Announcers : Taz, Arn Anderson and Michael Cole
Date : 07.26.14
Location : CPW Arena, City of Industry, CA
Match Notes : Christian was cheered as the match started, but then as he started bending, and finally breaking the rules, Low Ki was cheered more and more. The turning point was when the ref was trying to put the corner padding back on, Christian kicked Ki below the belt. That action set the match in his favor.
Match Notes : Paul Burchill came out and distracted his 'partner' during the match. This set up the eventual win for 'the Man Beast'. After the match, Paul took the mic and said that it was true, what Chris said at King of the Ring (he wasn't ready to wrestle), but that he WAS in the arena, just not able to get out of the room that Jericho had locked him in! Chris has orchestrated his 'absence' from the show by attacking him and locking him in basement utility closet.
Edge came out and said that through out August, CPW stars would be qualifying for a spot in the first Elimination Chamber match in CPW history for the CPW Championship. The Champion, who ever it was on the 17th of August was guaranteed to be in the match, but not guaranteed to walk out as champion at No Escape!
Match Notes : Dolph look good... Very good in this match, as did the young Graves. In all fairness, it could have gone either way, but Graves made one error too many, and Dolph capitalized with the Zig Zagg for the win
Match Notes : After Sandown cost RVD the match, he offered to shake Reigns' hand and form an 'alliance' of sorts. Roman, at first refused the offer, then Sandow slapped him. Rather than run in fear, Sandown again stuck out his hand to offer Reigns a hand shake. Reigns Speared the TV Champ instead! As Sandown somehow was able to get to his feet, Roman hit his with his Superman punch and the fans flipped out!!
Match Notes : With the beating that Sandow just took, AJ said he was not about to win the championship in such a way. He said he would put off the match until next week, to allow Sandow a fighting chance. But that should Sandow get himself into another 'situation' he would not be so accommodating to the champion.
Match Notes : This was another excellent match that Sting had his charges involved in. Both teams worked very well and showed that they were the future of Tag Team wrestling in the NWA.
Match Notes : After the match, Ted slid back in tot eh ring in an attempted top blind side his challenger, but Brock hoped onto the ring apron and the champion had second thoughts. Kyle stared at the champion has he backed out of the ring, grabbed his championship and walked to the back. The fans were booing Ted, but he didn't care. As Ted got near the entrance way, Edge came out and told Ted that he would be defending the title NEXT week against Kyle in a no count out match! Ted was beside himself as the fans cheered the announcement!
Match Notes : It was a wild brawl from the bell to start to the bell signifying that Smith had won the match.
