Southern Heavyweight champion: Marcus Anthony
Southern Tag Team champions: Mohammad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes
TV champion: Johnny Spade
Women's champion: Heidi Lovelace
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. This past week saw the Saturday Night Special with the big news coming out that there are new Tag Team champions as Mohammad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes regained the title, but maybe even bigger than that is the breakup of Marcus Anthony and Smooth Johnny Spade, with a showdown between the 2 wrestlers for the Southern Title now seemingly inevitable for May 3. Dean comments that there is also some unfortunate news, being the attack on Rudy Switchblade by Mike Mondo. Word is that Switchblade is not here tonight from the attack and it may be a long time before he is able to return to the ring with tests still being carried out. Titus calls Mondo's attack glorious and that it shows a vicious side to Mondo that could return him to his former glory back at the top of the rankings here in Ohio Valley. Dean gets upset and questions how the hell Titus can pain that attack in a positive light, but Gilbert interrupts because out to the ring to start the show ...
Danny Davis hits the ring!
An unexpected surprise to start the show as the owner and match maker here in Ohio Valley enters the ring. The fans give Davis a standing ovation, but he says that while he thanks the fans for that, he is not out for a celebratory reason right now. Last Saturday at the Saturday Night Special, Mike Mondo viciously attacked Rudy Switchblade after their match, and in his opinion, the attack was senseless and had absolutely nothing to do with pro wrestling. Because of that attack, Switchblade is not here tonight and he may never be here again pending test results that are ongoing. While he wishes he could turn back time, he can't, and what's done is done, but that does not mean that Mike Mondo is getting off with just a warning or suspension. He is also not here tonight, and that is because effective immediately, Mike Mondo is indefinitely suspended from Ohio Valley and not only that, but he is going to do everything in his power to make sure that Mondo does not work anywhere ever again. Other NWA promoters he has spoken to are equally disgusted by the act, and as far as he's concerned, he hopes Mondo never wrestles again! Huge news, but there is an interruption ...
... and it is the TV champion Smooth Johnny Spade. He enters the ring and tells Davis that he means no disrespect right now to Rudy Switchblade by coming out here, but he has something he needs to get off his chest and he wants Davis to hear it. For months now, he has asked and pleaded for a chance at the Southern championship, only to be repeatedly blocked by Timmy Danger. Last Saturday though, that relationship was terminated with a punctuation known as the superkick heard round Kentuckiana. What he wants to know is what all these people want to know. When does Smooth Johnny Spade get his opportunity at Marcus Anthony and the Southern Title? Before Davis can answer, Timmy Danger is out in his familiar wheelchair once again, maybe necessary this time unlike the previous sham. Marcus Anthony pushes it to ringside before standing off to the side doing his best Brock Lesnar imitation to strike fear into Spade. Danger says he hates to interrupt this and disappoint the fans but there will be no match between Spade and Anthony, not tonight, not ever. Davis wants to know who suddenly made Danger the match maker around here, while Danger says it has nothing to do with who makes the matches, but who controls the talent. Spade may have superkicked him last Saturday, but his contract still belongs to him, and as long as he is TV champion, he has a title to defend and a list of available contenders a mile long. In fact, he has a title to defend tonight because Danger has signed a rematch with Spade defending against the Psychadelic Superstar Chris Silvio. Spade says for Anthony to quit ducking and dodging him and face him like a man. Anthony hops up to the apron as the fans cheer, teases doing it right now, but promptly steps down and back to the floor. Not tonight Danger says, and suggests Spade worry about his title defense later tonight.

Match #1
Raul Lamotta defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:52 via pinfall with a schoolboy. A nothing match that is more designed to introduce the TV audience to the Pastor of Disaster, the Reverend Stuart Miles, who comes ringside with a live mic during the contest and starts belittling the Davis Arena fans as sinners once again. In addition to that, he comments on the 2 wrestlers in the ring. 1, an illegal immigrant he can only assume, and the other, a white rapper boy that seems to have his race confused. Miles tells them that he can help both of them overcome their identity issues through the gospel and word of the big man upstairs himself. Elvis tells the referee to get him away from here, allowing Lamotta to take advantage of the distraction and get a win. Little celebration with Miles just continuing that pretty soon, both of these wrestlers, everybody in the back, and all the fans will witness the clense as the Pastor of Disaster saves the Ohio Valley from their sinning ways.

Before the next match, the once again Southern Tag Team champions Mohammad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes are out to a big pop from the fans. They join for commentary on the next match, an important match in determining who their next challengers will be.
Match #2
Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion defeat The Mobile Homers @ 8:15 when Stallion pinned Ted McNaler after The French Connection. Adam Revolver tried to break up the count, but Jonze was able to intercept him and prevent that to give the new Marauders the important win here tonight. During the match, Michael Hayes, the former war hero that lost his leg serving in Iraq said that while he does not agree with Shiloh Jonze's choices, freedom of speech was something that he and every other soldier fought for and he has the right to pick and choose whoever he wants as a partner. Dean says it must frustrate him though to see these men act as a militant group when they have done nothing to earn the right. Hayes answers that they will find out in due time in the ring. After the match, Stallion takes the mic and addresses the manager of the Mobile Homers, Brittany Devore, and tells her to leave them behind and get with a real man like himself. Mohammad Ali Vaez & Hayes stand and get in the ring. Stallion asks what they think they are doing, with Vaez answering back that the 2 of them need to worry less about her and more about them. Jonze tells Vaez to be quiet and stop pretending to be a fake American out here, acting like he cares about these people. He says the reason he aligned himself with Stallion is because he realized that this country needs a new direction, and clearly freedom is not working, so they are going to have to beat it into each and every American, starting with Vaez & Hayes. The wrestlers come to blows as referees are out, with Jonze & Stallion eventually exiting the ring and retreating with Vaez & Hayes challenging them to come back.

Match #3
Eddie Diamond defeats The Marksman Nick Dumeyer @ 5:38 via submission with the Cripwalk Crossface. A back and forth match, but ultimately the returning Dumeyer is no match for EFD. The commentators talk about Diamond's "match" with The Pope Elijah Burke at the Saturday Night Special during the match, with Titus mockingly putting over EFD as having defeated a former Southern champion and worldwide superstar like Burke. Dean says that The Pope was out of line and not only by forfeiting to EFD because he was too good to wrestle him, but what he did later in the night, costing Jamin Olivencia the Southern championship against Marcus Anthony. Titus says it would have never happened if Burke had just been given the opportunity he deserves, while Dean simply says he cannot wait for the day when Jamin gets his hands on Burke and gets revenge for what happened. Gilbert suggests that we could see it as there is no doubt Jamin wants that match more than anything at this point.

Backstage and Rockstar Ryan Howe is tuning his guitar when Ray Lynn comes up, seemingly interested. She asks Howe if she can play him something on the guitar, but before he can answer back, The Body Guy makes an unwanted appearance in the picture. He suggests that Ray Lynn drop any thoughts of Howe because a real man has just arrived. She asks where is he and who is it, prompting Howe to chuckle. The Body Guy gets in his face and asks what's so funny. Howe tells him that if he has a problem, they can settle this in the ring like men. The Body Guy steps back and says easy, easy, because he does not want to settle this with Howe, he wants to settle this in the ring with Ray Lynn! That's right, he wants a match 1 on 1 with her to teach her what a real man is like. Howe asks if the lesson is through the opposite of what The Body Guy is, and tells him to pick on somebody his own size. Ray Lynn says that he is her size, causing a frustrated Body Guy to walk off.
Elsewhere backstage, the recently returned Taeler Hendrix is talking with Nikki St. John and Serena about Serena's loss at the Saturday Night Special. Taeler tells her that in order to get acceptance here in their clique, Serena's job was to go out and win the Women's Title from Heidi Lovelace and hand it to Taeler on a silver platter, but she didn't do that. Nikki adds that she didn't, echoing Taeler. Serena apologizes, but says that she will do right the next time around. Taeler tells her that she had better, or else. Serena asks or else what? Taeler is taken back and nervously backtracks a bit by saying or else Nikki will have something to say. Serena asks Nikki what that is as Taeler uses that as an out to leave while Nikki tries explaining herself to Serena.
Elsewhere backstage, Paredyse is talking to Stephon J Baxter III about their teaming up last weekend at the Saturday Night Special. Paredyse tells Baxter that his whole Einstein thing is holding him back and he intends to give him a make over, turning him from geek to chic. Baxter seems nervous about the idea, and before they can continue, in walks The Pope Elijah Burke. He asks the 2 of them if they have seem Jamin Olivencia here tonight. Neither have, as a cautious Burke gets cocky saying that's good and the reason he is not here is because he's scared of him after what he did last week. Paredyse asks if that is him, causing Burke to quickly turn, but Paredyse says my mistake as it is referee Chris Sharpe. He informs Burke that Olivencia will be here next week, and he has been passed a message from Jamin that he is going to call out Burke in the ring. Burke seems surprised by that, but says good and he hopes that Jamin brings it because he is going to be here next week and ready for a fight. Jamin Olivencia vs Elijah Burke next week?

After the combatants in the main event come out, Marcus Anthony is out again, rolling out Timmy Danger in his wheelchair to ringside to watch this TV Title match unfold. A surprise turn of events would come though ...
Match #4
The Psychadelic Superstar defeats Smooth Johnny Spade via forfeit when Spade hands over the TV Title! OVW match maker Danny Davis comes out and confers with referee Joe Wheeler on this. Timmy Danger takes a mic and says he owns Spade's contract and he can't do this, the only way to lose a title in OVW is by pinfall or submission so Spade had better fight or he is still champion. Davis asks Spade if he is sure he wants to do this? Spade says yes, as Davis takes hold of the TV Title belt. Danger yells for Davis to give it back and then tells Anthony to go into the ring and retrieve the belt! Davis tells Anthony to stop and not take another step unless he wants to follow in the footsteps of Mike Mondo. This causes Anthony to stop dead as Danger seems to agree with that, probably caring more about control over the Southern championship than a suspension on Anthony specifically. Davis says that Danger is right unfortunately. The only way to win a championship here in OVW is via pinfall or submission, so Chris Silvio is not winning the championship this way ...
... BUT ...
... it is within a champion's rights to forfeit a title should they decide to do so, thus Smooth Johnny Spade is not the TV champion either, so effective immediately, the TV Title is now vacant! The commentators seem confused by this. Davis apologizes to Silvio & Mo Green about this, but says they will have their opportunity at the championship in a fair way to be announced next week here on TV. As for Spade, while Davis never likes to see a champion lose a title this way, this does effectively end his current contractual obligations of defending the title going forward. Danger shakes his head because he knows where this is going. Davis says that furthermore, Spade was never defeated for the title, which would mean he is still towards the top of the rankings here in OVW. Spade says that he gave up that title for 1 reason and 1 reason only, the opportunity to challenge Marcus Anthony for the Southern Title. Davis asks the fans if the fans if they want to see it? They cheer, and Davis says that on May 3 at the next Saturday Night Special, it will be Marcus Anthony defending the Southern Title against Smooth Johnny Spade! This gets a big reaction as Danger can't believe it. He says that if Davis wants to do it this way, then fine, but they are going to do it right now. Anthony hops to the ring as at the start, but this time enters. He charges at Spade, but he ducks and quickly slides out to the floor. In the blink of an eye, Spade blasts Danger with the superkick, knocking the wheel chair over. Anthony can only watch as Spade points to him and motions around his waist to say that the Southern Title will soon be his. The match is now official, May 3 at the Saturday Night Special, Smooth Johnny Spade challenges Marcus Anthony for the Southern championship!
