The taped show opens with the ceremonial fires as Shaman returns to the opening segment. He had a dark vision of the return of a powerful force that hasn't been seen for some time.

SINGLES BOUT
Puchteca vs. Jaguar

Puchteca would come out of the gate with a huge running knee following up with huge forearm shots trying to end the match as soon as it started but Jaguar would get the rope break. Jaguar has a temper and after getting to his feet he beckoned for Puchteca to hit him again. Puchteca would oblige throwing another forearm with Jaguar answering back with a forearm of his own. These two men exchanged hard shots in the middle of the ring with Jaguar getting the better of the exchange backing Puchteca into the corner where he'd do a run up back flip off of Puchteca following up with a yakuza kick nearly taking his head off. Jaguar would try for the Tiger Driver 98' but Puchteca would fight out of it coming back with a rush of kicks before hitting a bridging german suplex for a two count. Before Jaguar could get up Puchteca would blast him with more forearm shots backing him into the corner until the ref finally stepped in, but Puchteca would slide past and hit a leaping dropkick viciously blasting Jaguar in the skull. Puchteca tried for a pin but only got a two count somehow. Puchteca looked stunned and exhausted after throwing everything possible at his opponent, but Jaguar refused to die, coming back with a leaping back kick. Jaguar would scoop and slam Puchteca with a saito suplex getting up and stalking Puchteca, hitting the Tiger Driver 98' this time getting a three count.

TAG TEAM BOUT
BLUNDERBUSS (Ryozo & MINORI) vs. Red Dragon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly)

Red Dragon got a great opening with red lights and fog as "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragon blares over the PA system. Although you could tell that Red Dragon were getting a nice debut push, their opponents aren't push overs. Ryozo and Fish started off the match slowly exchanging holds in the middle of the ring going counter for counter with Ryozo eventually hiptossing and dropkicking Fish in the back of the head. Ryozo would drag Fish to the corner tagging to MINORI who would continue to assault Fish with brutal chops reddening the chest of Bobby Fish. Kyle would look on in horror as BLUNDERBUSS looked to derail this spectacular debut, but Bobby would hit a roundhouse kick to create seperation enough to get a tag out to O'Reilly. Kyle would charge in and go to work hitting a combination of butterfly suplexes for a two count. MINORI would get the chance to nearly soccer kick the head of O'Reilly off when Kyle sat down just a hair too long. MINORI would immediately apply an armbar but Kyle was close enough to get to the ropes, breaking the hold. Bobby was just regaining his senses at this point trying to get the tag back in to help his partner. Kyle tried to make the tag but MINORI would drag him back to the corner of BLUNDERBUSS tagging in Ryozo who would stomp away at Kyle. Bobby Fish was extremely frustrated that he wasn't getting in to save his partner but Kyle was able to eventually snap off a superkick tagging out to Fish who came in on fire knocking around both members of BLUNDERBUSS! Fish nailed MINORI with a roundhouse kick sending him threw the ropes, allowing the double team of Red Dragon. Kyle would lift up Ryozo for a brainbuster giving Fish the opportunity to hit a kick to the skull of Ryozo right before O'Reilly drives him to the mat with the brainbuster! Kyle would run interference as Fish would go for the pinfall.

DEATHMATCH BOUT
Powder Keg vs. MASADA

This was a match involving beds of broken glass and thumbtacks, and involved two incredibly tough gaijins. Powder Keg has an obsession with slamming MASADA's face into the bed of broken glass but MASADA would fight free over and over, and ironically drop toe holding Keg into the glass! MASADA would leg drop Keg's face back into the glass, with PK lifting his face as shards of glass and blood would drip from his face. MASADA would go to the outside getting a steel chair but it gave Powder Keg the chance to regain his composure. MASADA tried to take a swing at Powder Keg with a chair but Keg would literally punch the chair back into the face of MASADA! Powder Keg is sadistic as he scooped up a handful of tacks putting them into his mouth to spit into the face of MASADA before blasting him with a lariat for a two count. Powder Keg wasn't finished picking up and belly to belly suplexing MASADA into the bed of broken glass! Powder Keg would grab the bed of thumbtacks flipping it onto MASADA, elbow dropping the back of the bed sandwiching MASADA between the two brutal beds. Once the ref helped MASADA out of the pile of glass, wood and metal he was exposed as a bloody mess. MASADA was wobbly on his feet but he was still trying to come at Powder Keg who would plant him with a running spinebuster putting MASADA down for a three count.


The Black Army has become so powerful with the alliance of Black Heart and Overdose. Hannibal who has become a gutsy hero of the Union has had enough and against the pleading of his girlfriend Anni Maye, decided to call out the Black Army. Hannibal wanted to battle Overdose or Black Heart but got Overdoses new summon, Jinn.

SINGLES BOUT
Jinn w/ Overdose vs. Hannibal

Jinn is the spirit summoned from the tournament that crowned Overdose the holder of the Independent Crown. Hannibal was determined to turn the tide of this war for the Independent Union bringing the fight to Jinn, who took a flurry of slaps and kicks from Hannibal. Jinn would counter with a hurrincanrana followed up with a dropkick that was so lightning quick. Jinn has so much speed that it really took Hannibal off guard. Jinn would stand over Hannibal who was bewildered at his opponent, and Jinn would just let him up to try again. Hannibal went for another strike rush but ended up getting flipped with a japanese armdrag for Jinn who followed up this time with a spinning leg drop, letting Hannibal up again. Overdose was enjoying the show but eventually the fun was over as Overdose signaled for the end. This time when Jinn put Hannibal on the mat he followed up with a violent curbstomp that dazed Hannibal. Jinn would hit another and another bouncing Hannibal's head off the mat repeatedly before locking in the camel clutch. Hannibal was already out cold so the ref just called for the end of the match. The scene got even more horrific as Jinn held the hold in. The ref called in help who tried hard to break Jinn's grasp but only the order from Overdose stopped the torture.


Black Ninja came out trying to attack Overdose and Jinn with a chair, but they were able to escape through the crowd. A spotlight would follow Overdose, as Black Ninja got on the mic beckoning Overdose to come back to the ring. Overdose obviously wasn't going to come back, but offered Ninja up an opponent. He hasn't been seen since the title tournament, Overdose paralyzed him. The crowd was a buzz as Overdose explained that he unparalyzed this monster only after getting the beast to agree to destroy Ninja...

SINGLES BOUT
The Claw vs. Black Ninja

If you could see under the mask of Ninja I'm sure you'd see shocked surprise as the extreme monster Claw made his return to the Union. Black Ninja would dive out of the ring with a flip senton onto Claw but was caught in the air, Claw would run and throw Ninja into the apron following up with heavy hands. Claw tried to hit a running boot that would have crushed the skull of Ninja, but Black Ninja would move out of the way at the last second. Black Ninja used his speed to keep himself in the match hitting a dropkick through the ropes staggering Claw, Black Ninja dived over the ropes again this time putting Claw down. Black Ninja got back into the ring playing to the crowd as he waited for Claw to get back into the ring. Ninja went for a leaping spinning wheel kick only to have Claw catch and powerbomb him to the mat. Claw is just so powerful as he grabbed Ninja in a claw hold pulling Ninja up by his face but Ninja would fight back hard kicking Claw in the face stiffly actually getting Claw to let go of his grip. Ninja would scoop out the legs of Claw with a rough looking school boy for barely a two count. Claw is so scary that it's a fight for your life anytime you're in the ring with him. Claw doesn't really feel pain like a human being should and he just keeps coming in horror film fashion. Black Ninja went for a springboard back elbow but Claw would catch him and batter him with headbutts before slamming Ninja to the mat with a release german suplex that looked like it could have killed his opponent. Claw went for the pin but Black Ninja was some how able to kick out and Claw tried to slam him back down for another pin but again only got a two count! Claw was furious, actually showing some emotion. Black Ninja would hit kicks and knife edge chops on Claw staggering the beast before hitting a leaping wheel kick falling the massive monster. Ninja would come off the top with a twisting moonsault for a two count before Claw would press him off nearly throwing Ninja through the ropes. Claw would sit up undertaker style and come at Ninja looking to punish the hero for coming so close to winning the match. Claw would batter Ninja with heavy hands knocking Ninja to a knee where Claw would apply a nerve hold, keeping Ninja in place to deliver headbutts until Ninja looked to be knocked out. Claw tried to go for another claw hold but Ninja would avoid the hold and out of desperation would flip the massive Claw falling down in exhaustion as the ref started to count both men out. Claw would sit up again getting to his feet quickly as Ninja had to use the ropes to pull himself to his feet. Claw would hit a short arm clothesline, holding on trying for another but Ninja would duck the attack and dropkick Claw into the corner where Ninja would follow up with a cartwheel leaping enziguri that hit with such force you could hear the pop of Ninja's leg against the skull of Claw dropping the monster sickeningly as Black Ninja had to hobble up the ropes a bit doing some damage to himself with the kick as he came off the top with another twisting moonsault this time it was for the victory. The Black Ninja continues to rack up victories as he works his way towards an eventual bout with the man that nearly ended his career, Overdose. The Warlock of Wrestling can't be happy with the end of tonight's main event. But for now the heroes have something to celebrate as the Independent Union closes another chapter of this ongoing story.

Really enjoyed Claw/Ninja, I think the right man won and I'm really looking forward to that eventual Ninja/Overdose clash. Glad to see O'Reilly as part of a fresh tag team, albeit he is a guy I want to see given a singles run at some point, for now though its going to fun to see Red Dragon rise up the ranks. Good stuff here man as always.

The Claw/Ninja match was really well done, and I couldn't believe Ninja was able to finish him. Very good victory, and you know Overdose has to be a little worried after that. I liked the opening bout, too, as I liked both guys involved. I like the style of Puchteca, but I was glad Jaguar got the "W." I'd of liked to see Blunderbuss go over, mostly to make Red Dragon earn their spot, but that's been my complaint with the booking since the geijins have been introduced to the product. The new guys, especially foreigners, come in and get too much of a push over the more established guys who have been there working hard week in and week out. The match was very good, though, and there is no doubt that Fish and O'Reilly are a good team, but I'd like to see the geijins get more of a hazing period, more of an initiation, I suppose. I'm probably the only one who thinks that, though. lol Good show, in any event, as always. I always really enjoy the product.

Ninja has so much revenge to dish out, he's on a mission. Overdose has a lot of ammunition to throw Ninja's way so even though the match with Claw was wild. He still has so much more to do to get his hands on his arch rival. Kev Elliot got me watching some NJPW and I've based Puchteca off of Katsuyori Shibata. I agree with you on the geijin front, but those are the guys getting booked state side. Overdose, Dragon King, Shaolin aren't getting their travel cards punched. Off the top of my head, I think only Black Ninja has been stateside, but that's only off the top of my head. Stigma's still there on created, I'm still trying to break that lol.

Dragon King, Kappa, Talon, Black Ninja, and Jaguar have all wrestled in Ring Warriors before. Are Fish and O'Reilly being booked somewhere stateside currently?

Soooooo I take it you and Fish are on good terms now? It's amazing how quickly Kyle O'Reilly recovered from his beating at the hands of Adam Cole...almost like magic! Good show overall and I finally listened to the song that Claw comes out to...awesome song man.
