The show opens with Zack Sabre Jr and Tommaso Ciampa skulking around in the ring as the crowd dies down from it's ovation to a low murmur.

Zack: There are a couple of titles that have been collecting dust over in the states... A couple of belts that belong partially to Tommaso and I. If our former mates can't handle the belts, we sure as hell can. The UK Pistols are throwing down the challenge, we carried the pistols then, and we'll prove it.

Ciampa whispers into Zack's ear as a wicked grin traces itself across the face of Sabre.

Zack: At the Bash we're going to take the North American tag titles, and rechristen them the International Tag Team titles!

NWA UNITED X QUALIFIER MATCH
Tommy End vs. Owen Phoenix

This was a match to showcase some incredible young talents. The match started off with a nice even exchange but quickly End brought in his educated feet roundhouse kicking Owen before hitting the mat to try to stretch him in ungodly ways. Owen is a fighter and was able to keep himself in the match using the ropes as his saving grace. Owen was able to catch a boot from Tommy tossing him with a t-bone suplex following up with a flip senton for a two count! Owen would try again to score the win this time with a springboard moonsault but Tommy would get his knees up and double over the young Phoenix. Tommy was able to catch Owen with an ace cutter transitioning into a dragon sleeper but Owen was able to fight to a rope break! Tommy wouldn't release the vicious hold until the ref was forced to give him the first yellow card of NWA UNITED. Tommy looked a bit pissed but tried going back to work on a weakened Owen Phoenix, but Owen would break away and score with a leaping spin kick! This was Owens big opportunity as he came off the ropes with a shooting star press but End would get out of the way again, quickly transitioning into the chancery/dragon sleeper style hold forcing Owen to submit!


The PM of NWA UNITED, Nigel McGuinness makes his way to the ring looking pretty damned pleased with himself.

Nigel: I'm very proud to call the shots here in NWA UNITED, and tonight we're going to literally crown the champion! I've selected the two brit's that made it the furthest in the World title tournament. Tonight's main event is Magnus going one on one with Wade Barrett! The w--

Nigel didn't look pleased as "The Boss" Johnny Moss along with "The Twisted Genius" Dean Ayass came out onto the ramp.

Dean: Bollocks! How can you talk about crowning a champion and not mention my clients name? Johnny was the unbeaten holder of the crown in NWA UK, he should be handed the crown, and Magnus and Barrett can just sod off!

Nigel: I never thought I'd say this in a million years but you might be right Dean. I should mention Moss. Because now the main event will be a triple threat! Now YOU can sod off!

NWA UNITED X QUALIFIER BOUT
"The Israeli Icon" Noam Dar vs. "Legit" CJ Banks

This match contained so much text book wrestling and counters as both men have a real command of the squared circle. Dar got a huge pop when he hip tossed Banks and followed up with a running drop kick! It only got Dar a two count but it helped him get a chance to pick at Banks leg trying to soften him up for the knee bar. These men both use a submission hold as a favorite finish so both men tried hard to protect themselves from the eventual submission finish. Banks would get frustrated stomping and punching away at Dar in the corner resulting in getting a yellow card from the ref that really pissed off Banks as he argued with the ref before going back to work snapping off a beautiful suplex for a near fall. Banks would go to work on the leg of Dar twisting it viciously, Noam would grab the ropes trying to force a rope break but Banks wouldn't let go! The ref would throw up a second yellow card leaving Banks one away from getting DQ'd! Banks would turn red with anger getting into the refs face again but this time Dar would school boy Banks and hold him down for a three! Noam would give a cheeky smile as he slipped out to the floor leaving Banks beside himself.


The show cuts to the back where Zack Sabre Jr who is walking through a hallway in the back, where Marty Scurll would pop out of a door a ways behind him.

Marty: Zack! Mate!

Zack continues to walk even rolling his eyes trying to ignore his... former tag partner?

Marty: Zack, mate didn't you hear me calling for you? I just got in and people are telling me you're teaming with Ciampa now? and you've challenged for the North American tag titles? Mate your not even in North America! and what about us? We're the leaders of the new school!

Zack: Yeah, we WERE Marty. We WERE a tag team that couldn't get it done. We WERE contenders for the world titles, but YOU couldn't get it done. Ciampa and I are winners, you mate your dead weight.

Marty is stunned as Sabre shrugs off Scurll, continuing down the hallway smirking at his own devilish deed.

SINGLES BOUT
"The Footie Hooligan" Danny Burch vs. "The Swiss Superman" Antonio Cesaro

Antonio would stand in the ring waiting as Burch would come through the crowd starting a chant and getting the crowd rowdy! Burch would even drink a beer with a fan at ringside! Cesaro would have enough going after Danny, but Burch would spit beer into Antonio's face before leveling him with a clothesline on the outside! The outside of the ring is where Burch makes his money as he pummeled the Swiss Superman! Cesaro would pull himself up with the help of the ring post as Burch tried to splash him up against it but Cesaro would show his power giving Burch a huge pop up euro uppercut on the outside! "HOLY SHIT!" chants would echo through the building as Cesaro brought the match back into the ring, putting a foot on Burch's chest in an arrogant two count! Burch would fight his way to his feet dazing Cesaro before coming off the ropes looking for a clothesline but Antonio would duck and pick his opponents legs before giving him that dizzying leg swing dumping the Hooligan unceremoniously before taunting the crowd. Cesaro tried to finish the match with a pyramid bomb but Burch would back body drop him off before laying in a vicious elbow drop, even going as far as to push his thumbs into the eyes of Cesaro. The brutality gained Burch a yellow card but he didn't care, he'd take the card from the ref and chew it up spitting it into the face of Cesaro, resulting in a second yellow card! Burch would belly to back suplex Cesaro before trying to get Antonio held up for the London Bridge DDT, but Cesaro would fight back as if his life depended on it! Cesaro still wasn't 100% and almost got his head taken off with a lariat from the Hooligan. It still wasn't enough to put the Swiss Superman away! The crowd was totally into this match as Burch tried again for a huge lariat but Cesaro would use another pop up euro uppercut before finishing off the battle with a neurtalizer leaving both men down in the ring not able to get up immediatly after a war!

NWA UNITED CROWN TRIPLE THREAT BOUT
Magnus vs. Wade Barrett vs. Johnny Moss w/ Dean Ayass

Any one of these men would make a deserving champion and all three of these men will lay everything on the line to be crowned champion of NWA UNITED. The crown is a stepping stone towards a shot at the NWA World Heavyweight title, and as the bell sounded you could just feel the big fight atmosphere capping off an incredible night of action! Moss was almost immediatly chucked out of the match by both opponents leaving it to Barrett and Magnus to go toe to toe. The two adversaries would quickly start shelling each other with heavy hands, with Barrett getting the upper hand, but the hitman of the UK wasn't a slouch as he threw a knee to the midsection of Barrett to protect himself from further punishment. Magnus would pick apart Barrett, stomping out the back of his legs as much as possible. Barrett is a big guy but take out his legs and he's as easy target. Moss would finally make his way back into the match but would get blasted with a knock out shot from Barrett sending him tumbling out of the ring again! Magnus would chop block Barrett bringing him down as he continued to dismantle the bearer of bad news. Magnus tried whipping Barrett off the ropes but Wade would come back with a bull hammer elbow trying to follow up with Wasteland but his knee's would give out! Magnus would get nailed with a knock out shot from Barrett that was more desperation than anything but Moss was quick to pounce on the wounded Barrett driving him to the mat with a bridging german suplex but only got a two! Barrett would use another knock out shot on Moss, but ended up getting low blowed by Magnus while the ref was checking on Moss! Magnus would use his rolling reverse neckbreaker, giving a sigh as he looks over both opponents laying on the mat. The announce team and crowd were freaking out until Magnus grabbed the arm of Moss dragging him over Barrett, threatening the ref to count the pinfall as Moss wins the UNITED Crown!


Magnus would pick up Moss who looked to be on dream street as Ayass slithered into the ring clapping like a maniac! Ayass would pull an envelope out of his coat pocket handing it to Magnus who looked a bit ashamed but took the pay off anyhow as the show faded to black!

This really feels right, as I can see an increased vigor in the writing and I absolutely loved the match descriptions. Very well done and smart. I'm a big fan of the way you have used CJ Banks in the past, and while he lost here, he looked great and lost to a real top star and future prospect in Noam Dar. I also thought the segments were well done, as the NA Tag Title race is about as hot as ever with all of this Pistol controversy I'm glad we've been able to dredge up. Marty Scurll is probably going to be looking for some revenge after that major slight by Sabre, I'd have to imagine. I am also a HUGE fan of the use of Danny Burch, as I find his matches to be my consistent favorites on your UK shows and this losing effort by him was no different, having an all out war with Cesaro. I think it was extremely smart putting the crown back on Moss, and leaves Magnus open to garner heat and go for bigger things. Very interesting and great booking.

Very good debut show man, I agree with Joe that there was definitely an increased passion in the writing, your going to do great with the UK. End/Phoenix and Dar/Banks were both solid matchups, and Cesaro/Burch was great stuff (and a match I wouldn't have minded seeing irl). The main event played out niely, and I kind of expected there to be a twist to give Moss a tainted win. Good stuff man

I like the direction you went with this first show. The X Division Title is getting a good build to being decided, and Tommy End vs Noam Dar should be a good match. Not as familiar with Dar, but End is a pretty exciting talent, especially the Dragon Sleeper and its setup. Also not familiar with the card system in wrestling, but getting the hang of it here with 3 yellows being a DQ from reading this, and presumably a red for a more major infraction being an instant DQ? Same with the Sabre and Scurll thing, not familiar, but from what I read, pretty easy to understand their past and what is going on with them.

Nigel really came into his own as an authority figure in ROH. In this era of excessive faces or more often excessive heels, he is refreshing in a more neutral role. From the sounds of things, makes sense to add Moss if he went undefeated last time as champion so it does not come across as Nigel backing down or anything like that, just making the right move.

Burch and Cesaro was a good setup to the main.

I like that Moss won as he easily gains the most by having the title. At the same time, why Magnus would not rather be champion? Not sure. You put over being champion as a stepping stone to the World Title, in theory being champion should be more money anyway so why take a pay off when he could easily have won the title? Interested to see where things go from here and specifically what happens with Magnus. You made sure to point out he looked ashamed doing it so there is clearly a backing story to come. This is definitely a finish that leaves me with questions, but I would assume that was the point so it is not like I am faulting this in any way since it reads like the commentators would be putting over a "why Magnus, why" as much as "Moss is the new champion", and the viewer should have these questions leaving the show. That minor detail is a big difference maker between Magnus looking like a complete idiot in not taking the Title when he had the chance and standing there gloating with Moss & Ayass like they pulled 1 over on everybody, and instead looking like he had to do it as the start to something far more elaborate for him.

Good writing, but more than that, great story telling and attention to detail here.

I guess I should explain the card system:

Minor infractions will net you a yellow card, you get 2 yellow cards. Instead of a 3rd yellow card it's a red card DQ.

Ignoring a rope break, keeping someone in the corner too long, excessive arguing with the ref etc.

Any major infractions will net you a red card DQ.

Low Blow, Chair Shots, interference etc.
