Pro-Wrestling TITANS
PRESENTS
"Thursday Night CLASH!"
DATE: September 5th, 2013
LOCATION: Comcast Center, Baltimore, Maryland
COMMENTATORS: Jim Ross & Mike Tenay
The shows begins with "Voices" by Rev Theory, and out walks a very smug looking Randy Orton. Orton is followed by a one Triple H, who in this world went to ECW after leaving WCW and was a major star there before returning to WCW to win two World titles, one of which he actually beat Orton for in what must have been a very violent feud. Not many people really pay attention to the back story this particular place was built on, but because it is my show, I'm going to follow my own history. Levesque is applauding Randy as he does his signature posing, wearing a suit while Randy wears a shirt he is trying to shill at the merchandise tables this evening.
Jim Ross chimes in, "Former two time World Heavyweight champion, Randy Orton, there, and he's accompanied by that sinister, no gooder Triple H, two guys who forged an alliance in blood, Mike, back in WCW, but I don't need to tell you about that."
"No, Jim, the images of these two pummeling each other week in and week out back in stand out vividly in my mind. They would earn each others respect and go on to form the new Triple Threat with Shane Douglas, turning on Douglas months later and taking The Miz on as a partner, and The Miz and Randy would find Tag Team championship success from there. Needless to say, these two know a thing or two about being on top, and I'm interested to see why they are out here tonight."
Triple H has the microphone now, as Randy just smirks with his arms crossed behind him.
"Now, now, all of you here in Baltimore, you need to stand up and show a little more gratitude, give us a round of applause. It took a lot for us to come here and dirty our shoes in this disgusting city, and we sure as Hell didn't come here to be disrespected."
Triple H lowers the mic and he and Orton exchange some words as the fans rain down boos.
"You know what, screw it. You see, your little reactions and your responses, they don't mean a damn thing. We couldn't give a damn what you think. What we need now is for John Laurinaitis to come out here right now and do the right thing, do the right thing for the company, and just hand over the Pro-Wrestling TITANS championship to Randy Orton. Come on out, John, our time is very valuable and you are wasting it."
The fans are booing loudly, but it's not John Laurinaitis who comes out, but none other than Hulk Hogan!
"American Made" can be heard over the speakers! Let it be known that he didn't really over saturate himself in this world, as he was never a part of the NWO or a significant part of wrestling after the early 90's, so people do actually, genuinely like this guy, probably more so than they do in real life, though he is still pretty popular.
Jim Ross is very excited, as always.
"IT'S THE HULKSTER! THE HULKSTER IS IN THE BUILDING, AND HE'S RUNNIN' WILD!"
Hogan finishes up his posing on the ramp as Triple H and Orton kind of mock him. Triple H raises the microphone.
"I hope you brought out something a little more than that weight belt to hand over there, Hulk. As a matter of fact, don't take that belt off. It seems to be doing a lot of work holding that gut in."
The fans are really booing Triple H now as he has insulted the physique of Hogan, but Hogan takes in stride.
"The only reason I'd be taking this belt off, Hunter, would be teach you two smart mouthed children a lesson the old fashioned way, brother!"
Orton takes the microphone now.
"Listen, Hulk, I don't know what kind of kinky fantasies you got running wild in your head, but you'd better just do as your told... otherwise, I might have to remind everyone here why I was known as, and am still, 'The Legend Killer.'"
Hogan has heard enough.
"Listen, man, you wanna come in here and start barkin' out orders well, dudes, you better listen up! Tonight, I'm not handing you two clowns over anything!"
The fans cheer big time for this.
"But tonight, I am going to give you a chance... a chance to prove yourself."
Triple H is on the ropes now, yelling at Hogan as Orton raises his microphone.
"I have proven myself time and again, old man, and I don't need to prove anything to you!"
"You're going to do as your told, and you're going to wrestle tonight! If you make it out of this match, then maybe, just maybe you'll get in contention for the big belt, brother. So tonight, for all my Hulkamaniacs, and all the little children watchin' at home, the ones who still train, who still say their prayers, who still take the vitamins, man, all those diehards around the world... it's going to be Randy Orton, goin' one on one, man, with the 'Big Red-"
BOOM!!!
Pyro erupts in the ring, and everybody in the arena crouches down, but over the speakers there is an organ playing and out from behind the curtain marches KANE! Kane storms right past Hogan and is making a bee line for the ring.
Mike Tenay proclaims, "Ladies and gentlemen, this is Kane!"
"BAW GAWD! 'THE DEMON' HAS RETURNED! KANE IS ON THE WARPATH, AND ALL HELL IS ABOUT TO BREAK LOOSE HERE IN THE COMCAST CENTER!"
"The Big Red Machine" has obviously startled Trips and Orton, because they decided to bolt and save their skin for the main event, hopping into the crowd and trying to get to high ground. Kane stands triumphant in the ring before we head backstage.
Backstage, we see Jay and Mark Briscoe, who are obviously talking about hunting or something, as Mark is making a gesture like he is aiming a shotgun to the sky and both men are talking jovially until into the video scope steps Kenny Omega and Steven Richards. Omega points a thumb at them.
"Look at these guys. The scum at the bottom of the gene pool, Steven. It's sad."
This catches the attention of the Delaware natives. Mark pipes up.
"EXCUSE ME!?"
Steven steps forward.
"Is that... chewing tobacco in your mouths?"
Jay spits off to the side.
"Are you some kinda idiot? Mark, I think these two pansies are trying to sass us or somethin'"
"THE HELL!?"
Steven puts up his hands and laughs.
"This... is not a fair fight. You two, you're obviously... mentally challenged."
"Yeah, I agree, Steven, I don't think I'd feel very good about myself beating up on a ret-"
That did it. The Briscoes strike, but Richards and Omega are trading blows right along with them. Tommy Dreamer with his head of security, Gene Snitsky, hits the scene with some officials and road agents and they manage to break things up.
Dreamer goes on to say, "Listen, if you four got a problem, you don't need to be fighting back here. That's what the ring is for. Richards, Omega, you better go get ready, because tonight, you two just got a match with the former World Tag Team champions."
Jay yells out, "YOU TWO LITTLE GIRLS BETTER BE READY TO MAN UP!"
We now head to the ring for the first match of the night
MATCH ONE
RULES: TAG TEAM
Brodie Lee & Delirious would make their way out acting very psychotic in their own ways. Brodie would be murmuring things to himself and smiling a lot while Delirious would claw at his face and yell out gibberish towards the fans, retreating in the corner once in the ring and huddling in the fetal position until it was time for action. Eddie Edwards & Jay Bradley didn't know really what to make of their opponents tonight, but did a good job of trying to roll with their antics and impose their own game plan. Lee's power, strength, and ferocity mixed with Delirious' well rounded, very unorthodox style made for a devastating combination, however, and though Edwards and Bradley are both very talented, they couldn't overcome the obstacle tonight. Lee would deliver a big time Truck Stop (Swinging Sidewalk Slam) to Edwards while Delirious was on Bradley's back on the outside biting his ear to distract him, and that was all she wrote.
MATCH TWO
RULES: SIX MAN TAG TEAM
Jack Evans, Ron Killings, and Sonjay Dutt would join forces tonight to face off with Brian Kendrick, Mark Jindrak, and Richie Steamboat in a match they seemed very determined to win. They were very aggressive at the onset, and would not let up throughout, making this a very exhilarating contest, as everybody involved really had no choice but to go at full bore throughout. There were botches and missed spots, and sometimes things seemed too choreographed, but it didn't matter, as the whole point was to put on a show, and that mission was accomplished. Mark Jindrak would manage to end the match tonight, catching Jack Evans with a Full Nelson Slam that lift him looking like an accordion in the ring whilst everyone else was busy on the outside, leading to a three count for his team tonight.
MATCH THREE
RULES: SINGLES
Gail Kim looked very smug and confident coming out, while Mickie James would bring the energy that got the fans up. This was pretty good for a women's match in the United States, and probably the best worked match so far from a psychology and story telling stand point, as Kim really went to work of James' arm and never let up throughout. James would sell the injury very well and milk the fans' sympathy, garnering their cheers on more than one occasion to battle out of a submission attempt from Kim. Kim would make a big error, feeling desperate and heading up top, as James would catch her coming off the top with a Reverse Roundhouse Kick, and that ended it. James gets the wins, and the fans are pleased.
Out to the ring walks "The Hurricane" Shane Helms, and the fans give him a pretty good ovation.
"You know, Jim, Helms is one of the most decorated Junior Heavyweight champions of all time, and is considered the standard bearer for that title."
"No question about it, Mike, that guy is quicker than a hiccup and about as wily as pet coon. There's no tellin' what he's gonna do between those ropes!"
Helms grabs the microphone and begins to address the audience.
"Now, I've been sitting in the back and I've seen some pretty good action tonight. I'm rather impressed. You see, there's a lot of young guys tryin' to come up, and they think their better than the guys who laid out the path for them, and tonight, I'm giving a young guy an opportunity. Anybody in the back tonight who thinks they can beat me, any young buck trying to make their name, I want you to come on out here and fight me. Come on! Bring your ass out here! Get a referee out here, and let's go!"
From back emerges Curt Hawkins, and he has Mike Chioda with him. Hawkins storms into the ring, and being about 25 lbs. heavier than Helms, he is able to bull him over and begin pummeling him with right hands as the bell sounds.
MATCH FOUR
RULES: SINGLES
Curt Hawkins has Shane Helms down early, but Helms manages to come back and come back strong. Helms lays into Hawkins viciously, planting him with kicks and laying into him with chops and forearms, assaulting the Queens, New York, native around the ring and really letting him have it. Hawkins manages to fight back after battling his way out of a chinlock, hitting his One Night Stand (Twisting Flipping Leghook Belly to Back Suplex) for a two count. Hawkins would hit a Swinging Body Slam and head up top for a Heat Seeking Elbow (Flying Elbowdrop), but Helms would manage to move, allowing him to hit Hawkins with a Shining Wizard and end the contest.
Helms grabs the microphone, "I'm still the best, and 'The Hurricane' is here to blow the competition away!"
MATCH FIVE
RULES: TAG TEAM
Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe would make their way out very fired up as these fans gave them a huge ovation! Kenny Omega & Steven Richards, on the other hand, would just sort of saunter out and try to play it cool, attempting to bide their time, but the Briscoes were right out after them and these fans were getting a fight! These guys would battle all around ringside and into the crowd before Jay would send Richards into the ring to actually, officially begin the match. Jay would pick up Richards into a Military Press and then drop him into a Death Valley Driver, thinking he had it, but Kenny Omega would make his way in with a trashcan and bash Briscoe repeatedly with it until referee Earl Hebner was forced to call for the bell.
Omega would end up shoving down Hebner before stomping Briscoe once more and then lifting him to his knees. Omega takes the trashcan and then tries to smash down on Jay, trying to place him inside of it but only really pinning his head in it. He then grabs a microphone.
"THIS IS WHERE YOU BELONG! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT GARBAGE! YOU HEAR ME, BRISCOES! YOU'RE POOR WHITE TRASH, AND YOU DON'T BELONG IN A GENTLEMAN'S SPORT!"
Mark Briscoe has managed to pick himself up off the floor in the crowd and grabbed a chair in the process. He slides into the ring and manages to chase off Omega and Richards before tending to his fallen, ailing brother. The Briscoes don't look much like winners tonight.
"What a bunch of cowards! This heinous attack can't go unpunished, Mike, these bastards need to pay!"
"I hear ya, big guy. The Briscoes will most certainly be looking for retribution after this display, and it won't come soon enough!"
Out to the ring comes John Cena, who gets a mostly positive reaction from the audience tonight. He grabs a microphone.
"I've been on the verge time and time again. I've almost broken through, almost had my moments of glory, and each time, they are snatched away from me. Dolph Ziggler was on my radar, and I failed to conquer him. Brock Lesnar had a big hand in making sure of that. But tonight, it's not about Brock. I don't even think he's here tonight. What I do know is, I'm right back at the bottom, but I'm still aimin' for the top. I'm still tryin' and I'm still fightin' and there ain't nobody or nothin' that's going to stop me this time! Respect is earned in life and in wrestling, and tonight, I want to earn some respect from you people. I'm ready for a fight!"
Cena tosses down the microphone and motions towards the entrance, and over the speakers hits some hip hop music, but nobody is coming from back. Suddenly, from behind, it's Homicide and JTG! They are in the ring and they are assaulting Cena, laying the boots into him as the fans boo! Homicide tells JTG to hold up Cena, picking him up by his arms as he's on his knees, and Homicide kicks him across the face!
"THERE'S BEATIN' DOWN CENA LIKE A GOVERNMENT MULE!"
Homicide grabs the microphone on the mat, "You wan' respect, Cena! You wanna fight, homie!? You little Boston suburbs piece of crap, you think you deserve respect, puto!? Pick 'im up, J, pick 'im up!"
JTG lifts him up again, and Homicide slaps him across the face, hard!
"You don't deserve a fight, you little bitch!"
At least one person has seen enough, as out to the ring runs Eric Young! Young slides in, and he's all fists, blasting both JTG and Homicide more quickly than they can protect themselves, and they have no choice but to retreat! Young picks up the microphone, and in his gravelly voice he makes a statement.
"I'm not going to stand back there and watch this guy get his ass beat, not him, not anybody. I'm tired of guys like you two pieces of trash trying to push everybody around, trying to bully everyone. This man came out here looking for a fight, and tonight, I'm going to stand with him, and tonight, we're going to show two so-called 'tough guys' from Brooklyn what an ass kicking is all about!"
Young throws down the microphone and helps up Cena, who shakes his hand, and we've got another tag match for later in the evening!
MATCH SIX
RULES: SINGLES
Kid Kash came out with a lot of intensity as he looked to take down former World Junior Heavyweight champion Ricochet in singles action tonight. These two put on a great, very physical match that saw some amazing high risk moves, but also some really stiff kicks and harsh head drops. Kash has some nasty moves in his arsenal, but tonight it just wasn't enough to keep down the Kentucky native, Ricochet. Ricochet would show poise beyond his years in withstanding everything Kash had to dish out to him, and would end the match after a quick exchange of counters with a Standing Shooting Star Press for the three count.
MATCH SEVEN
RULES: TAG TEAM
Eric Young & John Cena were able to gather themselves throughout the last match and were ready to take on Cena's assailants from earlier in Homicide & JTG. Homicide and JTG would once again try to attack guerrilla warfare style from the crowd as Cena and Young were entering the ring, but this time they received a fight, as these two teams battle around the ringside area, trying to inflict a lot of damage early on. Cena would have Homicide on the inside to get the match officially going and picked up a couple of quick near falls early, but Homicide turned the tides with a low blow, followed by a big Neckbreaker for a two count. Homicide would slam Cena and try for a Frog Splash, but Eric Young would stop him and catch him with a Superplex for his troubles! JTG would manage to turn the tides for his team and get a near fall on Young with Da Shout Out (Sling Blade), but Cena would break it up with a Flying Legdrop. Homicide would come into the ring with a chair and seemingly try to use it, but Eric Young would grab it. Young would feign like he was going to use it, but Mike Chioda took it away from him after a bit of a struggle. While the referee was trying to dispose of the chair, Homicide would pull out a pair of brass knuckles from his shorts! JTG would tackle Young into the corner as Homicide blasted Cena right in the forehead with the knuckles! Homicide would pin Cena as JTG held back Young, and Chioda would make the count!
Homicide would then get up and beat down Young with JTG until security would come out and break things up! Homicide and JTG look very pleased with themselves leaving with a security escorted shoving them along, pinning their hands behind their backs as the fans boo vehemently.
MATCH EIGHT
RULES: SINGLES
Randy Orton is the first to the ring, accompanied by Triple H, but whatever smug act they were trying to keep up all melted away in flames as Kane made his way out. Orton and Kane would have a very vicious brawl of a match. Orton would try to take out the wheels of "The Big Red Machine" early, but Kane would fight back hard and get a couple of near falls. Orton would dodge an in coming Avalanche Splash in the corner, and that set up some choking and stomping against the buckles, leading to Triple H getting involved with a few stray punches and some choking of his own. Things would head to the outside and get very physical, as both men tried to get the edge, but Kane would come out on top, slamming Orton into the ring post! Kane would turn his focus to Triple H and would chase him around the ring and then into the ring. Triple H would try to plea for forgiveness with Kane, but it was all just a ploy, as Orton would slide in and catch Kane with an RKO out of nowhere! Orton covers, but Kane manages to somehow kick out at 2.999, sending every fan instantly to their feet! Orton would immediately try for another one, but Kane would slip away and catch him, landing a big time Choke Slam! Kane would cover, but Orton showed his toughness by kicking out of the move! Kane called for the end and was looking for a Tombstone, but Triple H got up on the apron and tried to get into the ring. Referee Charles Robinson would try to keep him out, but Kane would take the bait and drop Randy, heading over to grab Triple H. Randy would get up and smash Kane to the back of the head from behind, but Kane would turn in a flash and grab him by the throat again. With the ref's back turned, Randy kicks Kane down low very hard and then plants him with a DDT! Orton rolls over to the corner as Triple H ducks down, and Kane tries to pick himself up. Orton rushes and nails a Punt Kick! Orton covers, and it's all over.
"DAMN THAT RANDY ORTON! DAMN THAT BASTARD TRIPLE H!"
Orton grabs a microphone as Kane is still down.
"I am 'The Apex Predator' in professional wrestling. I am the baddest man around, the toughest, most ruthless individual in wrestling, and there is nobody who can stop me!"
That's an invitation if I've ever heard one. "Next Big Thing" hits the speakers and these fans are jumping like crazy! From the crowd, it's BROCK LESNAR!
Triple H and Randy are both looking towards the entrance, not aware that he's behind them. Randy turns, and as soon as he does, he bolts towards the entrance. Triple H is slower to react, turning and he's already caught.
Mike Tenay proclaims with joy, "F-5! HE HIT IT!"
"YOU GO STRAIGHT TO HELL, HUNTER! YOU GO STRAIGHT TO HELL!"
Lesnar is doing his jumping up and down thing as Triple H lays prone. Kane is standing at ringside holding his head, and he and Brock are both looking up at Orton on the entrance ramp who looks very uneasy now as the show comes to a close.
