The show opened up with clips from StarrCade. It showed Harry Smith winning the North American Championship in a brutal, brutal ladder match. It then showed Paul Burchill and Chris Jericho losing to The Rockstars in a hard fought NWA World Championship Tag Team match. The next highlights were from the Last Man Standing Match with Alberto Del Rio and Kyle Matthews. The final clips showed Christopher Daniels battling Paul London, in probably THE match of the night, if not the year to retain and retire as NWA World Heavyweight Champion.
The scene the switched to the ramp as Alberto Del Rio comes out, bandaged and banged up. He said that as the last competitor from CPW to hold the NWA World Championship, he should be afforded an automatic entry into the title tournament. This brought out the host of other former NWA World Champions, who claimed THEY were just as deserving.
This brought out Edge who said ALL of the former champions on the roster would be involved in a battle royal for one of the three opportunities.. He then said that the 4 former World Champions who were staff members would also have a say, by picking an additional entry into the event! (Out came DDP, Sting and Ric Flair) Edge said his pick was Christian! Flair said he was sending Alex Riley! Sting said that a new member to his group was entering, and that would be Ted DiBiase! DDP said he was picking Eric Young!

After the match, ADR said he was going to regain the NWA World Title! He said that he could beat anyone, ANYONE! Edge said he figured that and had a match scheduled later for the NWA World Tag Team Champions, but since they didn't have an opponent, he was going to give ADR the opportunity to face them. If he and his partner won, they could have a title match down the road. But Edge said that if anyone in CPW interfeared they would be fired! He wanted to see how good ADR really was.
Kyle Matthews and Jack Swagger came out next and cut the following promo
Kyle Matthews : "So you beat me Alberto, "well done". You beat me in a match with no rules other than knocking your opponent down for 10 seconds, using tactics that you probably learned in some Mexican bar somewhere. This only proves that you can't beat me in a straight up wrestling match, had the match had some actual rules then you wouldn't have stood a chance, you'd have tapped to the Hidaka Lock faster than you could say hijo de puta!
The fans are booing Matthews
Kyle Matthews : You see unlike you Alberto I am a truly Hybrid performer, and do you know what that means? It means that I can wrestle ANY style of match. Thats why myself and Jack Swagger call ourselves The Hybrid Athletes, because we truly are the most hybrid performers the NWA has seen. You can't hold a candle to either of us, especially not me, the most hybrid athlete in NWA history! I dare you to prove me wrong Alberto, and who knows, if you can, maybe you can call yourself a hybrid athlete as well. Until then, your still the failure who lost his World title belt in his home country to the "nobody!"
The fans are just booing Kyle Matthews out of the building as he tosses the mic and leaves the stage.
Edge came out again and said that this would be an elimination match for the second of CPW's spots in the NWA World Championship Tournament

Having his foot on the ropes was no way to end his career, or a championship reign. He said he had no regrets, and while he came up short tonight, he WILL get a shot at the NWA Championship, and next time, won't hand it back over!
Harry Smith came out to a standing ovation! He said he win at StarrCade was dedicated to his mother, his father and the fans! He then called out the former champion, Dolph Ziggler. World Champions Championship Tournament Entry Battle Royal
This was a wild match from the opening bell. All 10 men started out and it went down to Ted DiBiase, ADR, Scott Steiner and Sheamus. With ADR eliminating Sheamus to make it ADR and Steiner, it looked like Steiner may have been afforded his last big break. He went on a tear just dominating ADR with throws ans suplexs. He locked the Steiner Recliner on to weaken ADR, but after Scott thought he was weak enough, rather than throwing out Del Rio, he show boated! ADR hit a release German suplex, and then threw out Steiner for the win!
Four Corners Match Elimination Match
Another wild match that saw the very unlikely winner being the man who is so on the nerves of fans across the country with his gosh-awful 'renditions;' of song and his 'hit' "Don't stop Bo-leaving', Bo Dallas! But it was Kofi who actually assisted Bo in the final fall. Having been eliminated by a Gore from Rhino, Kofi returned the favor by pushing Dallas out of the way of a match ending Gore that saw Rhino crash into the corner followed by a chair shot from Kofi that allowed Bo to lock on the Claw hold and get the fall to advance!
Sudden Death Match
Yet another wild match that had a whole lot riding on it. In the end, it was Shelton Benjamin who out lasted the giants and Joe Henning to earn himself a spot in the title tournament. This match went back and forth and saw a lot of saves and then it broke down into a pure brawl.
Ladder Match for the NWA North American Championship
Class and fortitude. That is what Harry displayed. He risked a lot going into this match, but once again, he was able to come up big and show that he IS a future star in the NWA, but his future is now. The fans gave both men a standing ovation after this match.
Tag Team Match
Prior to this match, ADR had no idea who is partner was. About half way into it, Kyle Matthews and Jack Swagger made their way down to ring side, and the fans figured it was to piss around with ADR. Little did they know he was there to be ADRs partner! With ADR being rocked by Morrison, Kyle made the blind tag and went to work. The match went back and forth with each team taking control. ADR didn't like the fact that Kyle was there, but what choice did he have? Win and get a shot, or lose and his ego take a hit. In the end, ADR hit the shoulder breaker on Jimmy Rave and tagged in Kyle who locked on his Hidaka Lock. After the match ADR and Kyle got into the ring and stood inches from each other, and then just when it looked like all hell was going to break loose, ADR stuck out his hand and Kyle shook it! ADR smiled that smile,a s the fans started to boo him. ADR, Swagger and Kyle stood in the ring as the show went off the air.
