NWA Hybrid Pro TV 31/05/2013
The Prophecy, lead by Kyle Matthews, make their way to the ring to start the show. As always, Matthews has a lot to say.
Matthews: Well NWA, your challengers are falling away faster and faster. Maybe it was premature of me to say that the NWA is dead, but there are only two men left for me to face, and those are Bully Ray and whoever Ring Warriors decide they want sentenced to death. Once they are gone, there is nobody left for me to defend this belt against, and then the NWA will be dead forever!
Matthews is interrupted by Karl Anderson.
Anderson: You talk a lot of talk boy, but when it gets down to it you can't fight as well as I can. The way I see it, your little Prophecy screwed me out of the NWA World Heavyweight Title, and I want my rematch tonight!
Matthews: Aww, did my little Prophecy do that? I'm so sorry, I mean we could have crippled you like we did Christopher Daniels. So tell you what, I'll grant your rematch tonight....against Dan Maff for the Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title!
Matthews and The Prophecy laugh as Anderson fumes from the ramp, while it is something that Anderson finally gets a rematch for the Hybrid Pro belt that he unfairly lost, his eyes were on something much bigger. Can Anderson win back his title tonight?

Tournament For Tomorrow Qualifier
Rich Swann vs Aaron Epic vs Louis Lyndon vs Drew Gulak
In our first Tournament for Tomorrow matchup, we have 4 top competitors vying for the 2 spots in the tournament. Swann and Lyndon were the aerial specialists here, taking big risks to wow the crowd, and Swann in particular impressed with his innovative manoeuvres. Gulak and Epic on the other hand took a more mat based approach, with Gulak showing a mean streak and major determination to take the win for himself. Epic was first to go, as Gulak put him in the Gu Lock and made him tap out. Swann then eliminated Lyndon after a Chicken Fried Driver, meaning Swann and Gulak advance.
Winners- Rich Swann and Drew Gulak
Post match as Swann celebrated, Gulak attacked from behind, putting him in the Gu Lock and refusing to let go. Officials ran out to get Gulak off Swann, and Gulak has shown that he wants to win at any cost. He will be hard to beat.

Six Man Mayhem
"Very European" Antonio Cesaro vs Zack Sabre Jr vs "The Last Dragon" ACH vs TaDarius Thomas vs "The Greek God" Papadon vs "God's Gift" QT Marshall
As is traditional in Hybrid Pro, the debutants all face each other in a match, and this time it was a Six Man Mayhem. And it was wall to wall action as these guys put on quite a show, you had the incredible flying talents of ACH to contend with to start, then the brutal uppercuts and freakish power of Cesaro, a man with a point to prove. Thomas's capoeira background helped him bring something totally different to the fray as we've seen from him in the past, and Papadon and Marshall's approach can only be described as egotistical, hitting basic moves and posing like it was the greatest thing ever. It may have been Sabre however that truly stole the show, his technical skills shined against Cesaro and outclassed everyone, and the man looks like one to watch. It was the bickering of The Greek Gods that lead to our finish, as Papadon and Marshall argued over who got to pin a downed Thomas, then Cesaro attacked Papadon from behind with an Uppercut. One Neutralizer on Marshall later and he was out for 3.
Winner- Antonio Cesaro
Sami Zayn vs Prince Devitt
Zayn and Devitt are both new to Hybrid Pro, with Zayn unmasking from his El Generico mask last week to genuine shock from a lot of fans. And these two put on a stellar contest for us, with Zayn displaying all of his usual high flying skill, while Devitt tried to ground Zayn and work the arm, setting up for a Devitt's End perhaps. Zayn was a bit too much for Devitt on this occasion however, getting the 3 count after the same Springboard Tornado DDT he used on Sunday.
Winner- Sami Zayn
Karl Anderson is getting ready for the match against Dan Maff when Johnny Gargano and BJ Whitmer walk in.
Gargano: Karl, I know you want The Prophecy, but you can't do this alone, they are too strong. You don't trust me but we want to help. BJ has joined the cause but to take the fight to The Prophecy we need you.
Anderson: Listen boy, I don't need your help, and I never will. if you get involved tonight, I won't be responsible for the beating you or BJ take. Stay out of my business!
Anderson leaves as Gargano shakes his head. While I understand that Anderson wants to do this for himself, continuing to refuse help in this situation could come back to haunt him.
"The Lone Wolf" Paul London vs Samuray Del Sol
This was a showcase match, essentially an opportunity for London and Del Sol to show what they've got, while Del Sol got another opportunity to step in there with a veteran to try and prove The Pistols are the future. London seemed unconcerned, as all he wanted was to get another win on his path to redemption and gold. After a match filled with high risk moves, London came off the top with a London's Calling, and Del Sol was down for 3.
Winner- Paul London
Grudge Match
Chris Masters w/Dolph Ziggler vs Michael Shane w/Brodie Lee
Lee pretty much challenged Masters on Shane's behalf after an interesting promo exchange between himself and Shane a couple of days ago, with Masters taking offense at being seen as a nothing opponent. He took the fight to Shane for much of this, using that power of his to dominate the much smaller Shane, who had to rely on his speed to keep up with Masters here. Ziggler grabbed a chair as Masters looked to send him over for a chairshot, but an opening appeared for Masters to lock in the Masterlock. He locked it in and Shane tried to back Masters up into the ropes. Ziggler, not even looking at who he was hitting, used the chair and accidentally smacked Masters in the back with it! This allowed Shane to escape and hit Sweet Shane Music, getting the 3 count in the process!
Winner- Michael Shane
Masters and Ziggler argue as Shane and Lee celebrate, the 2 Dudes have definitely proven that they are worthy of facing the champ for his belt. When will we see these matchups?
The Prophecy of Bray Wyatt, D'Angelo Dinero and Azrieal are out, as Wyatt takes the mic.
Wyatt: Brothers and sisters, it seems that a force of sinners want to try and upstage us, and take away what we have worked so hard to obtain. Well you can rest assured that these sinners will be wiped from the earth by us tonight, and when its all said and done Johnny Gargano and BJ Whitmer will burn in hell with my dear old daddy!
Johnny Gargano and BJ Whitmer come out, but Gargano has a mic.
Gargano: it was nice of you to suggest there was only two of us Bray Wyatt, you see I knew you would try to play the numbers game, which is why I've done a bit of recruiting. I've signed a man to my cause who was wronged by your antichrist Kyle Matthews, a man who was his best friend only to be shunned. In fact, such was the level of Matthews' betrayal, this man lost his job because of what he did. That man is our newest member, please welcome JACK SWAGGER!
The fans explode as Swagger makes his way out, and The Prophecy look more than a bit surprised. What was originally going to be a tag team match has now become a six man tag!
Johnny Gargano, "The Real American" Jack Swagger and BJ Whitmer vs The Prophecy ("The Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt, "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and "The Angel of Death" Azrieal)
The Prophecy were not expecting this, and the addition of Swagger to the fold has given them something to think about. With Gargano and Swagger having teamed previously as part of The Revolution, their teamwork shone through here, with BJ's brawling style only adding fuel to the fire. The Prophecy however regrouped and showed why they are the force they are, as Wyatt used that power of his, Dinero threw some fist and wore down Gargano on the mat, while Azrieal took risk after risk to aid their efforts. Gargano avoided one said risk from Azrieal, and used that to make the tag to Whitmer and Swagger, who cleaned house on The Prophecy. And one Swagger Bomb later, Azrieal was out for the count and Gargano's group picks up a big win.
Winners- Johnny Gargano, Jack Swagger and BJ Whitmer
The Pistols are backstage with Sean Waltman
Waltman: Matt Taven, you requested this mic time, whats on your mind?
Taven: What's on my mind? Well first of all, what are you doing interviewing me old man. Shouldn't you be in a retirement home somewhere with the rest of DX.
Bennett: Yeah, get out of our faces old man Waltman.
Waltman: In case you've forgotten, I beat you last time I was in the ring with you Bennett, and I'm more than happy to do it again. I didn't come here to be insulted, do your own interview.
Waltman leaves as Taven takes the mic.
Taven: Now that the old loser has left, lets get down to business. You see, The Pistols don't just want to prove they are the best group of young talent in Hybrid Pro, they want to prove they are the best group of young superstars in the entire NWA. Thats why I'm issuing a challenge to a promotion filled with wrestlers we know we are better than: NWA South Beach. Pick two of our best to face two of your best for the NWA Hybrid Pro Tag Team Titles on the next South Beach show, and we will prove why our brand of sex, drugs and rock 'n' wrestling is better than anything you can throw at us!
NWA Hybrid Pro Television Title Match
Chris Sabin vs "The FN Machine" Brian Cage
Sabin has been a solid champion, but in Brian Cage he was up against a man on the very top of his game, and a man undefeated in singles competition in Hybrid Pro in the bargain. Cage's power was difficult to contend with, as was his mat skill, but Sabin was able to match him in the wrestling department at least. Combing his speed with that he kept up nicely with Cage, which is no easy feat at this point in time. Cage however is a force to be reckoned with, and after nailing a Weapon X, he pinned Sabin 1-2-3 and ended his run as TV Champion!
Winner- NEW NWA Hybrid Pro Television Champion, Brian Cage
Cage celebrates as the rest of The Pistols come out to join him/ Say what you want about them, but they are all tremendously talented, and Cage is a standout, a man who has all the potential in the world to be something special.
NWA Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title Rematch
"The Grim Reaper" Dan Maff vs "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson w/The Prophecy
Anderson was owed a rematch against Maff after the disgusting way Maff won the belt in the first place, via the interference of The Prophecy. Anderson had a big problem this time though, The Prophecy were all at ringside, and he had no allies to help him out. And as tough a man and a wrestler as Anderson is, he can't fight 5 men on his own, so it was only going to be a matter of time before he went down. To be fair, Anderson got a fair amount of offense in on The Prophecy, coming close to winning the belt with a Gun Stun, but Matthews put Maff's foot on the ropes on the outside. As Anderson shouted at Matthews, Maff dropped Anderson with a Half Nelson Suplex, then followed it with a brutal Burning Hammer to pin Anderson and retain the title.
Winner- Dan Maff
Post match the entire Prophecy run in and beat down Anderson 5 on 1,busting him open in the process, and nobody is here to help Anderson, he is all on his own as he wanted and has effectively been sent to die. Wyatt and Maff are holding Anderson as Dinero goes under the ring for something. OH MY GOD, ITS A NOOSE. Azrieal puts it around Anderson's neck, and Matthews and Dinero instruct Maff and Wyatt to toss him over the ropes. They do it then pull Anderson up by the neck, AND HANG ANDERSON FROM THE ROPES, THIS IS SICK! The show ends with Anderson struggling to get free, blood pouring from his forehead as The Prophecy continue to perform this sick ritual.
The Prophecy, lead by Kyle Matthews, make their way to the ring to start the show. As always, Matthews has a lot to say.
