News: Marcus Anthony captures the Ohio Valley Southern Title

Posting this early just to get it out of the way. Will begin posting regular cards with a TV taping set for Wednesday January 8, and following the OVW schedule of a "Saturday Night Special" the first Saturday of every month.
At the January 5th edition of the Saturday Night Special at the Davis Arena, Marcus Anthony along with manager Timmy Danger, successfully capture the NWA Ohio Valley Southern Heavyweight championship. The victory featured the interference of Danger's other charge Smooth Johnny Spade. Danger has informed Ohio Valley that there will be a title celebration on January 8 at the Davis Arena at the next TV taping. In addition to that, Danger has put all of the NWA on notice to watch out for Marcus Anthony should Ohio Valley not provide satisfactory competition.
Other matches scheduled for Wednesday's tapings include a final confrontation between former tag team partners in The Best Team Ever, when Rudy Switchblade battles Jessie Godderz. Paredyse will defend the TV Title against Joe Coleman of The Marauders, as well as a #1 contenders match for a shot at the Southern Tag Team Title when The Mobile Homers along with Brittany DeVore, take on the pair of Dylan Bostic and Evan Markopoulos. There are also rumors regarding the Ohio Vallet femme fatales division and the championship, with an announcement expected to clarify what is going on.
