Released to DVD-R through website and at merchandise table
Southern Heavyweight champion: Marcus Anthony
Southern Tag Team champions: Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion
TV champion: Dylan Bostic
Women's champion: Heidi Lovelace
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. With what may be the biggest Saturday Night Special top to bottom yet, Davis Arena is packed tonight for 9 big matches. The Southern Title is at stake when champion Marcus Anthony defends against challenger and 1 time tag team partner Rob Terry, perhaps the biggest challenge Anthony has had to date, certainly from a physical standpoint. Jamin Olivencia battles Rudy Switchblade, and while both of these men are fan favorites, their egos are certainly getting in the way here and quietly building a rivalry between them that may leave the loser tonight with a little more than just an L to his record. And then in what may be the biggest Southern Tag Team Title match in years, champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion will defend against The Lords of The Ring, Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway, and not only that but to combat Bin Hamin in the champions' corner, The Lords have a surprise from the past in their own corner. Without further ado, let's go to the ring for the start of tonight's action ...
Match #1
Metal Master, Eddie Diamond, Bud Dwight, Aaron Sky & Robbie Walker defeat The Body Guy, Raul Lamotta, Nick Dumeyer, Elvis Pridemoore & Deonta Davis @ 5:38 when Master pinned Lamotta after a Jackhammer. A big unadvertised 10 man tag team match opens the show with The Body Guard conspicuous by his absence, which Dean speculates is coming from his loss to Rob Terry on TV. The finishing sequence is straight out of a WWE 10 man with finisher after finisher coming in sequence until Lamotta has Walker covered for a pinfall, maybe about to break his winless streak. The referee however taps him to let him know Walker is not legal. Who is then? The masked Metal Master is and he hits the Jackhammer on the Rudo AGAIN to put him away as Lamotta just cannot seem to solve the mystery behind the mask with what is now a fourth loss to him, remaining winless since his return from injury over a month ago now. As is now the norm, fans start chanting "1, 2, 3" at Lamotta to get under his skin while Dean says that 1 of these days, he is gonna crack from all this!

Match #2
Paredyse defeats The Altar Boy @ 2:16 via pinfall after hitting The Swan Song, a flipping neckbreaker. Originally scheduled as a rubber match with The Pastor of Disaster, Reverend Stuart Miles, instead Davis Arena fans were treated to an injury from Miles complete with his arm in a sling. His ever changing nameless Altar Boy, usually just a cornering role by a school trainee (in this case a PPA by Jade Dawson), would step in and take the match in his place with embarrassing results. After the match, Miles took to the mic and said that maybe he was wrong about Paredyse. Maybe all of this was a sign from the big man upstairs himself that it was time for Miles to forgive and forget. He extended his right hand as fans chanted "no, no" telling Paredyse not to do it, with Dean echoing those sentiments over commentary. Paredyse considered it, but shook his head instead to a pop, wanting nothing to do with Miles to leave egg on his face. Or so it would seem. As Paredyse turned around, Miles pulled off the sling and wrapped it around Paredyse's neck to choke him from behind. Miles would release and wait for Paredyse to get to his knees, yelling at him to say a prayer for forgiveness from the position. Instead Miles charged and caught Paredyse on the back of the head with the back of his boot, slamming him face first into the mat with a Seth Rollins style curb stomp. With Paredyse downed and not moving, Miles grabbed the mic and told him that the only signal he has from his boss, the big man upstairs, is not to stop until Paredyse publicly renounces his sins before everybody here. Miles will not stop as his attempted "cleansing" of the territory remains in full swing.

Match #3
Dylan Bostic & The Mexicutioner defeat Chris Silvio & Ryan Howe @ 7:20 when Bostic pinned Howe after Silvio accidentally hit the Rocket Punch on his own partner. Howe was battling Bostic with The Mexicutioner prone for The Psychedelic Superstar's finisher, only to have the big man move and Silvio accidentally blast his own man. Bostic quickly took advantage and covered for the 3 as Mexicutioner grabbed Silvio and threw him out to the floor. A big win for that tag team as the TV champion may have just eliminated the 2 biggest contenders for his title. Meanwhile back in the ring, Silvio is blaming Howe for the loss! Dean feels that if anything, Howe should be the 1 that is upset right now. Silvio's manager Mo Green is trying to mend fences but Silvio just repeatedly blames Howe and will not let it go before an angry Howe lets loose himself to a big pop from the fans. Facing the threat of Howe's anger, Silvio backs down and extends a hand. Howe cools off and shakes it, but the commentators feel that maybe all is not well between those 2.

Match #4
Mohammad Ali Vaez defeats Fabiano Rolento @ 5:49 via pinfall after hitting a running neckbreaker. No Bin Hamin at ringside for this match which left the 2 former tag team partners to battle it out amongst themselves. Despite swinging a big pipe for lack of better term in taking out Michael Hayes a couple months back, Rolento does not amount to much in the ring by way of skills here. He gets in enough offense, but Vaez is able to make a comeback and put him away for the victory and some revenge in the names of Hayes. Dean also hopes that maybe this takes Rolento out of the equation for later and we can get a fair Tag Team Title match, to which Titus answers back that Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion need nobody's help and he is more concerned about Vaez sticking his nose in, or whoever The Lords of The Ring brought to watch their back. We will find out later on.
Bikini Beach Battle Royal
Match #5
Round #4 of the 2014 Miss OVW competition is the first traditional wrestling match of the lot, although traditional with a twist. The match is not just a battle royal, but a bikini beach battle royal, which gets Titus excited in his best Jerry Lawler attitude era impersonation. As has been the case so far, 9 women will compete tonight with Women's champion Heidi Lovelace, Taeler Hendrix, Jessie Belle, Hannah Blossom, Holly Blossom, Nikki St. John, Scarlett Bordeaux, Solo Darling, and Ray Lynn. Eliminations are through the ropes and to the floor with the top rope rule waved. The women come out single file in robes before removing them to reveal their bikini bodies, except Taeler who refuses! She says that none of these fans deserve to see her body, which is in her own opinion the best body of them all by far. That just puts a target on her as Heidi attacks her for the bell to start the match, rips off the robe to a pop and throws her out through the ropes and to the floor for a surprising first elimination only seconds in. Nikki goes over to check on Taeler at the ropes, but ends up getting thrown out by The Blossoms over the top rope. Nikki is trying to calm an angered Taeler on the floor who demands that Scarlett come there and help her. She finally reluctantly exits the ring to eliminate herself and picks up Taeler's robe as the fans boo, while Taeler tells them all to shut up because just like Scarlett, all the men here would do exactly what she says whenever she says it.
Quickly summarizing the rest - Solo Darling is thrown out by Hannah Blossom, who is then eliminated by her own twin sister Holly Blossom from behind to take advantage of the situation. Hannah is rightly shocked as Holly tries explaining herself, only to get eliminated by Ray Lynn. Outside on the floor, The Blossoms tease dissension, but hug to a pop from the fans. Back inside Ray Lynn is busy twerking as usual, but this just puts a bullseye on her as the other 2 remaining grab her and throw her out to the floor. The match is down to Heidi Lovelace and Jessie Belle with Heidi ending up charging, but Jessie ducking to send the champion out to the floor. Jessie Belle wins the bikini beach battle royal @ 5:41. Afterward Heidi takes the Women's Title and enters the ring where she raises the hand of Jessie in a show of good sportsmanship, or rather sportswomanship as Dean jokingly clarifies for Gilbert.

Match #6
Jay Bradley defeats Cliff Compton @ 8:34 via pinfall with a schoolboy and a handful of tights for added leverage. Bradley started off with a lot of stalling to the action, but Compton got sick of it and took it to him early. While they would go back and forth, Compton was able to hit him with a springboard tornado DDT. Bradley's second Mongo would get on the apron to distract Compton and get him to leave the cover. Compton grabbed Mongo and hit him with a big right hand to a pop, but this left him open to the rollup by Bradley that would win him the match. Mongo entered with the water bottle and towel as Bradley took to his knees like he were Rocky Balboa having just won the World Title. Compton was rightfully upset and tried to go after Bradley, but Mongo made the save. Big mistake there as Bradley would hightail it on his corner man and leave him to get hit with the Media Blitz, a sitout scoop slam piledriver. Compton loses the match but does not leave without some revenge here with the corner man left laying on the mat to a pop from the fans.
Before the next match, the announcement gets made that on Saturday night, October 11, Ohio Valley will make its live streaming debut on the internet with a first ever iPPV offering. Generally the only way to see special events is live in the Davis Arena or via DVD, but this event will be broadcast live across the world through the company's website and a deal with WWN Live. And as a teaser for fans, the event will be titled Rage In The Cage. The Southern championship will be contested inside of a Steel Cage, although that is still more than 2 months away. The Southern champion still has a whole lot in between to deal with in order to get there, including next month's Saturday Night Special on September 6, but starting with tonight and starting right now ...

Match #7
Southern champion Marcus Anthony and Rob Terry battled each other to a double countout @ 7:08, allowing Anthony to retain the title. The battle of the behemoths sees a lot of feeling each other out with shoulder blocks that are of the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object nature. Finally the action gets going and heads towards Terry being in control when he hits the Thrust Spinebuster on Anthony to a big pop, but the cover sees the champion too close to the ropes, after which Anthony rolls out to the floor. Outside of the ring, Anthony reverses Terry into the ringpost and then at the instance of manager Timmy Danger charges with a Gamma Punch, only for Terry to move and the champion smashes a fist into the metal. Anthony grabs his hand as Terry recovers and slides in, but a second too late. The match ends in a double countout, but the bigger story here could be the hand of Anthony. Terry refuses that decision and wants to keep going, but the end of the match is what it is. He will surely get himself another title shot, but Danger seems concerned for his man on the outside with a possible injury. Dean clarifies that Danger is more concerned about his wallet than anything to do with Anthony, while Titus states that Danger is the most compassionate man he knows and he once helped an entire senior center across the street, nevermind 1 old lady. Dean says yeah, and then he probably turned around and tried to sell the home for pennies on the dollar. At any rate, no decisive finish between these 2 tonight but Anthony remains champion for now, but a big question mark stemming from that missed Gamma Punch into the outside ring post.

Match #8
Jamin Olivencia defeats Rudy Switchblade @ 14:27 via pinfall reversing into a backslide. The action was fast paced here with both wrestlers playing "can you top this" early on. There was a lot of mutual respect for each other throughout the match, before a spot that sees Jamin go into the bodyscissors to hit the O Drop, but in the process get pushed off into referee Jordan Barker. As Jamin checked on the ref, Rudy managed to get at him from behind and put him into the Boston Crab. Jamin fought to tap, although with no referee, does it even matter? Finally Rudy releases the hold and goes over to check on Barker himself before referee Josh Ashcraft is out, sticking out like a sore thumb for some of his handy work in recent months, having recently returned from suspension for questionable calls. The match continued with several near falls before a finishing sequence that sees Jamin again go for the O Drop, but Rudy instead scoop out his legs. He cradles them and jumps across into a cover, but Jamin pushes up into a bridge before turning Rudy into the backslide that would put him away. Rudy was adamant that he kicked out before the 3 count and tried to push the agenda that Ashcraft did another bad job tonight. Dean thinks Ashcraft to his credit made the right call for once, which Gilbert agrees with, all the while Titus has suddenly done a 180 on him and calls him a crooked referee that just called the match wrong like he always does. Rudy tries to convince Jamin of it, leading to him even questioning Ashcraft on his own win, but Dean thinks it is just excuses by Rudy and not wanting to say you beat me clean in the ring by using Ashcraft's questionable past to his advantage. Gilbert agrees and finds it unfortunate that there is now a shadow cast on the outcome here to take away the spotlight from what is in fact a clean win by Olivencia in his opinion, but to play devil's advocate, maybe Switchblade genuinely thinks that was a 2 and maybe once they get a chance to play it back they will think it was a 2 as well. Titus says he does not need playback unlike them, it was a 2 count.
Southern Tag Team Championship Match

Before the next match begins, after all the participants are introduced, The Lords of The Ring bring out their surprise corner man for the night. Big surprise and big pop as Doug Basham is out to stand in their corner, the man who called them and volunteered to stand opposite Bin Hamin and make sure he pulls no funny business out here tonight. Dean reminds fans that every bit that Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway are credited as laying the foundation here, Basham was there every step of the way before leaving the area in 2005 to try and bring his talents to a national stage. Also as a reminder, Basham is the nephew of Ohio Valley match maker and president Danny Davis. Always good to see him back in the area, even if just for 1 night.
Match #9
Southern Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion defeat Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway to retain the title @ 10:31 when Jonze put out Dinsmore with the Mandible Claw. While the previous match carried with it some controversy put forward by a participant in an actual clean finish, this match was anything but clean with a highly controversial finish that nobody would dispute. During the match as it seemed that The Lords of The Ring were on the verge of a win over The Marauders and taking back the Tag Team Title for America, Bin Hamin got on the apron with the Iraqi flag to try and interfere. Corner man Doug Basham would slide into the ring and grab the flag away to a big pop from the crowd. As Dinsmore applauded the effort and went back to work on Jonze, the referee focused on getting Hamin back to the floor, at which point Basham from behind would turn Dinsmore into a jab with the flagstaff to the gut and deliver the super spinning single arm DDT known as the X-Tornado. The commentators are left speechless except Titus who says he knew it, trying to get his own intelligence over as superior to everybody else even though he had given no hint he had any idea before hand. Basham slid out as the referee turned with Hamin getting down. Conway was outside taking care of The Stallion, turning his attention to Basham, asking him what the hell he's doing. Basham says nothing and just blows him off, leading Conway to grab him, but get hit from behind by a now recovered Stallion before he can continue with Basham. Dinsmore meanwhile is out in the ring as Jonze puts him in his finisher to which referee Chris Sharpe has to call for the bell since he cannot continue. The champions win and will retain as Dean is in shock at what Basham has done here, helping these scum sucking vultures like that, and why? We have no idea. Basham leaves to the back, not celebrating with them to indicate this may have been entirely of his own doing. Titus says that The Lords of The Ring were just defeated by the better team while Dean gets seemingly legit pissed and tells Titus to just shut it! Bin Hamin is a human piece of garbage and why did Basham do this, stabbing OVW in the back, his friends, heck even his uncle Danny Davis! Deplorable. The Marauders will retain, but the big story here tonight will be "Why Doug? Why?".
