Big E. Langston

Harry Smith

Result : Harry Smith pinned Big E. Langston with the Saito Suplex in 08:12.

= Both men were eager to get a win. Big E wanted a real test, and Smith wanted momentum as he was catching Ziggler and the North American Title. Both men pulled out the stops, using every move they could to try and put the other one down. Big E hit his finisher early, but Smith was able to kick out. Harry was able to finally put the bigger Langston down when Smith avoided a huge corner splash from Big E. Smith hit the dazed Langston with the Saito Suplex for the win. After the match, Harry took the mic and said that hew was going to be at StarrCade, and he would be the one walking out with the North American Championship!

Interview with AJ Styles

AJ came out holding a briefcase. He took a mic and said that at StarrCade, there is a Junior Heavyweight Championship match, and it is a 'Put up or Shut up' situation. The fans want to see the tangible outcome of the match. But what would AJ bring? His Career? His CPW contract? How about a Championship?

(AJ opens up the briefcase and introduces the new CPW Junior Heavyweight Championship! He holds it up and then places it over his shoulder)

AJ: As the champion, I am..

(AS Gets cut off by Shawn Michaels)

SM: AJ, AJ, AJ... You ARE a great wrestler.. One of the best in the business today! Your match at Battle of the Belts proved that. You are a former NWA World Champion, and, frankly, worthy of this championship, HOWEVER!

AJ: However what?

SM: However, I can't just let you run around bringing in belts like this. You want to go to StarrCade.. I get that. You want to prove you have the credentials.. NOONE is doubting that. You want to take this belt into that match? You better be the champion!

AJ: I Am the champion!

SM: No, you are holding a belt. The winner of a Fatal 4 way WILL be the champion and the man who WILL going to StarrCade!

AJ: Wha?? How?

SM: Tonight, the Junior Heavyweight Champion will be crowned! AJ Styles versus Kofi Kingston versus Justin Gabriel versus Eric Young!

(Shawn leaves as AJ pats the belt and smiles.)

Result : Rhino pinned Ryback with the Gore in 02:03.
= A huge match for both monsters of the ring. Many fans figured this match wouldn't last longs, and they were right. Ryback tried to get the match over fast, but Rhino had the jump on the bigger man. Rhino attacked Ryback as he made his entrance! Rhino used a folding chair, a fans beer, and even stuffed a hotdog in the face of Ryback, in an attempt to humiliate him. Rhino threw Ryback into the rails, softening him up. As Rhino trued to throw him into the ring post, Ryback reversed it and sent Rhino crashing into the post! Rhino tried to shake it off, but Ryback went on the attack. Since neither man had entered the ring, there was nothing the ref could do, but wait. Ryback set up a table and tried to choke slam Rhino, but he just could not do it one handed, so he hit him with a double handed choke bomb though the ringside table. Ryback took too long to get Rhino into the ring, allowing him time to recover. Rhino played loopy as Ryback rolled Rhino into the ring and the match started. As Ryback struts around the ring, and starts to get cocky, Rhino gets to his feet and hits Ryback with a GORE! Rhino covered Ryback for the three, as Ryback struggled to catch his breath!

Result : Rob Van Dam pinned Shelton Benjamin after a rolling senton in 07:29 to retain the CPW Television Championship.
= This was a great match that showcased the talent of both men. RVD was fresh of his resent wins over The Miz and Shelton was excited from his recent trips around the world. Both men dazzled the fans and they showcased their skills. In the end, it was RVD who was the winner with his experience and showmanship.

Fall 1 : AJ Styles beat Kofi Kingston via an Asai moonsault into an inverted DDT in 10:00
Fall 2 : Justin Gabriel beat Eric Young via the 450 Splash in 17:20
Fall 3 : AJ Styles beat Justin Gabriel via the Styles Clash in 24:16
Result : AJ Styles defeated Eric Young, Justin Gabriel and Kofi Kingston to win the CPW Junior Heavyweight Championship

= This was as good as it gets! All four men went into this match wanting a trip to StarrCade and a new Championship. Kingston was the first to be eliminated when AJ pined him following an Inverted DDT. Eric and Justin then double teams on AJ for a few minutes until AJ was able to bail from the ring and Eric tried to roll up Justin for the quick count. Justin and Eric Battled for a few minutes with Justin dropping Eric with a Super kick, then went to the top rope. AJ held Erik down as Justin hit the 450 splash to eliminate him. AJ and Justin battled back and forth in an epic match. Many times it looked like Justin would be victorious, but in the end, AJ was able to put away Gabriel and win the match, the title and the trip to StarrCade!

(Alex Riley and Antonio Banks)

Result : Chris Jericho and Paul Burchill defeated Team AA (Alex Riley and Antonio Banks) when Chris Jericho pinned Antonio Banks with the Codebreaker in 05:19.
=This match was decent, until Banks got in trouble and was trying to make the tag, but Alex dropped off the apron and walked back to the dressing room. As Banks turned around Jericho hit the Codebreaker for the win.

CPW Heavyweight Championship Match
Sheamus

Cody Rhodes (c)

Result : Cody Rhodes defeated Sheamus by disqualification in 10:25 to retain the CPW Heavyweight Championship after The Masked Man interfered against Cody Rhodes.

= The match came about as Sheamus said HE knew who the masked man was and would give Cody the name if he would give him a Title match. After the events of the last show, Cody was willing to give the match, if only to get the name of his tormentor. Both men worked well, with Sheamus using his power to wear down the champion. Cody used his speed to out wrestle his challenger. In the end, the masked man, this time in a full body suit came out and looked to attack Sheamus, but blasted Cody with the title, and then he blasted Sheamus! Them man took the title, and then took a mic. Before he spoke he placed a voice changer over his moth and said: "Cody, soon... Soon. Soon you will know my name!" The man dropped the mic and left with the title as the show ended.

Great show! It's going to be fun for me to write a quadruple Junior Heavyweight Championship match. Seeing that only one of the participants in from Mexico (Rey Cometa), I'll just run it as a 4 way single eliminations match with the last one standing winning all four Championships! Keep up the great work!

Sorry for the delay in replying to this, haven't had a chance to read until now. Some very solid action on this show, Langston putting Smith over on his way out is classy. Rhino is an interesting choice for Starrcade for sure. The Rhodes/Masked Man story has me intrigued, and I'm pretty eager to know who the man under the mask is. Also congrats to AJ on his title win, the 4 way at Starrcade gets more and more interesting by the day.
