I chose a terrible week for my pay per view, Summer Stampede. My sister is getting married on the weekend, so there will not be full writeups Unlimited or Championship Wrestling this week. Summer Stampede will not be posted until Tuesday.

Jeremy Borash announces that this will be the last television show known as Championship Wrestling, as the name has been sold to the newest New York affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance. NWA Unlimited will be the new television show. A webcast will continue on Fridays on NWALonestar.com.

A very angry Karl Anderson opens up the show, demanding Shiima Xion and Tyler Breeze come to the ring and face him like men. Rather than who he asked for, Luke Gallows comes to the ring. Before he can say anything, Anderson tells Gallows that he already thanked him for saving him last week but would appreciate being left alone to deal with his business. Gallows instead offers to help Anderson, saying the reason he saved him last week is he knows that he will be a target, whether its tonight or later on. Gallows says they wrestled last week on Unlimited and neither man could beat each other so he suggests the two of them team tomorrow night on Summer Stampede against Xion and Breeze. Anderson thinks for a moment before shaking Gallows' hand. He tells Xion and Breeze to get out here, which, this time, they oblige.
Xion and Breeze peer through the curtains and accept the challenge on one condition. Since they were so nice and accepted the challenge, Anderson and Gallows must be nice and accept their condition. Anderson is angry enough that he accepts the challenge no matter what. Breeze says after they win at Summer Stampede, they get to give Anderson and Gallows makeovers next week on Unlimited!

Anthony Nese & Jeff Hardy vs. Daisuke Sekimoto & Samoa Joe
It was announced last week that Sekimoto & Joe would team up, but it wasn't announced against whom! Two partners of bitter rivals squared off and it would be whoever could stick together who would prevail. Both teams were surprisingly calm until Hardy went to make the hot tag to Nese, who stepped down to the arena floor. Joe used the muscle buster on Hardy. Rather than go for the pin, he went to pick him up. Before he could strike, Sekimoto slapped Joe's back and tagged himself into the match. Before Joe realized what happened he was devastated with a lariat to the back of the head. Sekimoto hits a bridging German suplex on Hardy to pick up the win.
After the match, from the entrance, Nese stares and smiles at a beaten Hardy.

We have a special appearance from the NWA North American Heavyweight Champion, Windy City Pro Wrestling's Mark Jindrak. Jindrak tells Samoa Joe that he can thank him later for still being the World Heavyweight Champion and Jindrak expects his thank you be a World Heavyweight Championship match after Summer Stampede. He says in regards to Summer Stampede, though, he has been gracious enough to allow enough time in his schedule for the Texas fans. So he might as well put an open challenge out. He challenges anyone in the crowd to come to the ring and face him. Many men in the audience - and a few women as well - are ready to accept the challenge, but Jindrak shrugs them off, saying there is no one in his league ...
"Texas Special" by Thomas Blug and Mark Scholz cuts Jindrak off as Bo Dallas comes to the ring. Bo Dallas tells Jindrak as great as they are, it is too easy to challenge untrained fans to a match. Dallas says he isn't scheduled to compete at Summer Stampede, so he might as well win the North American Heavyweight Championship! Before Jindrak can answer, someone from the back stops them.
BJ Whitmer says he just agreed to a deal with Lonestar and he is pretty pissed off right now. Two weeks ago he was guaranteed to be wrestling Samoa Joe for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in Pennsylvania tonight, but NWA Liberty Pro owner Joseph Rother took his ball and went home! He left everyone in the dark and his championship dreams went down the drain with Rother! So if anyone is getting a North American title shot, it is him!
Jindrak comes up with a solution, all by himself. He tells both of these "losers" that they can wrestle each other tonight to see who wrestles him on Sunday!
