Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. Rampage Brown
Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum vs. Rampage Brown
Even in the opening contest you could see the calibur of talent that would be participating in this tournament. Rampage is a vicious individual who would control the pacing of the match by cutting off Lionheart at every opportunity getting the London crowd riled up as they cheered for Lionheart to make a come back. Rampage was absolutely stunned when the cheering crowd energized McCallum who came back firing on all cylanders hitting a huge spear that got the crowd as well as Lionheart to their feet. McCallum would stalk Brown who was a bit dazed, planting him with a rock bottom before ascending to the top rope to score with a frog splash to become the first man to move on in the tournament!

Sha Samuels vs. Iestyn Rees
Sha Samuels vs. Iestyn Rees
Sha Samuels got an absolutely huge ovation from his hometown crowd, and these two men brawled wildly with the crowd football chanting for Samuels who would clothesline Rees out of the ring only to soak up the cheers from the crowd. Rees looked pretty annoyed on the outside trying to regain his composure and find a way to derail Samuels. Sha tried to reach out of the ring to grab Rees but ended up taking a thumb to the eyes, and from that point Rees was in the drivers seat in this match up. Iestyn would target the thick leg of Samuels trying to take away some of his power as well as take the crowd out of the match. Rees would taunt the crowd having stopped the impressive Samuels leaving him clutching his knee in the middle of the ring, but the taunting only gave Samuels the chance to recover, wrapping up Rees in a small package to narrowly come away with a three count and the advance.

Dave Mastiff vs. Rob Terry
Dave Mastiff vs. Rob Terry
Every time these two behemoths clashed the ring would suffer, as both men were on unsure ground not used to fighting someone that matches them in size and power! The match wasn't a technical affair as both men decided to brawl it out instead. Mastiff took a stiff shot from Terry that would bust his lip wide open, but the sight of blood only served to enrage Dave as he answered back with heavy hands of his own! Mastiff would score with a huge lariat but to everyone's surprise Terry was able to kick out! Terry would fight out of the grasp of Mastiff trying for a chokeslam but big Dave would fight free and blast Terry with another violent lariat, this one would give him the victory.

Mason Ryan vs. Wade Barrett
The bare knuckled brawler, Wade Barrett went to war with the colossus from Cardiff and Barrett came out of the gate swinging. Barrett would throw a barrage of heavy hands leaving welts all over the body of Ryan who tried his best to cover up against the ropes, forcing the ref to step in and create separation. Barrett's over zealous attitude would hinder him as Ryan caught him with a blackhole slam for a long two count! Barrett would be a bit more careful after getting the wind taken out of him, and it would pay off big time. Barrett tried to cap off the match lifting up Ryan in a fireman's carry trying for Wasteland, but Ryan would slip free and score with a huge full nelson slam that should have garnered him the victory but Barrett wasn't going to be denied! Ryan would show his power with a dead lift belly to back suplex trying to punish Wade for getting up. Mason would try for another dead lift suplex but Barrett fought out with a series of heavy hands to the face of Ryan before scooping up and driving him to the mat with Wasteland to advance after an extremely hard fought bout.

Magnus vs. CJ Banks
Magnus vs. CJ Banks
CJ Banks tried to make a fool of Magnus with his impressive technical prowess, out chain wrestling Magnus. The second time these two locked up Banks took the advantage again but this time Magnus would slap the taste out of Banks mouth giving a nice smirk. Magnus decided to take the match to the outside where he could negate the wrestling ability of Banks and inflict some punishment. Banks would get frustrated trying to use a chair on Magnus but the ref would come from behind and pull away the chair from Banks, leaving Magnus an opportunity to capitalize on the distraction hitting a huge DDT on the ringside floor! Magnus looked to be in control as he rolled Banks into the ring looking for the victory but Banks would roll him up with a small package that almost got him the victory but Magnus was able to kick out! Magnus wouldn't let up at this point trying to keep Banks from making a comeback but Banks almost snuck away with another pin as he rolled Magnus up with a quick school boy. Magnus was able to kick out again and immediately started raining down rapid fire elbow drops on Banks before heading out and back into the ring with a slingshot elbow drop to cap off the sequence. Magnus looked pumped up going for the Mag Daddy Driver but Banks would slip free rolling up Magnus who would reverse the momentum holding Banks down long enough for a three count.

"The Anarchist" Doug Williams vs. "The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre
"The Anarchist" Doug Williams vs. "The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre
McIntyre was all over Williams before the opening bell attcking him from behind trying to make quick work of his opponent to conserve energy for tomorrow. Doug is as tough as they come and fought back pissed off by Drew's cheap attack in such a prestigious tournament. Williams would blister the youngster with hard chops and European uppercuts trying to send a clear message that "The Anarchist" is a tournament favorite for a reason! McIntyre looked dazed as Williams plyed his craft putting McIntyre through hell, and it looked like Doug would set up for the chaos theory but Drew would get a boot up low blowing Williams, allowing him to drive Doug to the mat head first with the future shock DDT.

Danny Burch vs. Jack Gallagher
Danny Burch vs. Jack Gallagher
These two men put on a very technically sound match up, going counter for counter with Gallagher taking the low road by jamming his knee into the skull of Burch after Burch narrow slipped from a seated hammerlock. Once Burch realized what lengths that Gallagher was willing to go to win this match Burch dipped into his own repitore of viciousness. Danny would light the chest of Gallagher up with chops that would echo through the East London pub. Burch would try to press his advantage but Jack would go after the arm of Burch like a pitbull really trying to wrench his shoulder from it's socket. Gallagher a graduate from the Snake Pit, the same place that Dynamite Kid learned to ply his craft, know's exactly how to punish someone. Burch came close to tapping out a few times but thanks to the London crowd he was able to keep himself in the match. Burch was able to fight back with one arm and eventually was able to score with the London Bridge (Suspension DDT).

"The Star Attraction" Mark Haskins vs. "The Boss" Johnny Moss
"The Star Attraction" Mark Haskins vs. "The Boss" Johnny Moss
In the final match of the day one tournament matches the power of Johnny Moss was displayed against the high risk of Mark Haskins. Haskins tried hard to keep himself from the grasp of Moss, scoring with dropkicks and chop blocks trying to slow down "The Boss" as much as possible. Johnny is as tough as they come and once he got his hands on Haskins he would pummel the X division athlete with brutal clubbing blows before tossing him unceremoniously with an overhead suplex. Haskins would escape to the outside with Moss following him out to continue the assault, but Mark would score with a stunning superkick, quickly scurrying into the ring to launch himself back out of the ring onto Moss! The crowd was behind Haskins as he tried to rally himself towards a victory in this match. Moss was able to come back on the outside beating the tar out of Haskins whipping him roughly into the guard rail before pulling him back into the ring. Haskins came out of nowhere with a desperation Ace Cutter that almost got both men counted out with a double KO but both men were able to stir exchanging chops and punches in the middle of the ring with Moss taking the advantage with his sheer power, until Haskins snapped off another superkick! Haskins would follow up with a springboard crossbody but Moss would catch him out of the air spiking him with a tombstone piledriver to put "The Star Attraction" away.
NWA UK X TITLE BOUT
PAC vs. Prince Devitt vs. Noam Dar vs. El Ligero
PAC vs. Prince Devitt vs. Noam Dar vs. El Ligero
The NWA UK X title was on the line in this one as all four men showed how bad they wanted to set the bar for the championship. Ligero had the crowd in his corner while Noam Dar had quite the opposite, as the hot London crowd poked fun at his Scottish heritage, which really took Dar out of this match mentally. Ligero cleared the ring hitting everyone but Devitt with an armdrag sending them out of the ring. Devitt would reverse the armdrag attempt but Ligero would counter that with a head scissors sending him out of the ring to join the other three men! Ligero would take to the skies with a front flip over the top crashing down on everyone as the crowd went wild! Ligero tried to get the pin on Dar but Pac would pull him out of the ring by the boot, where both men would brawl on the outside as Noam would go to the top looking to hit a huge leap to the outside but Devitt would slide in and crotch him on the top, putting him in a tree of woe. Devitt would hit a double stomp off the top onto Dar before tossing himself over the ropes getting his own dive onto Ligero and PAC! This is the NEW NWA UK and it had the crowd in a frenzy! Dar would get his chance to take a dive over the ropes soon after but would stop short and flip off the crowd in heel fashion, only to get blindsided by a kick from PAC. PAC would soak up the cheers from the fans as he tossed Dar out of the ring into both Ligero and Devitt before climbing the ropes and making the most insane shooting star dive out of the ring onto everyone! The Man that Gravity Forgot would be unforgettable after that highlight clip! All four men were absolutely battered at this point trying to string together enough to get the victory and the X division championship, with Dar locking on a kneebar on Ligero who had a bit of a limp and Dar is always one to exploit an opponents weakness. PAC was able to break it up with a running shooting star press but ended up catching a vicious kick to the temple from Devitt right after that crumpled PAC immediately. Ligero tried to fight against Devitt but soon fell victim to the Bloody Sunday and with no one left to break up the pin, Devitt became the NWA UK X champion!
