Before the opening of the show, a shot outside The Davis Arena. Showing up to the building is Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion from the now disbanded Blacklist. They walk past a lineup of fans to some taunts and head towards the entrance. Not so fast though. Security says no. Stallion is beside himself about this. Jonze says they work for Ohio Valley, let them in right now! The Director of Authority Trailer Park Trash walks in and says he will take this from here. It's pretty simple. They made a choice, they gambled, they lost. They aren't welcome here anymore. Jonze says fine, but they will be hearing from his lawyers. Stallion goes into French mode and says "tu es la merde sur mon soulier" before turning and leaving. TPT says thanks and so long to you too and the show opening airs.

Southern Heavyweight champion: Jamin Olivencia
Southern Tag Team champions: The Skywalkers
TV champion: Metal Master
Women's champion: Jessie Belle
Dean Hill, Gilbert Corsey, and Michael Titus welcome viewers to the show. The Davis Arena is still buzzing thanks to last weekend's Rage In The Cage. Jamin Olivencia is the new Southern champion, but maybe even bigger news than that and if you didn't think it could get any bigger, the shocking appearance of CM Punk following the win, giving Olivencia the Go To Sleep. The new champion is here tonight, we will hear from him as there is certainly a lot on his mind. Also we just saw Shiloh Jonze & The French Stallion try to get in the building a moment ago, denied entry because Team OVW took the War Games match. We know their fate from what we just saw, but what about Doug Basham?, what about The Masked Turncoat? Still no idea who that was, but Danny Davis will be here later in the hour as well. Another new champion as Metal Master took the TV Title last weekend as well. Big show today, let's not waste any time as the music hits and out comes somebody else with a big night last weekend at Rage In The Cage last weekend ...
Match #1
The Pope Elijah Burke defeats J Best @ 3:51 after The Elijah Experience, a sitout facebuster. The new King of The Valley carries out the briefcase he retrieved in the big ladder match at Rage In The Cage, good for a guaranteed shot at the Southern championship whenever he pleases. J Best does his best poor man's Kanye West impression and tries to stand up to Burke, but just gets a who is this guy reaction. The commentators wonder when Burke intends to cash in. There is a ton of potential turmoil around the belt now held by Jamin Olivencia after the post match altercation with CM Punk, and Titus says not to forget about Marcus Anthony, the former champion. If Burke can play his cards right, he could be champion very, very soon.
-- First commercial break --
Back from the break and Michael Hayes & Mohammad Ali Vaez are out to talk with Gilbert. First of all, congratulations on the win last Saturday at Rage In The Cage, the 2 playing a pivotal role in Team OVW winning the War Games match. Moving on, what does the future hold for them?, and will they be looking for a shot at the Southern Tag Team champions The Skywalkers? Vaez says that it is great to have Hayes back. They should have never lost those belts back in the spring, Hayes should have never been injured, but it happened. They dealt with The Marauders and now, finally, the threat is gone. They have made a decision though to focus on their individual careers for the immediate future. Hayes adds that they were a great tag team, but they both think there is more to accomplish individually. That doesn't mean though that they are finished or anything like that. Once they have done what they intend to do, watch out because you just might see Hayes & Vaez together as champions again.
Match #2
Southern Tag Team champions The Skywalkers defeat Raul Lamotta & Nick Dumeyer in a non title match @ 5:08 when Aaron Sky pinned Dumeyer after a double superkick. After being defeated with Anarquia last Saturday, Lamotta was back today with a new partner for take 2 against the champions. The commentators mention that Lamotta is putting the blame for the loss on Anarquia because he is a winner, Anarquia is a loser. Dean points out the irony given Lamotta lost every match out here for months, while Titus says that was because half the time he was against the Metal Master and you never know who it is so how do you even prepare. What about the other half though? Whatever the case, The Skywalkers prevail again and Lamotta is likely going to need to look for another new partner if he intends to overtake the champions.
-- Second commercial break --
Match #3
Rudy Switchblade defeats Dapper Dan @ 4:32 via submission to the Boston Crab. The TV debut for the mustached Dapper Dan carnival era throwback goes south fast against the veteran Switchblade, coming off a big win last weekend over The Ultimate Fighter Jay Bradley. The commentators put over that Switchblade could be pushing himself into the title picture if he keeps up wins like this, but Titus disagrees as he has to get through Bradley first. You might defeat The Ultimate Fighter once, but you never do it twice!
And sure enough, almost on cue, out comes Bradley, accompanied by his cutman Mongo, and now added to the MMA theatrics is a cornerman with a bucket and a water bottle, being portrayed by of all people, Elvis Pridemoore. Mongo gets the mic for Bradley and gives it to him so he can address Switchblade. Bradley offers congratulations on the win last weekend, but everybody knows it was nothing but a fluke. He is going to be entering training with "Team Bradley" immediately, and he wants a rematch at the November 8 Saturday Night Special. Switchblade seems indifferent to the idea, he already beat him once, so Bradley sweetens it and adds that Switchblade can choose any type of match he wants. That gets his interest. He has a week to think it over and if he has the guts, next week here on TV, just name it. The Ultimate Fighter does striking, submission, ground and pound, he does it all! The challenge is made and given Switchblade's interest, it doesn't seem like if, but what, as in what kind of a match he will choose.
-- Third commercial break --
Before the next match, Heidi Lovelace is out to talk with Gilbert. She says that last week was disappointing thanks to Tracy Smothers interfering. Gilbert mentions that Ohio Valley has decided that because both won 3 falls in the gauntlet match, the next #1 contender will be decided from a match with Mary Elizabeth Monroe vs Taeler Hendrix next week on TV, leaving Heidi out in the cold. She says that's ok because she doesn't want a match with Jessie Belle. She wants a match with Smothers! Man vs woman, that way she can take him out so that the next time she gets a shot, there won't be any interference. Gilbert says it's been a while since they have seen a match like that here, but it may be a while as Smothers may or may not accept.
Match #4
The Blossom Twins defeat Scarlett Bordeaux & Nikki St. John @ 5:53 when Hannah Blossom pinned St. John after the Blossom Bomb, a side slam. This tag team match came about from the actions of Taeler Hendrix towards the twins in the gauntlet match last week, giving The Blossoms a chance at some revenge. Taeler was in fine form today, extremely upset about not winning, and placing 100% of the blame squarely onto Scarlett for costing her the gauntlet match at Rage In The Cage. Dean thinks that's bull and Taeler's just making excuses, probably still jealous over Scarlett winning Miss OVW in the summer. Titus says Taeler's the perfect 10 and she should have won. Taeler tries acting as manager and calling the shots, leading to some confusion between Scarlett & Nikki and giving The Blossoms the win. Afterwards Taeler enters, verbally berates Scarlett yet again, and then makes her hold the ropes open while Taeler & Nikki leave first. Dean calls this low rent high school crap and The Mean Girls are just that. Gilbert mentions that next week they had better get on the same page if Taeler intends to defeat Mary Elizabeth Monroe in the #1 contenders match.
-- Fourth commercial break --
Match #5
Eddie Diamond & Bud Dwight defeat The Body Guy & Melvin Maximus @ 6:31 when Diamond pinned Body Guy after an elbow drop from the top rope. EFD is looking to continue the momentum he had built up leading up to the King of The Valley match with 2 huge pinfall victories over Big Rob Terry, and teaming with The Party Starter today, they do just that. The very large and muscular Body Guard was officially titled Melvin Maximus here and going forward, with The Body Guy taking the mic before the match and blaming Melvin for their failure to take the briefcase at Rage In The Cage. He says that Melvin is walking a thin line and not to disappoint. Surely losing today won't help things.
But that's not all. After the match, Rob Terry is out! He heads to the ring and clearly has 1 thing in mind. We got a taste of the new Terry at the iPPV and today he is showing no signs of changing his ways as he heads in. Dwight tries to get the party started before Terry can do anything as he throws up 1 arm after another in rhythm in his alternating "yes!" style gimmick, but Terry just grabs and shoves him out of the way with ease. Diamond doesn't back down to his credit, but this is Rob Terry. Diamond tries reasoning with him, but he just kicks him in the gut. Bent over, Terry positions him and delivers a big powerbomb. Dwight goes over and tries for a right, but Terry just grabs him and lifts into a Spinebuster Slam. Melvin Maximus considers going in, but Body Guy holds him back saying that this isn't their fight. Dean thinks this is pathetic, Rob Terry's nothing but a bully. Titus says he can bully most of the roster so they'd had all better watch out.
-- Fifth commercial break --
Back from break and Danny Davis is out at ringside to speak with Gilbert. To start, a congratulations on War Games and ridding Ohio Valley of the threat from Doug Basham & The Blacklist once and for all. Davis says thanks, but he can't take all the credit, in fact he won't take any of it. The D.O.A. Trailer Park Trash, Mohammad Ali Vaez, Michael Hayes, Mr. Wrestling Nick Dinsmore as he goes back into the shadows ready to come to the rescue next time that OVW's own Superman is needed, and next week Rob Conway & Cliff Compton will both be here. Appropriate name though for The Blacklist because as far as he's concerned going forward, they're all blacklisted from Ohio Valley and he guarantees that we will never have to deal with Doug Basham again. And once they find out who that masked turncoat was, he will pay for his cowardly actions. He might think he's safe, but someway, somehow, he will slip up and when he does, he'd better watch out. But that aside for now because it's back to business as usual. Next week on TV, it's Metal Master giving Dylan Bostic a return match for the TV Title, Mary Elizabeth Monroe against Taeler Hendrix to see who's the new #1 contender to the Women's Title, and there's a lot to get done before November 8 at the next Saturday Night Special. Top priority though would have to be CM Punk. The fans cheer as Davis says that everybody saw what happened at Rage In The Cage and if they didn't, order the replay because man, it was awesome. Punk was here just visiting backstage and he had no idea that was going to go down, but it did and he is going to get in contact with Punk and his people and see what happens. The fans have spoken and they want to see him back in OVW, back in the ring, because apparently Punk has business here. Far from a sure thing given the man's recent reputation, but it's going to be in the works and hopefully CM Punk can be made a part of the OVW roster.
Jamin Olivencia is out!
And with that, out comes the new Southern champion Jamin Olivencia, title in hand, to address the fans after what went down at Rage In The Cage. He heads past Davis, the 2 shaking hands, and goes to the ring. Dean says in case people have been living under a rock or watching on mute, it was a week ago that he won back the title from Marcus Anthony in the Steel Cage match, but what everybody's talking about since is what happened after the match. The shocking appearance of former NWA World champion CM Punk, first congratulating Olivencia and then giving him the Go To Sleep right afterward. Olivencia takes the mic and is ready to speak. He says that it was a long journey back to the top, but he never had any dount he could do it. He has to give it up to Marcus Anthony, a formidable opponent, but last Saturday, he was the better man. Another person he wants to address is The Pope Elijah Burke. They went toe to toe here earlier this year and now he has that briefcase. He knows that Burke will be coming for him, but just know that he will need to be prepared because no matter what happens, he is going to be ready for him when he comes looking to cash in that guaranteed title shot. Now, what everybody wants to know about ...
CM Punk. He doesn't know what that was all about, but he's actually glad that happened. He's glad because way back when he was first breaking into wrestling, he can remember everybody was talking about CM Punk. He had Louisville, Kentucky by the horns back then, and he left his mark as 1 of the greatest Southern champions yet. Forget that. He went on to bigger things, the NWA World championship multiple times. Anything there is to have been done the last 10 years, CM Punk has done it. That's why he has been waiting for his chance at a match with Punk right here in Ohio Valley. Punk is 1 of the best, and Olivencia wants the chance to prove he can go with the best. So while he doesn't know why, he just knows it is. It happened, and he wants it. The people want it. Jamin Olivencia vs CM Punk. And all he has to do is name the time and place and he'll be ready to go because he backs down from nobody, and will take on all comers that want to try and take this (the championship) from him.
But just like that, the atmosphere turns to booing because from the back comes ...
... an angered Timmy Danger, the manager of Marcus Anthony. Jamin wants to talk about CM Punk, Elijah Burke, whoever, but he needs to not overlook Marcus Anthony! He has a guaranteed rematch as the former champion and the ink has not even finished drying yet. November 8 at the Saturday Night Special, Anthony gets his rematch at the title. No stupid Steel Cage, nothing like that. That means Jamin had better be ready for everybody and everything coming at him. He may have beat Anthony once, but it was a fluke and his man is going to get back his property in the rematch. Jamin answers back that he is not forgetting about Anthony, trying to forget about Danger though. Together, they put on the match of the year in Ohio Valley last weekend, so as far as he's concerned, anytime Anthony wants a rematch, he's got it. As for Danger, he's not worried about there being no cage. In fact, Danger should be worried because it means Olivencia can get his hands on him come November 8, and once he's finished with Anthony, he just might finish Danger off too.
Olivencia's music hits and he poses around the ring with the belt as we're out of time for the week. Log on to the website for new "websclusive" bonus matches, and make sure to come back next week. Metal Master defends the TV Title against former champion Dylan Bostic, Mary Elizabeth Monroe against Taeler Hendrix to determine the new #1 contender to the Women's Title, Rudy Switchblade answers Jay Bradley's challenge, plus Cliff Compton, Rob Conway, and Marcus Anthony will all be here, as well as any potential news on CM Punk. That's next week, don't miss it!

Websclusive match #1
Eric Locker defeats Leon Shelly @ 4:13 via pinfall after a T Bone Suplex. This was a first round match in the Future Talent Showcase tournament, an 8 man challenge with 8 of the lower card talents here, with the winner earning a future opportunity at the TV Title, currently held by Metal Master. Locker looks impressive here, picking up the win and moving on to the semi finals. Commentary for the websclusives are provided by this week by The Psychedelic Superstar Chris Silvio, currently out with a concussion after the King of The Valley Ladder match at Rage in The Cage, and Mr. Wrestling Nick Dinsmore, the head trainer of these wrestlers for some added expertise on each individual.VS |
Websclusive match #2
Ram Jam Jon Ramser defeats Deonta Davis @ 4:37 via pinfall after reversing a small package. This was also a first round match in the Future Talent Showcase Tournament. The story here is that Ramser is deaf and the odds he has overcome in not only wrestling, but life. He goes over over Davis, despite Davis having had some TV experience in recent months. That means it will be Ramser vs Locker in the semi finals in 2 weeks time. The rest of the first round will take place next week on the website with 2 more websclusive matchesVS | |
