JULY 26, 2014
ALLENTOWN, PENNSYLVANIA
The show opens with a techno remix of "O Fortuna" and out to the ring steps Steve Corino followed closely by a smiling Adam Cole to a chorus of mostly cheers from this near packed house here tonight in Allentown. Both men step into the ring and Corino is the first to take a mic and address the crowd.
Steve Corino:
"For those of you who do not know, I am 'The King of Old School' Steve Corino, the man, the myth, and the legend, and by my side here is the spiritual heir to the throne... the hottest prospect in professional wrestling today, 'The One' ADAM COLE!"
Once again we have a mixed reaction here, and Corino hands off the microphone to Cole now.
Adam Cole:
"You all are too kind, but unfortunately, more often than not, you're not given what you deserve, which is Adam Cole caliber wrestling 24/7. Seeing as how I can't be duplicated or replicated, that can't happen... despite the fact I am often imitated. But who wouldn't want to be me? At just 24 years of age, I'm a multi-time World Tag Team champion and I've got a career of accolades ahead of me. But you see, I'm not content to sit back and wait for things to come to me, the good 'King' came to me and inspired me, showing me an opportunity and at 'Summer Reign,' I capitalized on it.
"You see, Mark Jindrak is now the North American champion in this here National Wrestling Alliance..."
This gets a fair amount of boos from a crowd that was only so-so getting behind what they were hearing from the obviously arrogant Adam Cole. He's got their attention now.
Adam Cole:
"That doesn't sit well with me. It doesn't sit well with me that a guy like Chris Dickinson thinks he can make a claim to that belt and being the top contender to it based on what? It's not his looks or personality, folks, I'll tell you that much. Dickinson, if the top contender's spot was determined by who has the least amount of skill and looks the most like a neanderthal, you would get the spot in spades, but that's not reality. That's not how it is. And Jindrak, just because you beat a couple of chumps by little more than luck and some lazy officiating also doesn't make you a champion. What makes you a champion is being the best and beating the best, you are not the best and you sure as Hell haven't beat the best, cause you've never gone one-on-one with 'The One' Adam Cole!"
Steve Corino applauds this as the fans give a halfway positive reaction, leading Corino to take back the microphone.
Steve Corino:
"So tonight the campaign begins. Adam Cole is looking to get his rightful match with the so-called 'champion' Mark Jindrak, and he wants a fight. Who back there thinks they've got the plums to take on the best this business has to offer? Who back there thinks they've got what it takes?"
After "Don't Die Digging" by The Graduate hits the speakers, out to the ring walks a man we have yet to see in a Liberty Pro ring, Johnny Gargano! Gargano has a microphone in hand as he receives a mild reaction from this audience here tonight.
Johnny Gargano:
"My name is Johnny Gargano, and Adam Cole, you and I go way back.
"We've been partners, we've been friends, and we've adversaries. You know, I'm not much older than you, but a few years back, I did something you've yet to do: I won singles World championship gold and I held the World Junior Heavyweight championship. That reign wasn't all that memorable, but it still stands in the record books and I'm still a former champion.
"That being said... I don't rest on my past accomplishments either. No, instead, I too am looking to the future, and seeing as how you're throwing out challenges, I am going to accept. I am going to accept and I am going to turn this thing on its head, because it's not you who is going to come out of this match with title aspirations, Adam... it's Johnny Gargano. And while you may have a so-called 'King' by your side, I have something you don't have... I'm 'All Heart'."
Gargano pounds his fist to his chest and these fans give him a positive reaction as we cut to the next segment of the show.

"The Global Movement" by Death of an Era hits the speakers, and a man walks out who obviously wants Gulak to shut up, and his name is Raymond Rowe! Rowe doesn't have a microphone and he doesn't need one, as these fans cheer him on and stomps into the ring ready to rip Gulak limb from limb.

RAYMOND ROWE
verses
DREW GULAK
RESULTS: Raymond Rowe pinned Drew Gulak.
DETAILS: Rowe would dominate early on with just raw power, brawling, and suplexes, really impressing these fans while Gulak sold it like death. Gulak would manage to catch Rowe with a boot in the corner, followed by a chop block to get Rowe on the mat and mount some offense. Rowe would fight his way back up and rock Gulak some more with heavy blows before hitting a Running Double Knee Strike to his chest, sending Gulak flying into the buckles. From there, Rowe picked up Gulak, clinching him into a Full Nelson and then delivering his devastating "Death Rowe" finisher to lead into a pinfall victory for the Cleveland, Ohio, native. Despite what Gulak spoke about earlier, I believe tonight will be known as the first night that Raymond Rowe made his mark here in Liberty Pro Wrestling.

verses
MIA YIM & JESSICKA HAVOK
Out to the ring next would come Jay Lethal, along with his valet Veda Scott, and he seemed to be in a serious mood.NEVAEH & SERENA DEEB
verses
MIA YIM & JESSICKA HAVOK
RESULTS: Jessicka Havok pinned Nevaeh.
DETAILS: This was a quick but spirited back and forth here from these four women, marred by a botched Asai Moonsault attempt by Yim that earned her some derogatory chants from this Allentown crowd. Havok would end up winning the match for her team though, utilizing her patented "Demon Drop" on rival Nevaeh to get the three count.

Jay Lethal:
"I've been around... around long enough to watch every other man I've come up with make their name, stake their claim, and secure their spot! But what about Jay Lethal? What about my time to shine? Instead of shinin', I've been in the shadows, livin' in the dark, tryin' to survive on the scraps I've been thrown by these GRACIOUS PROMOTERS, and I'm tired of it! I'm real tired of it, jack!
"Opportunities... I'm not waitin' for 'em, I'm takin' 'em, and tonight, I've givin' one of you guys, one you up and comers, one of you a big opportunity tonight to step into the ring with one of the best to ever lace up the boots... Jay Lethal! So, come on out! Come on out!"
Veda Scott applauds her man Lethal as he throws down the mic and waves at the entry way, and out to the stage steps Andrew Everett! This young up and comer has apparently decided to take up Lethal on his challenge, and hopefully he can make the most of it.

RESULTS: Jay Lethal pinned Andrew Everett.SINGLES: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
JAY LETHAL with Veda Scott
versus
ANDREW EVERETT
DETAILS: Everett actually manages to land some solid offense early, but the match doesn't last long. Lethal is able duck a spin kick from the North Carolina native, handspringing and then delivering the destructive "Lethal Injection" to get the three count.
Lethal holds up a finger after the match, saying "that's one!" He and Veda leave satisfied and these fans seem to be pretty positive about Lethal from this display.
Out to the ring now steps Rene Dupree along with KENTA, and he looks less than pleased, no longer being accompanied his former possession, the Liberty Pro championship belt. Rene takes a microphone and looks to address the here tonight, who don't seem to high on him.
Rene Dupree:
"Yeah, yeah, everybody's happy, I don't have my belt anymore, how great!"
The fans give a big cheer for that one, and Dupree starts to smirk.
Rene Dupree:
"Don't get used to it! Tonight, KENTA and I, we have a tag team match. It won't be long, though, and I'll get my rematch with you, BJ Whitmer, and I will get back what belongs to me!"
Dupree tosses the mic and he his Japanese hired gun wait for their opponents to make their way out to the ring.

verses
AARON EPIC & SUGAR DUNKERTON
"Reach for the Sky" hits the speakers and out to the ring comes the new World Tag Team champions, Mark Briscoe and Jay Briscoe, wearing the belts around their necks as they slap the hands of the fans. They slide into the ring, and Mark grabs a microphone, saying in his enthusiastic way that "it's good to have these damn belts back!"TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
RENE DUPREE & KENTA
verses
AARON EPIC & SUGAR DUNKERTON
RESULTS: Rene Dupree submits Sugar Dunkerton.
DETAILS: Epic and Dunkerton have been teaming on the indie scene for some time now, and they were able to hold up decently early on by using tandem offense to rock their opponents. KENTA would end up kicking things into gear for his team quite literally and it wouldn't take long for Dupree to pick up the pieces and lock Dunkerton into a Cobra Clutch to get the submission.
Rene would refuse to let the move go, yelling out about getting his title back when he's interrupted by the sounds of "Lunatic Fringe" by Red Rider hit and out comes Kurt Angle! Angle has a mic in hand and he doesn't look pleased.
Kurt Angle:
"You gotta be freakin' kiddin' me, Dupree! You're gonna come out her with your little Frenchy French attitude, that dumb, smug look on your face, and claim to be the real champion! This is America, pal, and you gotta earn what you get! In fact, you don't even deserve to be in that ring, so you just be thankful you're even here!
"I mean, really, you try to cheat against BJ Whitmer, and now you're cryin' about losing that belt, taking it out some poor kid in there, you big bully! Who do you think you are!? You make me physically ill, you piece of garbage!"
Angle is just completely worked up here, all red faced and slobbering, his eyes bloodshot and full of anger.
Kurt Angle:
"I'm tired of the B.S., Dupree, and I'm tired of your little buddy here, too, so I tell you what. Next week, you got a rematch, and KENTA, you're barred from ringside! You try to come down and do one of your little kicks or any of that other crap, and I'll BREAK YOUR FREAKIN' ANKLE MYSELF!
"OH IT'S TRUE, IT'S DAMN TRUE! Now get out of my ring!"
Angle leaves to a chorus of cheers as Dupree is now left to contemplate the future. He gets a rematch with BJ Whitmer, but it is certainly not on his terms.

Jay then takes the microphone and says it's been a long time coming, but they finally got them back, but they are looking around and they don't see any real competition in this company or in this alliance. In fact, all they see is a bunch of "pussy ass rookies trying to talk a big game, but none of them could back it up!"
"Bow Down" by Kenny Pickett hits and out to the ring comes Eddie Kingston, Homicide, and B-Boy! Kingston has the microphone and sarcastically congratulates the Briscoes on their title win. Kingston goes onto say that the "Strong Style Outlawz" have entered this company with a purpose, and that's to "make chaos and reign," and the Briscoes found themselves in the line of fire at "Summer Reign" for that cause. Jay Briscoe starts to get angry and tries to say something, but Kingston cuts him off and says he doesn't care about the belts and he doesn't care about what either of the Briscoes has to say. He says tonight, he wants a fight, and he wants Jay Briscoe in that ring right now!
It doesn't take much to convince Jay of this, and these two start brawling in the middle of the ring to the roar of the crowd!

verses
EDDIE KINGSTON with Homicide and B-Boy
RESULTS: Eddie Kingston pinned Jay Briscoe.
DETAILS: These two just brawl it out. There weren't many actual wrestling moves used here, as the object was simply to inflict punishment. "The Strong Style Outlawz" would get involved numerous times, and that's pretty much what sealed the deal here, as the numbers game became too much for the Briscoes brothers. Kingston would deliver his "Backfist to the Future" to a distracted Jay Briscoe, cleaning his clock and it was all over.
"The Outlawz" leave the ring very satisfied as Mark tends to his fallen brother. This is obviously not over.

SINGLES: 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
ADAM COLE with Steve Corino
versus
JOHNNY GARGANO
RESULTS: Adam Cole submits Johnny Gargano.
DETAILS: The fans just weren't real sure what to think early on, as they don't know whether to love or hate Adam Cole and they just aren't real sure about Gargano. These two did a great job of telling a compelling story, though, and the fans eventually take to Gargano and get behind him. Cole was ruthless in this match, but he didn't technically do any real cheating. He would just relentlessly attack the knee of Gargano, and Gargano would show his grit in fighting him off and fighting through the pain, living up to his "All Heart" moniker. Cole would keep going to the well with the Figure Four Leglock, and it would finally pay off, as Gargano would just lose the strength to fight it. Gargano would be forced to tap, and these fans would applaud the efforts of both men.
Cole would show that he would do what it took to win and Corino seemed very pleased, raising his hand in the ring. Cole would offer a handshake to Gargano stating "no hard feelings man" and Gargano would begrudgingly accept, but would pull Cole in and say, "you got me this time, but it won't happen again!"
They exchange a tense smile, and Gargano hobbles off as the show comes to an end.
