1. Flyer & Leono defeat Apocalipsis & Camorra
The tecnicos take the match in straight falls in a decent opener.
2. Magnus, Molotov & Sensei defeat Hijo del Signo, Inquisidor & Nitro
Tecnicos take the first and third falls with the Magnus/Signo sequences clearly being the highlight.
3. Goya Kong, Lluvia & Skadi defeat La Comandante, La Seductora & Zeuxis
Tecnicas take the first and third fall with Kong dominating much of the match. Lluvia and Zeuxis had a great sequence but it was Kong taking the deciding fall with the Goya Bomb on Comandante.
4. Virus, Cancerbero & Raziel defeat Valiente, Starman & Stigma
Rudos dominate much of the match and take the second and third falls to win. Los Cancerberos del Infierno’s experience working together was obvious and showed little weakness outside of Valiente pinning Raziel in a short first fall.
5. La Sombra, Shocker & Boby Zavala defeat Titán, Stuka Jr. & Tritón
This proved to be a great lead-in match to the CMLL Universal Tournament Final in a few days as Sombra and Titán shared the ring on several occasions. Zavala took the first fall from Tritón with a springboard senton but Titán would even the match with the Titanics on Shocker. Sombra won a long third fall by capping off a great sequence with Titán with a split-legged corkscrew senton. Sombra and Titán shook hands following the match.
6. Mexican National Trios Championships Match: Negro Casas, Mr. Niebla & Felino vs. Blue Panther, Black Panther & Cachorro
This match resembled less of a match and more of a war as La Peste Negra brutalized the sons of Blue Panther. Both Black Panther and Cachorro had their masks ripped before the end of the first fall. Blue Panther would clearly take offense and worked over Felino before the taking the first fall with the Nudo Lagunero. Black Panther and Cachorro would battle back in the second fall and used dives to gain an advantage. The brawling on the floor afterwards saw La Peste Negra take control once more though before Niebla used La Nieblina on Cachorro. The third fall took the match up another notch as Cachorro and Black Panther were both busted open at the hands of Felino. Cachorro would manage to even the score though, busting open Felino by reversing a whip into the ringpost. Puma would make his way to ringside to initially check on his father but then tossed Cachorro into the first row. Blue Panther would rush to his son’s aid and the referee was quickly distracted by the commotion at ringside, allowing Casas to foul Black Panther and use La Casita to retain the Championships.
The war wasn’t over though as Tiger would jump over the barricade and attack Blue Panther from behind. Felino and his sons would destroy Blue Panther and Cachorro at ringside, eventually leading to Blue Panther being busted open by a chairshot from Felino. Casas and Niebla would continue to beat on Black Panther until Blue Panther and Cachorro were tossed back into the ring. The fans became eerily silent as Tiger handed Casas a chair and then helped Puma hold Cachorro. Felino and Niebla grabbed Blue Panther as Casas wrapped the chair around the ankle of Black Panther. Casas then stepped on the apron and grabbed a microphone. Casas noted that Blue Panther had refused to face Felino in a hair vs. hair match last week, noting that he had beaten Felino for his hair nearly three years ago. Casas then pointed out that he and Panther had faced in other in a hair vs. hair match a year and a half ago but there was no winner in that match. It was a time-limit draw and both men had their heads shaved. Casas said he wants a rematch, except he doesn’t want Panther’s hair… he wants his career! Blue Panther once more refused the match causing Casas to threaten Panther to either accept the match or watch him break his son’s leg. The fans became more vocal now willing Panther to accept the match. Casas would repeat the challenge for a career vs. career match once more, this time adding that the match would happen at the 81st Anniversary Show. Casas tossed the microphone to Felino and grabbed the ropes as if ready to springboard into the ring. Felino would slap Panther across the face before holding the microphone to his lips. Panther would finally relent and agreed to put his career on the line against Casas to save his son’s leg. Felino would announce to the crowd that Blue Panther would face Negro Casas in a career vs. career match at the 81st Anniversary Show on September 19th in this very building before calling Panther a “good papa”. Casas would then use a springboard senton onto the chair to crush the ankle of Black Panther. The crowd reacted in disgust as the Casas Family left the ring and Blue Panther and Cachorro were left to crawl to Black Panther as he writhed in pain.
