The first edition of UK Riot opens with Lionheart's crowning as the UK champion, before "Song 2" by Blur accompanies an opening credit montage. The actual show opens with the NWA UK X division champion, Prince Devitt! Devitt is very proud of the fact that he's become the first X champion here in NWA UK but he wants more! Starrcade is coming to Wembley Stadium and "The AMERICAN Dragon" will be defending the title against Rey Cometa from NWA MEXICO. The resurgence of wrestling in the UK needs to be cemented by having a UK wrestler showing that they can beat with the best in the world. Devitt demanded that NWA President, Dustin Smith come out and add him to the match at Starrcade! Mr. Smith would come out and deny Devitt the chance! Devitt was outraged as he stormed around the ring making the demand again, but the NWA President liked the match as is, and it would need something to make adding Devitt worth it. Eventually Dustin would suggest that if Devitt thinks he can beat the best in the world he should put something on the line as well, the NWA UK X championship! It's all or nothing for Devitt and after a few moments thought, Devitt would agree to put his title on the line at Starrcade, with the winner of the match holding the NWA World Jr title as well as the NWA UK X title!

"The Shooting Star" Kris Travis vs. "The Anarchist" Doug Williams
"The Shooting Star" Kris Travis vs. "The Anarchist" Doug Williams
An arrogant Kris Travis came into the match smacking gum loudly as he got nose to nose with the veteran, but Doug Williams would pop him with an ear ringing slap to the head knocking Travis down forcing him to crawl back into the corner shocked. Doug would smirk before grabbing the boot of Travis pulling him towards the middle of the ring, but a hopping Travis would try to defend himself only to get whipped dragon style. Travis spent a lot of the time avoiding Williams and picking at the crowd trying to get them into the match and show itself. The Cardiff crowd bit and really got excited as Williams finally got a hold of Travis twisting him like a pretzel, Travis tried to kick Williams between the legs out of frustration but Doug would catch the boot and spin Travis around executing the Chaos Theory german suplex to secure the win in the opening contest.
TAG TEAM BOUT
TMDK(Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) vs. Joel Redman & Iestyn Rees
TMDK(Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls) vs. Joel Redman & Iestyn Rees
Hade Vansen came out sitting at commentary with Bradshaw and Burridge watching his former stable mates, Rees and Redman as they faced off against the Australian duo in TMDK. The teams styles were so different with TMDK using a strong style approach as opposed to Rees and Redman using a very traditional mat wrestling style. The game plan for Rees and Redman was seperating the smaller Haste from his partner and keeping him from using his muscular legs from being a factor. Rees would let Haste slip from his grip and ended up eating a brutal kick that almost knocked him out! Shane would tag out and from that point TMDK started to fire on all cylinders and even got the crowd to go wild! Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi chants filled the building as TMDK looked to finish the match with Haste blasting Redman with a Go 2 Sleep to pick up the win.
After the match Rees picked up Redman off the mat as Vansen climbed into the ring saying something to Rees as well as Redman before climbing out of the ring. Iestyn looked to be contemplating something as the show went to commercial break.
SINGLES BOUT
Owen Phoenix vs. Kenny Omega
Owen Phoenix vs. Kenny Omega
This was a fast paced match against two men who will surely be contenders for Prince Devitt's X title as well as the NWA World Junior Weight title in the future. Omega brought in a comedic styling to the match and both men seemed to be more focused on a great match which is a refreshing change. Omega had the size advantage and that allowed him to control the majority of the match but Owen would hit flashes of offense that kept him in the match and got the crowd on his side as he went counter for counter with Omega, but ended up getting hit with Croyts Wrath for a very near fall! Owen was able to hang in and almost scored the win with a sloppy Falcons Arrow but Omega was able to kick out continuing the brutal high risk match. Omega wanted to hit another Croyts Wrath but Owen would fight out and hit a leaping enziguri but Omega was able to stay on his feet while Owen would come off the ropes looking to continue his assault, Omega would flatten Phoenix with a Hadouken!

Mark Haskins vs. CJ Banks
Mark Haskins vs. CJ Banks
Haskins has developed a nice following in NWA UK thanks to his high flying style. CJ Banks came into this one all business wanting to raise his rank after falling short in the Coronation Tournament. Banks game plan was to keep Haskins from taking to the skies targetting the knee of Haskins with ruthless intent as Haskins tried desprately to protect himself but Banks was like a pitbull even shoving the ref away a couple times which almost got him in trouble. Haskins tried to hobble his way through this match throwing a superkick but Banks would catch the boot and spin Haskins only to get hit with another superkick! Haskins went for the pin but only got a two count as Banks checked to make sure his jaw was still attached before rolling up Haskins and trying a few times to eek out a quick pin but Haskins would keep getting free until he could make space trying to springboard out of the corner only to have his knee give out as Banks took advantage battering Haskins with european uppercuts going for a complete 10 giving the crowd hell for chanting him on. Banks tried for the cloverleaf submission but Haskins would roll him up for a two count, Banks tried to rebound but Haskins was lightning quick with another superkick this one would give him the victory!

"The Icon" Noam Dar vs. El Ligero
The crowd was all over the Scottish born Dar and were completely behind El Ligero in this exciting match up. The two young talents would go hold for hold trying to one up the other with Ligero getting a cheer when he'd come out on top, and Dar getting completely dogged when he'd come out winning a sequence. Dar is so talented but he would let the fans get into his head and it didn't help when he tried to whip Ligero off the ropes but Ligero would catch and hang onto the ropes getting a pop from the crowd. Noam tried to knock Ligero off the ropes but ended up getting head scissoring Dar out of the ring almost immediatly hitting a springboard moonsault out of the ring onto Dar getting the crowd into a frenzy. Ligero would soak in the admiration of the crowd leaning against the railing letting the fans touch on him as they cheered him on in this match. Dar would come back and Ligero tried to make him look like a fool again but Dar would one up Ligero this time and would dump him with a belly to back variation on the apron where the only give would be Ligero's spine. Dar would use the ropes to start attacking the leg of Ligero trying to soften him up for the knee bar but it was too little to late with Ligero spiking Dar with a springboard tornado DDT!

"The Future of UK Wrestling" Drew McIntyre w/ Alex Shane vs. "The Hooligan" Danny Burch
Drinkin' Fightin' Danny Burch would come out to the ring feeding off the energy that El Ligero helped generate in the last match as he really plays to the crowd hopping the security railing and spending some time with the crowd. Burch seemed all for starting a riot goading McIntyre to come out into the crowd to fight like a real man! Drew looked pissed as he argued with the ref to get Burch into the ring to start the match. Danny would call Drew a wanker before threating to knock out Alex Shane at ringside before climbing into the ring ready to get the match started. This match was a fight with Burch looking to have fun in a brawlers environment but Drew would take the match to the mat where he could get away from the heavy hands of Burch. McIntyre looked strong once he was able to spin the match in his favor and Alex Shane was very helpful at ringside advising Drew towards a win. Burch has been a very bad guy and still employs some dirty tricks even with the fans support, using a sweeping kick to the back of McIntyres knee before hammering McIntyre with stiff shots trying to soften him up for the suspension DDT but Drew was able to hang in the match. Burch tried once more to build momentum but Shane would grab his boot distracting him enough for Drew to nearly take Danny's head off with a brutal boot! Drew capped off the match with the FutureShock DDT, pushing Burch's ko'd body away after picking up the win. Alex Shane is very much a factor in Drew's corner and he has to be in line for a match against who ever wins tonight's main event!
NWA UK CROWN BOUT
Johnny Moss vs. Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum(c)
Johnny Moss vs. Adrian "Lionheart" McCallum(c)
These two men had wrestled for the crown at Coronation after a long night of action, it forced both men to dig deep. This match allowed both men time to rest up and focus on one another after their first encounter was one to watch. The match started off slow with both men feeling each other out, seeing how much energy they actually have opposed to what they brought to the last match. Moss was more aggressive in this contest after losing the last one against Lionheart trying so hard to capture the crown that eluded him. Moss would hammer away at the champion with brutal european uppercuts. Moss would use a slow pacing to control the match putting Adrian through hell targeting the champions back trying to take away the power of McCallum. Lionheart will always live up to his name overcoming the pain in his spine as he fought back against Moss chopping down the stout tree getting fired up with the crowd, sizing up Moss for a rock bottom that wouldn't come as Moss fought back with elbows and eventually worked his way into tossing Adrian with a german suplex for a near fall. This left both men down in the ring tired, it almost resulted in a double count out but both men just wanted it too bad. Lionheart would score with the Rock bottom this time for a two count. Lionheart would try to will himself up the ropes for a frog splash but Moss would get up and german suplex him off the second rope for a near fall! Moss dropped the straps looking to finish off the champion going for yet another suplex but Adrian would fight for his life before running the ropes and hitting the dazed Moss with a big time spear before hopping up and going for the frog splash but Moss would get his knees up stopping the match dead for a moment as both men tried to regain their composure. Hade Vansen, Johnny Moss's old manager would come out at this point cheering on his old client! The ref would command that Vansen keep his distance from the ring as the match continued with Moss going back to work on the back of Lionheart. Vansen was on the outside yelling at this point trying to help Moss take the crown. Johnny tried for the tombstone piledriver but McCallum would fight free bending Moss back and picking him up for a Tombstone but Moss would twist out and he eventually drove Lionheart's head into the mat. The ref was a bit distracted by Vansen's yelling to notice that Lionheart's foot actually slid under the bottom rope as he counted the three!
Johnny Moss was beside himself as the throne was brought out. "Lord" William Regal would come out onto the ramp as well, but PM Nigel McGuinness would burst from behind the curtain letting the angry crowd know he saw what happened. The decision is reversed and Lionheart is still the champion! Moss and Vansen were fuming at Nigel until "The Twisted Genius" Dean Ayass made his presence known as he demanded that Nigel compensate Moss for "screwing" him out of the championship. After a moments thought Nigel announced that at STARRCADE, it will be one last match between Moss and McCallum for the championship! Dean kept prodding about how tonight's match ended and eventually Nigel added that the match will have no DQ and falls will count anywhere in Wembly Stadium! The Twisted Genius would smirk, and you'd have to believe he's got something up his sleeve.
