CARD NOTES
One on One Match : The French Stallion -vs- 'The Italian Stallion' Santino Carelli
- Santino made his return from an injury to face OVW standout The French Stallion. In mocking fashion, Santino billed hiomself as "The Italian Stallion". But in much like the French Stallion's recent dominance in OVW, he worked over Santino and finished him off with a move Taz dubbed the 'French Connection' (the charging big boot to the head). After the match, Santino had a dazed look in his eyes and CPW trainers came out to look him over for possible head injury.
One on One Match : Damien Sandow -vs- Scott Steiner
- Damien made his debut tonight for CPW after a while of rest and relaxation. Once the bell rang, Damian started the head games with Steiner, challenging him to feats of 'Mental strenght'. Steiner being no dummy match Sandow, and then challenged him to a test of 'physical strength'. Sandow, said he would do pushups, and for Scott to set the standard. Scot did about a dozen or so before Sandow attacked. He waited until Scott had worn himself out a bit and started with a stiff kick to the side. Damien worked over Steiner, but Scott was able to fight his way back. Scott nearly had the win, but again, his ego go the best of him. After blasting Sandow with a HUGE steiner line, he went back to the pushup routine. This gave Damien time to recover, just a bit and as Steiner pulled up Sandow, Damien hit a back kick low blow, followed up with his Straight Jacket Neckbreaker to steal the win!
Money in the Bank Ladder Match : Trent Barreta -vs- Kofi Kingston -vs- Ted DiBiase -vs- Alex Riley
- A good old fashion ladder match with a championship opportunity hanging in the balance! Four of CPW's start waiting to break out and this was an opportunity not to be squandered! All four men beat the crap out of one another in hopes of securing a title match. In the end, Trent and Kofi were bloody and broken mess' on the floor after Kofi blasted him with Trouble in Paradise as BOTH men were at the top of the ladder! That left DiBiase and Riley to battle it out. It looked as if Alex would walk out the winner, but Ted was able to send Alex crashing to the mat as Ted hit him with a Dream Street, and then crawled up the ladder to retrieve the contract as most of the locker room was watching from either the ramp or the back stage area.
Tag Team Match : The Swagga Kingz -vs- The Show Stoppers
- A good back and forth tag team match that showcased NWA New Orleans talent. The Show Stoppers were trying to get back on the winning side of the page, but they were off a step or more most of the match. In the end, The Swagga Kingz put an end to the match and finished off Cliff Compton to earn a hard fought win.
CPW Tag Team Championship Match : The Impact Players -vs- Chris Jericho & Paul Burchill (C)
- This came from a challenge earlier in the night where The Impact Players said they wanted their title opportunity before Jericho went over seas for a few months. Jericho said he was taking his gold with him, but as he was smirking, Paul accepted the challenge! The Impact Players were at the top of their game in this match, while Jericho and Burchill were back to their argumentative ways! Neither man wanted to help the other, but when they saw that their titles were slipping away, finally decided to get on the same page, but it was too little too late. With a solid game plan, the Impact Players isolated and focused on Paul, rendering him nearly worthless late in the game, and then focused on Chris, before Curt hit the Taste the Pain on Chris to win the titles!
One on One Non-Title Match : The Miz -vs- Harry Smith
- The miz came out and started running down the champions of CPW, saying they are all afraid of him, that not one single one offered him a deserving title match! As The Miz continued, out stepped the new NWA North American Champion, Harry Smith! He said that he was tired of listening to the Miz, and that if Miz could win a non-title match, he would give him a title match. The Miz jumped at the opportunity and he started off strong. He was able to keep Smith off his game for the first few minutes as he ambushed the champion coming into the ring, and looked to be well on his way to a championship match. Late in the match, Miz went for his finisher, but Smith was able to power out of it, and went on the offence. Smith capped of his resurgence with a running powerslam that was akin to his fathers, and then took the wind out of the Miz with a bridging fisherman suplex that would have made Mr. Perfect proud.
CPW Television Championship Match : Eric Young -vs- Rob Van Dam (c)
- RVD came out and said he wanted a match, and was going to take the first person who was shown on the big screen. All of a sudden we see a camera man looking around and there is Mike Knox, laying on the cement floor, with a chair bent over his back and Eric Young smiling. Young tells RVD he is on the way! These two fought at the last SNME, and RVD was able to retain the title, but only after he used the bell on EY that EY was going to use on him, and then after the match, he was attacked by Knox. This match went back and forth, with each man coming close to securing the win. Late in the match, a bloody Knox comes out to ringside with the bent chair in hand. Knox waits until the referee is distracted and then attacks Young, rendering him nearly unconscious! RVD hits the 5 Star to get the win, but stands over the defenceless Young to protect him, before leaving the ring with the belt. Mike enters the ring and stalks Young. As Young gets up, he is flattened with a huge running knee to the face that knocks Young out cold!
NWA World Title Tournament Match : Matt Taven -vs- Bo Dallas
- In the first of two first round matches being hosted by CPW, Bo Dallas came out with Joe Henning and told the fans that tonight... Tonight would be the night that EVERYONE would 'BO-LEAVE" in a miracle! The Miracle of love and BO! He told the fans to 'Bo-Leave' in him! He started singing, and then thankfully, Matt Taven's intro hit and cut Dallas' music. The match went back and forth to much of the fans surprise. The odds were stacked against Matt with Joe interjecting before he was finally ejected by the referee! With it now a one on one match, Matt went to work and showed Bo how to wrestle. In the end, he hit the Taven Effect to advance to the second round!
Tag Team Challenge Match : The Hybrid Athletes -vs- The Untouchables
- ADR came out and said that over the past few months, he had been planning his revenge on Matthews, plotting, then genius struck. he got a call from Swagger offering up a plan to unite the two greatest minds in the NWA today. He said at first he hung up on Swagger, thinking it was a trap, but then, he realized that two World Champions together, two of the most ruthless, cut throat athletes in the NWA! If apart they are dangerous, then what if they formed an alliance and worked together? The possibilities would be endless! He then called out The Untouchables! He said he wanted to start off big! The bigger, the badder! Kyle came out and said he was game for the ass whipping! Once The Untouchables came out it looked to be a one sided match, with Ryback and Sheamus taking control early! But with Swagger interjecting mid-match, the momentum started to sing in favor of The Hybrid Athletes. ADR and Matthews employed a divide and conquer mentality, isolating one opponent, working him over, then taunting his partner, causing the ref to restrain him while Kyle and Alberto dished out more punishment. The critical moment came when Ryback tried to get at Swagger. ADR made a blind tag and popped Sheamus with a stiff forearm to the head, sending him crashing to the arena floor and then hoped over the top rope jerking Ryback's arm nearly out of the socket! The Hybrid Athletes then worked over his injured shoulder until ADR locked on the Cross Armbreaker for the win. After the match, Kyle and ADR made the motion of gold as Swagger stood between them!

- This match was as wild as any in recent memory that Cody has been involved in. Finally, the fresher of the two rolled Cody into the ring, and hit a nasty Superkicker on the Champion! As the show went off the air the masked man stood over Cody holding up the CPW Title that he had broguht with him from under the ring!
