CS:" Welcome everybody to Fighting Spirit, I'm your host Chris Shore. We have a good show you today. Today is Matt Hardy Day in Mid Atlantic .Later on today he will receive a gift from the city of Cameron, North Carolina. Our main event will be Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann Vs Rhett Titus & Joey Ryan W/ The Bad Guy Cody Hall. We have a big announcement from matchmaker Dusty Rhodes office. Let's get to the ring for our first match.

Match #1

Southern Death( Country Jakked ( Adam Page & Corey Hollis) & The Southern Savior John Skylar) W/ The Southern Sweetheart Chasity Taylor Vs Drew Myers & Jason Jordan & Ricky Morton

This Match went to hell as soon as the bell rang. All six men battled all over the arena. Leaving Skylar and Morton in the ring. It looked like the Nwa Legend would shut the savior up. Morton hit a flying forearm on Skylar. He about to climb the rope, when Taylor jumps on the apron. Ricky goes to gab Taylor, but she slaps him. He looks like he going to hit her, when John knees him in the back. Skylar then hits The State of Grace DDT on Morton for the win. All the while on the outside Country Jakked beat the hell out of Myers and Jordan.

Chris Shore reads a statement from matchmaker Dusty Rhodes. He says that on 8/29 we will have our first live stream on HighSpots.com. On that night called Crowned we will see the finals of U.S. Title Tournament . When Cedric Alexander will face Rhett Titus. The North American Tag Champions The Pistols will face The Midnight Sons on the teams they faced at The Bash. Also we will have a Four team one night tournament to crown the U.S. Tournament Country Jakked Vs Rich Swann & Ricky Morton in one match. The other will be York & Matthews Vs Speed Kills( Trevor Lee & Jaxson James).

The Bad Guy Cody Hall Vs Brandon Sexston

This was a total squash. Hall did leave his feet. He throws Sexston all over the ring. He hits fall away slam. He then picks up Sexston for the Razors Edge for the win.

Match#3 Main Event

Cedric Alexander & Rich Swann Vs The King of Sleaze Joey Ryan & Rhett Titus W/ The Bad Guy Cody Hall

This was a good match. Titus would not get in the ring with Alexander. Everytime Cedric got in the ring, Titus tagged out. Swann & Alexander worked well together. Swann hits Rhett with a drop kick, Rhett leaves the ring. He leaves Ryan to Alexander & Swann. Alexander hits a Lumbar Check on Ryan for the win.

RT:" I will not wrestle Alexander until the 8/29. Why would I show Cedric what I can do . On the 29th Cedric you will see what I can do."

Chris Shore is standing in the ring with Mid Atlantic shareholder Stan Lane who has trophy .

CS:" We are here with Mid Atlantic Shareholder Sweet Stan Lane to give a award to one on North Carolina favorite sons Matt Hardy. At this time I would like to welcome home to Cameron Matt Hardy!!!!

Matt Hardy comes to the ring with his wife Reby Sky. The crowd going nuts when Matt Hardy comes down.

CS:" Welcome home Matt, we are here to give you the first ever Cameron Hall Of Fame inductee ."

Stan Lane hands Matt Hardy the the Trophy.

MH:" Thank you, Stan and Mid Atlantic for helping the city of Cameron with the Hall Of Fame. I here in my home town, with my wife to accept this award. I'm also here with my Wife and Dad to announce my ret( before he could finish that statement John Skylar music comes on )

The Southern Savior John Skylar comes out with a mic.

JS:" Matt when I was little you and your brother where my favorite wrestlers. I here to tell you that can not retire until you tell the world that I'm the best young wrestler in the Nwa."

MH:" Son I do not even know even who you are. Know son step aside so I can do what I came here to do. As I was saying before I was interrupted . I gave 20 years to wrestling that I love. It's time for me to hang the boots."

Skylar grab the trophy and smashed it over the head of Matt Hardy. Then after he pick up Hardy, then hit the State Of Grace DDT. He grab the mic.

JS:" You know who I am now Hardy. I'm the Southern Savior John Skylar".

All the while Matt Hardy Wife  crying for help.

Trevor Lee W/ Tessa Blanchard defeats Christian York via pinfall. Lee won with a knee to the face.

Joey Matthews defeats Jaxson James W/ Tessa Blanchard via pinfall. Matthews wins with a roll up.

The Black Boots Society ( Biff Busick & Timothy Thatcher) defeats Lodi & Joe Black. They win when they hit a German suplex top rope leg drop combo on Black.

This might be the best show I've ever seen you book going back the 2 years I have been writing on the same boards as you. I can't recall ever seeing an angle with the impact that closing segment had out of any of your stuff, which probably helps it stand out that much more. Matt Hardy in North Carolina is the perfect face foil for John Skyler right now, and that was a great way to cross the 2 paths. This angle has a lot of potential going forward if played right. Off about 5 seconds of thought, you get at least 4 main event quality matches with ease at monthly house shows, if not 5. This can carry you through the end of 2014. The August 29th show is strong enough without that match so hopefully you play it a bit slower and hold them off until September. Maybe just have Hardy run in on Skyler?

Another good move was not having both Alexander and Titus factor in the finish of the tag team match. Keeps something for the tournament final.

Hoping Country Jacked take that mini tournament for the Tag Team Title. That and playing third wheels in anything Hardy vs Skyler could really elevate their profiles by the end of 2014.

I also enjoyed the angle with Hardy and Skylar and hopefully Skylar gets the kind of rub that gets him booked elsewhere. I also liked the refusal of Titus to wrestle Alexander and it definitely helps the build to their match on the 29th. Congrats on the iPPV as well as that weekend is becoming packed with "Never Ending War" and "Summer Stampede" as well. I must admit though that the numerous spelling errors and the nonsensical statements make it hard for me to follow everything as well as I hope to... such as "The Pistols will face The Midnight Sons on the teams they faced at The Bash" or "Also we will have a Four team one night tournament to crown the U.S. Tournament Country Jakked Vs Rich Swann & Ricky Morton in one match"... This one makes me think Hardy may have been drinking before his speech "I here in my home town, with my wife to accept this award. I'm also here with my Wife..."

The end of August should be a weekend to remember for the National Wrestling Alliance with Crowned, Never Ending War, and Summer Stampede all taking place on consecutive days. I am a big fan of all three members of Southern Death so I'm naturally excited for Hardy and Skylar. Good booking in the main event as well - can't wait for the pay per view.
