Arena Puebla
1. Molotov, Paris & Star Jr. defeat Rey Apocalipsis, Siki Ozama Jr. & Toro Bill Jr.
This match was extremely one sided as the tecnicos took the straight falls. It seemed like a showcase for the tecnicos, especially Star Jr., who looked head and shoulder above everyone else in the match.
2. Espíritu Maligno defeats Eléctrico
The first two falls were very good and featured a great back and forth match that created a lot of excitement for the final and deciding fall. Maligno would eventually find himself in trouble and faked a foul to draw the disqualification. Eléctrico pled his case to the referee before Maligno challenged him to a match for the Mexican National Lightweight Championship. Eléctrico wasted no time accepting and the match was signed for next week.
3. Black Panther, Blue Panther & Cachorro defeat Cancerbero, Raziel & Virus
A good match that worked well with the veteran rudos having good sequences with Blue Panther’s sons. Cachorro would win the first fall with a Quebrada Lagunera on Raziel. Cancerbero evened the match with a spinebuster on Black Panther. Blue Panther would finish the match by using El Nudo Lagunero on Raziel.
4. Máximo, Valiente & Volador Jr. defeat Pólvora, Rey Escorpión & Shocker
Máximo returns from injury to help the tecnicos win the second and third falls. Escorpión takes a long first fall with La Quebrada on Máximo. A short second fall evened the match as Volador Jr. dropped Pólvora with the Volador Spiral. The third fall was dominated by dives from both teams and a great sequence between Volador Jr. and Escorpión which would eventually end with the Ataque Depredador from Volador Jr.
5. Último Guerrero defeats La Sombra
This was by far the best match of the night and the crowd was clearly anticipating such. Sombra got off to the fast start, nearly running circles around Guerrero before catching him with a forward fireman’s carry slam. After a split-legged corkscrew senton, Sombra took the first fall to the delight of the crowd. Guerrero quickly got back in the match by attacking the back of Sombra and ripping at his mask for several minutes. The referee warned Guerrero several times that if he continued to pull at Sombra’s mask he would be disqualified. Guerrero argued with the referee and Sombra was able to turn the tide of the match. Sombra used his quickness once more to gain the advantage and eventually hit a springboard dragonrana. The referee slapped the mat twice and then called for the bell, sending the fans into a frenzy as they believed Sombra had defeated Guerrero in straight falls. Sombra climbed the turnbuckle to celebrate and then quickly realized something was wrong by the reaction of the crowd, turning to see Guerrero adjusting his mask and having his raised as the winner of the fall. Sombra questioned the referee and was told he had been disqualified for removing the mask of Guerrero. The crowd reacted insanely as Guerrero sold the mask pulling. Sombra looked dejectedly at the crowd giving Guerrero the opportunity to attack and start the third fall. The last fall would feature several dives from each competitor and great brawling at ringside that engaged the fans thoroughly. Guerrero would eventually catch Sombra with the Planchita de Ángel and followed up with the Guerrero Special II. The crowd willed Sombra to fight for the ropes but he tapped out to give the match to Guerrero.
