Southern Tag Team champions: Michael Hayes and Mohammad Ali Vaez
TV champion: Johnny Spade
Women's champion: Heidi Lovelace
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. They run down the lineup, including the main event. Every title on the line in 1 match with the Tag Team champions Michael Hayes & Mohammad Ali Vaez vs Southern champion Marcus Anthony & TV champion Johnny Spade. If anybody is pinned or made to submit, they lose their title, and Danny Davis has given the referees strict orders to let as much go as they can to ensure that we see a new champion crowned tonight, including manager Timmy Danger barred from ringside. That's right, he is not even being allowed into the building to make sure that he does not interfere in this. The other 2 big matches are a grudge match with Rudy Switchblade vs Mike Mondo with a growing amount of bad blood between them, and then Chris Silvio vs Jessie Godderz in a return match from last month, and if Godderz wins, both Silvio & manager Mo Green must serve him for 30 days.
Match #1
Stephon J Baxter III defeats Lennox Norris @ 4:25 via pinfall after the Rumper Stumper. Nothing opener really, just designed to get the fans going and give the favorite Baxter a win to open the show. Some comedy in this with Norris challenging Baxter to a dance contest. Norris does his best John Travolta Saturday Night Fever style routine, but the usual Steve Urkel like Baxter surprises fans when he is able to get down with JYD like dance moves that shows he has some soul going in there.
Match #2
Serena defeats Jessie Belle @ 3:48 via pinfall after a spear. Quick match here as Serena makes her in ring debut following her return last month. The commentators mention that she has made no illusions about it, and she wants the Women's Title back. Dean Hill wonders what happened to turn Serena this way, given she used to be completely different. Michael Titus just barks back that she woke up and realized these fans in the Davis Arena for what they really are.
Match #3
The French Stallion Tom LaRuffa defeats Eddie Diamond @ 4:31 via pinfall after a running big boot to the head, which the commentators dub "The French Connection" (not sure if that is real, but saw somebody else use it when they booked him and I liked the name, so there it is!). A big win for the still undefeated Stallion, who has been on a roll since first appearing a month ago at the Saturday Night Special. Stallion is not done though as after the match, he requests a mic and says that he is the best wrestler in this building tonight and if this is the best that you Americans have to offer, he has bigger fish to fry and wants real competition starting soon or there will be trouble.
Match #4
The Mobile Homers defeat Dylan Bostic & The Body Guy @ 5:19 when Ted McNaler pinned Body Guy with a schoolboy. Body Guy was making gestures towards the Homers' manager Brittany Devore, and she got up on the apron feigning an interest, only to slap Body Guy back into the pin. A successful return for the Homers in McNaler's first match back since being blinded, but little time to celebrate because Bostic clearly feels it should be his last. He secures the moonshine and tries to use it again on McNaler, but instead as he throws it, McNaler ducks and it gets all over Devore by accident. As she goes down, Bostic & The Body Guy just laugh and leave. Not in her eyes fortunately but still a waste of "damn fine moonshine" according to Dean Hill as this feud is seemingly not done just yet.
Match #5
Shiloh Jonze defeats Paredyse and Joe Coleman @ 6:08 in a 3 way dance by pinning Coleman after an enzuigiri. A big win for Jonze as the partnership with Coleman is officially out the window entering this match with The Marauders no more. Paredyse & Coleman even work together at points in here, but Coleman shows his true colors when he has little hesitation in turning on Paredyse which Michael Titus commends because it is every man for himself and Paredyse is just an idiot for falling for it. The commentators wonder if this is the end of The Marauders for good, or if Shiloh will now look to rebuild the group because as Dean says, Shiloh Jonze & a fair fight are 2 things that just do not go together.
Match #6
Women's champion Heidi Lovelace and Trina fought to a no contest @ 8:12 when Serena came out, attacking both women. Lovelace retains the title, but not the way she would have wanted. Serena ruins a good match and afterwards, tries to take out Lovelace with a chair. She racks her knee up against the outside ringpost and sizes her up with a chair, but as she brings it back, Trina grabs it. Serena runs off, but did what she set out to do, with Trina upset, and presumably Heidi upset as well. A good match gets ruined here as Trina gets screwed out of her title shot and Heidi the chance to successfully defend her title.
Match #7
Rudy Switchblade defeats Mike Mondo @ 7:43 via pinfall with a small package. Good match that sees Mondo in control, but clearly taking his opponent for granted when he gets surprised by the roll up and left in disbelief. Mondo questions the decision as though the referee's fault for counting fast and threatens him, but fortunately Switchblade makes the save. As they fight, Mondo ends up catching Switchblade with a DDT and leaves him laying in the ring. Some revenge for Switchblade, but it ends up bittersweet thanks to the post match antics of Mondo with it looking like this 1 is far from being over.
Match #8
Chris Silvio defeats Jessie Godderz @ 10:28 via pinfall after ducking a clothesline and catching Godderz turning for the big Superman punch. Silvio & manager Mo Green avoid the servant clause with this win in a match that sees Godderz come very close to the in on several occasions, but unable to finish the match. Silvio avoids punishment, but after the match, Danny Davis is out. Godderz goes to leave, but Davis tells him to stay because he will want to hear this. Around here in the Ohio Valley, 1 sided stipulations are not how matches are done. If Silvio had lost, they would have had to serve Godderz, so it is only just that because Godderz loses, he must now serve them for 30 days. Fans cheers as Godderz is beside himself at that announcement. No way he says, but Davis tells him to do it and if he does not like it, there's the door. Dean Hill pushes this Wednesday at Davis Arena for the next TV taping, Godderz will have to serve Silvio & Mo Green. Gilbert wonders if they will have him wear a maid's outfit, but Titus simply says this is not a funny situation.
Match #9
The Main Event
Southern champion Marcus Anthony & TV champion Johnny Spade defeat Tag Team champions Michael Hayes & Mohammad Ali Vaez @ 12:43 when Spade pinned Hayes after a superkick thanks to a distraction from a "fan" and they are now the new champions. The "fan" was in reality Timmy Danger, who had snuck into the crowd via buying a ticket and disguised himself, before hopping the rail. With the referee busy with Vaez & Anthony, Danger grabbed the artificial leg of Hayes as he was readying to finish Spade and even took it off. Hayes & Danger had a tug of war on the leg before Hayes just let go and Danger went flying back to a big pop. Hayes however turned and ate a superkick for the finish. Close call earlier too with Spade going to superkick Vaez, but him moving and Spade instead connecting on Anthony to a big pop. Hayes covered and nearly scored what would have been a gigantic upset if he had become Heavyweight champion. Dean calls it a shame that they won this way, thanks in large part to the interference of Timmy Danger, who should not have even been here, but Titus loves it as Danger's camp now has all the gold. In fact Danger holds up the Tag belts as if he himself won them or something. He then hands 1 to Anthony and 1 to Spade and tells them to shake hands. They do, but Spade does not let go and brings Anthony back in. A tense stare down before Spade pats him on the shoulder almost sarcastically and says good job before leaving. Anthony is now Southern champion, Spade is TV champion, together they are Tag Team champions. What does this mean for NWA Ohio Valley Wrestling?!
