We headed back to the Arnettsville Community center for another night of action. The energy level in the locker room was high, the show started with Jojo in the ring spouting out profanity and pacing the ring like a caged animal as he set the stage verbally for the opening contest.
I wanted a strong opening contest for this one to get the crowd really going, this match actually featured both champions of PvP, with Pat wrestling unmasked in his alternate persona. This match was as solid as I had hoped for with Jojo retaining with his gutwrench suplex.
I gave these two the ball to run with, and they dropped it. I was pretty upset with how sloppy this match turned out, but thankfully they used a lot of brawling. I thought Payne seriously injured after which I called for the hurry up finish with Karnage blasting Payne with a mafia kick.
I spent some time in the back ripping both guys a new asshole, thankfully Trent Darrius was around to take the reigns for a moment.
I don't know if what was going on in the back influenced the product in the ring, but the relatively green Syko kept it basic with Cole who was given a chance to show off a bit because next week he'd be wrestling a special guest. The match went on without a hitch and Cole used a perfect plex to pick up the win.
Dickinson was great in the locker room and he came to the show to put on a great match, I opted to work him so that I could build up Cole for next week. Chris and I put on a solid match, with Dickinson planting me with a brain eater. I sold it as if my life depended on it as Dickinson came away with a victory.
This match was slow and old school, everytime Darrius would get the upperhand Demented would take a powder and argue with the fans using full advantage of the 10 count. Darrius was getting frustrated and it led to Demented getting the advantage working over the neck. The finish came when Demented fought out of a firemans carry and school boy'd Darrius using a handful of tights to pick up the win.
Darrius and the crowd were fuming that Demented got away with cheating, causing me to come out and announce that next week we would feature a title rematch.
