FURY TV!
SEGMENT
Keiji Muto makes his way out to the ring to a great ovation from this strong crowd here tonight. The building is not quite sold out, but that's to be expected from the debut of a new promotion, despite the star power boasted on this show. Muto says that the fans here tonight will be treated to a full night of hard hitting, exciting action, which will be cut into two episodes for NWA Japan's new flagship program, titled "FURY TV!"
He says the main event for tonight's episode will see two battle tested and heated rivals in Minoru Suzuki and Yuji Nagata going head to head, but says next week's show will feature the main evening is going to be a four-way match to determine who will face World Heavyweight champion, Samoa Joe, on an episode to come! He says the four men involved will be Hiroshi Tanahashi (big pop), Kazuchika Okada (mixed reaction), Shinsuke Nakamura (boos), and Togi Makabe (pretty big pop)!
Music hits and out comes SHINSUKE NAKAMURA to a chorus of boos! Nakamura just smirks and has a microphone in hand.
Nakamura:
"You sheep... you just don't get it. You don't understand why I am the way I am, why I punish your heroes and expose them for what they are: inferior. For years, guys like Tanahashi have been paraded as the best, and for years I have taken him down, and proven myself to be superior. For years it has been ME who has gone all across the globe, fought the best of the best, and for years I have proven myself to be the greatest export Japan has ever had... and will ever have. No thanks to you people, and no thanks to anyone but myself!"
Nakamura makes his way down to the ring, and stands face to face with Muto.
Nakamura:
"Muto, you and the other old codgers who do the booking around here... you know what's best for business. You know I'm the draw, I'm the money, and that's why you've practically handed me that shot against Samoa Joe. You see, people, he knows, and all of the other old fools know, that what's best for business is Nakamura, because I am the only man who can bring that championship gold to this company. But it's not about this company, or Japan, or even that belt. It's about proving what I've known all along, and that is I am the single greatest wrestler in the history of this sport; the most dominate, the most cunning, the most fierce, and there is no one... NO ONE who can deny me that once I have that gold strapped snug around my waist!"
Music hits, and out comes Tanahashi to a huge ovation! There are some haters, but you can barely hear them as the crowd roars.
Tanahashi:
"Woah, woah, woah... Nakamura, I didn't think it was possible, but you are more delusional than you are ugly, and that's saying a lot! I fight for the people, and my people are right here, and I am right where I belong! I didn't have to whore myself out like you did, making shady deals with anyone willing to put you on TV here or there... the real champion stands here, the real star of this sport, and I don't have to tell anybody I'm the best around, I don't have to waste my breath going down the list of accomplishments and try to impress these people, because their cheers tell me everything I need to know, and if you were smart, you'd shut up and listen up!"
Muto sees Nakamura advancing and tries to get things settled, but Tanahashi is down the ramp and it's looking like things are about to explode... until none other than "The Rainmaker" himself, Kazuchika Okada, makes his way out! Okada poses on the ramp with a mic in hand, the fans giving him a very loud but mixed reaction.
Okada:
"Humble yourselves... in the presence of a God."
This incites a reaction, and both Tanahashi and Nakamura shake their heads, mocking Okada.
Okada:
"This is truly pathetic. Tanahashi, you're nothing if not a false idol, while Nakamura, you're ploys to try and get attention are far too easy to see through. Your tough talk, Shinsuke, only serves as a crutch, trying to prop up a lackluster career, as traveled as it may be. The reason you get so upset when people deride your skills is because while punches, kicks, and impressive holds may be painful, nothing hurts worse than the truth!"
The fans have to give him that one, and Nakamura takes a step back, looking as though he is plotting Okada's death.
Okada:
"And Tanahashi, just because you know hear your name the loudest doesn't mean you are the best, or are anything special... these fans are just smart enough to know that one should never use their Lord's name in vain. When you say my name, you evoke something far greater than yourself, the wrath of which is both powerful and now legendary. These people, inconsequential as they are, they look to you because they see what they would like to be. They dare to dream they could be you, Hiroshi. As for me... they could never dream that big. The imagination of Japan and the world is only so great, and I am afraid I just that much greater. Try to imagine nothing... try to imagine Heaven... even more incomprehensible is the idea of my existence, and you two, and all of you, will never know what it means to be 'The Rainmaker'."
Okada lowers his mic, and just... the whole place is just buzzing over these bold comments. That is until Okada is smashed from behind with a chair by TOGI MAKABE! Nakamura takes the opportunity to dive through the ropes and pounce onto Tanahashi from behind, and all Hell has broken loose! Makabe is stomping Okada into the ground, then takes a beverage from an audience member and spits it all over "The Rainmaker", flipping him the birds after doing so and getting a huge positive reaction! Security makes their way down and pulls the four men apart, and we have to take a commercial break!

SINGLES MATCH
Atsushi Aoki vs. KUSHIDA
KUSHIDA has a very exciting, fast paced style, and Aoki realizes early he has to neutralize it. Aoki utilizes many quick counters and takes advantage of KUSHIDA's dare devil tendencies. KUSHIDA manages to escape Aoki's clutches and delivers a big Handspring Enzuigiri, which he attempts to follow up with a Corkscrew Moonsault, but Aoki avoids it, pouncing on KUSHIDA and locking him up into a tight Cross Armbar to get the submission victory!

SINGLES MATCH
Hiroyo Matsumoto vs. Kana
Kana and Matsumoto have a lot to prove here, as this is kicking off a women's division for which the company has high hopes and they do not disappoint. The match is short, but very raw, brutal, and spirited, as these two show no forgiveness. Each strike echoes through the arena, but the most notable part of the contest is the rough and tumble ground action, which sees both women go back and forth slamming and pounding each other into the mat, trying to see who will cave first under the pressure. The former World Women's champion, Kana, manages to latch on with a Triangle Choke to which Matsumoto had no answer accept to tap out, and the fans gave this a very good reaction.

SEGMENT
Backstage, KENTA can be seen heading towards the ring. An interviewer steps in and asks him how he feels about his upcoming match with Naomichi Marufuji.
KENTA:
"Sometimes in this life and in this business, your stars seem to be crossed with that of another human being, and your fate's just always seem to collide. Tonight will be a battle like I've had many times, as Marufuji has been both a partner and a pain in my ass for a very long time. Tonight is a new chapter, though. And I plan to write the last word, and then burn the book for good! There was a lot of talk earlier in the night about who's the best, and who should have championship gold... the fact that I'm not in that match to determine who faces Samoa Joe is a damned travesty, and it's all because this is what management wants. They want me to go out and have a match with Marufuji, because they know it will be good and they know the fans will like it, and that's all they care about. Well, tonight, Marufuji's fate aligns with mine one more time, and tonight, I stomp on his fate and crush it into oblivion, and I send a loud message to management and these fans. Tonight, you won't be able to deny the 'Best of the Best' his respect, and Samoa Joe had better not worry about those four jokers, because if he can't deal with them, he's going to have a Hell of time when he meets me!"
KENTA heads to the ring from there.
SINGLES MATCH
KENTA vs. Naomichi Marufuji
KENTA seems bound and determined to hurt Marufuji, showing him no respect and attacking him viciously. Marufuji attacks the legs, slamming Marufuji's left leg into the guard railing and wrapping it around the turnpost after kicking and striking it relentlessly. The fans rally behind Marufuji, who shows resilience and strength, fighting back and daring to put weight on the left leg after taking undeniable damage early on, but it just seems like too much has been done. KENTA smells blood and goes for the kill, looking for the Go 2 Sleep, but Marufuji blocks it and delivers a Tiger Screw, followed by a Superkick to the kneeling and ailing KENTA, but KENTA kicks out! Marufuji hobbles and tries to pull in KENTA for a Fisherman's Suplex perhaps, but KENTA breaks free and sends a high kick right into the face of Marufuji, following up by running and delivering a flush Single High Knee to face chin, flipping Marufuji on contact! KENTA makes the cover, and it's all over!
KENTA picks up Marufuji, though, as he's not done, lifting him and delivering a big Go 2 Sleep! Marufuji is out cold and the fans are booing KENTA, but KENTA leaves with cold look in his eyes, knowing that his message should have been heard loud and clear throughout the locker room and perhaps the NWA.

SINGLES MATCH
Minoru Suzuki vs. Yuji Nagata
These two have been known for having a rivalry, as they've had some great wars for years and this one was pretty good. The striking and grappling aptitude here is second to none, as two world class warriors came in and really put on a clinic. Suzuki would hit two Cradle Piledrivers in this match, and would have Nagata near to tapping with a Rear Naked Choke, but Nagata showed his resilience, kicking out and breaking each dangerous hold time after time. Nagata would manage to deliver his big Spinning Brainbuster, following up right into a Crippler Crossface, but Suzuki seemed determined not to submit, withstanding what had to be agonizing pain for nearly a full minute. That is until something completely unexpected happened!
The referee was forced to call for the bell as three men made their way from the crowd and began to assault both Nagata and Suzuki. The stockiest of the three would lift both men up, and the two more slender men would jump from the middle rope, delivering nasty Double Spike Piledrivers to these veterans as these fans boo the roof off! From under the hoods, the culprits are revealed as KOTA IBUSHI, TAICHI, AND SHUJI KONDO! All three men stand over the fallen with two fists raised in the air, and none other than JUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER makes his way from back, wearing a black mask and a dark suit! The fans just don't know what to think now.
Liger:
"What you are looking at, ladies and gentlemen and the rest of the wrestling world... is The Change. The old guard has stood at the gates for a long time, and there are many trying to clutch to their spots, fear in their hearts and their eyes. Just as the sea levels rise because the ice caps melt, just as the nuclear fall out consumes all when nature turns against man... one must, at some point, acknowledge The Change, and recognize the threat. The threat is real, ladies and gentlemen, and you either change... or die. I was the catalyst for so much change in this business, and when I look at these three men, the brave vanguard of this sport, the ones who are here to evolve it and break all barriers and shatter all preconceived notions... when I look at them, I see hope. I see an era of truth, an era of natural law, and unfortunately what you saw there was the fallout of that natural law. Suzuki and Nagata are just the beginning. Change or die, NWA Japan... the threat is very real."
The three men pose again as the fans have come around to a more mixed, but strong, reaction after hearing the words of Liger, and the first episode of FURY TV! comes to a close.
