Southern Heavyweight champion: Marcus Anthony
Southern Tag Team champions: Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion
TV champion: Chris Silvio
Women's champion: Heidi Lovelace
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. Last week's broadcast ended with a big announcement from Danny Davis after a controversial finish in the #1 contender match with Jamin Olivencia vs Elijah Burke, and that is that on June 7 at the next Saturday Night Special, it will be both men challenging Marcus Anthony for the Southern Title in a 3 way dance. Also last week, we found out that it will be Rudy Switchblade returning against Mike Mondo for revenge in the dreaded Mexican Death Rope match, only once before in the history of OVW have we seen that match. Tonight Mondo is in action against former co holder of the Tag Team Title Michael Hayes as he prepares for that match. Also tonight, another look at Big Rob Terry, Rockstar Ryan Howe, plus a whole lot more, but right now ...
The Pope Elijah Burke is out!
Burke is not pleased with the finish of last week's main event and wants referee Chris Sharpe out right now to explain why he took away the win and a 1 on 1 opportunity for him against big Marcus Anthony at the next SNS. Sharpe comes out and enters the ring with Burke telling him that last week, he had pinned Jamin Olivencia in the ring before Sharpe took the win away. He also points out that it was Sharpe who counted his shoulders down at the SNS match with Olivencia before a second, more competent referee made the right call to give him the win. Burke wants to know straight up if Sharpe has it out for him or something, and why his win was taken away from him. Before Sharpe can answer though, Josh Ashcraft is out. The second referee from all the controversy. He tells Sharpe that last week that he made a bad call by reversing his decision and that he (Ashcraft) was the original referee and his decision stands. Sharpe questions why Ashcraft even made the count when he saw Olivencia had hit the exposed turnbuckle. Ashcraft tells him that he does not have to answer to him for his refereeing ...
... at that moment, the music of Jamin Olivencia hit and he enters the ring. He tells them all that it is funny because while Ashcraft may not have to answer to Sharpe, he is going to have to answer to him right now. Burke interrupts and says that Jamin is just jealous because he beat him last week, he would have beat him at the SNS the week before, and he left him laying after driving him through a table. Flat out, Jamin can not beat him and on June 7 at the SNS, it doesn't matter if he can beat Anthony, because he can beat Jamin instead and he will become the new Southern champion. At that point Danny Davis is out. He tells everybody in the ring to just shutup because he and all the fans are sick of the talk and ready for action. Tonight in the main event, it will be Jamin & Chris Silvio against Burke & Dylan Bostic, so they can settle this like men. Davis also warns both referees that he is going to have his eye on them from here on out, so they had both better call things down the middle and by the book or else there will be consequences.

Match #1
Ryan Howe defeats Nick Dumeyer @ 4:39 via tap out to the Whammy Bar, a Fujiwara Arm Bar submission. Howe picks up an important win as he seemingly heads towards a TV Title match with champion Chris Silvio based on their backstage conversation last week. During the match, Ray Lynn was out again and after the win headed in to start clapping. Much like a couple weeks back, Howe seems to have no interest in her. Out from the back comes Jessie Belle and she enters the ring. The commentators wonder what this is about as Jessie turns Ray and shoves her. They start arguing before Jessie takes her down and they start cat fighting on the mat much to the delight of Titus. Referee Joe Wheeler steps in and pulls Ray away while Howe pulls Jessie away. Apparently more than meets the eye here as Jessie took exception to Ray Lynn coming out here, but why?

Match #2
Mike Mondo defeats Michael Hayes @ 6:52 via pinfall after a double underhook DDT. A competitive match in Mondo's first outing since being reinstated last week for the Mexican Death Rope match on June 7, and an announcement that in 2 weeks time, we will get the rematch for the Tag Team Title. But the bigger story here was a tainted win with help from The International Marauders and seemingly yet another new member added to their fold. Bin Hamin was out, followed by Hayes' partner Mohammad Ali Vaez, telling him to leave and go to the back. At that point, Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion came out to jump Vaez, leading to Hayes coming out to his aid. Mondo grabbed the attention of referee Josh Ashcraft to complain about all this, at which point somebody came out with a lead pipe and hit Hayes in his real leg, essentially leaving him unable to walk. The person rolled him in, at which point Mondo finished the job. Dean said he recognized the man and it was Vaez' former tag team partner in The Insurgency from years ago when they were managed by Hamin. Hayes is hurt and what does this mean for their rematch in 2 weeks?

Before the next match, the vignette hyping the upcoming debut of "The Ultimate Fighter" from airs again. Still no specification of who that is with just shadows of a guy punching and training, but this time it gets announced he will debut in 2 more weeks on TV.
Match #3
Rob Terry defeats Elvis Pridemoore @ 2:35 via pinfall after a Thrust Spinebuster. The Freak makes quick work of another opponent here on TV as his list of casualties continues to rise. After the match, The Body Guy came out and wanted to address Terry about what happened last week on TV. Body Guy tells him that clearly there was a misunderstanding because last week when he told Terry they could be a tag team, maybe they could come to another arrangement because surely he does not want any more of "this". Terry laughs at that with Dean adding in Terry must have 100 pounds of pure muscle at least on The Body Guy. He tells Terry that instead of a tag team, he can watch his back, and that way, Terry won't have to embarrass himself and everybody will know that Terry accepts he will never have a body like his. Body Guy extends his hand as Terry seems to consider it, but upon shaking hands, Terry puts so much pressure that it drops Body Guy to his knees. Terry then picks up Body Guy in a gorilla press and drops him to the mat. Dean says that just in case there was any doubt, that was a no.

Backstage, Stephon J Baxter III is talking with Paredyse, who asks Baxter what is with the old get up here after he gave him the makeover and presented everybody with the suave and sophisticated Steven Smith. Baxter says he is not sure where Smith is, but he will be sure to pass on the message that Paredyse was looking for him, indicating some sort of Superman/Clark Kent deal is a foot, although from Paredyse's reaction, it seems pretty obvious we are all supposed to know they are the same and this is not Abyss/Joseph Park where the audience is trying to be fooled or anything. At this point, The Pastor of Disaster, Reverend Stuart Miles comes up and says that the sinners are at play but they had better be ready because the cleansing is about to begin. Paredyse tells him that the only cleansing needed is for Miles to take a shower to wash that stench off him. Miles tells Paredyse he can joke all he wants, but it starts at the June 7 SNS, and it starts with Baxter, Smith, whatever he wants to be called because he is 1 of God's creatures and the only man that can change him is the Lord himself. Paredyse says whatever as Miles leaves.
Elsewhere backstage, Taeler Hendrix & Nikki St. John are seen talking with Scarlett Bordeaux. Taeler says that last week on TV, Scarlett showed she is more of a Mean Girl than Serena ever was, and with her help and undevoted loyalty, it won't be long before Taeler is once again wearing the Women's Title. Although, she'd better not get the wrong idea because she's the boss and what she says goes. Just then Heidi Lovelace comes up. Taeler tells her to keep that belt shiny because before too long, she'll have it around her waist. Heidi says that after what happened last week, Serena may be gone from OVW, but she has been in contact with 2 wrestlers that dislike Taeler and her attitude as much as she does and on June 7 at the SNS, she's challenging the 3 of them to a 6 woman tag team match. Taeler agrees because she knows Heidi has no friends as the 3 laugh at the champ before she walks off telling her to just be ready for June 7.
Elsewhere backstage, Southern champion Marcus Anthony is talking with Timmy Danger. Danger says that what happened last week was a travesty and it shows how desperate OVW is to get the title off Anthony. The champ tells Danger not to worry because whether it is 1 opponent, 2 opponents, or 100 opponents, he will beat them all. Danger laughs and reassured says that is what he's talking about and just to show the world what Anthony is made of, in 2 weeks they're going to have a demonstration because he is signing Anthony to a title match against an under dog. It doesn't matter who because they are all about opportunity and they want the chance to show Jamin Olivencia and Elijah Burke what is in store for them. Eddie Diamond comes up again as Danger says speaking of under dogs and laughs. Diamond asks Danger if he has seen Smooth Johnny Spade lately. Danger says he hasn't, and nobody has or ever will after what Anthony did to him. Diamond says that he saw him earlier, in fact, he was in their dressing room. This gets Anthony pissed as he storms over and opens the door. Danger follows with the camera on them and the wall just says "Danger is next", leaving the manager in fear.
-- Fifth commercial break --
Match #4
Jamin Olivencia & Chris Silvio defeat Elijah Burke & Dylan Bostic @ 13:26 when Olivencia pinned Bostic after the O Drop, a jumping bodyscissors into a DDT. Late in the match, Burke had a chance to tag in and face Olivencia tonight, but instead opted to drop down from the ring apron and walk away. This left Bostic alone against the 2 wrestlers where Olivencia easily finished him off in his worn out state. After the match, Olivencia called for Burke to come back to the ring, but Burke had no interest in fighting him tonight, just saying he would see him on June 7 at the SNS. From behind Burke as he is facing the ring, out steps Marcus Anthony. Burke backs up into him and turns to see the Southern champion there with manager Timmy Danger by his side. The show ends with Anthony at the entrance, Olivencia in the ring, and Burke in between. Dean says things are really heating up as Gilbert says there will be no TV next week, but to come back in 2 weeks time where it will be Mohammad Ali Vaez & Michael Hayes getting their rematch at Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion for the Tag Team Title, assuming Hayes can even compete, as well as the debut of this "Ultimate Fighter" guy we've been hearing about, Jessie Belle vs Ray Lynn in the ring, and Marcus Anthony defends the Southern Title against an under dog challenger. 2 weeks, come back for more OVW!
