October 31st - Miami Beach, Florida
Out to the ring comes the GM of NWA Florida, MVP! MVP talks about how there are three World titles being defended tonight, going over who will be facing who, along with talking about Shane Helms being here tonight to compete, but he says that right now, he wants some answers from a man many of the fans here tonight are familiar with... and out comes Chris Jericho! Jericho is wearing a suit and shows very little emotion. MVP says he wants answers for why he attacked AJ Styles and ruined his chance to become World Junior champion at Fall Brawl! Jericho answers.
"I don't need to answer to someone like you, Montel, or any of these fans out here. In fact, it almost makes me physically ill being around you people. You, Montel, a criminal... a liar... you fans, all of you booing me here tonight. You hypocrites. You cheer your own, you can sniff out the scent of a lesser creature, and that's why you adore AJ Styles."
The fans cheer for the mention of Styles and start chanting for him.
"He's just like you all. A liar, a hypocrite, and a fake. Styles is nothing but a worm on the boot of the career of a man like me, a former 6-time World Heavyweight champion, amongst countless other accolades, not least among them being the very SAVIOR of this sport, but somewhere along the line people forgot. People forgot just who Chris Jericho really is. You see, Chris Jericho is the truth and conscience of this business, and the fact still remains, I am the best in the world at what I do, and none of you are on a level to judge me. When I do something like I did at Fall Brawl, it is done as a measure of karmic justice. Something that goes way beyond the feeble minds the likes of which reside here in a place like Miami Beach."
Jericho shakes his head in disgust as these fans really tear into him now.
"Paul London gave AJ Styles a verbal lashing, and talked about an inferior talent like 'HBK' and how he'd be offended by the remarks of a guy like Styles, but where is he? He's out of this business, where he belongs, while I stand here, and I stand strong, ready to defend the truth and honor of this business, and I am here to ward off this injustice! And it's just Styles, no, his whole generation is a cancer. Look at a man like CM Punk..."
Chants for Punk now break out big time here in Miami Beach as Jericho just sort of smiles and nods.
"Oh yeah, cheer on that quitter. Cheer on that insignificant nothing! Go ahead, because he doesn't care! He calls himself the 'Best in the World', but once again, he's done nothing compared to Chris Jericho, and in fact, the only thing he's done is sneak attack some kid after he won some small regional belt over in Kentucky... why? To feed his massive ego, because he's afraid? One can only wonder, but Styles is just the same. He wants to make these claims, but how can he possibly live up to them? You see, he said he proclaimed himself 'The Greatest' as a challenge, and I'm here to say... challenge accepted."
Jericho looks to hand off the microphone, but in like a dark blur is Styles in his jacket and hood from the crowd, and he has tackled Jericho and is pelting him with the fists! The fans are going absolutely nuts, but MVP manages to break this up and Jericho escapes, holding his face and checking his hair, looking absolutely furious as Styles poses in the ring and tells him to get back in and fight like man! Jericho just storms off, living to fight another day.
Jeremy Borash hits the ring, and it's time for the real action to begin.
"Mr. Handle That" Mike Facen vs. Paul Jordane
Mike Facen is able to once again pick up a well earned victory, this time against the shady and crafty Paul Jordane. Jordane tries to use underhanded tactics to get the win, going to the tried and true book of dirty tricks to try and get the quick pinfall, but nothing was doing for this young man tonight. Instead, he ate a Jackhammer from the 250 lbs. Facen, putting him down for the three count.
Last week the Juicy Product sent a message to the wrestling world when they attacked the former World Tag Team champions, the Rockstars of Wrestling, with chairs after they defeated Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. This week they came out, along with valet Kimber Lee, and said that the NOW made a claim at being the only undefeated tag team in NWA Florida, and that was a "load of shit", according to David Starr. Dunn goes on to say an even bigger "load of shit" was the fact that the Rockstars just waltzed in and earned a shot at El Hijos del Terror, who, "so sadly", lost their titles at Fall Brawl. Dunn says that he's heard the match on the 14th, at the first iPPV, Turning Point, there's going to be a number one contenders match now instead of a championship match. He says they sent a message loud and clear, and there's only one team who actually deserves a shot, and that team should be in that match... The Juicy Product! Unlike the Mexicans or the wanna-be Rockstars, the Juicy Product are actually OVER. AS. FUCK. and they are the only team ready to represent this company on the global stage.
MVP would make his way out and say that while he doesn't like what they did last week, they do have a point about wins and losses, and who should be in the running for a shot at the World Tag Team titles. He says on the 14th, it'll be a three way match then, between Hijos del Terror, the Rockstars, and the Juicy Product. Starr, Dunn, and Lee seem satisfied with this, as do the fans, as they decide they've won this battle and leave the ring.
..................
Next out is "The King of the Night" Kenny King, who gloats about his win last week, and says there's no man in the back who can stop him now. He says he feels unstoppable, and thinks he should be called the "King of the World" now, but the looks on his face changes grimly as he sees who makes his way out tonight. It's "The Unbreakable" Michael Elgin. Elgin doesn't take long to storm down to the ring and take care of business.
"The Unbreakable" Michael Elgin vs. "The King of the Night" Kenny King
The match starts with a brutal Spinning Back Chop to King, followed by a Lariat. Elgin then picks up King and holds him up for all of 25 seconds with a Vertical Suplex, dropping him and getting a big reaction from the crowd. Elgin deadlifts King up and powerbombs him, lifting him and spinning him and drilling him with a Sit-Out Powerbomb the second time, and it's all over! Michael Elgin shut up Kenny King, and he destroys yet another victim!
Raymond Rowe & Phil Shatter vs. Jon Davis & Uhaa Nation
Rowe and Davis have been in the midst of a grueling feud, based on their eagerness to brawl uncontrollably with one another. They found two equally willing partners to join in the fist flying fun, and this was a very hard hitting affair. Uhaa Nation would turn the most heads in his debut, showing his great strength, but more so his stunning agility, as he would deliver a beautiful combination to Shatter, consisting of a Standing Moonsault followed by a Standing Shooting Star Press which nearly won the match for his team, only to have the count interrupted by Rowe. Rowe looked like he might get that win over Davis he's been looking for, locking him into a Full Nelson, but Nation ripped him away from Davis and lifted him into a Military Press. Rowe would escape the Press, however, and hit a big Back Suplex on Nation. Rowe would attempt to hit his Death Rowe on Nation, but Nation would break out and hit a Tombstone Piledriver, followed by a Standing Shooting Star Press. Davis would hold Shatter off as Nation got the three, and this is a huge win for Nation!
El Hijos del Terror (Rush & Texano) w/ Dark Angel vs. LAX (Homicide & Hunico)
Rush and Texano would have a good, somewhat short match here with the wild and excitable LAX, with Rush managing to catch Hunico with a quick Double Stomp after a fast exchange of moves, crushing his chest and knocking the wind out of him long enough to get the three count.
"The Hurricane" Shane Helms vs. JD Maverick
Helms was here and he was ready to finally get his hands on Maverick, but it wasn't to be! Jonny Vandal would sneak attack Helms, and they would end up laying him out with a Double Superkick... that is until Jeff Hardy ran out to the ring, and these fans here in Miami Beach went absolutely crazy! Hardy would grab the microphone and state that he's tired of watching his friend get beat down and disrespected week in and week out! He said he came here tonight to watch his back, and now he's out here to let Vandal and Maverick know that at Turning Point, he and Helms are going to kick both of their asses, no disqualifications, no cheap way out! They're going to take they're beating, and they're going to get the Hell out! The fans like this, and Maverick and Vandal don't look so sure of themselves now.
NWA World Women's Title
AJ Lee (c) vs. Hailey Hatred
AJ Lee would have a successful defense here, but not without a substantial fight from the large and deadly Hatred. Hailey Hatred would have the fans behind her, as the obnoxious Lee insulted her and mocked her, but Hatred would prove she is more than capable of hanging with Lee. Lee would manage to catch Hatred with the Shining Wizard to stun her just long enough to get the three, Hatred managing to kick out just a fraction of a second after the count and she looked very disappointed, as Lee smiled on in her sadistic way, clutching her title for dear life.
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title
Daniel Bryan (c) vs. "Bad Influence" Frankie Kazarian
Kazarian has been on a roll lately, while Bryan had a bit of a near loss scare at Fall Brawl. Kazarian looked good, though Bryan looked decidedly better in this contest tonight. Bryan looked like he was out to prove something, and he was able to get some respect out of the usually disrespectful Kazarian, tapping him out with the YES! Lock in impressive fashion, besting the former World Junior champion with class. Kazarian would shake his hand afterwards, stripping away from of that bad attitude we've seen lately, but all of this good nature goes out the window as Jay Lethal hits the ring and attacks both Kazarian and Bryan! He had called out Kazarian last week, but then Kazarian ended up getting this match, and it obviously left a bad taste in his mouth!
Lethal grabs a microphone and states, "I should be in the main events! I should be in the bright lights! Not this jabronie, not this bearded hippy, but a real man! A real athlete! You all better wake up and smell the roses, cause it's Jay Lethal time!" Lethal storms off, as Bryan and Kazarian squirm on the mat, not looking too thrilled, obviously.
NWA World Heavyweight Title
Samoa Joe (c) vs. Sheamus
The former World Heavyweight champion, Sheamus, was making his debut here for the company but clearly had the fans support, going against the now reviled Samoa Joe, who never let the smug frown and disgust leave his face. Joe and Sheamus would have a fantastic brawl, and Sheamus would get in some good licks and near falls on the champion, but Joe showed his meddle and toughness to kick out of such moves as the White Noise and Flying Shoulderblock. Joe would manage to stagger Sheamus with a series of strikes and looked hit a Muscle Buster soon after, but Sheamus fought in off. Sheamus would scale to the top, but Joe would rush and kick him in the head, and then manage to crunch him up again and nail the Muscle Buster. Joe would get the pinfall here, and Sheamus would have to debut in defeat to his and the fans' disappointment.
After the match, Joe takes the microphone and says, "You know, I've been beatin' everybody from the west coast, to the east coast, and everywhere in between, and still I get no respect. Now I've had to stomach a guy like AJ Styles claiming himself to be the 'Greatest of All Time' and then a has been like Jericho shows up, thinking he still has a dog in the fight? Styles you disrespected me to no end when you decided Daniel Bryan was worthy of your challenge, but Samoa Joe was not. For that... Joe's gonna kill you. And Jericho, that goes double for you. Heed my words, boys, because next time you see me, it'll be the last time!" Joe makes a throat slashing motion, and the fans get riled up for this now.
