• This match was back and forth for a good portion of the match, until the ref took a bump and fell to the outside of the ring after Clay hot Cole with a desperation Samoan Drop. With the ref out, and Cole writhing in pain, Clay removed the corner cover, exposing the steel turnbuckle. Clay whipped Cole into the corner then followed in with a splash. As the ref was coming around, Clay planted Cole with the Tongan Death Grip Choke Slam for the academic 3 count to advance to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament.
King of the Ring Semi-finals : Tyler Black pinned KUSHIDA with the Diving Knee Strike in 10:40.
• Another hard fought battle between these two men who had battled earlier in the tournament with KUSHIDA taking the victory. Black was looking to avenge the loss and move on to repeat as King of the Ring. As the two got going, the American fans were behind Black, but a large number of fans were also cheering on KUSHIDA. In the end, it looked like KUSHIDA has sustained an injury, and Black went on the attack. In the end, Black hit KUSHIDA with the match ending Diving Knee Strike to get the three count, ensuring himself a spot in the finals again NWA New York Champion, Brodus Clay!
NWA North American Tag Team Championship Match : The Pistols (c) defeated Chris Jericho and Rhino when Mike Bennett defeated Rhino via pinfall in 10:37 to retain the North American Tag Team Titles.
• The Pistols came out looking for a fight, and well Chis Jericho came out alone. Chris said that Paul had not made it to the arena, and he would take on the champions alone… and win! Just as the action started to look like Jericho would get seriously hurt, Rhino’s music hit and the ‘Man Beast’ sprinted to the ring and accepted the tag! Rhino cleaned house! The fans were going nuts! It looked like new North American Tag Champs would be crowned! The fans were foaming at the moth with the possibility of CPW holding nearly ALL of the NWA Titles! But, it wasn’t meant to be as Chris Jericho made the blind tag, then dropped Rhino with the Code Breaker and then tagged back out of the match and walked to the back! After that, it was academic for the champions to retain the titles.
NWA Television (CPW Television) Championship Match: : Damien Sandow (c) pinned Alex Riley with the Straight Jacket Neckbreaker in 11:20 to retain the NWA (CPW) Television Championship.
• Pre-match, Sandow came out and said he wasn’t booked for the show, so he was going to enlighten the fans with a poetry reading. “Roses are red, Violets are blue, CPW sucks, and…. Well so do you (pointing to the fans as the booed him relentlessly.) At that point Sandow said he was red hot in CPW, was “Officially” ‘upgrading‘ the CPW T.V Title to the NWA Television Championship! He said that this announcement was to be the highlight of the night! About that time, Riley came out and said that since Sandow was ‘Making decisions’ he was officially challenging him for the ‘official NWA Television Championship’. At first Sandow was back pedaling, but eventually, Alex goated the champion into the match. It was a good match. It went back and forth and following a poke to the eye and a nasty DDT, Sandow ended the match with his finisher. He celebrated the win as if he had just won the NWA World championship, complete with balloons falling from the arena celling. Sandow sure was full of himself!
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship Match : Daniel Bryan (c) defeated Dolph Ziggler by count out in 10:05 to retain the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
• A great match between these two. Daniel the ring general kept it to the ground, and picked up the pace to keep his challenger off balance, while Dolph entertained the crowed with high impact moves. The two battled all over the ring, on the and in the ropes and eventually the action spilled to the floor. Dolph mistimed a move and crashed face first into the ring post while trying to catch the champion during moment of rest, and knocked himself out as a result. Daniel rolled back into the ring at the 8 count and claimed the victory 2 seconds later.
CPW Heavyweight Championship Match : Ted DiBiase (c) pinned The Miz with the Dream Street in 07:46 to retain the CPW Heavyweight Championship.
• The Miz came out and challenged Ted to a match, saying that as a former ‘everything’ champion, he deserved the match. Sting and Ted came out and said the only thing that Miz deserved was a pink slip. He was not a worthy challenger and an even worse champion. This enraged Miz who attacked Sting to get to Ted. The two battled back and forth. Ted actually looked to be getting better match over match, and this encounter was no exception. Sting proved to be the difference maker as he planted Miz with the Scorpion Death drop as Ted faked an injury in the corner. Once Miz was down and out, Ted got up, walked over, pulled Miz to his feet and planted him with the Dream Street and lazily made the cover.
NWA North American Championship Match : Harry Smith (c) pinned AJ Styles with the Saito Suplex in 15:41 to retain the NWA North American Championship.
• The ‘Pit Bull’ came out with a new leaner and meaner look. He took straight to the mic and called out ANYONE in the NWA to step into the ring. Out stepped AJ Styles! The two put on possibly the match of the night as Smith and AJ matched speed for speed and nearly move for move. Smith was the stronger of the two, but still was able to maneuver around the ring. Almost to the end of the match, Mark Jindrak made his way to ring side, and pulled up a chair. He sat and watched as AJ and Smith wrestled to the fans delight. Smith tried to use a dirty tactic, and that sent Jindrak flying to the ring apron to point it out to the ref and Smith stood there looking at his most recent defeat in shock, wondering what the hell he was doing there! Smith continued to cheat, and tried to use the ropes for leverage on several occasions, only to have Jindrak object and get the ref to make Smith break the holds or risk a loss. Finally, with Jindrak on the ring apron, Smith sent AJ crashing into Mark, who then went crashing to the floor and stunned AJ. Smith nailed his challenger with the Saito Suplex to secure the win. Just as soon as the ref made the count, Jindrak stormed the ring and the two brawled for several minutes before security pulled them apart! Smith vowed to ‘End Jindrak, once and for all!’
NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match : Samoa Joe (c) made Alberto Del Rio submit to the Coquina Clutch in 17:10 to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

After the referee saw Kyle interfere, he Mathews and then threw out Lesnar for good measure! The two got back into their match and the referee let the rule book slide quite a bit. Both men were bleeding profusely by the time it was over. ADR had tried to soften up the champion in the rings and arm, focusing on where Brodus Clay had attacked the champ only a few weeks earlier. Joe on the other hand was focused on one thing: winning. This was to be his first major test since winning the NWA World Title, as ADR was a dangerous and vicious champion during his last reign at the top of the NWA. As the match came to a close, ADR tried to use his Fireman’s Carry Gut buster, but was too weak and Joe was able to slip out and lock on the Coquina Clutch for the win.
King of the Ring Finals : Brodus Clay pinned Tyler Black after a spinebuster slam in 13:16 to earn the 2014 King of the Ring tournament moniker.
• This match was a true brawl. Both men had been in wars throughout the tournament and this was the finals. Both men went all out. Clay tried to keep the match mat based, as he was trying to wear down the reigning King. Black tried to pick up the pace a bit to wear out the current NY Champion. Both men unloaded on the other, but in the end, Clay was able to cheat his way to the crown after hitting a HUGE spinebuster slam on a chair that he had brought into the ring only moments ago. As Clay celebrated, he made a motion that he wanted the NWA World Title!
