After the match, Sting took the mic and addressed the fans and warned others in the NWA that he is here only to guide the Impact Players to the NWA Titles. He has been looking for a team with promise for a while now, and he feels that he has found that team in Ryder and Hawkins. They are young, hungry and are looking for a good leader. He said he feels that they have been misused in the past, and while both are great singles, they can conquer the world as a team. Each has their role to play, and his is to offer guidance and support. He knows that this will not last forever, but he is ready to do what he can.

AJ came out and said that Bryan Danielson got the better of him in their last two match's. He said that will be the last time he falls to the champion. He is going to put his title on the line. He said that Prince Devitt is also a worthy contender, but just not in the same league as Danielson and himself. He hopes that Prince will prove him wrong, and help to produce THE match of the year, or just be noted as a participant in the match of the year. AJ said that he has high expectations that there will be pain, possibly some blood and broken bones.. but for sure, there will be excitement in this division like never before and at StarrCade, the new era begins! The Styles era!

RESULTS : Chris Jericho & Paul Burchill defeated The Untouchables when Chris Jericho pinned Sheamus with the Codebreaker in 07:44 to retain the CPW Tag Team Championships.

After Burchill & Jericho were able to retain the CPW Tag Team Titles in a hard fought match, they took the mic and addressed the NWA World Tag Champs, Jimmy Rave & John Morrison, along with Lena Yada & Rockstar Spud. Jericho said that he had forgotten more about this business than the four of them COMBINED have ever learned! He said he may not be the 'King of the World', but after StarrCade, he will be! Burchill addressed Jimmy, and said he was invited, but didn't feel he had anything to prove by entering a tournament in the UK. He is past his days of wrestling in the circus. He paid his time, shed his blood. At StarrCade, he would show Jimmy why he didn't enter.. He is a winner and the UK can't handle him!

HS : Here is where it all began. My father was born in this city. He began training here with his cousin, The Dynamite Kid. The world started to opened up for my father here. It will also be where I intend to focus my energy, my desire, my drive... My drive to become champion! You see it was in front of 80,355 screaming English wrestling fans at Wimble Stadium, the site of StarrCade, that he won the WWF Intercontinental Championship. His proudest moment. He won in front of his fans, his family. In reality, his journey had come full circle! I will add another championship when I outlast Bif Busick, Samoa Joe, Tyler Black, Adam Cole and the champion, Dolph Ziggler to climb the ladder and take the North American Championship!

(He pauses for a moment)

HS : Don't get me wrong, A TLC match will be brutal. No doubt bloody. Careers will be cut short. Every man who walks into this match will walk out a very, VERY different man. Each will leave something in that ring. I will leave nearly everything in that ring, but in the end, I will also walk out as the new champion. I will walk out having fulfilled my goal, my destiny!

Loved the show from start to finish. Sting guiding the Impact Players intrigues me. He's my favorite wrestler of all time so I can't wait to see what happens. Brilliantly done promo by Harry Smith. I'm working on the TLC match right now and while I cannot divulge a lot, I can guarantee that Mr. Smith's performance will be one to remember. This masked man storyline with Cody Rhodes simultaneously fascinates me and infuriates me. Cannot wait to see where this goes. Good job.

Another solid show here man,, good matches from top to bottom. I'm really pleased to see Hawkins and Ryder getting a push, they both deserve to go further than they have done in our world and Sting may help them get there. Styles/Riley was good and Styles stands as good a chance as he ever has of winning NWA gold. Must point out though, its Daniel Bryan rather than Bryan Danielson . Harry Smith also stands a great chance of winning NWA gold this Sunday, the NA Title match is going to be awesome. I wouldn't call Banks going over Christian an upset per se, I think both are about the same level tbh even if Banks hasn't maybe had the overall success of Christian. Still, big win all the same. Kyle matthews manages to one up Alberto Del Rio, but I think this Sunday it might be a different story (being in the know as I am ). This masked man storyline much like Howard said is fascinating and yet frustrating, I genuinely couldn't say who's under that mask, but we will find out soon I expect.

Enjoyed the show, great match ups throughout the card. I liked the response to the Rockstars and I'm sure they'll have a great match at Cade. I enjoyed the Harry Smith segment the most as it showed a lot of heart and a lot of the reasoning to do what he's doing. I was a bit stunned that ADR would lose going into Cade but once I read the notes of why it made sense. Pretty rad little go home show!
