TV champion: Metal Master
Women's champion: Jessie Belle
The man some are calling Ohio Valley's hero stemming from his performance in War Games 2 weeks ago, Mr. Media Cliff Compton is riding a big wave right now as he looks towards the next step in his career. He starts by telling all the fans that he has been waiting for the chance here and War Games gave it to him. Now normally he would like nothing more than to finish what he started, but oh well, The Blacklist has said sayonara so that won't be happening. It looks like Jamin Olivencia's got enough on his plate right now so he might hold off there to pick up the scraps when the dust settles from that situation. Let's see though, is there anybody in the back right now that wants a piece of Cliff Compton? Speak now or forever hold your peace because if anybody wants to make their mark, he's throwing it down and giving somebody the chance to do just that. Unexpectedly the music starts going. That's "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath ...
Before they can continue though, the Director of Authority, Trailer Park Trash Frank Miller is in the ring. He tells both men to just calm down because there ain't nothing going on right now. He and Danny Davis were hopeful that they could figure out who this masked son of a gun was at War Games that turned his back on them, almost put Compton & Conway out of the job if Doug Basham had won, but it looks like that ain't gonna happen, at least not working together. They got some issues, they got some anger, alright then. Let's get it all out. November 8 at the Saturday Night Special, if they want to do this, they can. It's like the old saying good friends, better enemies, and maybe here, that applies. Compton corrects TPT and says Conway's not his friend, never was, but what he will do is make him eat his words at the Special. Conway says to bring it. The Blacklist might be history, but Team OVW is showing it had cracks that are now fully exposed with the team dynamic over and done with.

Michael Hayes defeats Nick Dumeyer @ 5:02 via submission to the Liberty Lock, a seated reverse cobra clutch. The 1 legged Iraqi war veteran makes a successful return to singles action here today after the declaration that he & Mohammad Ali Vaez were going to focus on singles action for the immediate future. The commentators wonder what is in store for the 2 wrestlers as they look to head out, maybe having their eyes on the TV Title held by Metal Master, to be contested in today's main event. There is also still the unknown masked turncoat lurking and other than knowing who he isn't based on who was in the ring at War Games, there is really no way of knowing who he is at this point either.

The Southern Tag Team champions The Skywalkers defeat Raul Lamotta & The Body Guy in a non title match @ 6:33 when Walker pinned Body Guy after the double superkick. After the failures of the last 2 weeks with Anarquia and then The Marksman Nick Dumeyer, Lamotta turned to The Body Guy to try and take out the champions, but problems between The Body Guy and Lamotta over who would take the win led to the team's downfall. Their own egos would defeat themselves and allow for the young Skywalkers to take the victory. "The Winner" Lamotta loses again, but the commentators speculate that he will no doubt be back next week with a new partner, and every week thereafter until he finds somebody with some success. Danger says at this rate, he'll have went through the whole locker room as partners by the New Year.

Ryan Howe vs Stuart Miles never started. Before the match started, The Pastor of Disaster took a mic to first address Ohio Valley's resident Rockstar. Miles told all the sinners here that the music of Howe is the music of the devil! Every time that Howe picks up that electric guitar, he is filling people's ears with the sounds of the inferno below. If Howe wants redemption, he should hand over the guitar and join him. Join the following. Miles offers salvation, but does Howe want it? The Rockstar looks at his electric guitar, strapped around his neck, as if considering. He then grabs the mic and then let's out a hearty NO! to a big pop from the crowd. Miles says ok, have it your way. He goes to put down the mic but instead takes it and levels Howe in the head with it. As he goes down, Miles grabs the guitar away. He laughs before ripping the strings away. He tugs at them, eventually taking the bridge off and throws it down. Howe gets up as Miles exits the ring, looking back and laughing as Howe holds his guitar, now destroyed by The Pastor. This is a move by Miles that will not go unpunished as Howe will not soon forget this act.

Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeats Taeler Hendrix @ 6:29 via submission to the Rainbow Cross, a modified STF. The Rated G Superstar continues where she left off in the gauntlet at Rage In The Cage before being cheated out of the match by Hendrix, getting some revenge here in the process to earn a shot at Jessie Belle and the Women's Title. During the match, Hendrix was accompanied out by fellow Mean Girls Scarlett Bordeaux & Nikki St. John. During the match, Nikki distracted the referee as Taeler wanted Scarlett to hand her a purse that had been brought out, but she refused. Nikki then went over and started arguing, allowing Monroe to take advantage of the situation and put Taeler away. Afterward, she yelled at Scarlett for screwing up and wanted her to hold the rope open again. Taeler accidentally tripped and fell out of the ring embarrassed. Scarlett laughed at it while Nikki immediately went to her aid. Monroe just looked on until ...
From the commentators desk, Tracy Smothers stands up and takes the house mic. He tells Monroe that was a great performance, but while it's 1 thing to beat "some bimbo that acts like an insecure high school slut", she won't be dealing with her for the title. She will be dealing with the real champion, "Daddy's Girl" Jessie Belle. Since they didn't cross paths in the gauntlet, maybe it's time for them to properly meet, and he "wouldn't mind getting himself some of that too!" Dean rips on Smothers and his chauvinistic comments out here as he & his daughter circle the ring ready to attack. From the back though comes Heidi Lovelace, sliding in and standing to fight with Monroe! The fans cheer as Smothers & Belle back down.

Before the main event, the commentators mention the ongoing CM Punk situation. He showed up at Rage In The Cage, no contract, not part of this organization, and he laid out Jamin Olivencia with the Go To Sleep. Last week Danny Davis announced that he was going to work on getting Punk back, and they can update that next week, there will be an announcement concerning Punk and the November 8 Saturday Night Special. Either a deal will be made, or he will not be appearing. Punk has been known to do things his way, you could even call him stubborn to an extent. Doing that to Olivencia may have been enough to satisfy him and that's enough to prove whatever it was he wanted to, to himself. We will see what happens.
TV Title match
Match #5VS |
TV champion Metal Master defeats Dylan Bostic @ 9:25 via pinfall after a Jackhammer to retain the TV Title. The rematch from Rage In The Cage sees the masked superstar successfully defend his newly won championship against The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling. Bostic had a close call thanks to attempted interference from The Mexicutioner on the outside. Standing on the apron with a chair, the referee got up to get him down. Metal Master went over as in the process, Mexicutioner threw it down to the mat. Bostic took advantage as he got up and performed a jumping reverse bulldog onto Master onto the chair, better known as the Zig Zag. Bostic slid the chair out and covered as Mexicutioner dropped down and the referee turned to count a very close near fall. The TV champion would make a comeback though and put Bostic away. The commentators put over that so far, nobody in Ohio Valley has managed to match up with the Metal Master, is there anybody here that can?
Next week, the Southern champion Jamin Olivencia and Marcus Anthony will both be under the same roof for the first time since Rage In The Cage. A potentially volatile situation ahead of their rematch. Not only that, but as mentioned, definitive word on whether or not CM Punk will be at the Saturday Night Special on November 8. Also here, Cliff Compton will be in action, Mohammad Ali Vaez in action, the women of Ohio Valley as always, plus we expect to hear more about matches for November 8. That's next week, don't miss it!
Websclusive match #1
Dapper Dan defeats SK Eveslage @ 4:52 via pinfall, using a big German suplex. This was a first round match in the Future Talent Showcase tournament. The winner of the tournament gets a future opportunity at the TV Title, currently held by Metal Master. The carnival era throwback look of Dapper Dan is enough to beat the somewhat seasoned veteran Eveslage, at least a veteran of the Ohio Valley undercard and dark matches. As with last week, commentary for the websclusives are provided by heaed trainer Mr. Wrestling Nick Dinsmore and The Psychedelic Superstar Chris Silvio, still out with a concussion after the King of The Valley Ladder match at Rage in The Cage 2 weeks ago. Doctors are hesitant to clear Silvio due to post concussion syndrome symptoms.VS |
Websclusive match #2
Rump Thump defeats J Best @ 4:30 via pinfall after hitting the Rumper Stumper, an Iceman Parsons style butt butt. This was also a first round match in the Future Talent Showcase Tournament. The Kanye West wannabe J West tastes defeat to the far more favored Rump Thump, formerly the Urkelesque Stephon J Baxter III several months back. That means it will that in addition to Jon Ramser vs Eric Locker in the semi finals, it will also be Rump Thump vs Dapper Dan as well. The first semi final match will take place next week on the website along with another websclusive match.VS |
