This is a quick show to set up my first shows.

Nwa Nola Commish Ted DiBiase comes to the ring holding The City Championship.

TD:" Welcome everybody to the first ever Nwa Nola Show. Over the next couple weeks we bring you the best wrestlers in the world. In my hand is our first championship the City Champion( he holds up the belt it has picture of the city, and the word Nola on it). This belt represents the best city in the world, so the best wrestler should hold it. Tonight we will have a four man tournament crown the champ. The four wrestlers in the tournament will Luke Hawx, Sam Shaw, Wes Adams, and Adam Page. Let's go to the ring for our first match."


Match#1 First Round Match

Luke Hawx defeats Wes Adams via pinfall. When Hawx hits a cross arm neckbreaker on Adam.

The crowd goes wild when the local boy Hawx comes out. Hawx and Adams do not wrestle, the fight all over the ring. Adams get a near fall with a big boot. Hawx recover to hit the Nola Rising( Cross Arm Neckbreaker) for the win.

Match#2

Portia Perez defeats Ms Natural via pinfall. Perez wins the match with the Just facelock. 

The crowd where really into this women's match. Perez and Natural prove that women are great wrestlers. In the end Perez was just to much for Ms Natural. Perez hits just Facelock for the win.

Match# 3 First Round Match

Sam Shaw W/ Taeler Hendrix defeats Adam Page via pinfall. Shaw wins the match with a Shaw Shank( a double knee face buster).

This was a good match with both men looking good. The crowd does have a favorite between the two men. Page went for his standing shooting star, but Shaw put his knees up. Then hit the Shaw Shank for the win.

Intermission 

Match#4

The N.O. Fight Club( John Saxson & Steve Anthony) defeats Bryon Wilcott & Bolt Brady via pinfall. N.O. Fight Club wins the match when Saxson hits a brainbuster on Brady, followed by Athony hitting a 450.

This was a spot fest tag team when faster Brady and Wilcott take a early control of the match. The veteran Club slows down the pace then finally get the win with a timely double team.

The ring Announcer  a that this Sunday we will have our first T.V.show on CW Nola 38 at 10:35 P.M.

Match#5

Rich Swann & Buku Dao & Athena defeats Alabama Attitude(Corey Hollis & Mike Posey) & Claudia Del Solis via pinfall. Swann hits a Tornado spin kick on Posey for the win.


This was a real crowd pleaser with all eight people getting a chance to shine. The real star of the match was Swann who got the win. With a Tornado spin kick.

Match#6 finals for the City Championship

Sam Shaw W/ Taeler Hendrix defeats The Southern Stomper Luke Hawx via pinfall. Shaw wins when he hits the Shaw hits the Breaking point( Diving Leg drop) on Hawx.

We saved the best match for last. Both men pulled out all the stops to get the win. Hawx hit the Nola Rising on Shaw, but knocked down the ref also, out crowd a man with a bandanna over his face jump the railing and knocks Hawx out with left hook. Shaw gets to his feet see' s that Hawx is out. He climbs the top rope and hits the Breaking point. Sam Shaw is the first ever Nwa Nola City Champion!!!!

I am going to start by saying I promoted Portia Perez for a good long while, and I'm glad she has found a new home where it looks like she can be a success. I like the set up here, I actually took some time to look into some of the local talent you are using and I am intrigued. Hopefully, once I've established my own roster through my shows and I am able to bring in more outside guys and do cross promotion, I will be able to get some of these guys up north to work. Some guys I've known for a long time and have had interest in, like Wilcott, Hollis, Posey, and, of course, Luke Hawx. I think the right guy went over in the final, however, as I am a fan of Sam Shaw. I like his raw energy, his agility, the whole package. Buku Dao stands out as a young man I do have a lot of excitement for, however, and I'd really like give him a chance to work the Massachusetts crowd down the line. Good start here, though, and I hope it's just the beginning, as I'm looking forward to keeping up with this.

Solid first show here, short but with more to come its perfectly fine. Much like Joe said there's a lot of quality young talent on your roster to build around, if I had to pick one whose progress I'm most interested in it would be Rich Swann, he's been a standout in DGUSA/EVOLVE for a long time yet hasn't broken through in our world yet. Shaw is an interesting choice for first champion even if I haven't seen much of his work, much like Joe said I think the right man went over, though I've been a fan of Luke Hawx since he was Altar Boy Luke and would love to see him do well as well. Perhaps we will get a rematch in the near future. Anyways good first show man.

Nice first show, and congrats to Shaw for taking the title. Your roster has my interest and I really wanna see what you do with it. I will say you may want to reread your show before posting, some of the sentence structure could use some work, another thing that stood out was you called the six man an eight man. It's just little stuff but I'd like to throw some constructive stuff your way to help make your product better. Like I said I enjoyed the read keep up the good work man and I'm glad to have you in the alliance!

Interesting choice in giving Shaw the title. Will be watching to see how things go from here. Also more a fan of Hawx so hopefully his loss is not a sign of things to come for him and he can rebound. 10:35 start time for TV, that's different.

Thanks for everybody for the positive feedback. JP, when I was young Wold Class came on Sunday at 10:35. I always thought it was cool. As for Luke Hawx he is my main guy. The city belt is like my T.V. title. Hawx is my main face, I think he does not need a belt to get over.

Yeah, the 10:35 in the morning start time. That is something from the days of yore.

Yeah gotta love that start time. Interesting and kooky, I like.

Must admit don't watch hardly any wrestling these days so my knowledge of the local talent here is sparse. But that's not a bad thing for you. If you build up your local talent and give them character they will get over in our world.

I will look some of these guys up.
