While Dustin hasn't confirmed regarding bookings yet, we have agreements in place for Wyatt and Whitmer anyway, so with that in mind here is the first show of a direction for Hybrid Pro I'm really excited about. And with the other ideas I have upcoming, things are about to pick up (I hope).

Youth vs Experience
Zack Sabre Jr vs Antonio Cesaro
Sabre scored a huge upset by defeating Alex Shelley in NWA South Beach recently, and he looked to follow this up against Cesaro who is coming off a feud ending loss to Sami Zayn in a ladder match. Cesaro had a definite size and weight advantage, but when it came to mat wrestling skill you could not keep these two apart, Sabre was more than a match for Cesaro in that regard. Sabre pulled off a few rarely seen high flying moves to compensate for the size difference, which meshed well with Cesaro's freakish power. Sabre came very close to winning this one for The Pistols, but Cesaro ended up Neutralizing him to pick up the victory.
Winner- Antonio Cesaro
Mayhem Match #1
Carlito vs Paul London vs Samuray Del Sol
Carlito of CPW made a surprise appearance here against two other top high fliers in Hybrid Pro as part of the Mayhem series, those being Paul London and Samuray Del Sol. When it came to pure high flying, Del Sol was definitely the standout here, while London and Carlito were better on the mat. Carlito ended up spending too much time jawing with the fans and not enough focusing on the match, as he got caught by a Mushroom Stomp from London followed by a Londons Calling getting the 3 count.
Winner- Paul London
London grabbed the mic-
London: Bryan Danielson, once again you've failed to answer my challenge. You've proven exactly the kind of champion you are, a cowardly one. Since its so clear to everyone that I am the superior graduate of the Texas Wrestling Academy, I am going to force you to give me my shot by winning the Annihilator in six weeks time, then you will have no choice but to defend your title against me. That is unless you MAN UP before then Danielson!
All Star Match #1
Alex Shelley vs James Storm
Shelley recently left Hybrid Pro after a cup of coffee here, but has returned to take part in the All Star series, a showcase of former NWA champions. Shelley is here via his World Junior Heavyweight Title run, while Storm is here as a former NWA World Tag Team Champion. The two put on a fantastic matchup, with lots of great back and forth mat wrestling, Shelley coming out on top in that regard. In a fight however it was Storm who had the advantage, and those fists of his proved to be difficult for Shelley to handle. Storm won this when he nailed a Last Call, advancing to the quarter finals.
Winner- James Storm
All Star Match #2
Joey Mercury vs Ricochet
Much like the last matchup, Ricochet is here as a former World Junior champ while Mercury is here as a former World Tag Team Champion. Mercury showed a bit of ring rust here it has to be said, he hasn't competed regularly for a company since his run in the original iteration of Hybrid Pro as part of The Showstealers. And while Ricochet has been more active and thus less rung rusted, he wasn't exactly hitting every move clean either, these two definitely didn't have the match they are capable of at their best. Still it was decent all the same, lots of fun high flying moves here plus some mat wrestling thrown in from the more ground based Mercury. Ricochet ended up advancing with a 630 Senton getting the pinfall.
Winner- Ricochet
Before our TV Title match could begin, Brian Cage took the mic.
Cage: As I've proven over the past few months here in Hybrid Pro, nobody in this sport is capable of beating me, the unstoppable FN machine! Thats why after some negotiating with Hybrid Pro owner Magnus D by the leader of the greatest faction on earth, Matt Taven, we are going to change this TV belt to reflect my dominance. This title is now renamed the Challenge Belt. I am open to any and all challengers from every promotion in the NWA, if you think you can stop the unstoppable machine that is Brian Cage, I dare you to come to Hybrid Pro, or let me come to you and prove otherwise. And if I manage to defend this belt successfully 5 times, then this belt belongs to me FOREVER!
A massive announcement there. If Cage defends successfully here against Drew McIntyre then who will step up to to challenge of taking the Challenge belt away from Brian Cage?
NWA Hybrid Pro Challenge Belt Match
"The FN Machine" Brian Cage vs Drew McIntyre
A big fan favourite here in New Jersey, McIntyre had the entire crowd behind him as he tried to dethrone the unstoppable force that is Brian Cage, a man who is still unbeaten in singles competition and pretty much any matchup he is entered into. And this one played out fairly evenly, as while McIntyre had a size and weight advantage, Cage has freakish power and was still able to toss the Scot around with considerable ease, while McIntyre was able to do the same to Cage. The two also came out even on the mat, leaving little to choose between these two men. However on this occasion it was Cage who managed to pull out a win, continuing to ride the momentum that has made him the man to beat in Hybrid Pro, hitting Weapon X and getting 3.
Winner- Brian Cage
8 Man Tag Team Match
The Prophecy (Jack Swagger, Bray Wyatt, D'Angelo Dinero and Azrieal) vs Vordell Walker, BJ Whitmer and The All Night Express (Kenny King and Rhett Titus)
The Prophecy are beginning to struggle when it comes to Johnny Gargano's group, they almost match The Prophecy in numbers now, plus with the seemingly imminent arrival of the saviour of the innocent, whoever he may be, their path of domination looks considerably weakened. However in this matchup they didn't show any signs of weakness, Swagger lead the team in the unexplained absense of Kyle Matthews, and used his power to take control. The Prophecy showed good teamwork, but King and Titus as an experienced team had a lot more to offer in that regard, they were a good signing by Gargano, and combined with the fighting skill of Whitmer and the all out toughness of Walker they kept up well. Azrieal took out not only King, Titus and Walker, but all but Swagger from his team with a massive Top over the top rope, leaving Swagger alone with Whitmer in the ring. Whitmer went for an Exploder, but Swagger reversed into the Doctor Bomb, and that was enough to pin him and give The prophecy a rare clean victory.
Winners- The Prophecy
NWA North American Title Match
"The Reflection of Perfection" Dolph Ziggler vs Sami Zayn
Zayn's achievements in the showstealing ladder matchup with Antonio Cesaro at Beach Brawl have been recognised, as he has been given a massive opportunity against Dolph Ziggler for the North American Title. And oh boy, what a matchup this was, when you have a high flyer with the skill of Zayn and a technician the calibre of Ziggler, you know you are going to get something must see, and that is what this was. In fact, I don't need to hype this matchup any more, instead get onto Youtube and watch it on the Hybrid Pro channel right now! Ziggler retained his title when he blocked a Springboard Tornado DDT and reversed into a Zig Zag for 3.
Winner- Dolph Ziggler
NWA Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title Match
"The Grim Reaper" Dan Maff w/The Prophecy vs "The Machine Gun" Karl Anderson
Anderson and Maff hate each others guts, and it all stems from Anderson losing the Heavyweight belt to Maff in controversial circumstances. The Prophecy then hung Anderson over the ropes during the rematch, putting Anderson on the shelf until recently. These two went at it at a frantic pace, throwing fists and brawling with a massive level of intensity, and The Prophecy surprisingly stayed out of it, seemingly letting Maff take care of his own business. Maff however began to look vulnerable towards the end, and The Prophecy planned to get involved, but before they could BJ Whitmer, Vordell Walker, Kenny King and Rhett Titus ran out and started brawling with The Prophecy. Maff looks to setup Anderson for the Burning Hammer, BUT HERE COMES JOHNNY GARGANO WITH A CHAIR! CHAIRSHOT TO MAFF! He sets up for the Hurts Donut on the chair, but Anderson is up. GUN STUN TO GARGANO ON THE CHAIR! Anderson nails the move on the man who has been trying to recruit him for weeks, saying exactly what he thinks of Gargano and his movement. He looks to do the same to Maff, but Maff reverses, HALF NELSON SUPLEX ON THE CHAIR! 1-2-NO, HOW DID ANDERSON KICK OUT? Maff has a psychotic look on his face as he screams for the Burning Hammer, and he wants to hit it on the chair. He lifts up the limp Anderson and puts him in position for the move. He goes for it but Anderson lands on his feet, GUN STUN ON THE CHAIR! 1-2-3, ANDERSON WINS BACK THE BELT!
Winner- NEW Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Champion, Karl Anderson
What an end to what was a fantastic matchup, as Anderson takes the belt and celebrates, the fans chanting his name as Anderson becomes the first 2 time Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Champion ever.
