Our return to the NWA. We started out small. Worked our way up, and eventually became 'THE' player in the NWA.

With a deal worked out with the PWA, CPW and WCW were competing 'brands', sharing talent between the two. One in the NWA the other in the WWA. After a few months of this agreement, it was clear that one or the other would have to fall to the way side. In a radical effort, neither 'brand' lost out to the other, but rather, both grew out o f the new Major League Wrestling.

This era in the company history was one where the company carried the NWA. Many stars in MLW ere holding NWA gold, not for the fact that MLW was THE major player in the NWA, but the fact that they had talent and the MLW bookers were looking to the future. Once it was clear that MLW was the dominate force, the WWA/PWA and NWA, in its 'current state' all but shut down. MWL would continue to thrive for a few moth month before coming to terms with the rebirth of a stronger NWA. In the deal structured, MLW was reverted back to CPW, and is based in Ca.
