SEGMENT
Out to the ring comes the owner of Fight Entertainment, JOSEPH ROTHER, and in his hand is a brief case. He steps into the ring and grabs a microphone, ready to address this packed house here in Arena Mexico. Rother starts off by welcoming the fans, before addressing the questions left by last show. He says he had a major announcement to make, and that is he has assigned to duty a new Commissioner of operations here in Fight Entertainment. He goads the fans to put their hands together for the one and the only... VAMPIRO! The Canadian wrestler who made huge waves in this country, and is perhaps best known for his work in lucha libre, makes his way out to a huge standing ovation. Vampiro takes the microphone from Rother and says that he's here to answer the questions everybody's been asking. He says tonight, the fate of four men will be hanging in the balance. He says tonight, there will be four poles posted in each corner of the ring. In two of the briefcases, the word "QUALIFIED" will be inside. In one briefcase... nothing will be inside, meaning they aren't going anywhere and they have to try and grab another one. And in the fourth... the words, "QUALIFIED CONTENDER" will be inside. Now what does that mean? He says the man to grab that briefcase not only will be headed to the World Heavyweight title tournament, but he just might enter as the North American champion, as the holder of that briefcase will be getting a shot at that very belt next week, here on "Action Zone"! The fans pop big time for this, and they are liking what they are hearing so far. Vampiro says that it's all a game of chance. We're dealing with the best of the best here in Fight Entertainment, from all around the world. The stakes couldn't be higher, and the choice is yours! And with that, let the games begin! Welcome to the "Action Zone"!
MATCH ONE
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
AMAZING RED & SONJAY DUTT
vs.
EVAN BOURNE w/ Velvet Sky & PUMA
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
AMAZING RED & SONJAY DUTT
vs.
EVAN BOURNE w/ Velvet Sky & PUMA
RESULTS: Amazing Red pinned Evan Bourne.
NOTES: Dutt and Puma had it out pretty good last week, and this week they went to tag team partners they've paired with in the past to try and help them get some closure on this issue. It didn't work out too well, and they spent too much time taking out their frustrations on one another once again this week than keeping an eye on the action in the ring, and this week it cost Puma the match. Puma was too busy striking Dutt on the outside, even ignoring the incessant nagging from Velvet Sky, as Red would deliver a brain rattling Huracanrana Driver to Bourne that would end this match and earn Red the three count. It should go without saying that this is far from over.
SEGMENT
From the behind curtain emerges SARA DEL REY who makes her way out to the ring to a pretty good reaction from the crowd. The self proclaimed "Queen of Wrestling" grabs a microphone and begins to vent on the current World Women's champion, AJ Lee, who she says she wants a shot at tonight! This leads former World Women's champion, KANA, to make her way out to the ring. Kana grabs a microphone, standing face to face with Del Rey in her elaborate robe, but with a stone cold expression on her face. Kana says that Del Rey has no business in a World championship match. She says that she has beaten Del Rey in the past, and proved for months that she was the supreme wrestler in the world, beating all comers and the best women from every promotion that had the guts to put a challenger in front of her! She says she demands her rematch tonight, and says it is she who is going to decimate AJ Lee! This leads VAMPIRO to make his way out again. Vampiro says that both of these women have valid points, and that if they really believe they deserve a shot over the other, maybe they should prove it; tonight, in a match. Sara Del Rey versus Kana. Based on who wins that, maybe we'll see about setting up that World title match. Both men look at each other, and coldly shake hands, the tips of their fingers going white from the pressure of the grip as they prepare for a war later in the night.
MATCH TWO
SIX WOMAN TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
AYUMI KURIHARA, NATSUKI*TAIYO, & MIYAKO MATSUMOTO
vs.
IO SHIRAI, LUFISTO, & NAOMI KNIGHT
SIX WOMAN TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
AYUMI KURIHARA, NATSUKI*TAIYO, & MIYAKO MATSUMOTO
vs.
IO SHIRAI, LUFISTO, & NAOMI KNIGHT
RESULTS: Naomi Knight pinned Natsuki*Taiyo.
NOTES: This was as spirited a match as you're going to find, with really quick and fierce action throughout. The tags seemed to come every few seconds, as all of these women tried to get in as much as possible and inflict whatever damage they could, obviously trying to get a blip on the radar of the red hot women's scene here in Fight Entertainment. After all of the hard hitting and high spots came to an end, Naomi saw a big opportunity and took it, smashing Taiyo in the corner with a Rear View, and then coming down on her with a Split Legged Moonsault to seal the deal and pick up another win. Naomi got a very sound reaction from there fans, standing out pretty well amongst some top talent here tonight.

A tag team who calls themselves "Forever Hooligans" made their way out next, and with their fuzzy jackets and hats, ALEX KOSLOV and ROCKY ROMERO were able to work this crowd pretty well. Koslov and Romero would take turns on the mic, berating the fans here, saying they even worse that ignorant pigs in the UK and that tonight they would make a mockery of any so-called "tag team" that wanted to step up and try to prove themselves against the business in the business! This lead ALEX SHELLEY and KUSHIDA to make their way out to the ring. Shelley would go on to say that they were collectively called "The Time Splitters", and their time is now! Shelley says The Hooligans may have a bad reputation, and they may have a lot of talent, but after tonight, they are going to have one more thing... a really quiet, depressing flight back to London, because "The Time Splitters" are about to shut them up! Shelley and KUSHIDA storm the ring, and this match gets started and then spills out to the floor.
MATCH THREE
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
"Forever Hooligans"
Alex Koslov & Rocky Romero
vs.
"The Time Splitters"
Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
"Forever Hooligans"
Alex Koslov & Rocky Romero
vs.
"The Time Splitters"
Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA
RESULTS: Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA win the match by disqualification.
NOTES: The match would end up back in the ring and the veteran team of Koslov and Romero would take control of KUSHIDA, the protege of Tajiri would has quick reflexes and dangerous strikes. They would work over KUSHIDA to the point of exhaustion, until KUSHIDA would finally catch Koslov with a Handspring Enzuigiri and then make the hot tag to the "Detroit Made" superstar! Shelley would light up Koslov and Romero, causing Romero to go to the outside and grab a chair, attacking Shelley with it and then planting KUSHIDA on the chair with their tag team finish, The Contract Killer, to really put an exclamation point on this. The Time Splitters may have won, but the Hooligans certainly sent a message tonight.
MATCH FOUR
SIX MAN TAG TEAM: 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
LA SOMBRA, RUSH, and TEXANO, JR. (All NWA Southwest)
vs.
DRAGON ROJO, JR., ULTIMO GUERRERO, and VOLADOR, JR.
SIX MAN TAG TEAM: 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
LA SOMBRA, RUSH, and TEXANO, JR. (All NWA Southwest)
vs.
DRAGON ROJO, JR., ULTIMO GUERRERO, and VOLADOR, JR.
RESULTS: Rush pinned Ultimo Guerrero.
NOTES: The NWA Southwest crew would put on a nice, clean show, putting up with the constant berating and intense assault of their opponents tonight in a dazzling contest by these top competitors. Rojo and Guerrero were the more vicious of the three on their team, and they seemed hell bent on doing whatever they could to get the win tonight, holding the tights and playing mind games throughout. Volador would be very vocal, but he backed it up with solid skills and the fans would give him props for his breath taking maneuvers. Sombra, Rush, and Texano just seemed to be more in sync tonight, however, and were able to overcome the obstacles, with seeing an opening and taking it, catching Guerrero gloating and hitting him with a Thrust Kick, followed by La Lanza, which earned him the three count and a victory for his team tonight!
POST-MATCH: Guerrero and Rojo would end low blowing Rush and Texano as they were celebrating. They would then try to beat down Sombra, attempting a Double Powerbomb, but Sombra would reverse with a Huracanrana to Rojo, followed by a series of armdrags, pushing Guerrero chest first into the ropes and then rolling him up and over into the Brillante Driver! Sombra would celebrate, as Volador just looked on, seemingly not wanting to partake in these actions, but obviously having some interest in how it all played out. While Rojo and Guerrero seemed to be bulls in this match, Volador certainly seemed to be more cunning and might be planning his moves more carefully.
MATCH FIVE
ONE-ON-ONE: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
KANA
vs.
SARA DEL REY
ONE-ON-ONE: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
KANA
vs.
SARA DEL REY
RESULTS: No Contest
NOTES: These two would have a short but very thoughtful and spirited match, showing that they may be among the best wrestlers out there today of any gender. The feeling out process was short, as these two have met before and know how dangerous one another are, but with the 10 minute time limit and the title hopes hanging in the balance, they knew they needed to hit something big and each competitor tried to pull out the stops. Near the seven minute mark, both women would be thinking Crossbody Block, and they would have a big collision in the center of the ring. At this point, out came CHEERLEADER MELISSA! Melissa would grab Del Rey off the mat and begin kneeing her to the face, sending her under the ropes and out of the ring. The referee would call for the bell here, and the commentators were completely perplexed by this.
POST-MATCH: Kana would get up and try for a shoot kick, but Melissa would catch it and Tiger Whip her to the mat, turning her over and locking her into the Inverted Cloverleaf! Del Rey would make her way back in, and the two women would trade blows until Del Rey actually caught her with a spin kick to the gut that sent her out through the ropes! From there, Del Rey and Melissa would scrap on the outside, while Kana would roll out and then join the fray, actually kicking Del Rey out of the way and then kicking Melissa right across the face! Security and officials would finally manage to break things up, but one has to wonder why Melissa would come out and interrupt such an important match for seemingly no reason.
MATCH SIX
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER/NORTH AMERICAN TITLE CONTENDER
FOUR-WAY CAPTURE THE CASES: NO TIME LIMIT
HERNANDEZ
vs.
HOMICIDE
vs.
MISTICO
vs.
SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE TOURNAMENT QUALIFIER/NORTH AMERICAN TITLE CONTENDER
FOUR-WAY CAPTURE THE CASES: NO TIME LIMIT
HERNANDEZ
vs.
HOMICIDE
vs.
MISTICO
vs.
SHINSUKE NAKAMURA
RESULTS: Mistico (Qualified), Shinsuke Nakamura (Qualified), and Hernandez (Qualified Contender).
NOTES: The fans were torn here, as many are huge fans of Mistico, while others are great supporters of "Super Mex" Hernandez. The story of this match really revolved around former partners Hernandez and Homicide, who would have to reconcile their past and would end up having the most heated exchanges of this contest, leaving it all in the ring tonight as they chased their dreams of championship gold. Mistico would use his speed and cunning to scale the first pole early and lucky for him it was a good one, as Nakamura was hot on his heels. Each man would head to a corner as Mistico opened his case, and once it was revealed he was qualifier, he left and the match restarted. Homicide and Hernandez would double team Nakamura for a short time early into the second part of this match after having laid into each other heavily earlier, deciding that while there was no love lost between them, they'd rather not see the shady Nakamura get a chance. The partnership would dissolve, however, when Homicide would try to bolt and make a run for a case, only to get caught and sent off the top with a Super Crackerjack, sending Homicide out of the ring and to the floor! Nakamura would catch Hernandez getting up with a huge Boma Ye that nearly sent the big man out of the ring, and Nakamura would take the opportunity to retrieve a briefcase. Once each man was finally able to stand in a corner, the briefcase was opened, revealing yet another qualifier! From here, there were two cases left. One empty, the other possessing the coveted qualifier with the North American title contendership inside, and neither man wanted to leave this match empty handed after all they had been through so far. Homicide was able to avoid a Border Toss to the outside from Hernandez, and managed to actually catch him with a big Single Leg Kick to the face that sent him to the outside. Homicide would look back and forth at the poles, but finally made a choice, opting for the one farthest away from Hernandez, who was getting back up to the apron. Both men would go to a corner, and the case was opened, only to reveal... NOTHING! Neither man waited for a bell here, as they made a mad dash for the last case, and Homicide was up the buckles quick. Hernandez would grab his leg and begin pounding on him. After a struggle, Homicide would realize he needed to take down "Super Mex" if the "Notorious 187" had any chance of getting in that tournament and getting the North American title match. He would try for a Tornado DDT, but Hernandez tossed him off and headed up the buckles. Homicide would pull everything out of himself to rush over, and caught Hernandez with a low blow, stalling him on the buckles. From there, Homicide grabbed him and proceeded to nail an Ace Crusher from the middle turnbuckle! Both men were slow to get up, but Homicide was up first. He would try to get up the buckles as quick as he could, but Hernandez would run and jump, crushing Homicide's mid-section on the top turnbuckle and his face into the steel post! Hernandez would then grab Homicide, hoisting him up and then running... and then a collective "HOLY SHIT!" moment, as Homicide went soaring through the air and right through the announcer's table all the way from the ring after Hernandez launched him with the BORDER TOSS!!! Hernandez didn't need to hurry now as every fan chanted his name and he scaled the last pole, retrieving his briefcase and his spoils of victory!
POST-MATCH: Hernandez would wait in the ring patiently, as the officials helped Homicide pull himself to his feet. Homicide would refuse medical help, and once he saw Hernandez waiting for him, he headed into the ring. Hernandez took the mic and said this was one of the greatest victories and matches of his life, and he was proud to say he did battle against a competitor as fierce as Homicide. The two would shake hands in the ring, but the lovefest wouldn't last long, as into the ring hit TAKA MICHINOKU and MASATO TANAKA! These two would blast Homicide and Hernandez with Singapore cains, as these fands booed the roof off of the building! TAKA would grab a microphone and would yell that the only two men who deserve championships are the last two standing in the ring right now! He says they were cheated by the system, cheated by everyone, and they were going to take back their honor and beat some respect into everyone that stands in their way! The fans were throwing garbage now in the ring as TAKA laughs, holding up his splintered cain as Tanaka holds his arm, raising that feared elbow of his with a murderous stare in his eyes as this show goes off the air.
