Tag Team Match
AJ Styles and Justin Gabriel
-vs-
Team Awesome
(The Miz and Mike Knox)
RESULT : Team Awesome defeated AJ Styles and Justin Gabriel when Mike Knox pinned Justin Gabriel with the Knox Out in 10:15.AJ Styles and Justin Gabriel
-vs-
Team Awesome
(The Miz and Mike Knox)
Match Notes: The feud between Styles and The Miz has been going on for well over 3 months, and each has claimed victory over the other. The Miz brought in Mike Knox, who has claimed wins over the Television Champion, yet with the Title on the line, Styles has been able to secure the victory. In this match, AJ employed the assistance of Justin Gabriel to do battle against Knox and Miz. It was a good back and forth match, but in the end, Knox was able to pick up another win, and in the possess, he and Miz look to be one step closer to AJ in the attempt to dethrone the champion.
One on One Match
Jim Powers
-vs-
Eric Young
RESULT : Eric Young pinned Jim Powers after a sunset flip power bomb in 05:03.Jim Powers
-vs-
Eric Young
Match Notes: This was a good contest. While Powers was on yet another receiving end of a loss, he is showing that he is learning. He hasn't picked up a in sing last years King of the Ring tournament, but on the other hand, he hasn't quit either.
One on One Match
Ted DiBiase
-vs-
Wes Brisco
RESULT : Ted DiBiase pinned Wes Brisco with the Dream Street in 08:14.Ted DiBiase
-vs-
Wes Brisco
Match Notes: An other good match. Before the action started, Ted said that his partner left for 'greener pasture', and he was fine with that. He felt that Roode was not holding up his end of the work for the past few months. He said they were the best in the CPW history of the tag team division, groomed for gold, destined for greatness. But thanks to greed, it is over... At least for the team. He said he would go on to show that HE was the man who carried the team. Once the match got going, it was clear that Ted was fired up, possibly to prove a point? Wes tried to mount a comeback later in the match, but Ted was just too much for Brisco.
One on One Match
Big E. Langston
-vs-
Kofi Kingston
RESULT : Kofi Kingston pinned Big E. Langston with the Trouble in Paradise in 10:01.Big E. Langston
-vs-
Kofi Kingston
Match Notes: Langston used his power in this match, but had a difficult time keeping Kofi grounded. In what was looking ot be an easy win for Langston, Kofi turned it around and landed the Trouble in Paradise on an over confident Big E for the win. After the match, Big E offered his hand to Kofi, showing that a hard fought match is a hard fought match, and no hard feelings were felt.
CPW Tag Team Championship Match
The Worlds Greatest Tag Team
(Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin)
-vs-
Chris Jericho & Paul Burchill (c)
RESULT : Chris Jericho and Paul Burchill defeated The Worlds Greatest Tag Team when Chris Jericho pinned Charlie Haas with the Codebreaker in 13:48 to retain the CPW Tag Team Championships. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team
(Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin)
-vs-
Chris Jericho & Paul Burchill (c)
Match Notes: Another great match between these two teams, as the WGTT were getting a rematch for the titles they lost just a few days earlier. Both teams traced control of the match, and it looked like the WGTT were going to regain the championships until Jericho hit Haas with the Codebreaker out of desperation to retain the titles, while Benjamin & Burchill were brawling around the time keepers table.
One on One Match
Bo Dallas
-vs-
Caprice Coleman
RESULT : Bo Dallas defeated Caprice Coleman via pinfall in 07:25.Bo Dallas
-vs-
Caprice Coleman
Match Notes: Bo Dallas has been on a role as of late, and continued his 'Bo-leaving' campaign in CPW. Caprice Coleman nearly ended this match before it really had the chance to regain, as Bo was singing and entered the ring the ref rang the bell and Coleman got a near three count off a roll up. As the match progressed, Bo became more vicious and methodical in his attack. In the end, nailed Caprice with what looked like it was going to be a Shining Wizard, but ended up being an un padded knee square in the face to Coleman, knocking him out cold.
One on One Match
Ryback
-vs-
Scott Steiner
RESULT : Ryback pinned Scott Steiner with the Shell Shocked in 07:00.Ryback
-vs-
Scott Steiner
Match Notes: Two power houses rocked the card as Steiner tried to show he was still relevant in the modern era of wrestling, while Ryback was here to continue the domination that he and Sheamus started a few weeks back. It was what many would consider a 'wash' match, as both were kind of slow, and used rest holds, but once Steiner started to show signs of tiring, Ryback kicked it up a notch... or three! He went all out, and used more athletic moves that we are used to (dropkicks, actual takedowns, arm-locks, etc.) his using. Sheamus didn't get involved in the match, as Steiner thought he would. In the end, Ryback picked up the winded Steiner and ended it with the Shell Shocked!
Tag Team Grudge Match
Rob Van Dam & Harry Smith
-vs-
Cody Rhodes & Dustin Rhodes
Special Referee: ?
Rob Van Dam & Harry Smith
-vs-
Cody Rhodes & Dustin Rhodes
Special Referee: ?
RESULT : Rob Van Dam and Harry Smith defeated Cody Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes when Harry Smith pinned 09:55.
Match Notes: In the beginning there was no 'Special Referee' as was announced at the end of last weeks show, so a regular referee sprinted out to officiate the match. The match went back and forth, with the Rhodes' Brothers pulling out all the stops at trying to break the rules. Smith and RVD were able to battle back and take control eventually separating Cody and isolating him.
Late in the match, Smith went to level Cody with a running lariat from the corner, but Cody dropped out of the way and Smith took out the referee! Smith was able to eventually take Cody down, but there was still no referee to make the count. At that point, there was a commotion in the audience, and a masked man came down from the concession area wearing a referee shirt! He hoped the barricade and slid into the ring. Smith looked on with surprise as the man counted only to two before Cody kicked out. As Smith picked up Cody, the man called out to him. The distraction allowed Cody to land a low blow that dropped Smith to his knees! Cody got to his feet and started to yell at the 'referee', then slapped him. The referee decked Cody! As Cody regained his 'composure' he turned around, only to eat a super kick from this mysterious man! As Cody lay in the center of the ring, RVD mounted the corner and hit a 5 Star on Cody and pulled Smith on top. The man counted the pin as the fans went nuts! As the show was closing out, the man started to pull off his mask, but the show faded to black before his identity was revealed!
