*Author's note* I wanted to go into a lot more detail with all these matches but I was on a time crunch as it is. Decided to go "less is more" and put the focus where it needed to be: on the Tournament for the Title QF contests.
The pyro goes off inside a sold out Veteran's Memorial Arena and we immediately go to the back where JBL is standing with a wheel and all five tag teams that will be taking place in tag team turmoil around him.
JBL: Now after the chaos we saw a few weeks ago I've decided that you all need a little action going into Spring Stampede. You notice that on this wheel is everyone's names and that everyone is grouped together with their teammate so we don't have a team fighting each other. Let's spin the wheel.
*wheel spins...........and it lands on......Player Uno! Another spin of the wheel lands on Ezekiel Jackson!*
JBL: Boys there's your first match of the evening, get ready because you're on first. Let's remove big Zeke and Uno's plates and spin again!
*Wheel spins and lands on Kenny King! King smiles and rubs his hands together as the wheel spins again.....and lands on Chuck Taylor!*
JBL: Good lord boys I don't think Jacksonville is gonna survive the night! Now after the Nakamura-Magnus match, we're gonna meet back here to decide the next two matches! ENJOY THE SHOW EVERYBODY!
We go back to the arena where Striker and Schilling formally welcome everyone to tonight's special three hour edition of South Beach TV. Striker tries to get Schilling's big announcement out of him but Howard E. states that everyone will have to wait until later and that it will be worth it. We go to the ring where Player Uno is already in the ring. Big Zeke Jackson comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. The bell rings and we are underway.
Match Number One: Ezekiel Jackson vs. Player Uno
Both of these men are very big guys that are surprisingly agile in the ring. Uno is clearly the crowd favorite and spends the entire match getting the crowd to rally behind him. Zeke kept trying to overpower Uno but eventually fell to the Bubble Bobble Buster! Uno with the upset!
Winner: Player Uno
Uno celebrates a win over one half of the South Beach Tag Team Champions! What does this have to do to the mind of the The Guyanese Goliath headed into Spring Stampede?
After the match a video of Jim "The Ultimate Warrior" Hellwig plays. The ring bell tolls 21 times and we have a moment of silence.
Match Number Two: Kenny King vs. Chuck Taylor
This was a match featuring two of the brightest stars in the NWA today and even though they had limited time they put a lot into what they were given. Late in the match King would hit The Royal Flush but Eva Marie would come down to the ring and do a seductive dance on the apron, distracting pretty much everyone in the arena, allowing Taylor to sneak up behind, roll up King up and grab the tights for the victory.
Winner: Chuck Taylor
Taylor and Eva Marie would walk up the aisle as the crowd booed and the announce team protested the way Taylor won the match.

Back from break and it's time for the first of our triple main event! The competitors enter the ring and Justin Roberts has the call.
Roberts: Our next contest, scheduled for one fall, is a Tournament for the Title quarterfinal contest. Introducing the participants; first from Mineyama in Kyoto Japan, he weighs in tonight at 229 pounds. Representing NWA Kenshiki, SHINSUKEEEEE NAAAAKAAAMURRAA!
*crowd applauds as Nakamura bows*
Roberts: Introducing his opponent, from King's Lynn, England. He weighs in tonight at 240 pounds.....MAGNUS!
The crowd applauds and this one is underway.
Match Number Three: Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Magnus (Tournament for the Title Quarterfinal)
The competitors circle each other to start, neither one wanting to "blink" first and give their adversary an advantage. They eventually lock up and Magnus scores with a headlock takeover. Nakamura grabs Magnus in a head scissors, Magnus pushes out and walks right into a STIFF knife edge chop that sends him to the mat. Magnus rolls to the outside and Nakamura has him on the ropes. The King of Strong Style is looking strong in the early going.
*commercial*
We come back to find Magnus working over the legs, looking to soften them up for the King's Lynn Cloverleaf, but Nakamura escapes and manages to score with an enzugiri for a near fall. Magnus is quicker to his feet and signals for Tormentum, but Nakamura slides out and hooks Magnus....Landslide! Nakamura with the cover and this one is over! Shinsuke Nakamura has advanced to the semifinals!
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura
After the match Magnus and Nakamura stare at each other before meeting in the middle of the ring. Magnus extends his hand....and Nakamura shakes it! The crowd cheers as we head to the back and the announcement of our next two match ups.
JBL: Geez boys that was one hell of a run earlier.....let's see what the mystery wheel has in store for us next!
The wheel spins and lands on Uhaa Nation! Uhaa's plate is removed and the wheel is spun again.....landing on Tyler Black!
JBL: Holy Hell boys we're gonna have a war on our hands! I've seen both of you in the ring and I know that you can go. I'm gonna sit back with a bucket of popcorn and watch this one. Let's see what we got next!
The wheel spins again......and we land on Rhett Titus! It spins once more.......and lands.....on Player Dos! Gargano smiles and looks at Adam Cole who looks really uneasy.
JBL: Ho ho ho boys this is gonna be great! By the time April 27th rolls around you're gonna smell like smoke 'cause you will have been through fire!

Back from commercial and we get a vignette hyping the debut of Drew McIntyre.
Match Number Four: Uhaa Nation vs. Tyler Black
This match was a contrast of styles between a powerhouse and a highflyer......and man did they put on a show. Tyler kept the pace fast, continuously going to his aerial arsenal to keep Uhaa disoriented but Uhaa kept proving that he was more than happy to wrestle a frantic pace, eventually suckering Black into going for Piece of Mind and countering into an All Out Assault for the victory.
Winner: Uhaa Nation
Nation is visibly shaken after such a hard fought match, helps Black to his feet, and shakes his hand. The crowd applauds as we recap of Ohio Valley's Saturday Night Special before going back to the ring for our next match.
Match Number Five: Rhett Titus vs. Player Dos
Yet another great match between two up and comers in South Beach. This one was a back and forth affair with Titus picking up the victory after a Thrust Buster.
Winner: Rhett Titus
After the match Titus and Dos share a respectful stare across the ring before we go to commercial.

When we come back from commercial it's time for the second third of our triple main event! Justin Roberts with the call.
Roberts: Our next match, scheduled for one fall is a Tournament for the Title Quarterfinal. Introducing the participants; first, standing in the corner to my left from St. Louis, Missouri; he weighs in tonight at 235 pounds, he is The Viper.....RAAAAAAAAAAAANDYYYYYYYYY OOOOOOOOOOOOOORTON!
Orton acknowledges the crowd to a mixed reaction.
Roberts: His opponent, from Preston, England; weighs in tonight at 246 pounds. Wade Barrett!
Match Number Six: Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton (Tournament for the Title Quarterfinal)
The bell rings and these two lock up and there is obviously no love lost between them. Barrett with a head lock and Orton tries to push him off, Barrett tries for the Bullhammer instead, but Orton ducks and tries for the RKO, Barrett pushes off and they end up clotheslining each other as the crowd applauds. Both of them get up and Barrett charges, Orton ducks and catches Wade coming off the ropes with a snap powerslam for a one count. Orton presses the advantage and tries to grab the head for the back breaker but Barrett gets out and hits a spinebuster for a near fall. These guys know each other so well that one of them is going to have to catch a mistake from the other to pull out the victory. Wade and Randy get back up and start trading blows in the middle of the ring. Orton pushes off and lands a dropkick before getting a sick smile on his face and starts in with the Garvin Stomp, each stomp bringing a leer more sadistic than the last. Orton stares, no emotion in his eyes as he drops to the mat, begging for Barrett to get up. Wade gets up on shaky legs as Orton readies for the RKO but Barrett counters into the Winds of Change! Orton's back buckles as Barrett tries for the cover...ONE....TWO....NO! Orton gets the shoulder up as Barrett looks at the ref in disbelief. Orton back on the offensive though and smashes his knee into the skull of Wade. Randy brings Barrett of the top and through the top and middle ropes.....DDT! Good god that was sick. Orton thinks about going for the cover.....but stops. Orton turns his head slightly and then backs up......my god he's gonna kick Wade's head all the way into the upper deck! Orton rushes but Barrett moves out of the way! Wade grabs a disoriented Randy......Wasteland! Wade hit the Wasteland out of nowhere! Barrett covers! ONE! TWO! THREE!
Winner: Wade Barrett
After the match Orton attacks! Orton with a huge slam and the he readies for the punt.....IT CONNECTS! The crowd boos loudly as Orton poses. Barrett might have won the match, but Orton won the war.

Match Number Seven: Johnny Gargano vs. South Beach TV Champion Adam Cole
These men have been at war with each other for what seems like forever. Gargano was the leader of the Revolution, Cole was the upstart complaining that he was being held back. Cole ended the latest incarnation of Revolution at Starrcade and Gargano has sought revenge ever since. These two went twenty minutes in front of a somehow still energetic crowd, scoring near fall after near fall; raising the crowd to a fever pitch. Gargano would look for the Hurts Donut when Eva Marie would distract the referee for a second time, allowing Chuck Taylor to sneak behind and lay Gargano out with the South Beach TV title! Cole would smirk and lock in the Garga-No-Escape right before Eva got off the apron. Johnny was out cold following the heinous attack and could not answer the ref's three count.
Winner: Adam Cole
Cole, Taylor, and Eva take a bow as the crowd boos. Tyler Black slides into the ring and checks on Gargano. Black has a MURDEROUS glare in his eye as he stares after The Southern Gentlemen. Tyler and Adam have been at war since Tyler won King of the Ring. Will this all come to a head at Spring Stampede? We got to the back.....and Austin Aries is laid out! Out of the shadows comes Bray Wyatt surrounded by The Bullet Club!
Bray: It was as I foretold...The Embassy was nothing but a lie! It fell apart from the inside out and consumed an entire nation in the process! Praise be to the notion that a monarchy can be sustained in a world ruled by chaos. Austin, you claim to be a great man, but greatness does not boast of itself; because then it becomes false.....and this is real man.....I GOT THE WHOLE WORLD....IN MY HANDS.....I GOT THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.....IN MY HANDS!
The scene fades out and we go back to a quiet arena. Howard E. Schilling gets up from the announce desk, takes his headset off, grabs a mic and heads into the ring. Could this be the announcement we've been waiting for?
Howard: How about this show tonight huh? *crowd pops* First of all I want to thank John Bradshaw Layfield; you are the best General Manager in the NWA, and I couldn't have picked a better person to lead this territory. Now I've gotten emails, texts, tweets, everything the last couple of days wondering "What's the big announcement Howard?". As a lot of you know, 2014 has NOT been kind to the National Wrestling Alliance. In the last five months, we've had an unprecedented SIX territories close up shop, three in the last two weeks alone. In eighteen days, NWA South Beach will be hosting it's second super show as Spring Stampede comes to the Amway Arena, and a for the second time in three events, we will have a NEW NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. Now CM Punk has been talking about how he's "The Best in the World", and while I have no doubts about that, you could ALSO make the claim that everyone left in this tournament field deserves that moniker. Therefore at Spring Stampede, live in front of the whole world, the Finals AND the semi-finals of the Tournament for the Title will be taking place. You want to prove that you're the best in the world people? Prove it. Now let's get this main event started!
"Realeza" hits and Alberto del Rio comes out to boos with a mic.
Alberto: MY NAME! MY NAME IS ALBERTO DEL RRRRRIO! But you already knew that! I come out here because I have esympaty for CM Punk. CM Punk, you are a great man who has done many great tings...but ju cannot overcome me. That is why I have not brought Brock Lesnar or Kyle Matthews with me. I don't want your little girlfriend AJ to be a widow before you marry her. *crowd boos* Don't be estupid Punk. Think about jur career. Referee, count dis man out so I can go on and claim mi destino at Spring Stampede.
The ref waits for a minute as, for the first time in months, a loud "CM PUNK!" chant rings throughout the arena.
Ref: ONE!
Crowd: CM!
Ref: TWO!
Crowd: PUNK!
Ref: THREE!
Crowd: CM!
Ref: FOUR!
Crowd: PUNK!
The ref goes for a count of five when.....
CM PUNK IS HERE! CM Punk, his ribs HEAVILY taped and walking with a limp, has a mic in his hand.
Punk: I thought I told you three days ago del Rio; you'll have to kill me to get rid of me. You hear this crowd? You hear that they're cheering me? The thing about these people is I didn't ask for this. They cheer because I am the best wrestler in the world today. You want to advance to the semifinals of this tournament? You're going to have to find something that can break adamantium, or get Stan Lee to rewrite Wolverine's history; and even if you did that I'd rise up as Deadpool, lord knows I have the mouth for it. *Punk gets in the ring even more gingerly than he did in Chicago* I'm the best in the world, and you're going to figure out why right now.
Justin Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen; our next match, scheduled for one fall, is a quarterfinal match in the Tournament for the Title. Introducing the participants; first, standing in the corner to my right from San Luis Potosi, Mexico; he weighs in tonight at 239 pounds, Alberto....delllll RIIIIOOOOO!
*Crowd boos*
Roberts: His opponent, standing in the corner to my right; from Chicago, Illinois, he weighs in tonight at 225 pounds, C! M! PUNK!
*crowd cheers*
The bell rings and we're underway.
Main Event: CM Punk vs. Alberto del Rio (Tournament for the Title Quarterfinal)
As soon as the the ref calls for the bell Alberto goes for the ribs forcing Punk to play defense early. Del Rio forces Punk into the corner causing the ref to call for a break, but not before landing a stiff boot to Punk's side causing the crowd to boo. Punk is gasping in pain as the ref asks if he wants to continue. Punk is grinding his teeth together as del Rio plays to the crowd, garnering even more heat. Punk pushes the ref away and charges Alberto, taking him down to the mat and pummeling him with fists to the face and any other body part. Alberto is forced to cover up as the ref has to pull Punk away. Punk breaks at four and screams causing the crowd to go nuts! Del Rio gets back up with a smirk on his face and locks up with Punk. Punk gets sent into the ropes, hops over del Rio, and ends up scoring with a swinging neck breaker after Alberto telegraphs a back body drop. Punk signals for the GTS early but just like in Chicago, can't get del Rio on his shoulders! Alberto slips out, locks his hands, and hits a german suplex! Good God that must have jarred every one of Punk's ribs. Alberto keeps his hands locked, rolls over, and hits another german! Punk is screaming in pain! Alberto goes for a third but Punk flips out! The force from the landing takes Punk to a knee, and del Rio LEVELS him with a kick to the skull! Del Rio with the cover and this one HAS to be over...ONE! TWO! NO! Punk gets the shoulder up! How?
Del Rio starts pummeling and this has to stop. The ref has to pry the Mexican Aristocrat away and asks Punk if he wants to continue. Punk struggles to his feet and motions for Alberto to come get him. Del Rio is grinning like a cheshire cat as he charges....and Punk side-steps him! Punk has del Rio in the corner and is firing away with kicks and punches, ducking every counter. Punk is fighting for his life as he gets del rio up to the top and signals for the Pepsi Plunge....it connects! Where did that come from? Punk could have the victory here and heads for a lateral press: ONE....TWO......NO! Del Rio kicks out! Punk punches the ground and signals for the Pepsi Twist! Punk cinches in the hammerlock....Del Rio ducks! Del Rio with a back cracker! Punk screams out as his back buckles! ONE! TWO! NO! We head to our final commercial with Alberto del Rio looking frustrated as Punk writhes on the canvas.
*Commercial*
Back from the break and Alberto del Rio and CM Punk are slugging it out in the middle of the ring. They're leaning on each other to hold themselves up. Punk takes a wild swing which misses Alberto by a country mile and gets taken up to Alberto's shoulders.....and gets dropped down into a double knee gutbuster! Punk is holding his ribs as del Rio signals for the cross arm breaker. The crowd chants desperately for Punk to get up....and he does! He tries for the running knee but del Rio counters into a powerbomb! Del Rio folds Punk over....and puts his feet on the ropes! ONE! TWO! NO! THE REF SAW THE FEET! Del Rio pleads with the ref and kicks the ropes in disgust. Punk is struggling to breathe let alone get to his feet but eventually does. Del Rio's face is colored with contempt as he looks to end Punk once and for all. They trade blows again with Punk struggling to keep his balance. Alberto decides to go a little fancy with one of his blows and Punk ducks, slams himself and del Rio to the mat....and locks in the Anaconda Vise! Punk has the Vise locked in! Del Rio's face is now colored with panic! He can't get out! Punk is screaming at him to tap as Del Rio continues to struggle to the ropes.....he's a fingertip away....Punk is cranking on the Vise.....Del Rio taps! Del Rio taps!
Winner: CM Punk
After the match the crowd chants "THAT WAS AWESOME!" as both men are spent! The ref raises Punk's hand as Alberto rolls to the outside. Good night everybody!
