came as close as you can possibly come to winning this, he nailed the Gun Stun on Matthews, but Matthews used his last bit of energy to smack the referee with a punch as he went to count Matthews down, and the ref had no choice but to call for a DQ.
Winner- Karl Anderson by DQ
Anderson starts stomping away on Matthews out of frustration, this match was his until Matthews whacked the ref. The Prophecy run out and are after Anderson, they surround the ring as Anderson prepares for them. Azrieal climbs up top and leaps at Anderson, MID AIR GUN STUN! Wyatt and Dinero charge in, but Anderson ducks underneath as they bounce off the ropes, DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! Maff tries to attack from behind, but Anderson grabs him and looks like a man possessed. GUN STUN! Anderson's taking The Prophecy out on his own, BUT KYLE MATTHEWS ATTACKS FROM BEHIND, HIDAKA LOCK! Anderson screams in pain as Kyle has the hold fully locked, but the lights go out? A Message appears on the screen.
"ON SUNDAY, PAYBACK BEGINS!"
Matthews is distracted as the lights come back on, AND BROCK LESNAR IS IN THE RING! F5 TO MATTHEWS! Lesnar grabs the World Title belt and holds it up, signalling that this will be his as soon as he defeats Matthews this Sunday. We will see if he can do it then, see you at Redemption folks!
