JULY 29, 2014
READING, PENNSYLVANIA
Jacobs gets on the microphone and states that "everyone should take notice now, because they are in the presence of the leaders of the new world!" He passes off the microphone to Rollins, who goes on to elaborate. Rollins talks about beating Austin Aries at "Summer Reign" but not being content with that. He says the range and scope of their vision isn't measured by small victories, but by revolutions, and they plan to break the walls down of every city and rip the fabric holding this weak society together, town by town, match by match, and fallen body after fallen body. He goes back to the mantras he put into place at "Summer Reign" by reiterating, "you will all learn to either fall in line with the Fallen, or fall to your demise! You are either ONE OF US... or YOU ARE AGAINST US... we are not here to rise, to be on top of the world... instead, we will drag this world down with us!"
The sounds of "Chris is Awesome!" by Viro the Virus hits the speakers and it is clear that Chris Hero has heard enough, getting a big ovation from the crowd! Following close behind him in the number one contender to the X Division championship, Matt Tremont, who looks eager for action. Hero takes a microphone and runs down the "Forever Fallen," saying that not everybody is ready to just "fall in line" and he thinks this world needs a Hero! He goes on to say that, "while you may have dreams of a 'new world,' boys, but I brought a 'Bulldozer' here to knock them down! So, what do you say? Tonight, maybe... Jacobs, Delirious, you two wanna drag the world down, how about we drag your two sorry asses into a little tag team match later on tonight? Sound good?"
Jacobs shakes his head and smirks before answering, "haven't I already choked you out once since you've been here, Hero? Or should I say 'zero,' seeing as how that's how many victories you've gotten since you arrived in this company. Tell you what, 'champ,' Delirious and I... we'll be happy to kick your asses later tonight. Gives us a chance to get a running start taking out the trash around here."
Delirious hurries in and grabs the mic, "ABADABAHRAHABDAKAHDAAAAH!!!"
Rollins and Jacobs both smile, and unison proclaim, "What he said!" and "Initiation" hits again as this segment comes to a close.

TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
"The Midnight Sons"
BRIAN CAGE & CALEB KONLEY with Christy Hemme
verses
SHANE STRICKLAND & AR FOX
RESULTS: Caleb Konley pins Strickland.
DETAILS: Cage and Konley looked more serious tonight than before, while their opponents looked to seize a big opportunity. This match was absolutely breaktaking for the time it lasted, which wasn't long. Strickland and Fox knew this was a huge opportunity, while the newly christened "Midnight Sons" looked more fierce and cohesive than ever, stunning the fans with their quickness and hard hits before Konley would eventually catch Strickland off guard with a Missile Dropkick, followed by a Cut-Throat Neckbreaker to get the pinfall!
After the match, Christy Hemme gets on the microphone and proclaims that the "Midnight Sons" are here for vengeance, here for justice! She claims that at the "Great American Bash" a great injustice was served, because the wrong team walked out with the North American Tag Team championships! The real stars of the tag team division in the NWA, "The Midnight Sons," should be the champions, and they challenge the champions to a m-
They are interrupted by the sounds of "Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson, and out to the stage steps Austin Aries, Frankie Kazarian, and a man we have yet to see in action here in Liberty Pro, Brian Kendrick! "A Double" has a mic in hand and he claims to be sorry to interrupt Hemme, but it's clear he's being sarcastic and continues.
Austin Aries:
"Now, us... we don't just show up anywhere, so you should consider yourselves lucky. You want to talk about star power? You want to talk about championships? You're looking at three of the biggest stars not only in this company, but in professional wrestling, and we have more championships between us than most of the wrestlers active today. This similarity, this elite status, this is what has brought us together. A cluster of stars like us, a "Constellation," if you will, that shines above the rest.
"But you two and your hot little number there think you deserve title shots over us. Guys like 'Forever Fallen' think they know about hardship, know about pulling themselves up by the boot straps and earning success. Seth Rollins may have beaten me at 'Summer Reign,' but he hasn't seen the last of 'The Greatest Man That Ever Lived,' I promise you that. But I'm not out here to talk about that.
"You three are throwing down a challenge? You shouldn't be looking at a couple of paper champions like Taven and Bennett to prove your status. You should look to true status symbols, and right now, your looking at three men who get your checks signed, because without us... there is no Liberty Pro. We paved the way for snot nosed punks like you to try and make your names, innovated the styles you two love to rip off, and we're tired of being overlooked and leapfrogged by inferiors such as yourselves.
"So next show, you two are being challenged. Next show, how about the 'Midnight Cowboys' or whatever the Hell you're calling yourselves take on the only team with all the star power, 'The Constellation,' Kazarian and Kendrick!"
Cage takes the microphone now.
Brian Cage:
"You three are a joke, and you two," pointing at Kazarian and Kendrick, "are ON!"
Kendrick and Kazarian have their arms out stretched, gloating as Cage and Konley yell up the ramp at them and we head to the next segment.

PORTIA PEREZ & LUFISTO
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
CHEERLEADER MELISSA & ALLYSIN KAY
verses
PORTIA PEREZ & LUFISTO
RESULTS: Cheerleader Melissa pins Portia Perez.
DETAILS: These four women are world class, but this match was about the skill and imminent title shot of one Cheerleader Melissa, who aimed to impress tonight. She pulled out all of the stops, and then put Portia Perez down with her Kudo Driver, looking like the legitimate threat she is to take the belt from AJ Lee.

She pulled out all of the stops, and then put Portia Perez down with her Kudo Driver, looking like the legitimate threat she is to take the belt from AJ Lee.
Next out to the ring is once again Drew Gulak, looking a lot less smug this weak but a lot more incensed. Gulak takes a microphone and derides Raymond Rowe for coming out last week, and says that a brute like him could never match wits with a genius like Drew Gulak, or match his skill on the mat, and says he'll prove it again if he has to!
Gulak doesn't get Raymond Rowe out to the ring this time, however, as "The Diplomat" by Pig Destroyer hits the speakers and out comes "The Original Death Machine" himself, Chris Dickinson! Gulak doesn't look intimidated in the least, while Dickinson gets on the mic and makes some statements that probably should shake him up a bit.
Chris Dickinson:
"Gulak! You want to clean things up? Well I'm about as filthy as it gets, and I'm pissed off! Mark Jindrak, Adam Cole, Harry Smith... I don't care who it is! I'm going to get that North American title, one way or another, and I'm going to destroy any motherfucker dumb enough to try and stop me, starting with this one!"
Dickinson stomps down to the ring and we have our next match!
MATCH THREE
SINGLES: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
CHRIS DICKINSON
verses
DREW GULAK
SINGLES: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
CHRIS DICKINSON
verses
DREW GULAK
RESULTS: Drew Gulak pins Chris Dickinson.
DETAILS: Gulak once again shows some sound skill here and manages to get Dickinson to mat after eating an early barrage of power moves and strikes. Dickinson manages to fight back, yelling profanity at Gulak and yelling crazed remarks about Mark Jindrak and Adam Cole before delivering a huge Running Awesome Bomb to Gulak that nearly takes him out for the three. Dickinson looks to hit his "Braineater" from here, but initially inexplicably out to the ring ran the current Liberty Pro Tag Team champions, Roderick Strong and Biff Busick to the ring apron! Dickinson lets go of Gulak, obviously confused but ready to confront the two when Gulak takes advantage, rolling up Dickinson with a handful of tights, driving his feet as he does and he gets the three! Everyone is shocked!
After the bell sounds, Strong and Busick hit the ring and stomp Dickinson, before Strong grabs a microphone as Gulak and Busick hold him down.
Roderick Strong:
"Dickinson, I don't know who you think you are, but I'll tell you who I AM... I'm RODERICK STRONG, "The Backbreaking Backbone" of this company! And we-" pointing at himself and his two compatriots, "are 'The Vanguard', the front lines in a war against your kind! You who have turned this business into a joke! And it's not just you, Dickinson, who's turned this business into a cesspool. Guys like 'Forever Fallen', guys like the 'Midnight Sons', the Briscoes, the 'Strong Style Outlawz', these delusional fools 'The Constellation'... they are all the problem. But WE... WE are the solution, and WE are not alone!"
"O Fortuna (Techno Remix)" hits, and who else but Steve Corino and Adam Cole make their way out to the ring wearing suits and smiles! Corino and Cole enter the ring and Corino takes a microphone.
Steve Corino:
"That's right, people! The 'King' has assembled his soliders and 'The Vanguard' has been born! The protectors of this sacred realm, the saviors of the square circle, and look at the talents here! 'The Stretcher' Drew Gulak, 'The Manliest Man' Biff Busick, 'The Backbreaking Messiah' Roderick Strong, and 'The One' ADAM COLE! The greatest group ever assmebled not to include names like Flair, Anderson, and Blanchard, and while they reigned supreme, we're here to take the kingdom back! Back from those who think they can bring it down, back from the degenerates, back from the false Gods and back from those who look to destroy its credibility! And to all of you I say... YOU'RE WELCOME!"
Corino stands gloating as Dickinson seethes, still being held down by Busick and Gulak. He tries to break free, but cannot. Corino looks at him, then looks at Cole, giving him a thumbs down and looking away annoyed. Cole delivers a powerful Superkick to Dickinson as he's held on his knees, as he may well be knocked out.
But wait, "The Global Movement" by Death of an Era hits and out storms RAYMOND ROWE! Rowe slides in and knocks down Busick with a Lariat, followed by a front kick to the face of Gulak, sending both men out of the ring. Rowe ducks a shot from Strong from there and sends him over with a HUGE T-Bone Suplex! Corino has fled the ring, saving his own ass as Adam Cole tries jumping him from behind, landing a few shots but Rowe grabs him, kneeing him repeatedly like a wild animal before clinching him in and looking to deliver "Death Rowe," but Cole breaks free and scampers away, sliding under the ropes and hurrying up the ramp, not wanting any part of that.
Rowe stands alone as Dickinson tries to pull himself up with ropes, the rest of the group having been scared off for the moment by a one man wrecking machine. Dickinson stands up, and he and Rowe stand eye to eye, then both men look down the ramp at 'The Vanguard,' signalling that this is probably far from over.
MATCH FOUR
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
"Forever Fallen"
DELIRIOUS & JIMMY JACOBS with Seleziya Sparx
verses
CHRIS HERO & MATT TREMONT
TAG TEAM: 10 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
"Forever Fallen"
DELIRIOUS & JIMMY JACOBS with Seleziya Sparx
verses
CHRIS HERO & MATT TREMONT
RESULTS: Chris Hero pins Jimmy Jacobs.
DETAILS: This was a very wild match for these Reading fans, and they seemed to love it. Tremont showed a good amount of skill when it came to brawling, and he and Delirious did a lot of that around the ringside area. In a classic miscue, Seleziya would get on the apron trying to distract Hero and give her man, Jacobs, the advantage, only to have Hero side stepped and attempted sneak attack, leading Jacobs to Spear her off the apron! Jacobs was shocked by this and would get caught with a Rolling Elbow to the back of his head for his distraction, leading Hero to get the three count victory for his team and his first pinfall since entering Liberty Pro!
His celebration time wouldn't last long, however, as into the ring from practically out of nowhere came Seth Rollins, who would springboard in with a knee strike! Rollins would pick up and Jacobs and pull him from the ring, grabbing a mic as he does while Tremont slides in to pick Hero from the mat and try to protect him from any further damage. Rollins has something to say.
Seth Rollins:
"The egos are running wild around here, ladies and gentlemen! With Hero here, and now Aries popping back up, and even Steve Corino's little group running around, it seems we're going to have a fight on our hands for supremacy in this here Liberty Pro Wrestling! Well, that's fine! You want another shot at me Aries, you're on! Anybody who wants to try and beat the greatest team ever assembled, the 'Forever Fallen,' only need ask, but we don't do matches... we don't do one off battles... we do wars, and in war, it's not over till it's over! Hero, in case you didn't get that message... IT AIN'T OVER!"
"Forever Fallen" make their way back up the ramp and we head to the next segment.

MATCH FIVE
SINGLES: 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
RODERICK STRONG with Biff Busick and Drew Gulak
verses
KYLE O'REILLY
SINGLES: 15 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
RODERICK STRONG with Biff Busick and Drew Gulak
verses
KYLE O'REILLY
RESULTS: Kyle O'Reilly submits Roderick Strong.
DETAILS: O'Reilly was just trying to make an honest debut here, but he has found himself entering a Liberty Pro that is in the midst of turmoil, and it is all about power plays. Busick and Gulak of the newly formed "Vanguard" would be watching their team mates back, as the current Tag Team champion had a heck of a mat war with the Canadian superstar. O'Reilly looked like he might have the match won after reversing "Death by Roderick" and locking on an Armbar, leading Biff Busick, Strong's championship partner, to grab the referee by the foot and drag him out, knocking him out of the equation!
Gulak would hit the ring and knee drop O'Reilly, breaking the hold, and then laying into him with the boots. Busick would deliver a Blockbuster to O'Reilly, getting major boos from the crowd when Chris Dickinson and Raymond Rowe made their way out to huge cheers, clearing Busick and Gulak from the ring! Another man would jump from the crowd, and this man was part of the team that lost to Strong & Busick at "Summer Reign" in Bobby Fish! Fish would size up Strong, and he would deliver a big Jumping Spin Kick to his head, knocking him clean out!
Fish would leave the ring, shoving the referee back in as O'Reilly regain his bearings. O'Reilly would smell blood in the water, obviously upset about the earlier attack, and he grabbed Strong by the ankle and clamped on with a vicious Ankle Lock, yelling out as he twisted the appendage! Roderick would try to make it to the ropes, but O'Reilly would pull him back and clamp on with a leg scissors, and Strong had no choice but to tap out!
Huge win for O'Reilly here in his debut, not without a few asterisks, but a win is a win!
O'Reilly jumps from the ring, and Bobby Fish is still standing there. O'Reilly examines Fish and they exchange a few words, then Fish smiles and extends a hand. After a few more words, O'Reilly returns the smile and receives the handshake, and it looks like we might have yet another blossoming partnership here in Liberty Pro!
MATCH SIX
SINGLES: 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
BJ WHITMER (c)
verses
RENE DUPREE
SINGLES: 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT
BJ WHITMER (c)
verses
RENE DUPREE
RESULTS: BJ Whitmer submits Rene Dupree to retain his championship.
DETAILS: Dupree was not allowed to have his bodyguard KENTA by his side for this title rematch and he looked a bit nervous about the whole thing, these fans very vocally against him tonight. This match would see Dupree try to use every dirty trick he could to get over on the very intense "Buzzsaw" here, and he very nearly did overcome him on a couple of occasions. Dupree would end up sensing his demise and would pull the referee in the way of an on coming Running Single Leg Kick, knocking the referee out! Dupree would manage to catch Whitmer with a big knee strike from there and headed to the outside, where he grabbed the championship belt! Dupree would stalk Whitmer as the fans booed, but just as he would run at Whitmer, into the ring slid KURT ANGLE!
Dupree would stop dead in his tracks and Angle would back him down, yelling like a wild man in his face! Angle would then side step and Whitmer would catch Dupree with a big Lariat! Angle would pull up the ref as Whitmer picked up Dupree, planting him with a Reverse STO, and then locking him into a Peruvian Neck-tie! Dupree would start tapping instantly, and the fans would cheer as Angle held up Whitmer's hand in the center of the ring, repeatedly yelling, "WHOO! WHOO! WHOO!" like an over enthusiastic choo-choo train as the show came to a close and Dupree sauntered off in defeat.
