NWA Hybrid TV 14/06/2013
Tournament for Tomorrow
Cedric Alexander vs Mike Sydal vs Pinkie Sanchez vs Shane Hollister
In this one you had 4 guys who could not only take to the air, but who could wrestle on the mat, meaning that for every high spot we had we got some quality wrestling to match. Sanchez, who was not a crowd favourite following what fans perceived as a poor run the first time he was in Hybrid Pro was eliminated first, as he fell to a Standing Moonsault from Sydal. Hollister then scored the second fall and the second spot in the tournament by making Alexander tap to the Iowa Leglock.
Winners- Mike Sydal and Shane Hollister

Sami Zayn vs "Very European" Antonio Cesaro
Zayn and Cesaro had issues in the 4 way TV Title number one contenders match last week, getting into a very heated brawl that has lead to this matchup. This one was a bit more calm, with the focus being on the in-ring action as opposed to an all out brawl, yet these two still wrestled with a great degree of intensity and it was far from a good spirited matchup. Zayn looked like he had this sewn up as he went for a Springboard Tornado DDT, but Cesaro shoved him off and blatantly kicked him in the balls for the DQ!
Winner- Sami Zayn by DQ
Cesaro picks up Zayn, and drops him to the canvas with the Neutralizer, before posing as the fans boo. I guess Cesaro just proved he can't get a clean win over someone like Zayn, this is far from over.
"The Chaotic Idol" Matt Taven vs Zack Sabre Jr
Taven has not been wrestling regularly recently, so decided to step into the ring with another up and coming competitor in Sabre, a man who has impressed since he joined Hybrid pro even if he doesn't have a ton of wins to his name yet. The two were quite evenly matched overall, Sabre had a slight edge on the mat as one of wrestling most talented young technicians, but Taven had a slight size advantage meaning he could overpower Sabre. Taven ended up picking up a solid win in this back and forth matchup, dropping Sabre with the Taven Effect for 3.
Winner- Matt Taven
Post match Taven gets a mic.
Taven: Zack, I'm very impressed with your in-ring ability, but you aren't getting wins like The Pistols are. Thats why I want to offer you a spot in our group, join us and I can turn you into a winner like the rest of us.
Taven offers his hand, but Sabre just walks out of the ring and leaves. I guess Sabre didn't take kindly to being called a loser, and feels he can become successful in Hybrid Pro on his own. Will he live to regret this decision, or will he make it on his own?
Non-Title Match
The Pistols ("The Prodigy" Mike Bennett and "The Project" Tommaso Ciampa) vs The Greek Gods ("God's Gift" QT Marshall and "The Greek God" Papadon)
The Greek Gods have proven to be a volatile unit, they can't seem to get along with each other, which I guess may be due to their big egos clashing. Marshall was a bit more focused this evening however as he wanted to get some revenge on The Pistols for kicking him out of the group. Bennett and Ciampa only proved why Marshall was kicked out in the first place, as they were full focused on the action in the ring while The Greek Gods seemed more concerned with posing and one-upping each other any way they could. They paid for this in full when Bennett dropped Marshall with the Box Office Smash while Ciampa hat Project Ciampa on Papadon, both men being pinned simultaneously.
Winners- The Pistols
"The Lone Wolf" Paul London vs "The Real Showstopper" Michael Shane
London's attitude has been under scrutiny recently, he has shown a lot of arrogance and at the same time has formed an unlikely alliance with Chris Hero in Ring Warriors, plus has been making use of a steel chair a lot. London continued to show that arrogance here, yet the fans still love him purely because of his high flying skill. Shane and London had a match worthy of their many classics years ago, considering the history of these two men as both enemies and tag team partners in the past it is the very least you would expect. Shane went for a Sweet Shane Music on London, but London avoided it with chair in hand and smacked Shane over the head with it, leading to a DQ.
Winner- Michael Shane by DQ
London has the chair and heads up to the top rope. CHAIR ASSISTED LONDONS CALLING, HOLY SHIT! The fans loved that, and London's questionable actions again don't seem to have lost him crowd support in Hybrid Pro. How long will that last?

NWA Hybrid Pro Tag Team Title Match
The Pistols ("The Premier Athlete" Anthony Nese and Samuray Del Sol) vs High Energy ("The Last Dragon" ACH and TaDarius Thomas)
Nese and Del Sol were chosen for this matchup so that Nese could show his worth to The Pistols, and Del Sol could get some more in-ring time which he has lacked a bit lately. The Pistols duo looked good in there no doubt, but High Energy were a real challenge, the amazing high flying of ACH was on display in full force here, while Thomas dazzled with is capoeira based style while wrestling impressively at the same time. Indeed were it not for a timely save by Nese, Del Sol could have been pinned with a great combo, a Capoeira Kick from Thomas followed by the Best 450 Ever from ACH. Nese managed to drop Thomas with a Reverse Piledriver, which was followed by a 450 from Del Sol which was enough to pin him to retain the titles.
Winners- The Pistols
NWA Hybrid Pro Television Title Match
"The FN Machine" Brian Cage vs Prince Devitt
Devitt proved to be a worthy challenger to the near unstoppable Brian Cage, a man who is still undefeated in singles competition in Hybrid Pro. The confidence that Cage has shown shone through again as he overpowered Devitt with ease, even if it was a way more even contest on the mat. Devitt has to use a lot more aerial manoeuvres than he would usually use, as with it being such an even contest on the mat, and with that power advantage Cage has, he was not going to be able to keep up otherwise. Devitt's challenge was good, indeed he came close to making Cage tap to the Devitt's End, but Cage escaped, overpowered Devitt again and nailed Weapon X to retain his title.
Winner- Brian Cage
Post match The Pistols made their way out, lead by Matt Taven, joining Cage in the ring.
Taven: As you can see, The Pistols have won every single match they have competed in tonight, and without any kind of outside interference, cheating or shenanigans, because we are that damn good. As a group, we are unmatched in terms of overall ability, we can brawl, fly through the air, wrestle on the mat and overpower our opponents, there is nothing we can't do. And as the finest group of young talent wrestling has ever seen, its only right that we want NWA gold to go alongside Hybrid Pro gold. Thats why we are issuing a challenge to the NWA North American Tag Team Champions, The Faces of Fear. You say you have no challengers, well we have 6 right here, and we want to face you at The Great American Bash. If your man enough to accept our challenge then go ahead, we will be waiting, and come July those belt will be getting a new dose of sex, drugs and rock n'roll courtesy of The Pistols!

NWA North American Title Match
"The Reflection of Perfection" Dolph Ziggler w/Chris Masters vs "Big Rig" Brodie Lee
Lee earned this shot following a win over Chris Masters on iPPV, and is getting his shot a week earlier than he was originally scheduled to, mainly thanks to the involvement of Paul London last week. Lee had a definite size and power advantage here over Ziggler, so Ziggler's strategy was to take Lee down to the mat, working on the legs and neutralising that size difference. It worked at times, yet at others Lee was able to work through the pain and dominate the champion. Indeed had it not been for some sneaky interference from Chris Masters, sneaking a punch with a steel chain as Lee went for the Brodie Bomb, he might have won the belt. Ziggler locked in a Sleeper on the grounded Lee, and he couldn't answer the referee's calls, meaning Ziggler retains.
Winner- Dolph Ziggler
Masters and Ziggler look to finish the job as they keep beating away on Lee, but Michael Shane run out for the save. He comes off the top with a Dropkick onto Masters, and nails the Sweet Shane Music on Ziggler! Ziggler and Masters run off as Shane helps Lee back to his feet, and he lives to fight another day. Will Shane be hitting Sweet Shane Music on Ziggler next week to win Ziggler's belt?
Grudge Match
"The American Nightmare" Jack Swagger vs Johnny Gargano
Swagger was an ally of Gargano in his group to battle The Prophecy, but Swagger turned on him last week to join the very group that he is fighting so hard to stop. Gargano fought hard, and Whitmer did his best to keep The Prophecy from getting involved, but it was always going to be an uphill struggle in a 6 on 2 situation. And when the referee took a bump, The Prophecy were ready to move in as Kyle shouted for them to charge and finish the job. That was until VORDELL WALKER leapt out of the crowd! He fires away with brutal rights and lefts on The Prophecy, as Whitmer and Gargano join in, the 3 men are somehow overcoming the odds! Swagger and Gargano are left in the ring alone as The Prophecy has been laid out by Walker's fists, HURTS DONUT! 1-2-3, GARGANO WINS!
Winner- Johnny Gargano
Vordell Walker is revealed as the newest member of Gargano's group, and what an addition he is, you could not ask for a tougher fighter to take on the near unstoppable force that is The Prophecy. The show ends with Gargano, Whitmer and Walker celebrating in the ring as The Prophecy and their antichrist Kyle Matthews look on from the ramp, shouting away that they will win the war even if they lost this battle!
