Live from Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky on July 25, 2014
Southern Heavyweight champion: Marcus Anthony
Southern Tag Team champions: Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion
TV champion: Dylan Bostic
Women's champion: Heidi Lovelace
Before the start of the show, Rockstar Ryan Howe entered the ring, electric guitar in hand. Due to popular demand after his rendition at the July 4 Kentucky Kingdom show, Howe riffs off a version of the Star Spangled Banner on the guitar and had the fans psyched up for a night of action.
Match #1
Aaron Sky & Robbie Walker defeat Nick Dumeyer & Elvis Pridemoore @ 4:53 when Sky pinned Pridemoore after a double superkick. Sky & Walker pick up their first win hereover The Ghetto Boys as the 2 tag teams have become very familiar with each other in recent weeks, including a match at the last Kentucky Kingdom show and last weekend on TV.
Match #2
The Mexicutioner defeats Bud Dwight @ 4:07 via pinfall after a spinebuster. The new bodyguard to the TV champion Dylan Bostic is in action for his singles debut against The Party Starter and dominates him from bell to bell with Dwight maybe not taking the match as seriously as he should, instead trying to focus on getting the fans hyped up and getting Mexicutioner to join him.
Match #3
The Blossom Twins defeat Scarlett Bordeaux & Nikki St. John @ 5:41 when Holly Blossom pinned St. John after The Blossom Bomb, a side slam. Fans are into The Blossoms who bring out cupcakes and pass them out to ringside fans. Nikki proceeds to exit, take a cupcake and go back into the ring. She exclaims that she hates cupcakes!, throws it down and steps on it. Needless to say, this was all the motivation that the twins needed on this night to get the victory over the lesser 2/3 of The Mean Girls trio.
Match #4
Metal Master defeats Raul Lamotta @ 3:28 via pinfall after a Jackhammer. The Rudo takes another loss, this time to the returning masked Metal Master as Kentucky Kingdom fans get a surprise with that. After the match, Lamotta takes to complaining again about the loss, first to the referee and then to fans. The fans start to chant "1, 2, 3" at him as he can not seem to get a break since his recent return to Ohio Valley after a couple months away.
Match #5
Rob Terry defeats The Body Guard @ 6:43 in a Stretcher match, rolling both him & The Body Guy on a stretcher past the line up the ramp of the entrance. Some revenge for Terry in this feud, particularly getting his hands on The Body Guy when he interferes. The 2 joined together to get Terry onto the stretcher, but Body Guy insisted on pushing the stretcher past the line and in some comedy, could not budge it and the stretcher in fact started slowly rolling back down the ramp, almost running him over before Body Guard got in there. Terry recovered and put the 2 of them away as he now sets his sights on August 2 at the Saturday Night Special and his match with champion and 1 time tag team partner Marcus Anthony for the Southern Title.
Match #6
Chris Silvio defeats TV champion Dylan Bostic @ 8:04 via DQ thanks to an interfering Mexicutioner. Silvio had Bostic put away after catching him with The Rocket Punch, but Bostic's bodyguard was in just in time to break up the cover before the 3 count. After Mexicutioner gave Silvio a spinebuster, he set his sights on manager Mo Green. From the back to a huge pop came Rockstar Ryan Howe for the save. He laid into Mexicutioner before sending him over the top rope and to the floor with a clothesline. Bostic escaped to the outside and grabbed his championship belt from the time keeper's table. In the ring Howe checked on Green, while Silvio got in there and shoved Howe away. The 2 had some tension stemming from their recent matches, but Green was able to convince them to shake hands, maybe realizing that their efforts are better focused against Bostic & The Mexicutioner than against each other.
After the match, a return date for Kentucky Kingdom is announced for Friday night August 15. No matches are announced but names for that night will include the Southern champion, whether Marcus Anthony or Rob Terry, as well as the 2014 Kentucky Kingdom debut of Jamin Olivencia!
The Main Event
Match #7
Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway defeat the Southern Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion in a non title match @ 9:26 when Dinsmore made Stallion tap to the Texas Cloverleaf. A successful return to form by the original Lords of The Ring tonight in their first 2 on 2 tag team match in over 10 years here in Ohio Valley. Manager Bin Hamin summons from the back Fabiano Rolento when things were looking bad for the champions, but before he could interfere, Mohammad Ali Vaez was out and made the save to keep the match clean. After Vaez fought Rolento to the back, Hamin himself tried to interfere as he had Stallion hold Conway while he went to jab him with the rolled up flagstaff. Conway broke free and instead took the Iraqi flag and snapped the flagstaff across his knee to a huge pop from the fans, before throwing it down at Hamin as he went back to the floor. Hamin was irate as Dinsmore took care of Stallion while Jonze was cut off from making the save by Conway. The Lords of The Ring make a statement with this win, leaving fans to wonder if this was a 1 time affair or if they will attempt to take this all the way and go after their Tag Team Title now that they have a non title win under their belt.
