Rashad Cameron & Kenny King vs. Tyson Dux & Petey Williams
Two new teams hit the scene here, as the so-called "Canadian Cyborgs" took on the "Ring Royalty", a.k.a. "The King of Philly" a.k.a. "BLK JEEZ" Rashad Cameron and "The King of the Night" Kenny King. While King and Cameron showed some potential here as a team, it was clear they needed to polish their act, while Dux and Williams seemed much more prepared and much more cohesive. They would utilize an absolutely devastating finisher tonight, with Dux picking up King into an Electric Chair position, allowing Williams to fly off the ropes and catch him with an elevated Canadian Destroyer that would end the match and get a huge pop from the crowd!
Raymond Rowe vs. Chuck Taylor
"The Kentucky Gentleman" would make his debut tonight against the "War Machine" Raymond Rowe, and while he was able to work the leg early to try and cut off the "Death Rowe" finisher, Rowe would show his impressive strength and suplex skills, ending the match with that very move to send a message about his toughness.
Allysin Kay & Jessicka Havok vs. Nevaeh & Candace LaRae
Very rough and physical match here would end with the new comer LaRae hitting a very high impact Stunner on Kay to keep her shoulders down for a three, but just barely.
Chris Hero vs. Roderick Strong
The crowd was all about this contest, as two of the hardest hitters in Liberty Pro took the ring. Strong would pull a lot of heel moves here, thumbing the eye of Hero, raking his back, and choking him on the ropes to set the crowd straight on who the get behind and who to tear into. Regardless, there was a good deal of respect from the audience by the end as these two exchanged elbows and kicks to the face, trying to land a knock out blow. Hero would manage to catch Strong with a knee to the face as he lifted him for the Strong Breaker, twisting him and then delivering One Behind the Ear to score the finishing blow and get the three count in impressive fashion!
Austin Aries, Frankie Kazarian, Brian Kendrick w/ Jimmy Rave vs. Seth Rollins, Jimmy Jacobs, Delirious w/ Seleziya Sparx
"The Constellation" would unite here to take on "Forever Fallen" in an entertaining and wild contest with a lot of star power and talent packed in. Seleziya would pull the referee out of this match as he attempted to count a three after an Aries' Brainbuster to Delirious, leading to some real chaos. In the mix of things "The Midnight Sons" of Brian Cage and Caleb Konley would make their way into the ring and attack Kazarian and Kendrick, taking them out of the match. Aries would be left alone and Rollins would manage to deliver an F-5, followed by a Senton Backsplash from Jacobs, which allowed Rollins to get the pinfall victory.
After the match, Chris Hero would come out to the stage. Hero would say that he just beat the best of "The Vanguard" in Roderick Strong, but at the next super show, "Never Ending War", he wants Seth Rollins one-on-one! Rollins takes a microphone as the fans chant for Hero. Rollins states that he would like nothing better than to wipe Hero from existence and take down another ego maniac in the quest of "Forever Fallen"! I guess that makes it official then.
Chris Dickinson vs. Adam Cole w/ Steve Corino
"The Original Death Machine" would take on "The One" here in a match between two guys who are looking to one day get a shot at the North American champion, Mark Jindrak. Dickinson is a guy who can do so many things and do them well, whether it be striking, mat wrestling, or throwing suplexes, and Cole had to be wary of all of that. Cole would decide to work over the surgically repaired left knee of Dickinson, trying to take out one of his chief power bases and also soften him up for his deadly Figure Four. Dickinson would fight back with chops and headbutts with a vengeance, sending "The One" reeling as Corino got on the mat and argued that he was using illegal tactics. Dickinson would turn his attention to Corino and get chop blocked by Cole, furthering the damage here. Cole would lock on a Figure Four and Corino would grab his hands as the ref looked away to check Dickinson's shoulders, infuriating everyone in a very "King of Old School" kind of way. Dickinson would manage to catch Cole with a boot as he charged into the corner and sent him into the buckles with a Northern Lights Suplex to change the tides. From there, Dickinson would look for his Braineater, but Cole would roll through it with a counter, utilizing a School Boy on Dickinso into a Prawn Hold in which he drove his feet and held the tights for the three count! Cole steals one here!
Corino would make motions towards the back and out ran the rest of "The Vanguard"! Roderick Strong, Drew Gulak, and Biff Busick would hit the ring and beat down Dickinson, and they looked ready to fight! Out from the back ran Raymond Rowe, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly! Everyone involved would stand toe-to-toe battling until Corino made another motion and grabbed the mic, "Now! Now!" An Ambush! Into the ring came KENTA! KENTA would attack Fish from behind with a Buisaiku Knee Kick, he then would get involved in the scrambled with more striking towards O'Reilly and then Rowe until out to the ring ran BJ Whitmer! Whitmer would catch KENTA with a Running Single Leg Kick, sending him to the outside and these fans are cheering!
"Lunatic Fringe" hits the speakers and out comes Kurt Angle!
"Hey! Hey! I'm the FREAKIN' BOSS HERE, I MAKE THE MATCHES, SO COOL IT! ALL OF YOU! CUT THE B.S.!"
"The Vanguard" would retreat on the outside, while Dickinson, Rowe, Fish, O'Reilly, and Whitmer would hold their ground on the inside, looking outside suspiciously.
"YOU ALL WANT A FIGHT? YOU WANT TO PROVE YOU'RE BIG MEN, HUH!? YOU WEARIN' YOUR BIG MAN PANTS TONIGHT!? HOW'S ABOUT A SIX MAN MATCH THEN! KENTA, YOU LITTLE BASTARD, YOU, GULAK, AND BUSICK ARE TAKIN' ON WHITMER, O'REILLY, AND FISH!"
The fans give a big ovation for this as Angle catches his breath, beat in the face from yelling.
"And you... the rest of you... GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"
Corino tries to send the rest of them off and talk game plan with the match participants.
"AH, AH, AH... I MEAN YOU TOO, BUSTER!"
Corino points at himself, protesting the call.
"YEAH, YOU! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE, CORINO!"
Corino drags his feet, yelling obscenities as he retreats with the rest of merry men. Referee Paul Blart, Jr. makes his way from the back and hits the ring, pointing at the logo on his ref's shirt to make sure everyone knows he's the law, and this match gets underway!
BJ Whitmer, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly vs. KENTA, Drew Gulak, Biff Busick
Fish looked to start things off against KENTA, but Whitmer tags himself in and the Liberty Pro champion is ready to mix it up with his next challenger right now! This would set the pace of this contest, as Whitmer and KENTA exchanged fierce shots and takedowns, neither man looking to budge an inch or pull even the slightest from their punches. These six men gave it their all, and O'Reilly and Fish really looked like a team here, taking it to one half of the current Tag Team champions in Busick and actually ending the match with a Shoot Kick/Brainbuster combo they call Chasing the Dragon to get the three count!
Officials and familiar faced agents would pour out from the back to break things up after this, as things threatened to break down again with the incessant brawling between Whitmer and KENTA. Corino would make his way back out to the stage with a mic and called his "Vanguard" in for retreat as the show came to an end. "The Vanguard" would look to live to fight another day, it would seem.
