Location: Estero, Florida
Committee member Dontay Brown makes his way out to the ring with a huge announcement. Brown says that next week in Jacksonville, there will be a special contract signing, as NWA Florida proudly welcomes the current reigning and defending NWA World Tag Team champions, El Hijos del Terror, to the territory! From now on, the champions will represent Florida wherever they go, and the NWA Florida roster can now officially call itself the home of the best tag team wrestling in the NWA! And he says with that, we will open the show with some tag team action!
LAX (Hunico & Homicide) vs. DJ Z & Chasyn Rance
DJ Z and Chasyn Rance once again come out playing up their obnoxious side, while LAX came out all business, shouting and riling the crowd up and looking ready for war as they were cheered on by these Estero fans. LAX would manage to get the win this time, as opposed to being disqualified like in their debut against the NOW, as DJ Z once again got caught taunting. DJ Z would be air scratching some turn tables after hitting a big Dropkick on Homicide to knock him out of the ring, but he would get caught soon after with a Springboard Headbutt from Hunico, who would quickly pin for the near shocking victory!
Roxie Cotton vs. "The Canadian Ninja" Portia Perez
Roxie Cotton had the fans behind her in this tough contest with the world renowned Portia Perez. Cotton would take a good beating from the well rounded Canadian, but would battle back with some heavy hits and come off the top, squashing the smaller Perez with a Rolling Rox (Molly-Go-Round) for the pinfall win and a solid reaction from the crowd.
Before the next match, The NOW of Hale Collins and Vik Dalishus, along with their mouth piece Larry Dallas, make their way out again, and Dallas once again has a microphone. Dallas complains about the antics of LAX last week, but this week, he says things will be different! He calls for anybody to make their way out, because his boys are ready for anything!
This leads none other than "The Unbreakable" Michael Elgin making his way out, and the fans who know him are thrilled, while the others are intrigued. I mean, he's all alone. In the immortal words of a man appearing in the main event later, "Wazzupwitdat!?" Elgin explains. Elgin says that he saw the two ass clowns in the ring perform last week, and tonight, he may be only one man, but he's going to beat the Hell out of them even worse and show why he's the new baddest force in Florida!
Elgin runs down the ring, whipping off his vest, and early on it looks like Elgin might have bit off more than he can chew.
The NOW (Hale Collins & Vik Dalishus) w/ Larry Dallas vs. "The Unbreakable" Michael Elgin
The NOW are able to send fists and feet flying at Elgin early and knock him out of the ring, and to Dallas' delight, it looks like they are doing well! After some hip gyrations and high fives, they go out after the Canadian star and try to get him back in the ring. That's harder than it sounds, as Elgin fights back and fights back hard. And then it gets ugly. Elgin spears the bigger of the two, Dalishus, into the turnpost hard, and then beats the crap out of the smaller Collins, catching him with a Spinning Back Chop to knock him silly. Elgin sends both men into the ring, and they try to mount a come back, but Elgin hits a Double Vertical Suplex on them to show his power and tenacity, getting a big rise from the crowd! Then it gets ugly. Elgin throws Dallas to the ground as he tries to stop him, and Elgin throws in a few chairs and then sends a folding table into the ring. Let's just say there were some Powerbombs, the table broke, the chairs were all bent to Hell, and neither member of The NOW looked like they were still breathing in the end.
The referee awards the victory to The NOW for the second week in a row, but for the second week in the row they don't look like winners despite the disqualification. Michael Elgin leaves looking like a freight train from Hell ready to tear into the Florida roster, and perhaps through the entire alliance.
Lince Dorado vs. Trent Baretta
Baretta looked very cocky in his debut here, not seeming to take the Puerto Rican superstar seriously, but he had to change his tune by the middle of this match. Despite his lack of respect and low brow tactics, Dorado would hit some big lucha libre spots to send Baretta's head spinning, and would mount a few near falls. Baretta would manage to come back, getting Dorado tied up in the ropes and leg dropping the back of his head, then hitting a Swinging DDT, but could only get a two count. Dorado would manage to avoid the Gobstopper and catch Baretta with a Dropsault, followed by a Standing Moonsault Slam, and then he went up top, hitting a Shooting Star Press to get the three count! The fans can't believe it and Baretta can't believe it after the fact! Lince Dorado gets perhaps the biggest win of his career here, and Baretta is beside himself.
INTERMISSION - Autographs and meet and greets with the stars of NWA Florida, including 7-time World Junior Heavyweight champion "The Hurricane" Shane Helms!
Juicy Product (JT Dunn & David Starr) w/ Kimber Lee vs. Misled Youth (Jude Mackenzie & Joshua Masters)
The Juicy Product had a new piece of arm candy with them here, and perhaps that's what helped them pull through as they faced a very tough and talented team in Misled Youth. These two teams couldn't be more different in personality, but both teams had some really impressive tag team moves at their disposal. The story wasn't really here as much as it was two weeks ago with Juicy Product's win over Team Lucha, but it was clear these two teams were more evenly matched, and the Juicy Product couldn't get away with a lot of the antics they pulled against Rios and Cruz. Misled Youth looked like they might end things with a Backbreaker/Double Stomp combo on Starr, but Dunn would Springboard in and catch Mackenzie with a Suck It Bomb! The bigger Masters would try to go after Dunn, but would get caught with a low bridge and end up on the apron. Kimber Lee would distract him as Dunn revived Starr. From there, Dunn and Starr would bring Masters back in with a Double Suplex Slam, followed by a quick succession of Quebrada and Slignshot Senton. Mackenzie would get back up, and Starr would catch him with a Superkick, followed by a huge Knockout Elbow strike from Dunn, and it's all over!
The Juicy Product look super legit with this win, as Kimber Lee makes her way in to raise the arms of her men! These guys look like they are ready to go to war next week with the Sons of Chaos in Pittsburgh.
Jay Lethal vs. "Bad Influence" Frankie Kazarian
Frankie Kazarian would make his way out to the ring to sounds of "Mother" by Danzig, sporting a leather jacket and tooth pick in his mouth, trying to exude attitude. Jay Lethal would come out strutting and slapping hands, looking all hyped up and the fans were clearly behind him. While the match would definitely have some quicker paced moments, these two would take their time and tell a story here, and it may have been a show stealer to many, as these two really brought the goods. Lethal would draw the crowd into him, taking the big offense from Kazarian and surviving whatever holds and taunts he would lay on him, battling and trying to overcome. In the end, Kazarian would manage to hit an amazing counter, catching Lethal with a Lungblower reversal to the Lethal Injection (Handspring Cutter), and would deliver his Fade to Black (Back to Belly Piledriver) to get the win!
Nobody could deny that finish, as Kazarian would laugh and mock Lethal, pointing at his head and touting just how smart he is! Lethal is hurting, but vows he'll get him next time!
NWA NORTH AMERICAN TITLE CONTENDERSHIP
Jon Davis vs. "Mr. Handle That" Mike Facen vs. Raymond Rowe
The North American champion is going to be in town next week, and these three have all picked up impressive singles wins in the last couple of weeks. Facen would hit some decent looking offense, but things seemed to get really personal between Davis and Rowe, thanks to the attitude of Davis, who seemed to be holding a grudge with Rowe. Rowe and Davis would battle all over ringside, to the point where Facen just simply headed back into the ring and referee counted them out.
Facen is no coward and doesn't do things the cheap way, but he is smart and saw an opportunity, and now he'll be getting a shot at Mark Jindrak's belt next week in the main event! What a turn! The fans seem to be behind the kid, so hopefully he can hang. As for Rowe and Davis, it looks like these two will be meeting again as officials have to tear them apart.
JD Maverick & Jonny Vandal vs. "The Hurricane" Shane Helms & James Alexander
This match was about revenge for Helms and Alexander, who were both recently wronged by JD Maverick, while Vandal did Helms dirty along with Maverick after the main event of last week. It has become clear from this match and the banter they laid on Helms throughout that Maverick and Vandal think they are the real stars in Florida, and he needs to get out of the business! Helms and the young and exciting Alexander seemed to have no interest in laying down for Maverick and Vandal, and it seemed like the good guys and their fans were going to get what they wanted. Helms would manage to deliver a big Sugar Smack (Superkick) to Vandal, and it looked like Alexander might come off the top onto him to end the match, but Maverick would come up from behind Alexander as he was on the top and hit him with a chair! The referee calls for the bell, and Maverick looked to strike Helms!
The fans are booing as Maverick wields the chair back, but into the ring comes Derek Ryze, and Ryze sends a series of kicks to Maverick, and this sends him tumbling out of the ring, falling to the floor! Ryze tosses the chair out of the ring, and then runs off Vandal, and the fans cheer as one of the good guys makes the save! Helms raises both of the hands of the young men who stand side by side with him, while Vandal and Maverick nurse their wounds up the ramp, vowing to show them all who the true stars really are as the show comes to a close!
