(The show opens with a view over the Tampa Civic Center before going to ringside where Mike Tenay and Lenny Leonard are sitting at ringside at the announcers' table.)
Tenay: Ladies and gentlemen, we would like to welcome you to the first ever EVOLVE internet pay per view, Crowning Achievement. I'm Mike Tenay, joined by Lenny Leonard. And tonight, we will be crowning the new Florida Heavyweight Champion.
Leonard: That's right, Mike, but we also have the crowning of the first ever EVOLVE King Of The Hill Champion and have a huge SHIMMER Championship match.
Tenay: But, we have a huge show tonight, so let's get to the ring for our first match.
Match 1: Jason Kincaid vs. Buff Bagwell (NWA Mid-Atlantic)
Highlights: Kincaid is making his EVOLVE debut tonight in front of the huge crowd as he takes on the veteran in Buff Bagwell, but it was evident that Buff was taking the former high school wrestling standout for granted. Any little victory Buff during the match, he would play up the crowd, which would soon get the crowd to boo him. But it would be that playing with the crowd that would do Buff Daddy in as Kincaid would hit a series of moves including a release German Suplex, a setup enzigiri kick, and ending it out with Sliced Bread #2 for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Jason Kincaid by pinfall (Kincaid gains 1 point.)
Match 2: Colby Corino vs. Icarus
Highlights: This match was a set of debuts as Icarus would face the young Colby Corino, who the crowd was iffy on due to being the son of Old School member, Steve Corino. But the young Corino would soon gain the crowd's support as he would take it to the much more experenced Icarus, keeping him on the mat with nearly flawless mat game. Icarus would go low road by poking Corino in the eyes and going right on the attack. But as Icarus would set up for the Wings Of Icarus (Pedegree), Colby would slip out, and hit a huge DDT for a 2 count. Colby would then hit a huge shining wizard on go for the cover, but out of nowhere, Chuck Taylor would come down to the ring and jump on the apron to distract the referee. With the referee distracted, Gran Akuma would come through the crowd and hit Colby with the Tenchi Crash (Tombstone Piledriver into a sitout wheelbarrow facecrusher), putting Icarus on Colby as he ran from the ring. The pin was counted, ending the match.
Winner: Icarus by Pinfall (Icarus gains 1 point)
(Icarus would stand up dazingly as Taylor and Akuma came in to raise his arms.)
Tenay: And F.I.S.T. Gets stronger with the addition of Icarus.
Leonard: But did they have to come out here and ruin the debut of a bright young star like Colby.
(As F.I.S.T. Left the ring, Steve Corino would come out to the ring and help his son up.)
Leonard: And here comes Steve, now that shows a father's love.
(Steve would stand there and pat his son on the back, only to push his son back down to the mat.)
Tenay: And there the Corino we all know, not even showing respect for his son.
(Steve would leave the ring and just shake his head as Colby would pull himself up and leave the ring to a mixed reaction, trying to get his father's attention.)
Leonard: What type of family is that poor kid in, with a father like that, it's amazing he even followed in his shoes.
Tenay: I gotta agree there, but he has a bright future here in EVOLVE. Now let's send it to the back with Todd Gresham, who is with a special guest who is at ringside.
(The camera goes to the ringside area where Todd Gresham is standing with none other than NWA Mid-Atlantic's Hulk and Nick Hogan.)
Gresham: Folks, we have a legend in the crowd tonight, I am proud to introduce, the immortal Hulk Hogan. Hulk, what brings you to EVOLVE?
Hulk: Well, you know, brother, I was in the gym the other day and my son here told me that you guys were holding a huge show here in Tampa. I thought to myself, since I am in NWA Mid-Atlantic now, brother, I need to come check out some of the competition here in EVOLVE.
Gresham: Well, what do you think of the talent you have seen so far?
Hulk: Right now, I see the future of wrestling right here, brother. I bet all of them in the back were little Hulkamaniacs and are hoping to follow in the path of the Hulkster, but you never know, brother.
Gresham: And who do you have in the Florida Heavyweight Championship match, Hulk?
Hulk: It's too hard to tell right now, so I will have to decline to answer that one, brother.
Gresham: Well, thanks for talking with us, Hulk, back to you guys at the booth.
Match 3: Delirious vs. Lince Dorado
Highlights: The match started off with a feeling out process between the two masked men, showing off the mat wrestling skills of they had. But as Lince started to try to build the speed he is known for, Delirious will keep the pace slow and methodical with his stiff kicks. Dorado would get small bursts of quick moves, hitting a hurricanrana for a 2 count. Lince would go up to the top rope, but Delirious would crotch him on the ropes and tossed him off of it. Delirious would then pick up the win, hitting the Chemical Imbalance.
Winner: Delirious by pinfall (Delirious earns 1 point)
Match 4: Madison Eagles vs. Mercedes Martinez
Highlights: These women came out to show the crowd here in Tampa that women's wrestling was just as hard hitting as the men. It would be a huge brawl with each woman hitting huge power moves that put the crowd in awe. Martinez would get close to the win with a snap powerslam for a 2 count. Following that up, Martinez would hit a huge brainbuster, but Eagles would get her foot on the rope at two. The ending would come with Martinez signalling for her finisher, only for Eagles to get a surprise inside cradle for the pinfall.
Winner: Madison Eagles by pinfall
(In the back, Todd Gresham would be standing in front of a banner for Crowning Achievement.)
Gresham: Ladies and gentlemen, I am join now by one of the combatants in tonight's main event for the Florida Heavyweight Championship, Steve Corino.
(Steve Corino would step into the screen, accompanied by Ric Flair.)
Gresham: Mr. Corino, earlier tonight, we saw you leave your son, Colby, in the ring after a loss to...
Corino: Now, Todd, let's not talk about the family business. Let's talk about the night that the Old School begins their domination over EVOLVE. After I go out there and beat that fat bowl of jello known as Eddie Kingston, I will take that belt that legends have held. That greatness had their start with, and I will be damned if I let that wannabe take my spot. Kingston, you talk about how this is your moment of redemption, that all you worked for leads to this night. Well, I hate to disappoint you, but your redemption won't be coming to you tonight. Instead, it will be you, laying on your back as I am given MY Florida Heavyweight Championship belt.
Gresham: Any thoughts on the special guest enforcer for the match?
(Flair would step up to Gresham now.)
Flair: Let me take care of this, Steve. Cornette, you think you can just make up the rules as you go! You think that just because you aren't the manager of the most dominate group of men in all of the NWA! No, you sit at a desk and push those papers, sign our checks, and make sure our bags get to these hellholes of arenas you book us in. It doesn't matter who you get, it could be Bobby, Stan, Bart, or that Spark Plug kid, tonight the Old School will reign supreme. Woooo!
(Flair and Corino would walk off screen as Gresham looks to the camera.)
Gresham: Well, back to you guys at ringside.
Match 5: Shiima Xion vs. Ricochet
Highlights: A fast paced, high flying pace was how this match started, with each man trying to top the other. Xion would be the one to get the first high spot, hitting a handspring into a spinning hurricanrana, but Ricochet would bridge out of the pin attempt and hit a stiff kick to the head of Xion for a two count. Ricochet would stay on the attack, hitting a tilt-a-whirl headsiccors takedown followed by a standing moonsault for another two count. Xion would come back quckly, hitting two shoulder blocks, followed by hitting a vicious dropkick. Xion would go to the top rope and hit a 450 splash for a two count, Xion arguing with the referee due to that. As he did, Ricochet would get in a schoolboy for another two count. The ending came with Shiima Xion hitting the Bible Black out of nowhere for the pinfall.
Winner: Shiima Xion by pinfall (Xion gains 1 point)
(In the back, SHIMMER Champion Sara Del Rey would be standing in fornt of a Crowning Achievement banner, the SHIMMER Championship belt on her shoulder.)
Del Rey: So tonight, I am taking on the most vicious women's wrestler in all of the world, Amazing Kong. And it was just a last month that I defeated her in JPP for this belt. And now, right here in EVOLVE, I have to step up to the challenge again. If you think I am afraid of you, Kong, you are very wrong. I beat you once and I will do it again, because I am not just the SHIMMER Champion, but I am the Queen of Wrestling, and there is nothing that will stop me from reigning supreme.
(Del Rey would glare at the camera for a moment and then walk out of the scene.)
Match 6: SHIMMER Championship Match: Sara Del Rey -c- vs. Amazing Kong
Highlights: Del Rey would come into the match with a fire in her, going right on the attack to Kong. Del Rey would use repeated elbow strikes on Kong, only to be pushed off and then clotheslined by the monster. Kong would stay right on the champ, hitting a huge falling bodyslam for a two count. Del Rey would get back on the right track, working on the knee of Kong. Getting her down to one knee, Del Rey would go off the ropes and hit a huge dropkick to Kong for a two count. Kong would get a two count of her own, hitting the Amazing Bomb. Kong would look shocked that Del Rey kicked out of that and would set up for the Implant Buster, but Del Rey would escape and hit another series of elbow strikes, followed by a running lariat, but still not being able to phase the monster. The finish came when Del Rey would catch the arm of Kong as she went for a clothesline and locked in the LeBelle Lock, forcing Kong to submit.
Winner: And still SHIMMER Champion: Sara Del Rey by submission
(Del Rey would be handed the belt by senior referee Bryce Remsburg.)
Tenay: What a match, folks, and Del Rey pull it all out to defeat Kong and retain the SHIMMER Championship.
Leonard: Boy, did she. What an impressive victory by the champ.
(As Del Rey celebrated, Kong would hit a spinning backfist to the back of Del Rey's head. Del Rey would fall to the ground.)
Leonard: Oh god, Kong just attacked Del Rey from behind.
Tenay: Kong is obviously angry over the loss to the Queen Of Wrestling.
(Kong would set Del Rey up for the Implant Buster, but Madison Eagles would run down to the ring and go to clothesline Kong, only to be caught and chokeslamed by the beast.)
Tenay: Eagles just sacrificed herself for the champ.
Leonard: Why would she do that?
Tenay: Respect maybe?
(Kong would then hit Eagles with the Implant Buster. As the crowd booed, Kong would pick up the SHIMMER Championship belt and hold it over her head.)
Tenay: I don't think this will be the last time we see Kong going for that belt.
Leonard: And I am sure that Del Rey will welcome another match after this assault. But what about Madison Eagles?
Tenay: We will have to wait to see. Now let's get to our next match, a threeway tag dance that will preview the Florida Tag Team Championship tournament
Leonard: This match will also be the debut of the international superstars of Masato Yoshino and Dragon Kid.
Tenay: Let's get to the ring.
Match 7: Threeway Tag Dance: F.I.S.T. (Chuck Taylor/Gran Akuma) w/ Icarus vs. Team Macktion (Kirby/TJ Mack) vs. Masato Yoshino/Dragon Kid
First Fall: Masato Yoshino/Dragon Kid eliminates Team Macktion by submission when Yoshino locked TJ Mack in the Sol Noichete.
Second Fall: F.I.S.T. Eliminates Masato Yoshino/Dragon Kid by pinfall when Taylor hit Dragon Kid with the Awful Waffle.
Winners: F.I.S.T.
(In a random locker room, the camera focuses on Zander Creed warming up. Then the camera would pan over to Lou E. Dangerously.)
Dangerously: Everyone seems to keep forgetting that even though you have Kingston and Corino battling it out for the Florida Heavyweight Championship, they keep forgetting that tonight will be just the start of the Russian Killdozer's rise to power. I have the biggest, baddest man in all of EVOLVE, and what does he have to do tonight? He has to go out there and destroy two string beans who think that flying and flipping around will save them from having their bones shattered by this mountain of a man. No one, and I mean no one in this locker room can match the sheer force that is Zander Creed, and tonight will be the coming out party for the Killdozer. And it will just be the beginning of the end.
(Creed would then stop warming up and just stand up straight, glaring right at the camera as it faded back to the ring.)
Match 8: EVOLVE King Of The Hill Championship Threeway Dance: Jigsaw vs. PAC vs. Zander Creed w/ Lou E. Dangerously
First Elimination: Jigsaw would be eliminated due to the fact that Ace Archer would come out to the ring and start brawling with Jigsaw. They would take the brawl to the back and the referee made the call.
Second Elimnation: Zander Creed would force PAC to tap out to the Creed Clutch Alpha (Crossface).
Winner: And NEW EVOLVE KING OF THE HILL CHAMPION: Zander Creed
(As the bell rang, Lou E. would grab the belt and command Creed to put PAC back into the Creed Clutch Alpha.)
Leonard: There is no need for this!
Tenay: I agree, Creed just defeated PAC and is now the King Of The Hill Champion.
(Creed would lock the Creed Clutch Alpha in as Lou E. would keep the referee back. As PAC was screaming in pain, Masato Yoshino and Dragon Kid would come running out to the ring to make the save, force Creed and Lou E. to leave the ring.)
Tenay: Thank god for Yoshino and Dragon Kid for making that save.
(Yoshino and Dragon would help PAC up as the fans would give him a standing oviation.)
Leonard: And the crowd is giving PAC their respect, and what a fight he put on against the bigger Creed.
Tenay: But now, Lenny, we have the FRAY match which will feature the men who didn't make it to tonight's tournament finals for the Florida Heavyweight Championship. Lenny, run down the rules of the match right now for us.
Leonard: Two men will start the match off, with another man entering the ring every 60 minutes. Eliminations will occur by pinfall or submission. The winner of the match will be the last one standing. But that's not it, each pinfall or submission will still be one point, and if you are eliminated, you lose all your points.
Tenay: So there is a max of five points on the line tonight, what a huge advantage the winner of this match will have in the EVOLVE rankings, let's get to the ring for the action.
Match 9: FRAY for points: Mike Quackenbush vs. Super Dragon vs. Arik Cannon vs. Kevin Steen vs. El Generico vs. Claudio Castangoli
Order of entrance:
1. Super Dragon
2. Claudio Castnagoli
3. Kevin Steen
4. Mike Quackenbush
5. Arik Cannon
6. El Generico
Order Of Elimination:
1. Arik Cannon by pinfall (Kevin Steen, package piledriver [1])
2. Super Dragon by pinfall (Claudio, Ricola Bomb [1])
3. El Generico by submission (Quackenbush, Lightning Lock Beta [2])
4. Claudio Castnagoli by pinfall (Kevin Steen, package piledriver, [2])
5. Mike Quackenbush by submission (Kevin Steen, Sharpshooter [3])
Winner: Kevin Steen (Steen earns 3 points, eligible for King Of The Hill Title shot)
(In the back, Eddie Kingston would be standing in front of a Crowning Achievement banner, wearing a Larry Sweeney “Sweet N' Sour” t-shirt.)
Kingston: Tonight, the one night where I have a chance to join a list of names that have forged legecies. Tonight, I go out to that ring and do what I love, but this time for the top spot in a company. And I wasn't handed it, I fought for it like I have fought for everything in my life. And with that said, I am not a good person. I've done some evil things in my life, but that's what I had to do to survive. But that shouldn't excuse what I have done. But this night, here in Tampa, I am going out there not just for redemption and absolution, but I am going out there to honor the memory of my closest friend, a man by the name of Larry Sweeney. A man that I called brother, and brother, I swear on all that I stand for, that I will defeat Corino and become the Florida Heavyweight Champion, because not only do I need this, but you need this. Larry, if you are up there, this one is for you.
(A teary-eyed Kingston walks off camera as the scene fades to Justin Roberts standing in the center of the ring.)
Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for our main event!
(The crowd will go wild.)
Roberts: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a no disqualification match for the Florida Heavyweight Championship!
(“Come With Me” by Puff Daddy and Jimmy Page starts playing as Steve Corino would start to make his way to the ring to a chorus of boos. He would enter the ring and get into one corner, stretching out more. After that, “Diamonds from Sierra Leone” by Kanye West starts playing as the crowd goes wild. Eddie Kingston would start to make his way to the ring, giving fives to the ringside fans before coming up to Hulk Hogan. Kingston would extend his hand for a handshake, but Hogan wouldn't go for it. Kingston would then start to shout at Hogan, calling him a washed up has been. Hogan and Kingston would continue to exchange words, but then Hogan would shake it off and offer a handshake. But Kingston would not accept it and enter the ring.)
Roberts: Ladies and gentlemen, to my right, he comes in tonight standing at 6'3” and weighing in at 242 lbs. He comes to us from Sea Isle City, New Jersey, he is the King Of The Old School, Steve Corino!!!!
(Corino would raise both arms in the air, but still only get a chorus of boos.)
Roberts: And to my left, he comes in tonight standing at 5'11” and weighing in at 228 lbs. From Yonkers, New York, he is the King Of Diamonds, the Last of a Dying Breed, Eddie Kingston!!!!
(Kingston would take off the Sweet N' Sour t-shirt and tosses it to the ring girl as the crowd goes wild for him.)
Roberts: And now, introducing our speical guest enforcer, he is a man that called Florida his home for many years and is a former Florida Heavyweight Champion, as well as a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion....
(“You Can't Judge a Book by The Cover” by Hank Williams Jr. started playing as “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes would come out to a roaring applause.)
Roberts: “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes!!!!!
(Rhodes would come out to ring side and gave the fans the thumbs up. Bryce Remberg would then call for the bell.)
MAIN EVENT: Finals of the Florida Heavyweight Championship Tournament: Steve Corino vs. Eddie Kingston (Speical Guest Enforcer: Dusty Rhodes)
Highlights: Before the bell could even be rung, Corino would share some harsh words with Rhodes. That lead to a distraction that had Kingston hit a Backdrop Driver for a 2 count. Corino would go for Kingston's eyes and start a slow paced break down of his opponent. Corino would send Kingston into the ropes, and go for the Old School lariat, but Kingston would duck it and come off the ropes again, hitting his Blackout lariat for another 2 count. Corino would then slide out of the ring, and go for a chair, but Rhodes would pulls the chair away from Corino. This would spark another war of words between Corino and The American Dream, only for Kingston to pick up the chair himself. As Corino turned to go back to the ring, Kingston would level Corino with the chair. Back inside the ring, Kingston would once again go for the chairshot, only for Corino to drop down and low blow Kingston. Corino would then start to go after the injuried knee of Kingston, locking in a single leg crab. Kingston would pull himself to the ropes though, only to have Corino drive his knee into the mat. Corino would then hit Kingston with a picture perfect brainbuster, but that only netted him a nearfall. Corino would then signal for the end, setting Kingston up for the Old School Expulsion, only for Kingston to flip around and hit a release Northern Lights Suplex. What Kingston didn't know though was that he had thrown Corino into referee Bryce Remsberg, so when he went for the cover on Corino, there was no ref to make the count. But Rhodes would enter the ring and make the count, but Corino would kick out at 2.9. Kingston would pull himself up by the ropes after that and call for the Backfist To The Future, but that was when The Old School's theme song would start playing over the PA, distracting both Rhodes and Kingston. As they were looking at the entrance ramp, Corino would grab the chair and use it on the knee of Kingston. As Kingston crumbled to the mat, Corino would lock in a Figure Four Leglock, shouting at Rhodes to end the match. Kingston would fight through the pain and make it to the ropes, but Corino would not give up the hold. Rhodes had no choice but to break the hold himself, which caused a shoving match between Corino and Rhodes. Towards the end of the shoving match though, Rhodes would push Corino hard into a just standing Kingston, who would hit the Backdrop Driver again and follow it up with the Sliding D for the win.
WINNER: AND NEW FLORIDA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: Eddie Kingston by pinfall
(The crowd would be going wild, throwing streamers into the ring.)
Tenay: He did it, folks, Eddie Kingston is the new Florida Heavyweight Champion!
Leonard: And what a match they had. It was back and forth the whole time.
(The crowd chants “That was Awesome” or “That was wrestling!” as Dusty Rhodes would go to get the Florida Heavyweight Championship belt. But as he was getting it, Hulk Hogan would come from behind the barrier and insist that he wanted to award Kingston with the belt.)
Leonard: Well, I'm surprised by this, after the shouting match Kingston and the Hulkster had before this match, Hogan actually wants to give Kingston the belt.
Tenay: Why is that so strange, Lenny? Hogan must see something in Kingston to want to do this.
(Hogan and Rhodes then agree to both award the belt to Kingston. They would enter the ring as Kingston was standing on the turnbuckle, soaking in the moment. Kingston would climb down from the turnbuckle and turn to see both Hogan and Rhodes in the ring. Kingston starts to choke up abit.)
Tenay: Not only has Kingston won the Florida Heavyweight Championship, but he did so in the memory of the late Larry Sweeney. What an emotional night this has become.
(Kingston would ask for the Sweet N' Sour t-shirt he wore to the ring. He would put it on as the crowd started to chant “Sweet N' Sour”. Rhodes would then raise Kingston's hand as Hogan would put the belt around Kingston's waist.)
Roberts: The winner of the bout and NEW Florida Heavyweight Champion, the King of Diamonds, Eddie King...
(Before Justin Roberts could even get the last part of Kingston's name out, Hulk Hogan would drop to his knees and low blow Kingston.)
Leonard: What in the hell is Hogan doing?!? He just attacked the Florida Heavyweight Champion and he isn't even an EVOLVE employee, he is from NWA Mid-Atlantic.
(Rhodes would get into Hulk's face and they two would have another shouting match, but Nick Hogan would jump the barrier and deliver a low blow himself to Dusty. Security would rush to the ring to escort both Hogans out of the arena.)
Tenay: I have no words that could describe what we just saw here, but folks, we are out of time. For Lenny Leonard and Todd Gresham, I am Mike Tenay. Thank you for ordering EVOLVE's Crowning Achievement, we will see you next time with EVOLVE 4. Good night.
(The last scene of the show would be Kingston pulling himself up and seeing Rhodes down on the ground as the screen fades to black.)
