Sasha gets a good pop as she comes out and does a few warmups in the ring. Rabbit tosses little stuffed rabbits into the crowd as she comes out. Lorisa comes out, looking very serious and focused. They all shake hands in the middle of the ring and go to their corners. The ref calls for the bell.

Sasha and Rabbit quickly decide to team up against Lorisa. They wear down Lorisa and send her to ringside. Rabbit and Sasha are now fighting each other. Rabbit’s skills show off until Sasha dodges a somersault splash into the corner from Rabbit. Lorisa climbs to the ring apron and pulls Sasha out to the floor. Lorisa climbs into the ring and gets on Rabbit’s back. She locks Rabbit in a double chickenwing. Rabbit tries to reach the bottom rope with her feet, but she isn’t tall enough. Rabbit taps out.

Hannah comes out with her sister, Holly, who is carrying a bag. Holly pulls an old-lady dress out of the bag and pulls it on. She pulls out a curly black wig and puts it on. Holly slips out of the ring and takes a seat in the front row. Britani comes down the aisle followed by Security. Hannah dives through the ropes and attacks Britani.

Hannah gets in a few punches and gouges before Security attacks. Security lifts Hannah off of Britani. Britani gets to her feet and punches away at Hannah who is being restrained by Security. Britani tells Security to throw Hannah into the ring. Security press slams Hannah over the top rope into the ring. Britani calmly steps through the ropes. The ref calls for the bell.

Britani calmly approaches Hannah and goes on the attack. Britani uses all the skills she’s learned, without breaking a rule. She doesn’t try for a submission or pin. She works over Hannah for about 5 minutes. Britani is posing like she’s already won the match. She slips out to the floor to interact with and antagonize some fans. The “old lady” stands up and snaps a picture of Britani using a camera that sets off a blinding flash. Britani is stumbling around, unable to see. Hannah slips out to the floor and rolls Britani back in.

Ramu and Chii walk down the ramp. Chii is wearing her fake title belt and Ramu is wearing her real and fake title belts. They wait in a corner of the ring, watching the ramp. Kana and Riho come out. Riho runs down the ramp and into the ring. She gets in Ramu’s face, poking her and talking to her. Kana gently pulls Riho away. Ramu asks for the ring mic.

Ramu - I know all of you, my great fans are expecting me to share a Great Truth after our victory tonight. But I have decided to share it with you right now. My Great Truth tonight is about our illustrious NWA World Women’s champion. Kana, before I defeat you at Starrcade for that title, I have to defend the great JPP Openweight Title against the winner of the ongoing #1 contender’s tournament. Not that I need your help, but you will have no choice but to ensure I win that title defence.
That is a Great Truth.

Both teams go to their corners and the ref calls for the bell. Chii and Riho will start the match. Before they lock up, Chii pulls a bill out of her boot and hands it to the ref; the ref tosses the bill out into the crowd. Chii freaks a bit when the bill goes flying. Riho takes the opening and goes on the offence. Chii gets back in the match and they give the fans great action.

Chii makes a tag to Ramu. When Ramu comes in, she holds up her hand to stop Riho and points at Kana. Riho goes to her corner and tags in Kana. Kana comes in and approaches Ramu. Out of nowhere, Riho hits Kana in the back with a double knee attack. Ramu and Chii join in on the attack, beating down Kana. They stand over Kana, holding their arms in victory.

#1 JPP Openweight Contender Semi-final

Lisa gets the big hometown pop as she comes down the ramp to the ring. She does some kicks to warm up. Marcela comes out, looking calm and confident. She tests out the ropes then shakes Lisa’s hand. The ref calls for the bell.

They shake hands again and circle around before locking up. Marcela is surprised when Lisa is able to adjust to her lucha style. They go back and forth for almost ten minutes, showing off their best moves. After a series of counters, Marcela manages to lock Lisa in a surfboard. Lisa tries to break free but has to tap out.

#1 JPP Openweight Contender Semi-final

The internet has been abuzz this week with speculation about this match. The rumour mill has been going wild about Lin turning heel or Syuri’s recent change of attitude being a fake. Before the match, highlights of their past encounters are shown on the Purotron. Lin and Syuri both come out, looking calm and focused. They go nose to nose in the middle of the ring. The ref separates them and calls for the bell.

Syuri starts off a bit cautious giving Lin the early advantage. She slowly gets into the action and the match evens up. Knowing each other so well, they know each other’s every move and counter move. After about 15 minutes of great back and forth action, Lin finds an opening. Lin takes Syuri over with a tilt-a-whirl head scissors transitioned into a schoolboy rollup. The ref makes the three count.

Marcela comes back out and engages in a staredown with Lin. While still staring, they shake hands.
