Athena Pro - Sept. 27
Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong
Queen Elizabeth Stadium, Hong Kong
New Territories Tiara
Despite losing the Tiara last week, Act still gets a good pop as she comes to the ring. Lolita gets a good pop from the crowd. She is surprised to see several gothic lolita girls in the crowd; she waves to them and climbs into the ring. Act gets in Lolita’s face right away. The ref separates them and sends them to their corners (this ref will be a good mother some day). The ref calls for the bell.
They come to the center of the ring and shake hands before locking up. Right off the lockup, Lolita shows off her lucha skills and speed. Lolita is showing more confidence than she did last week when she won the Tiara. Act hangs in until she can take advantage of a mistake. Act gets her knees up when Lolita tries a lionsault.
Act tries to cover Lolita but Lolita barely kicks out. Act goes on the offence. Act reverts to her old aggressive style and uses several illegal moves and underhanded tricks to try and put Lolita away. Yoshiko comes walking down the ramp and climbs into the ring. Act backs away a couple steps, looking at Yoshiko. Yoshiko flips off Act, picks up Lolita and bodyslams her hard. The ref calls for the bell.
Winner of the match, by disqualification and still New Territories Tiara champion, Lolita
Act is confused about what just happened. Yoshiko is smiling as she walks back up the ramp. Commissioner Asami Konno comes out on the stage.
Commissioner Konno - Hold it right there Yoshiko. If you think what you just did will cost Act her chance to regain the New Territories Tiara, you are sadly mistaken. Act will face Lolita for the title again. The match will take place at the Fall Brawl pay-per-view on October 20th. But it won’t be a regular singles match. It will be a Fatal-Four-Way match. Lolita will defend against Act Yasukawa, Zeuxis from NWA Mexico, and you.
‘Eastbound and Down’ plays as LuFisto walks out on the ring, wearing jeans, a work shirt, work boots and a ‘Keep On Truckin’ hat and carrying a mic.
LuFisto - Before I get to why I’m out here, I wanna say hello to some friends here tonight. Way up there near the top of section 7 are three of our friends from NWA Mexico, Ayumi Kurihara, Ayako Hamada and Marcela. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the show, especially what I have planned.
Merrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrcedeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees….. I can say your name longer than you can say mine. You didn’t have to beat up little AJ Lee then assault Allysin Kay and Sassy Stephanie to prove how tough and bad you are. I knew that already. But if you’re trying to get a reaction out of me and make me angry, you did that years ago. You didn’t have to beat up girls to send a message, but if you want to play that game, I enjoy playing games too. So it’s my turn to call out someone and beat them up. There is someone I tried to mentor and show how to be a great wrestler while still being a lady, but she didn’t get the lesson. Taya Valkyrie, when you left JPP, you said you wanted to move on in your career. How is being Mima Shimoda’s *BEEP* a career move. Get out here now so I can teach you the lesson you never learned.
Taya eventually comes out, escorted by security and Commissioner Konno. Even when she gets onto the ring apron, she is still arguing. LuFisto grabs her hair and sends her into the ringpost. LuFisto pulls her into the ring. The ref calls for the bell. LuFisto has Taya in the corner and is blatantly choking her. She breaks before the ref counts 5. She chokes again and again, always breaking before 5. The ref gets in between and tells LuFisto to back away. Taya tries for a cheap shot but LuFisto sees it and grabs her fist. LuFisto bites Taya’s hand; Taya is screaming in pain.
Taya punches LuFisto, but that makes LuFisto bite harder. LuFisto lets go of Taya’s hand and begins kicking her over and over and over. Taya collapses in the corner, rubbing her hand. LuFisto pulls Taya up by her hair then takes her down with a sudden DDT. LuFisto lifts up Taya for a bodyslam but slams her in the corner and hooks her feet under the top turnbuckle.
LuFisto walks to the opposite corner. LuFisto runs across, jumps and hits Taya with a delayed dropkick. Taya is still hooked on the top turnbuckle. LuFisto climbs to the top turnbuckle. The ref is warning LuFisto not to do anything. LuFisto smiles and jumps off the turnbuckle, catching Taya in the chin. Taya crumples to the mat. The ref calls for the bell
LuFisto has been disqualified
LuFisto slips out of the ring. She pulls Taya out and onto her shoulders. A cameraman follows as LuFisto carries Taya out of the arena and out the front door of the building. There is a container truck parked on the street. LuFisto heaves Taya into the container and locks the door. She pounds the container and the driver pulls away.
JPP Unified Tag Team Titles
Dark Angels of Destruction look very calm and confident as they come to the ring. They do a few warm ups and test the ropes. Rabbit Dream come out, tossing their little stuffed rabbits and tigers into the crowd. When they climb into the ring, they know they’re in trouble as DAD are staring right through them. Rabbit and Tiger Dream nervously shake hands with Tomoka and Kaori. Both teams return to their corners. Tomoka and Rabbit will start the match. The ref calls for the bell.
Rabbit charges at Tomoka and catches her with a dropkick. She gets up and catches Tomoka again. Rabbit’s third attempt gets caught with a stiff clothesline. Tomoka uses her size and experience advantage to keep Rabbit on the mat. Tomoka tags in Kaori. Rabbit scrambles across the ring, almost getting a tag to Tiger Dream before Kaori catches her.
Rabbit is trying everything she can as Kaori drags her back across the ring. A knee to the head stops Rabbit. Kaori grabs rabbit in a reverse headlock, runs up the turnbuckles, flips backwards, driving Rabbit’s head to the mat with a reverse DDT. Kaori covers Rabbit and gets the three count.

JPP Openweight Title
Will Dark Angel be the one to end Ramu’s 11 month reign as JPP Openweight champion. ‘Children of the Grave’ plays and Dark Angel makes her way out to the ring. She is looking very calm and focused. Ramu’s new song ‘Future Fantasy’ plays as she comes out to the ring. She is proudly wearing the Openweight Title belt. She hands the belt to the ref. The official introductions are made and they both return to their corners. Ayako Hamada walks towards the ring with a cordless microphone in her hand. The crowd erupts into a frenzy of applause. She slaps the hands of some fans as she walks by them.
Ayako Hamada - I'm not here to cause any trouble but I want to make it known that my sights are on the NWA World Women's Championship. I know that I could challenge Kana directly and probably get a title shot that way but I'd rather prove that I deserve a title shot. One of you will walk away from this match as JPP Openweight Champion. It doesn't really matter if you win, Ramu. You're a talented wrestler who I'd face in the ring whenever I get the chance. As for you, Dark Angel, you've proven to be one of the best luchadoras through countless matches in Mexico. Now that you've brought your expertise to Asia, the number of dream matches that can occur are endless. I'm challenging the winner of this match to face me to determine the #1 NWA Women's contender. If I need to face both of you in a three way match, I will. I'm not asking for a title shot for the Openweight title. I just want the belt that means the most to women in the entire National Wrestling Alliance. I will be the NWA World Women's Champion! I'm willing to face and beat whoever stands in the way of achieving that dream! As for tonight's match, may the best woman win!
Ayako Hamada bows to both Ramu Endo and Dark Angel before she turns to walk away from the ring. The crowd is chanting her name as she does so. The ref calls for the bell.
Ramu and Dark Angel come to the center of the ring and shake hands. They back off and circle around a bit. They lockup and the match is on. They both start out slowly, not wanting to give an opening. They both wrestle cautiously, saving their best for when they can take advantage of an opening.
They wrestle back and forth for well over 25 minutes. Ramu begins to take control of the match. Dark Angel is hanging on, kicking out of pin attempts and escaping from submission attempts. Ramu lifts Dark Angel up onto the turnbuckle. Ramu climbs up and sits behind Dark Angel. Ramu grabs her around the waist and takes her over with a spider German Suplex. Ramu flips out and covers Dark Angel. The ref starts the count …1 …2 …the bell rings.
This match is a time limit draw
Mima and Hiroka come out to massive heat from the crowd. They encourage the boos from the crowd. Kana and Manami get a huge pop from the crowd as the walk down the ramp to the ring. Both teams go nose to nose in the middle of the ring. The ref gets them to go to their corners. Mima calls out Manami to start the match. The ref calls for the bell.
They meet each other in the middle of the ring. They exchange “pleasantries” as they are forehead to forehead. They exchange ever increasingly stiff slaps. Mima catches Manami in the gut with a knee. A neckbreaker takes Manami to the mat. Mima pounds on Manami with a series of kicks. Mima tries for a springboard moonsault but Manami gets her knees up. Manami rolls over and tags in Kana.
Before Kana can get to Mima, Mima tags in Hiroka. Kana doesn’t give Hiroka a chance and attacks her as she comes through the ropes. Kana makes an example out of Hiroka, showing her what it takes to be a champion. Hiroka tries to get in some offence but Kana and Manami keep her in their half of the ring and work her over. When they have her beat down, Manami comes in. Manami lifts Hiroka and drives her to the mat head first. Manami covers Hiroka and gets the three count.
Manami Toyota pinned Hiroka with the Japanese Ocean Queen Bee Bomb
Mima comes in to check on Hiroka and help her out of the ring. Kana and Manami are celebrating in the ring. Kana asks Alyson Hau for the ring mic.
Kana - As you all may know, the Fall Brawl pay-per-view is coming up in three weeks. I will be defending the World Women’s Title on that show. I asked the championship committee and the host promoter for permission to choose who I wanted to defend my title against. There are so many great wrestlers here in JPP and all through the NWA who would be great challengers. But there is one wrestler I have always wanted to face. One wrestler I need to face if I want to prove I’m the greatest NWA World Women’s Champion ever. That is why I am challenging…. Manami Toyota. Toyota san, please accept my challenge.
Manami Toyota steps close to Kana and shakes her hand. The title match is set.
