Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. Last week at the Saturday Night Special saw some big news with the announcement of the first ever live iPPV set for Saturday night October 11 from the Davis Arena, Rage In The Cage. Jamin Olivencia gets his chance at Marcus Anthony and the Southern championship inside the Steel Cage, meaning no interference from Timmy Danger. But maybe overshadowing that, Doug Basham's actions last Saturday, completely uncalled for. Dean says that he has known Doug a long time, and he has known Danny a long time. This thing will not quietly disappear and the battle lines have been drawn and blood will be shed. Titus says that he cannot wait until this place gets renamed the Basham Arena and Doug gets full control away from that dinosaur Danny Davis. As for today on TV, all they have right now is a blank slate. No idea what is set for the broadcast, just that the Director of Authority TPT will open the show. Sure as that, from the back he steps out to head to the ring.
TPT addresses Ohio Valley!
The D.O.A. starts by thanking the fans for their support over the years. There have been good times and bad times, but on Saturday October 11, OVW heads to iPPV for Rage In The Cage. This is a gigantic step forward for the company. Jamin Olivencia won the #1 contender match, Marcus Anthony retained the Southern Title, so on October 11, it goes down 1 more time! But unlike the last time Jamin got an opportunity and there was outside interference, this time the match will be contested inside a Steel Cage! 1 man wins definitively and we will get our answer at long last as to who is the better man. And if that was not enough, today and next week on TV there are going to be qualifying matches. What for? Well on October 11, they are going to hang a briefcase high above the ring. And inside that briefcase will be the golden ticket, a contract. The winner can use that contract for a shot at the Southern championship in OVW, at any time he pleases. Big stakes. And they get that stakes by climbing a ladder. Some call it Money In The Bank, he calls it the 2014 King of The Valley match.
With all that good news, comes some bad news. We got 3 qualifying matches here today, but everybody has been asking him all week about the condition of Danny Davis. Is he alright after what Doug Basham did last Saturday? Let me say this, you can knock Danny Davis down, but he'll get up fighting every time until the bitter end! Basham, you wanted a war, well now you got a war. And it starts tonight. Danny Davis is not here, he's still recovering, but that don't mean ol' TPT is sitting back and taking it easy. After the controversial finish at the Saturday Night Special where Rob Conway should have pinned The French Stallion and become the new Southern Tag Team champions, the 2 tag teams will meet again right here tonight in the main event with the title on the line! And just to make sure there is no funny business, if they get counted out again, if they get themselves disqualified, that's it! They lose not only the match, but the championship as well! Tonight, there will be a winner. That gets a nice pop from the fans. Turning the tables now, TPT wants to call Mr. Media Cliff Compton out to the ring. The commentators mention that last Saturday, Compton forfeited his match, feeling that the competition he was given was beneath him.
Compton heads to the ring as some fans cheer his arrival, some boo. Dean says that the fans seem to be split on whether to support the actions of Compton, or disagree with what he has done so far. Compton enters as TPT tells him that last week on TV, he came out here asking for a match at the Saturday Night Special and that is exactly what he gave him. Instead Compton showed up and forfeited the match because it was as he put it, inferior competition. Compton cuts him off and says that TPT needs to shut his mouth now because all he sees out in the crowd are a bunch of Zs right now as the fans fall to sleep. They do not want to see Cliff Compton against a bunch of nobodies, they want to see Cliff Compton in the main event! If that is not the opportunity he is going to get from TPT and Danny Davis, a lot of other people around here and more specifically elsewhere are willing to give him that chance. He will walk if he has to, and he is going to give TPT a week to figure this out, or this may be the final time he ever steps through that curtain into the Davis Arena. A lot for TPT to deal with as the show heads to break.

Back from break and The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley is out with Mongo to talk with Gilbert at ringside. Bradley tells the fans that all he has heard about the last week is Jamin Olivencia this, Jamin Olivencia that. The facts as he sees them though are he never lost. Jamin might have won the match, but he never beat him! He beat Rudy Switchblade, a far inferior wrestler to himself. He could make Switchblade tap, and he could make Olivencia tap. Just give him the opportunity. That loss was Switchblade's fault and if Jamin has any guts at all, he will face him right here next week on TV. He reiterates that he was not beaten yet again as Gilbert says that we will hear from Olivencia later on today.
King of The Valley Qualifying match match

Match #1
Paredyse defeats TV champion Dylan Bostic in a non title match @ 5:48 via pinfall after The Long Kiss Goodnight, a forward STO. Paredyse becomes the first wrestler to qualify for the Money In The Bank style ladder match at the iPPV, and owes a big thanks to the masked Metal Master. During the match, Bostic's second The Mexicutioner was readying to interfere on Paredyse when the referee caught him grabbing Paredyse outside the ring. Focusing on that, he missed Metal Master come in and head to the top rope, delivering a missile dropkick to Bostic as he turned around. The fans cheered as Mexicutioner chased him off before Paredyse got back in and finished Bostic off. A big win that would also seemingly put Paredyse in line for a shot at the TV Title at the same time as qualifying him for the King of The Valley match.

Match #2
Rob Terry defeats Stuart Miles @ 4:05 after a powerbomb. The Pastor of Disaster comes out clutching his ribs and tries getting this match postponed. He says that after the beating he took at the Saturday Night Special in the I Quit match, he is in no condition to compete today. If Terry is any sort of man, he will postpone the match until next week, and if he is a believing man, he will take a page from the book of Compton and forfeit here today. Terry seems to consider that for about 5 seconds before shaking his head no. He proceeds to destroy The Pastor and put him away with ease. Terry joins Paredyse as the second to qualify for the King of The Valley match, and there is no doubt that The Freak would love another shot at Marcus Anthony or Jamin Olivencia should he emerge as Southern champion at the iPPV.

Before the next match, the new Women's champion Jessie Belle is out to talk with Gilbert. Everybody has wanted an explanation for her recent change in attitude. Jessie tells him that it is not a change, but who she really is. For months she was out here trying to play up to all the fans and it got her nowhere. Finally she got some advice from somebody and that is to ignore the fans! Forget about them because they don't pay the bills. What does is winning and she capped everything off last Saturday by becoming the #1 women's wrestler in Ohio Valley. Gilbert wonders who would give her that advice, but mentions that next week here on TV, Heidi Lovelace gets her guaranteed rematch at the title. Belle says to bring it on because now that she has this belt, it isn't going anywhere for a long time.

Match #3
Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Ray Lynn @ 3:57 via submission to the Rainbow Cross, a modified STF. After several appearances at live events over the summer, the fan favorite Monroe makes her TV debut with a win over the more clueless like Lynn. The commentators mention to expect to see more of Monroe in the coming weeks, but reiterate that next week it will be Heidi Lovelace getting her rematch for the Women's Title against Jessie Belle. Dean thinks that should Lovelace fail, maybe Monroe can be the 1 to step up and take that challenge. Titus laughs at that, feeling that nobody in the femmes fatale division will be dethroning Jessie Belle of the championship any time soon.

Match #4
King of The Valley Qualifying match match
Eddie Diamond defeats Bud Dwight, Nick Dumeyer, Elvis Pridemoore, Deonta Davis, and Raul Lamotta in a 4 corners underdog match @ 6:12 by making Davis tap out to the Cripwalk Crossface. While announced as a 4 corners match with 2 in the ring able to tag out to anybody in the 4 corners at any time, in fact there were only 5 as before the match Rudo Raul Lamotta deemed this beneath him. Now that he has a victory over Cliff Compton at the last Saturday Night Special, he is not an underdog or a loser like before, he is a winner! Dean says to give it a break as he only beat Compton on a forfeit but Titus says not to talk that way about the self proclaimed winner. Diamond wins this and becomes the third to qualify for the King of The Valley match, joining Terry & Paredyse. More qualifying matches next week here on TV.
-- Fifth commercial break --
Back from break and Jamin Olivencia is out to talk with Gilbert. First off a congratulations on once again becoming the #1 contender to the Southern Title. Jamin thanks Gilbert and says it has been a long road getting back here, but finally he has it. Marcus Anthony for the Southern Title inside a Steel Cage. No interference, just the 2 of them. He will prove to everybody on October 11 on iPPV what he has said all along, that he is the best in Ohio Valley. What about the challenge earlier from The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley? While Jamin did win the 3 way dance at the Saturday Night Special, he did not defeat Bradley. Jamin says that again, just to leave no doubts out there, he accepts the challenge and next week here on TV will take on Bradley 1 on 1 to shut him up. When he wins the title, he wants there to be no doubt about it. He is the best today.
Tag Team Title match
VS |
Match #5
Southern Tag Team champions Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion defeat Mohammad Ali Vaez & Rob Conway to retain the title @ 12:25 when Jonze pinned Vaez after a distraction from Doug Basham. As announced at the top of the show, the title could change hands on a countout or DQ, meaning referee Chris Sharpe was not to be tested. A close call saw a near DQ as Fabiano Rolento was about to hit Conway with a chair, but Sharpe stopped him and reminded him of the stipulation. As Rolento paused, Conway hit the chair into Rolento's own face and knocked him to the floor to effectively take him out of the match. From the back comes public enemy #1, Basham. Dean stands and rips him a new 1 as TPT comes out and stands in Basham's way, threatening him to leave right now. As Basham gets cornered to the side door, several other wrestlers are out as backup to TPT - Paredyse, Ryan Howe, Eddie Diamond, Bud Dwight, Aaron Sky, Robbie Walker, many of the men that fell victim a week ago at the Saturday Night Special. Conway steps out and tries to get at Basham, but TPT tells the wrestlers to keep him back. As referee Sharpe looks on, Shiloh gets behind Jonze and low blows him before rolling him up into a schoolboy. Stallion alerts Sharpe, who turns and has no choice but to make the 3. Basham's men steal a win here and will keep the title as chaos reigns for the end of today's broadcast.
Quick reminder for next week - more qualifying matches for the King of The Valley match at Rage In The Cage, rematch for the Women's Title with new champion Jessie Belle defending against former champion Heidi Lovelace, and a big main event with Jamin Olivencia going 1 on 1 with The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley. All that plus we will hear from the Southern champion Marcus Anthony & manager Timmy Danger, in addition to the fallout of what we just saw. That's next week, don't miss it!
