So I've been away on holiday this week and haven't had a lot of time to write a show. Combined with the fact that said holiday has completely worn me out and I've gotten engaged, its meant I haven't been able to write a full show this week. Regardless though I've gotten this one out with some quick results, and normal service should be resumed next week.
NWA Hybrid Pro TV Results 07/09/2013
Daniel Bryan def Kyle O'Reilly in an excellent opening match to retain his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title, making O'Reilly tap to the Yes Lock. Post match Paul London ran down to the ring and attacked Bryan with a chair, before delivering the chair assisted Londons Calling. London left shouting "YES YES YES" as Bryan is attended to by medical officials.
Kassius Ohno def Bo Dallas in a largely one sided match via submission to the Kassius Klutch. Despite the defeat, Dallas tanked the fans for their support and said that they could buy an autograph from their all time favourite wrestler for $10 each from his merchandising table so long as they don't stop Boleiving. What a loser!
Sami Zayn and Adam Pearce fought to a no contest in a little under 10 minutes in a match that was barely a match and more of an all out fight. Eventually the match got too out of control, and the referee had to throw the match out. Officials again had to run in to break these two up, and Magnus D then came out and made a no DQ street fight between the two for next weeks show.
"The Caged Animal" Brian Cage came out and once again called out Matt Taven. Taven responded by putting Cage in a 2 on 1 handicap match against Mike Bennett and Tommaso Ciampa
The match between Brian Cage and Bennett & Ciampa ended in a no contest when Da Baldies ran down and attacked The Pistols. Cage tried to join in, but then Da Baldies laid him out to! I guess Cage wasn't in cahoots with them after all, Da Baldies just want to create utter anarchy. Sami Callihan and Tony Nese ran down, leading to...
The Pistols (Sami Callihan and Tony Nese) def Da Baldies (Karl Anderson and Antonio Cesaro) in a chaotic No DQ tag team match when Callihan reversed a Gun Stun into a Headlock Driver on a chair to get 3. Callihan will challenge Anderson for the Hybrid Pro Heavyweight Title next week on Hybrid Pro TV!
Austin Aries def TJ Perkins to win the Hybrid Pro TV Title. Perkins put up a damn good fight, but Aries would nail the 450 Splash to win the belt.
2MB (Heath Slater and Zack Ryder) def Da Baldies (Luke Gallows and Giant Bernard) by DQ to retain the Tag Team Titles when Da Baldies stopped caring about the match and started beating the hell out of the duo with singapore canes. Da Baldies stole the titles and walked away, leaving Slater and Ryder in a bloody mess on the canvas.
Christopher Daniels def Paul London in a fantastic main event. London came out dressed in Daniels old entrance gear, and mocked Daniels for the entire matchup as Daniels pretty much tried to kill him. Kyle Matthews ran in to try and attack Daniels with a chair, but Daniel Bryan ran in and grabbed the chair away as Daniels dropped Matthews to the canvas with a right hand. London nailed Daniels and went for a Londons Calling, but Daniels avoided it and nailed the Angels Wings to pin London 1-2-3.
Daniels celebrated to end the show, however Matthews took the mic and said that Daniels' and indeed The Group's celebrations would be short lived, because time was on his side and he would soon see what he means on South Beach TV. Daniels counteracts by saying that time is actually on HIS side, and that it would be Matthews who would see what HE means. I guess on South Beach TV we will see who truly has time on their side, make sure to tune in wrestling fans.
