Ironman Rob Conway defeats The Body Guy @ 5:19 via pinfall after The Ego Trip, a whiplash. Before the match could even start, out came Cliff Compton to sit and do commentary. They ask Compton about the attack on Mohammad Ali Vaez last week by the masked man, to which Compton says that is why the Team OVW members need be on high alert right now. The Blacklist might be history, but not everybody on that team is. It could be him, it could be Conway, he just hopes that he gets to Conway first at the SNS because they have unfinished business together. During the match itself, Melvin Maximus seemed ready to interfere for The Body Guy, but Compton was up and made sure to prevent that allowing Conway to get the clean victory. Compton and Conway shared a glance with Dean saying that Compton wants Conway 100% for their match.

Heidi Lovelace & The Rated G Superstar Mary Elizabeth Monroe defeat Daddy's Girl Jessie Belle & The Queen Bee Taeler Hendrix @ 6:13 when Monroe made Hendrix tap out to the Rainbow Cross, a modified STF. The Women's champion was accompanied by the dirtiest man in the south Tracy Smothers, while the remaining Mean Girls, Scarlett Bordeaux & Nikki St. John, accompanied Hendrix. As the match was going on, Smothers propositioned both Bordeaux & St. John, but they seemingly had no interest in him. He then went to commentary, took a headset and told Dean he just booked himself into a 3 way dance with them 2 school girl skanks for later on tonight at the Louisville Marriot after hours and wants to know if Dean will "referee". Dean calls him sick as Titus quickly volunteers. As the match goes on, Lovelace & Belle brawl out to the floor before a chase ensues. With the referee distracted, Smothers gets involved by blindsiding Lovelace with a clothesline as she turned a corner. Smothers told his daughter to get her title and for them to get out of here, quickly giving a crotch chop like it's 1998 and still cool to the Mean Girls saying they aren't his type anyway. The 2 then argue about which would actually lower their standards to the 52 year old Smothers, distracting Taeler as she tells them to shutup, only to turn and get locked into Monroe's submission finisher. Monroe gets her title shot at Belle next week on TV, but she quickly heads outside realizing what happened to Lovelace and helps her up. Man vs woman is seldom seen here and what we just saw is why Dean says. Hopefully it doesn't get any worst than that at the SNS when Lovelace takes on Smothers 1 on 1.

The Bully Rob Terry defeats The Party Starter Bud Dwight @ 4:27 via pinfall after a powerbomb. Another dominant performance from Terry as he continues to just mow through anybody and everybody that stands in his way. Give Dwight credit for standing up to The Bully, but he just didn't bring enough like most wrestlers that Terry tends to target. After the match Terry seemed to not be through with Dwight and picked him up to ready for a second powerbomb. EFD Eddie Diamond from the back! He gets in the ring and starts landing rights to Terry, but they have no effect. He shoves Diamond away and goes back to Dwight to finish what he started. EFD however grabs a chair and heads back in. He waffles Terry in the back to cringe the big man. Another shot and Terry goes out to the floor. Michael Hayes, partner of Terry's victim last week is quickly out and fortunately a similar fate for Dwight is avoided. How long though? How long can these men fend off the far bigger Terry?

The Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling Dylan Bostic & The Pastor of Disaster, Rev. Stuart Miles defeat Metal Master & Rockstar Ryan Howe @ 7:45 when Bostic pinned Master after using the Zig Zag. A clean victory here today on TV by Bostic ahead of challenging the masked Metal Master for the TV championship. Should that happen again at the Saturday Night Special, Titus proudly proclaims that Bostic regains his title. Dean points out that if he doesn't, well, we don't know yet. He's putting something on the line. Could be his already buzzcut hair, maybe he has to leave town. Both Bostic & Miles were quite jovial about their victory, giving them some momentum with Miles also facing Howe at the SNS after he destroyed the Rockstar's prized electric guitar 2 weeks ago, or ripped off the strings anyway.
From the back comes the Director of Authority Trailer Park Trash. He takes the mic and tells Bostic to just hold on 1 second here. He wanted that TV Title shot, he had to put something on the line to get it. TPT says he heard Dean mention his hair, but we can all see that ain't much of a punishment for Bostic with how he cuts his hair as is. Or maybe leaving town, but TPT doesn't want to put Ohio Valley in the bad books of the promoter that ends up having to deal with the headache personified that is Bostic. No, no, he wants to humiliate Bostic in the best way he can. If Metal Master had lost back at Rage In The Cage, he'd have had to lose the mask. Well Bostic will do the opposite and add something if he loses. Not a mask because he knows that Bostic's ego would never let himself go 5 seconds without showing that face of his. TPT's going old school and if Bostic loses, he has to wear a dress! Dean loves it! Old school southern style stipulations in effect here as Bostic could get utterly humiliated next week on TV given he prides himself on a nickname like the Justin Bieber of Professional Wrestling.
-- Fourth commercial break --
From the back comes Jay Bradley. With him is the cutman Mongo, the waterboy Elvis Pridemoore. Bradley seems to have everything figured out and certainly talks the talk each week, but can he walk the walk? Bradley tells Switchblade that what he is about to witness is a future legend at work. He invites him to take notes and study the tape because if he can spot a weakness in the offensive game of The Ultimate Fighter, he would be the first. He just hopes that Switchblade has enough guts to still show his face at the Saturday Night Special. Cain Velasquez, Jon Bones Jones, Chris Weidman, Johny Hendricks, Ronda Rousey, all were given the chance to show up here today and face Bradley, but all declined. Too scared to face some real competition. Even Kama, The Supreme Fighting Machine, wouldn't dare look in his eyes, let alone take him on today. But that doesn't matter because he is going to step in with a true MMA legend today. Grappling with the greatest. Ladies and gentlemen ...
Elvis Pridemoore! You've gotta be kidding me? Titus on commentary hypes Pridemoore's MMA background as the only man to hold victories over Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Royce Gracie in the same night ... while playing EA Sports UFC for the PS4. The only man to defeat a Brock Lesnar action figure 100 times in a row. Dean lets out a give me a break. Bradley says not to be fooled by the appearance of Elvis. People make jokes about Chuck Norris because nobody dare make a joke about this man. Bradley calls Elvis to mid ring as Mongo holds up a mic for him. He says he will now go over the rules of MMA for the benefit of Rudy Switchblade. No eye pokes, like this. He pokes Elvis in the eyes. There are no headbutts, like this. He gives a short strike to Elvis from inches away to daze him. There are no blows below the belt like this, because this is after all, a gentlemen's sport. He kicks Elvis square between the legs to drop him to the mat holding his groin. There are no kicks to the head of a downed opponent, like this. Bradley again demonstrates, kicking away at the head of Elvis. The commentators are disgusted, except Titus of course who thinks this is the greatest thing he's ever seen. Bradley puts in a mouth guard and promptly locks in the Rear Naked Choke, Elvis taps out. He releases and locks in a cross armbreaker. Elvis taps again. Bradley releases and locks in an Ankle Lock. Elvis taps as Dean says this farce has gone on long enough.
Finally Switchblade gets in and slides into the ring as sure enough, Bradley and Mongo exit to the floor. Bradley can run now but he can't run at the Saturday Night Special. The first match in the Best of 5 series between them, MMA Rules. Judging by Bradley's definition of MMA, this may not be what we are used to and more like those old school UFC tournaments from 1993 where Gerard Gordeau KO's Teila Tuli with a head kick, or Kevin Rosier stomps the head of Zane Frazier into a corner stoppage. Also, looks like the brief Team Bradley expansion to include Elvis Pridemoore has reached its conclusion. Switchblade didn't need the motivation, but he certainly has some extra after today.
-- Fifth commercial break --
Back from break and the commentators are ready to go over the lineup for the Saturday Night Special. November 8 from the Davis Arena. The stakes have certainly been raised since last month's Rage In The Cage on iPPV, and everybody here is looking to make a big impression with all eyes and ears turned to Ohio Valley.
- CM Punk drops a pipe bomb with an open mic to address OVW & the NWA
- Rudy Switchblade vs Jay Bradley under MMA Rules in match #1 of their Best of 5 series
- Michael Hayes vs The Body Guy
- Ryan Howe vs Stuart Miles
- Eddie Diamond vs Rob Terry
- The Skywalkers defend the Tag Team Title vs Raul Lamotta & a mystery partner
- Metal Master defends the TV Title vs Dylan Bostic, if Bostic loses he must wear a dress
- Heidi Lovelace vs Tracy Smothers in the Battle of the Sexes
- Cliff Compton vs Rob Conway as Team OVW explodes
- Main event return match as Jamin Olivencia defends the Heavyweight Title against Marcus Anthony. Anthony has barred manager Timmy Danger from ringside and Elijah Burke's King of The Valley briefcase gives him a guaranteed shot at the title whenever he chooses. Could he cash in at the Saturday Night Special?
Big lineup of action, don't miss it!

Southern champion Jamin Olivencia defeats Rudo Raul Lamotta in a non title match @ 5:38 via pinfall after hitting him with the Standing O, a jumping bodyscissors into a DDT. A big chance for Lamotta, but he comes up short despite getting in some offense. Most of this match serves as a backdrop for a forklift bringing out an extremely large wooden box. Nobody has any idea what this is. Olivencia wants to know what's going on, but it just distracts him and allows for the Rudo to briefly take control. The commentators speculate that Lamotta's tag team partner could be in there. Maybe it's Marcus Anthony? Olivencia meanwhile makes a comeback and puts Lamotta away, putting to rest any hopes The Rudo might have had on first winning the Tag Team Title and then coming back to get the Southern Title. After the match is done, Olivencia turns his attention back to the box. He goes over to it and wants to know what's going on. He questions Titus, even grabbing him by the tie, but he swears he has no idea. Dean and Gilbert both say the same. Olivencia goes over and looks to open it. Out comes ...
Marcus Anthony! Not from inside the box, but through the curtain from the back. Olivencia backs up and gets in the ring perhaps fearing an ambush. Anthony looks at the box momentarily before heading to the ring. What is going to happen here? Another speculation from Gilbert, Elijah Burke in the box? Dean says it might make sense, but that's not Burke's style really, nor does he need to do that having made his intentions clear. Meanwhile in the ring, Olivencia and Anthony circle when Anthony extends his hand!? Is this the hand shake that Olivencia's been looking for? For the last month, he has been after the show of respect from the former champion. Is he finally going to get it? Olivencia is cautious, looking at the box, back at Anthony. At the box, at Anthony. Olivencia won't do it! He heads out of the ring sensing a trap, and perhaps wisely so. This is his challenger at the SNS, an absolute beast, the perfect hybrid wrestler as if created in a laboratory like Frankenstein's monster. Meanwhile there is a giant mystery wooden box at ringside? Dean says he wouldn't either.
But no matter what, we are just hours away from the SNS. Olivencia vs Anthony for the title, CM Punk drops a pipe bomb on Ohio Valley. You don't wanna miss it!
Websclusive match #1
Rump Thump defeats Dapper Dan @ 5:49 via pinfall after hitting the Rumper Stumper, an Iceman Parsons style butt butt. The second semi final match in the Future Talent Showcase Tournament sees the good time man advance over the throwback style. The final is now set as Rump Thump vs Eric Locker for the November 15 edition of TV, winner earns themselves a future shot at the TV Title. Nick Dinsmore on commentary says he has been very impressed with what he has seen in the last few weeks out here, while Chris Silvio takes another route saying that it has been an excellent scouting chance for him should Rump Thump or Eric Locker go on to become TV champion for when he is cleared from his post concussion syndrome to return to action.VS |
Websclusive match #2
Michael Hayes defeats J Best @ 4:51 via submission with the Liberty Lock, a reverse Cobra Clutch applied on the mat. The 1 legged Iraqi war veteran picks up a win as he continues his venture into singles after the split with former tag team partner Mohammad Ali Vaez. The commentators discuss the heart of Hayes, having not only survived what he went through, but then doing more with 1 leg than most with 2 could do. Silvio says that heart may end up being his downfall though if he goes after the Bully Rob Terry. It's 1 thing to come out here and go through a Kanye West wannabe, but the 300+ pounds of The Bully would be taking on a lot more than he might be able to handle should the match take place. Not to mention the attack last week on Vaez and how Hayes could be the next target of the Masked Turncoat. Dinsmore has faith in his 1 time student.VS |
