So this isn't my longest show ever, it was just a show to get the remaining match or two I wanted on the Retribution card, plus get a final few matches I wanted to do before the closure of this chapter of Hybrid Pro which is at Retribution. Anyways, here are the results-
NWA Hybrid Pro TV Results 04/10/2013
"The Antichrist of Professional Wrestling" Kyle Matthews makes his way out to the ring, with The Prophecy surrounding him.
Matthews: I bet you thought you were really clever using my hold last week in South Beach Daniels, well your wrong because it pissed me off even more than I already was. No more games Daniels, its time to step things up to the final level. You see, there's only this episode of Hybrid Pro TV, then an iPPV and its Fall Brawl, yet there's still 2 members of The Prophecy you are yet to face. They are "The Angel of Death" Azrieal and "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero. So tonight Daniels, your going to face them gauntlet style, and if you win them you might just be ready to face the antichrist!
A big challenge for the saviour of the NWA, but one that I feel he will be up to. We will find out if he can defy the odds later on tonight.
Brian Cage and Kyle O'Reilly vs The Pistols (Matt Taven and Sami Callihan)
Cage found an unlikely tag team partner in Kyle O'Reilly, but they didn't have a lot of cohesion as a unit it has to be said, with the two arguing throughout the match and having several miscommunications. The Pistols however were a well oiled machine, something work well about the combination of Callihan's vicious brawling with Taven's more flashy yet conservative approach. Finally O'Reilly had enough of Cage, smacking him in the head with a kick, leading to Taven nailing the Taven Effect for the 3 count. Is this what we will see on Sunday?
Winners- The Pistols
Oh god, is it that time of the show already. Yes, sadly its Bo Dallas time, he makes his way out but he isn't singing. Indeed Dallas has quite an annoyed look on his face (as opposed to the usual annoying grin) as he takes the mic.
Dallas: Tonight my Bolievers, I was going to sing you all a duet alongside the beautiful and talented Brooke Hogan, but then Austin Aries happened. Last week he smacked me in the back of the head with his TV Title out of jealousy of my fame and fortune (and height), and as such, Brooke didn't feel she'd be safe in a ring with me tonight, she cancelled. You embarrassed me in front of all of my Bolievers, trying to turn them against me and you drove away a truly talented and valuable asset to any company in Brooke from singing a duet for the ages with me. I won't stand for this, I'm challenging you Austin Aries to a match at Retribution.
Austin Aries makes his way down to the ring and takes the mic
Aries: I think everyone who isn't Bo Dallas should be thanking me, I saved you all from a fate worse than death, that duet would have been awful. So its a choice between the night off or beating the hell out of the most punchable wrestler in the entire NWA. I'm going to go with the latter, it'll be my pleasure to shut you up for good Bo Dallas.
Aries leaves as Dallas looks about as offended as anyone possibly could, before shrugging and singing us "Don't Stop Boleiving" as I search for the earplugs.
Christopher Daniels vs "The Angel of Death" Azrieal
Azrieal was a bigger challenge for Daniels than he may have exp3ected initially, for a man who has effectively become Paul London's sidekick he has some skills. It was however largely a one sided affair, with Daniels looking to finish things off as quickly as he could so he'd still be fresh to face D'Angelo Dinero. Daniels would nail the Angels Wings and that kept Azrieal down for 3.
Winner- Christopher Daniels
Christopher Daniels vs "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero
A much more even matchup than the previous contest, with Dinero proving to be more than a match for Daniels. Dinero has been a background figure for most of The Prophecy's run, pulling the strings behind the scenes rather than doing the dirty work, yet his skills are as sharp as ever, he matched Daniels on the mat and in a fight. Indeed Daniels had to pull some of his high flying moves out of his playbook to take Dinero down, and he eventually hat the BME to pin Dinero 1-2-3.
Winner- Christopher Daniels
Daniels celebrates, but before he can relax Kyle Matthews is out on the ramp.
Matthews: I'm sorry Christopher, something entirely slipped my mind. There's actually another member of The Prophecy you haven't yet faced, how silly of me to forget about him. Play his music!
The lucha music begins and here comes El Gran Luchadore, how did I get the feeling this would happen. "The Champion of All of Mexico" makes his way to the ring as Daniels looks a bit worse for wear, can he win this one final matchup.
Christopher Daniels vs El Gran Luchadore
So based on the general lunacy of El Gran Luchadore's behaviour in this matchup, it has to be speculated than Paul London is under the mask this time. He wrestled in such a way that he pretty much managed to offend all of Mexico with his mockery of lucha libre, saying Ole at least 100 times and taking to the top rope for even the simplest of moves like a stomp or a headlock. Daniels finally had enough of this and started beating the hell out of Luchadore, ripping his mask to reveal that it was indeed London under the mask. Daniels than lock in THE HIDAKA LOCK! Kyle Matthews is out almost instantly to break it up and the ref calls for a DQ.
Winner- Christopher Daniels by DQ
Matthews tries to put the Hidaka Lock on Daniels, but this time Daniels is ready and fights back. The Prophecy run out to try and give Daniels a beat down, but The Group are out just as quickly to even the odds as we get a 6 on 6 brawl all around ringside. Officials desperately run out to try and break this thing up as we run out of time on this weeks episode. Join us 1 week on Sunday for Retribution, where The Prophecy and The Group will settle the score!
